man, just once... id like to see a villain in a marvel movie HAVE THE SAME FRIGGIN COSTUME AS HE HAS IN THE COMICS THAT MADE HIM FAMOUS.

purple clothes and a bag may not be the worlds greatest fashion accessories, but hes a goblin dammit. not a gargoyle.

I kinda like it. I think I've seen pics of the Goblin in some kinda green that he wears over the armour along with a cloak. Can't recall for sure though

maybe he has some sort of purple armor that goes over that too. You know how in the movies sometimes the villans or heros get rid of their capes or outer armor and have a really sleek looking suit on under that? maybe that's what we're seeing.

That was my initial reaction, too. Maybe he'll be in purple garb and the pic just shows him without the goodies. Wishful thinking???

I am a huge spiderman fan and have been since I was a tyke, this doesn't bother me, in fact I am happy they stayed as closer to the story then they did that hunk of crap X-men. Also honestly if I was going to be a villian, I'd want more then a Latex mask, ren fair boots and a hat all the idiots at woodstock II were wearing..

I liked x-men. Enjoyable and humorous in a lot of parts. But I DON'T like this goblin costume. Without the hat and the cloak, he's not the goblin.

I think the only costume that was better than the ones in the comics that was in a movie was Batman. Dark and mean looking. Everything Batman was supposed to be (until George Clooney, anyway...)

That SUCKS!!! I'm not really a Spidey fan, but, if you're going to do an adaptation, at least keep some similarities to the original.
