I thought I could extend this offer to you guys just in case you have any interest or know anyone who would.

I am looking for sponsors to pay $50 per ad in a newsletter sent daily with two ad spaces to 166,000+ people. That is just about one penny per every 35 people reached. The ads are put in between content and are tastefully displayed (also, no porn ads or R rated stuff, just PG-13 and lower).

So, my offer is if anyone knows of a company or person who might be interested in such an ad, you get 20% of that $50. Automatic $10. If you are that person interested, your discount is $10 :)

I realize this post is like an ad, but I enjoy talking with all of you guys and I just wanted to extend you this offer so that if anyone by chance is interested, you get the first dibs on ad space. If nobody is interested, sorry!!!

Interest has been really good actually and to be honest I am not thinking to sell that many ads at only $40 in the next few months.

Gorilla Nation, my ad company, says they can command $400 to $800 per newsletter! That would be insane if we could sell ads every newsletter, but that is VERY unrealistic (ever heard of all banner ads selling? They don't... 50% is not that bad). So, if I could sell maybe 8 to 10 high paying ads like that per month, umm... Wow. I'd be making a lot of money. I am not even sure that is possible.

I was talking to these guys at the Standard Internet forums and made my offer, $40 per ad, and I got three people interested out of three. An employee of the company, SI, was very interested and said, "Where do I send the money?!" and then another guy said, "Does this apply to all of us?! :)" Another said, "Well I have $20, really wish I had another $20." I may take $20 and let him pay $20 in a week or two if that is doable for him. If he fails to pay up, umm... well. Not a huge deal I suppose.

I am going to be running very intense demographic tests in the next few weeks to gather info about the newsletter users.

If anyone is interested in subscribing now, the winning person, drawn randomly from those who fill out the info (which is just simple -- gender, age group, income range, a few other simple questions -- 2 minutes max), will receive $250 cash. I am also thinking about it, but I think I will offer $50 to two other people chosen randomly also.

Anyway, so the newsletter ad sales should be going well soon! I am really happy about that. Man, if I could make $2,000 on it per month I'd be doing extremely, if I could make $3,000 or more, I would be doing INSANELY well! Although, I do believe it is worth that much, it still would be amazing...
