Reduce avatars to 150x150?

I've been going around the forum, and I've discovered that any avatar that exceeds 165 pixels in width starts spreading into the post field.

I've since done a search of all avatars that I could find, and I could only find a handful of people that have avatars exceeding 150x150 pixels in size.

Think we should knock it down a bit? Even 160x160 should be ok.

180x180 is too big I think. Check out the Razmeister thread for Malbona's avatar - it's 180x180 and it's HUGE:

Yeah, I was tossing this idea around. However - Anyone who currently has an Avatar that exceeds 150x150 will not be effected by the new limit.

True, but we could go and manually change them ourselves. As I mentioned above, only a handful of people have avatars exceeding 150x150 (you could count them on one hand).

We could also just post an announcement asking for people to reduce them if they exceed that size.

Too bad we can't set the maximum height different from the width: 100px high isn't too bad, while a 100px wide is. :\

I've also just changed the options for 150x150 pics only.

Now we should we just post an announcement, or manually do it ourselves?

Doing it manually sounds like the simplest solution.

And I think the easiest way to update the image would be to have Ogre upload it to his site.

I have sigs disabled (you roleplayers are sig crazy), but I leave the avatars on so the posts are distinguishable from each other. :)
