Alright, here are some things I need to ask for help on:

http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7791
Last post in the thread has a note for you.

http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7766
Second post in the thread has a strange error that carried over from Ezboard somehow. It shows up as ***. Can that be changed so that the "***" Shows up centered?

http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7785
Just want this thread archived if you don't mind. :)

http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7801
This thread also has those "" and "" errors in place of things that are supposed be centered, but only in the 3rd and 4th post...

That's all. Thanx in advance... I know it's a tall order... :\

Last one! I swear! The 11th post by Fett has the "[c]" error as well in place of centering. Also, the last post by Jeseth, in the first paragraph says:

"Turbogeek left all that time ago... Jeseth had become enraged. He murdered all of his other students, except Mordrid. Mordrid managed to evade him until he had calmed..."

Can you please replace that with:

"Turbogeek had completed his training long ago, and no longer needed a teacher. All his other students had failed him, except Mordrid - Mordrid, the puppet..."

Unfortunately I can't seem to edit my own posts that were made before the transfer... :(

Done points 2 and 4. :)

Left point 1 because I don't think I'll have time to clean it right out.

Left point 3 because I don't decide what's archivable or not (now that we have unlimited space we may get more picky about what stuff gets archived).

Fixed those 2 up as well. :)

You can't edit posts prior to the move because they are listed as 'Guest' and vB reads them as another user from yourself.

Thanx a bunch! I found this at Roleplaying and was wondering if it shold be deleted or moved to OOC? It's basically an OOC discussion:

And here's a note for Resanul:

Post to that when you get a chance... :)

Since you have unlimited space, shouldn't everything that gets completed be archived or something? It would be neat if you did archival only by request. That would keep a lot of incomplete threads from ever being tossed in there...

Moved the thead over to OOC. :)

As for the archive, well I have really no idea. On the one hand you could do it as you said and archive everything that gets finished (I don't know what you mean about unfinished stuff - as far as I'm aware the archive only contains completed roleplays, but then again I've been out of the loop for over 6 months).

On the other hand, we could simply leave the archive for the 'classic' type threads that everyone loves and enjoys (don't ask me how to define that - it's only an idea at this time). Since all the forums now have unlimited pages there's no longer any threat of roleplays disappearing in all the normal forums so they could be left where they are.

The underlying problem either way is that on the old board the archive was used as a 'safe storage' facility more than anything else to prevent stuff being lost - regardless of what it was. Now we have more space than we know what to do with and we've now got to figure out how we wish to use all that space in determinig what gets put where.

So many questions. :\

Well, that's a good point, the only problem is that when you consider only putting the good RPs in the archive, it can start becoming biased and all that, or even unfair to others who feel left out. I personally like going with the approach of archiving stuff by request, since I do remember there being some stuff put into the archive to serve as a safehold as you said, but it wasn't finnished or anything.

I'm just offering feedback, so I hope it doesn't sound like I'm trying to tell you how to do your job or anything like that. :)

No, not at all :). And that thing about the archive holding only 'classic' stuff been possibly biased or elitist is another good point.

That's why at this stage we've pretty much left the archive as is. The only thing we've done is moved the last 5-6 pages of it back into the Roleplaying forum (all were challenges with 0 views to them - doubt anyone is going to miss them).

It could make an interesting discussion to find out everyone's thoughts on the matter.

I took care of number 1 for you. However, for future referance: I think it's unfair to ask a Mod/Admin to go back and edit 10,000 posts because they happen to have a [c] tag in them. I imagine there are quite a few posts like this, and he/she couldn't possibly spare the time to fix them all. You've read the post, you know what's there, so what does it matter?

And about the archive: There's no real need to archive anything at all any longer, since threads do not get deleted after page 20. Additionally, the "Search" feature here actually works, so it's simple to find any thread at all.

Sorry, I guess I was just a bit picky about those since they were still active, but I won't ask anyone to do that to any of my archived ones though. Thanx for indulging me this once...

Ooooh! A search feature that works! ;; Goes to try it. ;;

ps: Does this look like a frying pan to anyone else? :spank

Do you think we should get rid of the archive altogether then?

I think if we keep it up and running people are going to expect their roleplays to be archived. If we're not going to bother anymore it might pay to put all the archive topics back into the normal forums.

I was thinking that that should be an option, yes. Just something to consider.
