OK...the shrouds themselves are machined. I am currently waiting on the small plugs that cover the screw holes to be machined. Machining these to universally fit plumbing tubes, GR tubes, and other things that are available out there is a challenge. I have a few GR tubes and a few Graflex tubes---there are slight variations in each of them with regard to fit of the shroud. In light of this, i have elected to leave the shrouds very tight fitting (an perhaps too tight to initially fit down on the tube). I will send along some instructions on where to make a quick (take every bit of 30 seconds) adjustment so that is is custon fit to you tube. and i will actually mark the area on the shroud with a marker.

These pieces have not been polished and i don't think there is any sense in spending time on that for those of you who are painting your shrouds (i am painting mine for accuracy). I will be anodizing mine as an undercoat and will then paint over it.

I need to hear from the below list of people. you have requested anodized shrouds. are you going to paint over them for accuracy or will that be your final finish?

2-JD-pilot:----------Painting
3-Yoda Killer

6-Sink Tube Jedi
7-Tk421mv7-------Paint

11-Jedi Dave???? what type of finish?

here is what my shroud looks like after about 30 minutes of dremmel work to round off some of the edges:
