Hello everybody!
No need to explain the shock and horror that we all feel in light of the last day's events. I have had a very difficult time, waiting to see if my cousin was alive and well (he is), and wishing that there was something that I could do. Well, a suggestion, if I might...
We can all (those of age) give blood. That has been addressed in the news, and I would recommend it, if you have not done so already.
But more to our community... There is a lot of money here, as we all know, (whether in the form of cash, or "investments" :) ) and I was thinking... I am going to do some auctions of some items, and donate 100% of the proceeds to the American Red Cross, earmarking it for help in this tragedy. I thought that I might share this suggestion with some of you who want to do something, but feel due to distance/lack of medical or emergency training that you can't do much. I know that living here in Logan, Utah, I am almost as far removed as can be, but I want to help.
Just my two cents. But I hope that it helps someone.
