Anyone have pics from Dragon*Con Star Wars costume contest?

Hey gang,

Both Bluefive and I were judges for the Star Wars costume contest at Dragon*Con. Did anyone who attended the costume contest take pics?

Good luck! I was in the contest and based on the number of people who came up to me afterwards and wanted a picture because they "didn't get one during the contest", I am wondering if anyone got good shots.

The room layout certainly didn't lend itself to photo taking. It was a long, narrow room with the entrance in the middle of one long wall. Add a narrow aisle for the contestants and we were walking on each others costumes during the mass parade.

I was standing at the end of one of the "catwalks" (heehee) so I got a ton of them...but I was juggling three cameras at the time and have no idea *what* I got pics of on my own camera. They'll be developed in a couple days, I'll scan and slap 'em up somewhere and let you know.

My buddy John's friend was filming the event for Gerogia Tech...he said he'd give a copy to my buddy to give to me.
When I get it, I'll let y'all know. I'll also get some copies of pics from my friends that were in the audience. I would really like to see when I won the "Technical Achievement" award for Jango Fett as well as clowning around with Eric in his Jango costume. I think this was one hell of a way to get into costuming. This was both the first time I have been at a con in costume as well as the first contest I've been in and first ward I have won.:)

Boy do I wish I could have gone to Dragon Con this year! Next year for sure. There was a council full of Jedi at the World SF Convention in Philly, including a Corrillian Jedi with an awsome, breakapart, saber he lathed himself. Our costume group won best Master in the masquerade. It included a whole bunch of bad Darth Maul puns. Star Wars rules!
