Congratulations! and thanks to everyone for your participation. This was really fun. I have other items that i might consider raffling in the near future.



update: ok---here is the final word on the auction. it will end by tomorrow night at 10pm EST (regardless of payment by the last 2 non paying guys). I am going to cut tickets off at 20 now........so if we get 4 more paid tickets (by anyone) the drawing will be held at that time. in any case though.....a winner will be anounced by 10pm EST tomorrow...perhaps earlier depending on ticket sales



.....so if anyone wants to snatch up the last four non paid slots we will do it right now!



update: drawing was supposed to be 45 minutes ago (midnight) but several members have not sent money yet. tickets will remain on well until all names listed below have paid for their tickets. i will not be able to check on payments again until wednesday 7pm or so EST. hopefully we will have all payments in by then and will be able to pick a name out of a hat.


update: The auction is tentatively on and the winner will be drawn at midnight assuming that all Paypal payments have been received by then..............tickets will remain available until midnight. no limit on tickets or per person.

update: Here is the way we will do this. Raffle tickets are $15. I will start a list here. If you want to buy a ticket you will need to email me: obi1knobi@home.com

I will then add you to the list. IF we get a list of ticket of 15 or more ticket buyers, i will put all tickets (literally) in a hat and draw a name. you can buy as many tickets as you want. the winner will be drawn on 9/18/01 and the GRAFLEX will be mailed out the next morning.

after we hit 15 people i will post here for you all to PAYPAL me........ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE BY PAYPAL

I have a Graflex 3-cell I am going to let go of. It is in great shape, but i need to put the money toward other projects. Suppose I sold raffle tickets for $15............. could i find 15 or so takers or should i go on to ebay with this? If there is adequate interest i wll take pictures of this and post them ....................................... I paypal'ed ya, obee1...thanks for doing this. I think raffling off graflexes is a great idea...it actually helps everyone. I feel like I have a much better chance of getting a good-priced graflex doing this than on Ebay. I've been wanting a graflex since I was 7, and I'm 33 now. I hate to jinx it, but I'm a little giddy at the chance of winning!

That wouldn't be totally fair. If they see they didn't win, they probaly say they don't want to be in after all, meaning less money for Obee1. Tell them to pay before a specific time or they won't be in.

The most fair thing to do, is draw names until my name comes up :lol: ;)

but, if you feel compelled to draw a name, id give them till midnight tonight to get the payment to you, and if they dont, they are out of the raffle. honestly, 2 days is long enough for someone to check the board to see if they owe money for a ticket or not.
