Database crash

The error we were getting, referenced in my thread at the support Forums:

Was due to a database marked as crashed.

I ran a file located in the admin directory (after I uploaded it) named repair.php, and it appears to have resolved the issue.

The database crashed again and yet again was repaired in the same manner. It would be nice to know the cause so we could figure out what to do about fixing things so that it doesn't happen again, or at least not frequently.

Maybe there is a cooruption after the database was updated with all the old SWFans threads.

Maybe the entire database needs a reload / repair of the pointers, headers and records to find it

The repair tool I have been using is the only one available to us with what our host has given us access to. It is supposed to repair and optimize all database tables.
