Spent most of the night in the real world tonight, but thought I'd come by and buy a round for my virtual pals....

Latest acquisitions (pictures to follow):

Modified Heiland (SDS modified -- clean and sweet, as one might expect)

Seventh Voyage of Sinbad Cyclops action figure (articulated and painted better than most kits I've seen -- a Tower records exclusive).

Reservoir Dogs Michaeal Madsen figure (Mr. What Color Again? -- I just think he looks bad-ass)

Dinky SHADO Mobile (got it for a song on eBay)

Licensed Battlestar pistol (should arrive in the next day or so -- review will follow)

*****

Also, I have a rebel blaster coming soon, from a certain member who recently created the most definitive version. Details will follow.

*****

BTW, does anyone else use BearShare? I just discovered it. It's better than Napster used to be....

*****

OK, let's do some late night partying...it's been a hell of a week, and I need to lighten up after driving past a partially destroyed Pentagon for three days straight....

*****

Prayers and positive thoughts for the victims and loved ones of the recent calamity. Buy a flag, donate some blood, but don't hate/discriminate against innocent Arabs/Muslims....

I'll join in John. Donated to the Red Cross, my flag has been outside flying and will do so until the last victim's body is recovered, and I've watched the nation come together in a way not seen for a very long time.

A toast then [grabs Grape Nehi]:

To the men and women who perished at coward's hands and the families who mourn.

To the men and women who perished trying to save all the people they could.

To the men and women who have been digging for four nights non-stop.

To the men and women who will soon exact revenge.

A toast to those men and women, of all walks of life, all religions, and all creeds, who have one thing in common...

...they are Americans.

Let me buy a round! Whatever you guys want.

For me it was both a joyous and sad week. The recent events make for an onimous backdrop. But, my son was just born, which is a life-changing and joyous event for us, to say the least....

<passes out montecristos to everyone present>.

I've been messing around with Altavista's translation function. Interesting stuff.

Lessee... Got another (non-serious) proj. going: a can of SHARK B-GON shark repellant. Drew up a lot of design-related stuff for that. :) ...

Poked around CZ's site: very nice.

You've already woken up? My goodness. I don't envy you the task of paying the monthly bills. I've already done that and done a bit of redecorating as well. I must admit the new carpet is glorious but it is getting quite late for me.

*edited because my spelling is suffering at this hour. ;)

Beer to all.

Now that the round is out of the way....I've used bearshare for awhile now, three or four months now. I've had a hard time connecting to any servers from them. I've moved to limewire, kind of the same type of thing only I have better luck with them. I check download.cnet.com/ (http://download.cnet.com/) once and awhile and look for new MP3 utilities, then sort them by popularity and see what people are using as utilities, and figure the more the marry. That's how I found both of the above.

Best of luck.

Hi, MJ. So far, BearShare has worked pretty well for me. But I'll check out LimeWire.
