[Fleet: Imperial Expeditionary Force]
[After intertwinement of forces, naboo]
Khendon’s metal reinforced military issue boots clank against the suspended catwalk’s surface as he moves into position. A young officer, can’t be more then nineteen, walks up to Khendon and taps him on the shoulder, hands light and bony for the lad is gaunt and tall, looming over Khendon’s form like an oat tree. “Yes, lad.”
“Sir, two minutes until we’re out of hyperspace, we could sure use you on the bridge to prep. the crew and plans.”
“Once I have a talk with the ground forces and pilots I’ll go back up, now go back to your duties.”
“Aye, Sir.” The officer gives a military salute and walks away.
“Today, we shall embark on a quest. This quest shall only last a few, painful hours. Many of you may not come back, as is the gruesome fact of combat. I would like to take this moment to tell you, men, that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. We are, or better be, one of the hardest working small fleets in the empire. Your courage and valor has won the Galactic Military Alliance two planets of great importance! We’ll, men, this fight shall be the big one, enemy fleet looks to be of around our size or greater. I’m not lying to you, the odds are we’ll win, but we expect 20-50% casualties.” The men didn’t speak, just looked at each other. Over the period of time it took Khendon to take the two planets they had learned to trust him, none would speak a bad word about him, especially in the next few hours.

Khendon, now in the bridge, sits down in his command chair looking at the bright-eyed officers going about their business. “As soon as we’re out, I want five of our Tie Defender squadrons to launch, they’ll escort the Carrack Cruisers into battle. Have our Victories launch their fighter complements of Tie Defenders to guard themselves, 72 fighters. Our escort carriers are to stay back once we come out. I want two of them to launch all of their Tie Defenders, 144 fighters, and have them take up positions around our Interdictor. Have another launch its Tie Defenders, 74, and have them assigned to the Dreadnaught forces. Dreadnaughts should be in a claw formation, Carracks in a sphere, and all others in the main V. I want the Interdictor to stay in the middle of the V so we can watch it and make sure nothing happens to it; tell it to activate grav. wells. Have the Dreadnaughts launch their fighters, 84 Tie Defenders, and assign them to guard the Dreads. Have the Interdictor hold its fighters, twelve Tie Defenders. All others are to hold fighters. We shall have the advantage of surprise, organization, and fighter superiority.

Khendon’s massive fleet comes out of hyperspace, scanners at full. “Sir,” one of the officers says, “we have confirmation of the enemies fleet in the sector.”
“Read them out, soldier.”
“Aye, Sir. Five Victory Star Destroyers, ten Lancer Frigates, three Assassin Class Corvettes, two Strike Class Cruisers. That’s all that are in the system.”
“Hmm… this may be difficult, maybe not. We have to play this one right. Give me locations.”
“Two Victories closing from the moon, two closing from the planet, another isn’t moving, it’s waiting near the planet.”
“Give me the group closest to use’s status.”
“They’ll be here in five minutes. Consisting of… Two Victories, four Lancers, One Assasin, one Strike. All fighters of theirs have been launched, total of 66 assorted X-wings, Y-wings, and Headhunters.”
“Assign our Dreadnaught formation the task of taking them out. Supreme caution.”
“Understood.” The officer went to work immediately, contacting and giving orders.

Several minutes later the Dreadnaught formation and enemy mix are pounding each other. The Dreadnaughts have broken into two groups, one of four the other of three.
Both groups aim for the Lancers, taking fire from all directions. Weapons unleash and smash through the unprepared ships hulls, unable to withstand attacks of such power. Khendon grins as he sees the enemy Lancers’ shields go down as more energy erupts from the Dreadnaughts causing cavernous holes to form in each enemy Lancer until they’re nothing but space junk.

“Now, attack the enemy Victories, one at a time. Group one aim for the first one and group two the next. Have your fighters concentrate on them as well.” Khendon screams over the comm. as the ships obey his orders.
“Sir, second enemy formation will be here in five minutes, what should we do?”
“Have the Carrack and us move in for the kill.”
“Aye, Sir.”
The ships move towards the enemy, two minutes until contact.

