Could you guys move the Operation Apocalypse thread to SWFans, please? :)

Not sure exactly what you are asking for. The thread exists here at SWFans.

Actually, the search function works quite well. The fault, therefore, must lay in your human inadequacies. :)

I found it using search.

I typed in "Operation Apocalypse" and found only OOC blurbs yesterday.

I just searched all forums again, and still no actual thread. So unless you need to specifically search the bloody RP forum, it's broke.

The search tool at the top of the main forum and each forum is just what it says, a simple search. Keep your search term "simple" and it works. If you wish to do more complex searches, use the main search utility loacated along the list of button links where the control center and calendar are found.

I have added some ALT text to the "Go" button image located next to the simple search form to help clarify its function.

Told you Mr SWFans.Net. :p

Perhaps we should put an 'Advanced Search' button next to the simple search area, so people know where to go for more advanced searches.

I'm used to a search function searching all forums PROPERLY when I search, not having to switch to an advanced form to find it when I've bloody selected "search all".. *mutters* c.c

Using the simple search on the front forum page yeilds me these results when using the word "Apocalypse":

An advanced search, changing none of the options, only putting in the words "Operation Apocalypse", yeilds these results:

What is it you did, so I may attempt to recreate your problem and attempt to resolve it? As I see it, the search features are working perfectly.

Just pull the simple search feature - obviously the ungrateful posters think it's worthless. Let them find the search feature on their own. :cat

Noooo! I'm grateful! I've never used the search, but what if I need to tomorrow?! *begs and pleads* Don't pull it!

(and yes, this is LD...too lazy to switch names....but certainly not ungrateful)

This (http://liquid2k.net/tkrys/search.gif) is a screenshot taken right before I hit the "perform search" button.

These (http://liquid2k.net/tkrys/results.gif) are the resulting topics.

The results don't seem to match yours, SWFans :mneh

I typed in 'Operation Apocalypse' and got the same as you.

But when I typed in 'Apocalypse', I got more results and the threadin question was up near the top.

I get the exact same results if I type 'Apocalypse' into the simple search.

Hmmmmm ...

Try using searching for "Operation Apocalypse" in the thread title only: The way you're doing it is searching the body of the message and not the title.

We could always totally disable the search feature so it would be more smililar to ezboard in its funtionality. Would that please you Varlon?

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Hey, give our forum one thing. At LEAST he gives you the choice, instead of arbitarily removing features without notice.
