I seem to remember something about TSO having some relations with that world, but don't think they atually took it over, just removed its population. Or that could be another planet whose name I am confusing with this one.

Actually, I believe that was a typo on his part... should be spelled "Kashyyyk", with three Y's. :) Makes you wonder who comes up with these names.
