E2 spoiler and active project!!!!!

well ive been wanting to do something like this for quite awhile now and finally got around to posting about it :)

there are some spoilers below so be warned!































this is zam wesell's hand gun from E2. the scans were given to me by a fellow board member quite awhile ago (thanks :) )
and i have been looking for the darn razor knife thing that makes up the handle forever! what i want to do is offer some of the parts and have you guys help me figure out what this gun was made from and then find the parts and make some of these! :) its not a real cool looking gun but it IS a new bounty hunter weapon and i want one!! :)

wow, I hope that is not actually going to be in the film, so far I have not been impressed with the props in EP II, am I crazy?

yeah i know :) this is the worst of the props i have scans of (next to the training saber!) but it looked like it would be fun to figure out what went into making it. it doesnt look that hard. i have some ideas on most of the parts but ill let you guys guess for awhile and see if im close or not ;)

Looks like it fires those suckers that stick to the walls. Again not a wonderful design IMHO, these props look exactly for all the world like sci-fi props. Would be at home in a Doctor Who episode :lol:

You have to remember.... the Skywalker family saber.... It was a friggin' camera flash.... and so were ALL of the Darth Vader sabers.

LFL couldn't even keep just ONE version of the Solo blaster the same throughout the entire OT.

I built two JF pistols for my Jango costume. They were built from a water faucet valve, wooden dowel, aluminum tubing, PVC sprinkler pipe, a stubby screwdriver, sintra, and some hardware.:) I didn't have time to make a resin cast before DC:(
Zam's pistol would be a lot easier to do because of it's basic shape. I have to agree with Jedi135 that the handle for Zam's pistol looks a lot like a box cutter.:lol:
