User levels by post count is a feature an admin of a vBulletin board can either choose to use or not to. And the different effects of it are almost limitless depending on what is creatively thought of.

Davwj and I were the inspiration behind doing this as an incentive to post and build your post count to acquire the purdy stars as some are calling them, yet we do not wish to encourage posts without valid content.

Hmmmm....Havok and I kinda started around the same time. I was peeking around SWFanNet's original location and it is hard to say what his post count is. Mine was at 800. I will bet ya Havok is between 500-700ish. I know he has been away awhile. I bet you can atleast give him some kinda of credit :) ;)
