View Full Version : Good paint choice for Mauled M9 flash hiders (Pic)

The wingnut on my real M9 flash hider would tighten down in the vertical position, instead of horizontal as shown in the SW Chronicles.

I painted a spacer washer for mine with this paint I had leftover from a recent project on my car.

I bought this in a Napa store probably a year ago. I'm sure it's still being made.

The pic is so-so, but the washer underneath the wingnut shows the CastBlast paint an incredible match.

FWIW, the pic of the GK's M9 in the VD indicates that the M9 was painted silver (?) and weathered...but if you want to recreate the original paintscheme of an original M9, try the CastBlast paint.

i didn't know about it being painted silver on the real gun... is that confirmed? if it is, mauled's customers don't even have to paint it! :p
