Well I just got my hands on what has to be the 2 BEST (original) props I will ever own.

Go to any hardware store and get KRUD KUTTER. It's an organic formula that will take off damn near anything. It's safe on the skin too. When I was in the house painting business, we used it to get the overspray off the trucks without hurting the finish on the trucks. It also took off the stuff that had baked on in the sun for 2-3 years.
