Does anyone have a carded ESB Boba Fett? I would like to get a high quality (300-600dpi), uncompressed scan of the pic of Fett on the right hand side of the card. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Below is the card I a referring to.

I might have a larger image of it from my vintage 12" Fett figure box. I'll have to go digging...

how ironic. that's the one figure i'm brokering for my friend. it's sitting on the shelf behind me. i'd be happy to scan it for you.

uh... maybe i'm missing something but it looks like you already have an image of the card.

Doug, meet Braksbuddy--

He wants everything to be in the HIGHEST resoultion possible so that he can see the most minute details of everything. A studioscale Fettbuilder extraordinaire! When anyone scans for him, be sure to set the JPEG compression to the best quality (least compression) you can, and scan at 600dpi!

You should have it scanned in TIFF instead of JPEG. Bigger size but much better quality!

jose - now you tell me! ;)

the jpg came out... okay. the quality isn't that great when the image is blown up at full size. i'll rescan the card and see if my software will allow me to save it in a different format.

Ha! Thanks for that interesting introduction , TK1028. You certainly know how to make me "shine."

Bluefive, yeah I have an image already but it comes from the small photo in the Action Figure Archive. I would much rather have the real deal as I see some interesting things already... bet you do too, TK1028... and would like to see them in the best detail possible.

TIFF is definitely the way to go, but most of the time I settle for JPG with the least compression as TIFF is so much larger.

BTW, TK1028, I am almost done working on the Chronciles and Action Figure Archive pics you sent. They were AWESOME!

how large do you want the picture to be as far as pixel size? even at 2400 dpi, i'm seeing alot of graininess if the picture is much larger than 1000 pixels wide.

600 DPI should be good enough for what I am trying to see. Thanks man!!

BB that pic is quite a bit larger on the box of the vintage 12" Fett from Kenner. You would be better getting a scan from that box. I'll see what I can get from mine later tonight. My scanner is kinda old, but the box is in good shape. -Mark

I should get the scan hopefully by midnight cst tonight. And I'm narrowing down the air cylinder for the flame thrower, as well as a possible source for the gauntlet darts that are similar to dremel bits. -Mark

Hmmm... the 12inch... Is that the one from 97? I thought that had a different pic on it. Oh well...

Thanks Brandon, that's quite a collection, but we can't see those really neat wires in that tiny shot. To my knowledge this is the only pic that shows a wire on the right side (where Jeremy told me the switch to the chest display was) going up to the chest, and a wire running from the helmet to the chest.

This pic was on the "Star Wars" packaging, the "ESB" packaging, and even the early "RoTJ" packaging of the Kenner action figure.

Helm, there is also a good shot of the belly on the 1995 PoTF Fett packaging. But again, these are shots of the second version of the preproduction suit and there are excellent shots of this suit, just turn to Chronicles page 128.

Interesting to note that in those pics you can see the electronics wire hanging from the helmet.

BB check your mail for the pics.
TK the pic is from 1978 or so.
Yeah you can see the wire real clear on the 12" figure box.

Wow, on Mark's scans yopu can clearly see the white
cord that runs from the backpack over the shoulder and up into the helmet.

Hey Blufive - take good care of my ESB Fett buddy!! :)

Wouldn't want any peanut butter & jelly fingerprints or ABS glue smears around the edges! ;)
