Cool custom, David. Nice to see your skills at work on an action figure!

I just popped the ball off and stuck the real head in the hole, no big deal.
I am still trying to get the knee pads straps to stick to the armor and I am trying to straighten out the Braids.
Any suggestions?

One drop of Krazy Glue on each side of the pads and gently holding the strap to it worked for me... :)
Held strongly in place as I pulled the elastic back far enough to pull the pads on and up to the knees.

Don't know what the Marmit braids are made of, but typically hair-like fibers can be straighted over a little steam.

Now you need an Aurra Sing Barbie to go with that Boba Fett Ken. :)
That is a really cool figure, though.

I was looking for a young Jeremy Bulloch and this guy look the most like him.
He is the "Operation: Mako Shark" figure from the "GI Joe 2010" series.
The best part is he has scars on his face :)

I had seen in Tomart's AFD, someone made a custom unmasked Boba Fett from a POTF fig. The head was completely scared and deformed. I'll have to dig out the one I made like that and post a pic.

Hmmm, something disturbing about this phrase . . .
"I just popped the ball off and stuck the real head in the hole" ;)
Seriously though, it looks great and Marmits are simply awesome.

Sweet! Use superglue to glue the straps on, that did it for me. I thought I finally had my completely together, but tonight I saw that tha @!#$(!* backpack fell of again! I even used heavy duty doublesided tape!
As for the braids, mine kind of straightened out by just sitting on the figure.

Hi bobadebt,
You did a great job on the figure!
And the pic is nice as well.http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons/smile.gif
Here are my custom troopers,
I cut about 80% of the "white ball" to fit the head from
Hasbro Luke and Han figure,
But I think the neck part is to long for Luke.http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons/ohwell.gif

David, I second (or maybe third by now) the superglue plan for the elastic. Worked perfectly for me.
Jason, that goes for you too with your backpack! :)
As for the wookie scalps... umm... hairspray?
Actually, I just smoothed them out with my fingers.

that picture needs a caption like "Hi, I'm Bobba Fett. I know, Im a intergalactic bounty hunter. But that doesn't mean I ignore personal hygene...I'm a pretty boy."

hahah i was thinking nearly the same thing, cept mine were a bit different.
"I know what you're thinking. He's a bounty hunter, he's fought and killed and collected more bounties than anyone else, and he's the best he is at what he does... but does that all really matter when you fail to make a first impression... I use head and shoulders..."
"Hi. I'm Boba. I'm here to pick up Candice for the prom"
and last but not least
"Conan O'Boba!"
awesome work as usaul BD. i like it.

I used a dollop of araldite for my kneepad elastics, and it worked a treat. Solid as can be. For the braids, I rubbed the ends gently with fine sandpaper to make them look a little more hairlike. They tended to straighten out by themselves.

Would anyone who has the Marmit Fett mind taking photographs of the greeblies outside the left gauntlet? The actual photograps and screen caps of these doo-dads are very few and poor.

Hey Jedifather....Fett's kinda cute:)
Very nice job though, and I checked out your other figs. I Love the Thrawn! especially the fact that it is before the actual figure.

Can you tell that I used the head from the same character for the Boba Fett and the Thrawn?
I don't remember the name, but it was the villain from Dragonheart.
Wedge, is a "Biggs" body with a "Dash Rendar" head (just had to give him a shave).
