I wouldnt mind havin that yamato cannon thingy on a ship, a higly destructive blast, but not death star like, that can ravage enemy vessels and land based buildings without harming the planets crust...bah, but i degress

I am already thinking of ways to mesh ships.
Things like having the Yamato gun slightly less powerful, and taking out all shields and hyperdrives.
I don't see any reason not to use them, if they are properly resaerched and adjusted.
