Roleplayers wanted!

I've been wanting to start up a small group for some time now. But this group won't be anything like a galactic power such as TSE, TSO, GJO, The Empire or NR, etc. Instead, I'd like to start a group that comprises of no more than 6 roleplayers, who are a group of adventurers who travel the galaxy looking for fame and fortune aboard a single ship.

I'm looking for one or two Jedi, an outlaw type, a great pilot, smooth-talking smuggler-type, techno-freak who's good at hacking and using technical equipment, a good mechanic, and perhaps a strong, muscular type (could even be inhuman, such as a Wookiee).

Roleplay-types would include things such as taking on smuggling jobs, hired-escorts for cargo runs, mercenaries for hire, as well as our own agenda's like avoiding the authorities (looking for the outlaw of the group and the smuggler), fighting off crime-lord's lackeys who are after the smuggler, stealing the latest parts for the ship (for the mechanic). Basically, the skills of all members would be invaluable to the success of the group.

*On a side note, I won't be roleplaying in this group as Garrett Blade, since his character is innappropriate and wouldn't work well with the Jedi kin the group. :D

It's an interesting idea, though. Although people can draw their own comparisons, I don't think there's anything quite like that. For some reason, I'm thinking of Booster and his refurbished Star Destroyer.

Not at all.

Perhaps a force-sensitive person who's aware of their powers, but doesn't have much knowledge or interest for the Jedi as a whole, and would rather live life as they wish, rather than by some code. Maybe even a Shadow (Neutral) Jedi, or a Jedi outcast. As long as they're force sensitive and not evil, they fit the job description. (Oh, and they have to be small enough to fit inside a Corellian Transport! :p )

You have a very good somewhat detailed information of all the characters you are kind of leaning towards, with some of the objectives at hand to show the RPer what to expect. But at the moment I do not have a character that fits to your wanting of characters. And, I am not planning on making a new character for quite sometime.

[Grand Admiral Vriss]

Well Grand Admiral Vriss is one of the twelve or thirteen Grand Admirals there was in the rank position ever. He has actually somewhat broken away from the Empire, after its demise after the Battle of Endor. He is a warlord of sorts taking over planet by planet like many other Admirals tried to years after the 3rd movie in the original trilogy. So my character is based a few years after that movie. He has recently held a meeting with Alzoc III leader Governor R'seem, I think was the name, to ask them to join his campaign against the New Republic. The angered Talz got kinda mad, and was then shot. ::Grins::

I have a great idea for the story that could bring me into it, as well as a smuggling job for the smuggler and his crew. But you just tell me if you are interested at the moment or not, I will get back to you after ya post. ;)