As the second forces clash the first forces manage to take the shields down on one of the Victories.
“This is Dreadnaught #3, we’re badly damaged, shields will be down in a couple of minutes. Taking heavy fire.”
“Evac. to the rear with the Interdictor. Leave your fighters in the battle.”
“Will do, Dreadnaught #3, breaking formation.”
Just as the Dreadnaught breaks formation the first enemy Victory’s hull is punctured by the concentrated blasts of the first Dreadnaught group.
“Hull integrity failing on enemy ship, life support systems down. We got them, nothin’ but space junk!” The Dreadnaught crews cheer but it is short lived, the third Dreadnaught explodes as Tie Defenders comes out of nowhere and fire upon the retreating ship.
“Sir! More enemy fighters, Tie Defenders!? Seventy-two of them.”
“What? Order 72 of the fighters guarding the Interdictor to close and engage enemy fighters, I want them dead. Have our Carracks launch recon squads and try to find out where they came from.”
“Yes, Read Admiral.”
The Dreadnaught group that destroyed the Victory changes their target to the remaining Victory, already without shields. A total of six Dreadnaughts, three heavily modified, fire upon the ship, blasting holes everywhere. One of the blasts hits the enemy bridge, then the reactor, and then the engines. The ship is engulfed in a brilliant explosion pushing some of the Dreads backwards as it succumbs to the mighty Dreadnaught force. They concentrate their fighters on the swarming enemy fighters. The six Dreads start firing upon the enemy Strike Cruiser as another is forced to flee to the safety of the main fleet.
Back at the larger battle Khendon’s ship shakes violently as the enemy concentrates full fire upon it. His Carrack cruisers reek havoc on the enemy Assassin and Strike Cruiser, taking them out of the action easily.
Fighters from all over knock out the lancers, even though they’re anti-fighter ships they’re not effective against hundreds of fighters pouring on them from all directions with advanced proton torpedoes loaded.
Khendon’s main ship knocks the shields out on one of the Victories and all weapons are concentrated on it, powerful energy blasts ripping through shields.

The Dreadnaughts finish cleaning up, destroying the Strike and Assassin easily, and begin moving towards the battle Khendon’s ISD3 is engaged in, fighters reaching the location first.
Khendon smiles as the first of the two Victories keels over in a bright explosion, damaging the other Victory whom was to close. The mass of fighters and ships pounds the Victory, shields fail almost instantly. The ship starts retreating but the ISD3’s huge guns knock out its engines as they fire relentlessly. The ship shakes for a moment, and then explodes. Two enemy fleets gone, one to go.
“I want the Victories escorted by the Carracks, marauder, and 144 fighters to move on the enemy fleet, not including the escort fighters.”
“As you command, Admiral.”

“Sir, ships coming out of hyperspace; four Dreadnaughts, standard armaments, one Imperial Escort Carrier, and one enforcer class cruiser. They’re behind us sir! Attacking the interdictor!”
“Reroute the Dreadnaughts, Carracks, and us over to that position. I want all fighters not in combat or with the detachment to attack the enemy Carrier before it can launch its fighters. How long till our ships can engage, fighters and larger?”
“The fighters will take forty seconds, it’ll take us two minutes with such major damaged.”
“We have a large amount of fighters already there, have them take out the enemy carrier, launch from our remaining carrier, it has 72 scimitars, they should take out the enemy with precision.”
“It’ll take time for them to launch, Sir.”
“That’s why we have the other one hundred or so fighters attack.”
“Aye, Sir!”
The fighters zoom into combat, others engage as the mighty capital ships and cruisers of all sorts move to attack the new enemy fleet.
As this happens the last enemy Victory, Strike Cruiser, Lancers, and Assassin, meets the detachment. They both open fire upon each other, devastating blasts of color ramming into each ship.
“I want the Victories to aim for the hostile Victory, the Carracks and marauders will take out the remaining forces.”
“Transmission sent, Sir.”

The Interdictor powers down its Grav. Wells and transfers the energy to shields and weapons as power surges erupt through the ship. Khendon’s flagship and assorted fleet makes it over to the enemies, Escort Carrier now destroyed by a myriad of fighters firing upon it.
Khendon smiles and gives an order, “Have fire redirected to enemy Dreadnaughts. All ships open fire on them, I want them down as soon as possible.”
“Command relayed.”
Fire from Khendon’s flagship slams into one of the Dreadnaughts elderly shields as the ship’s shape looms over the battle. “Divide our fire between two Dreadnaughts, we should take them out relatively quickly.”
“As you command.”
One of the enemy Dreadnaughts erupts and blows apart, damaging the enemy formation of Dreadnaughts. Khendon’s flagship takes down another and yet another. One remaining, they all pounce; shields out, engines out, systems dead, life support gone.
Khendon smiles, it took several minutes for his fleet to take them out, but, it happened. “Fire upon the enemy Enforcer.”
As all hell broke lose, the enemy ships blew up, escape pods launching before it blew, of course. “They scuttled the ship! Launch armed shuttles to retrieve the pods and have the captured troops brought aboard my ship, bring us to the planet in the mean time.”
“Yes, Sir.”
Back at the Victories the battle is going well. They have managed to disable the enemy Victory, launched boarding crew, and are well on their way to the planet now, several minutes until they can take the planet by ground force.

The Victories enter atmosphere and unload their troops.
After several minutes of loading the final ground count is as follows: 6,000 Storm Troopers, 20 AT-ATs , 60 AT-STs, 100 Speeder Bikes.
Khendon’s ship is almost ready to begin unloading its troops.

Khendon’s ship unloads its troops and the landing party is now as follows:
16,000 Storm Troopers, 40 AT-ATs, 90 AT-STs, 200 Speeder Bikes. Khendon smiles as his forces begin the move on the enemy capital.

As Khendon’s ground forces enter the mighty capital city of Kapor they are greeted by rows and rows of troops, weapons stacked in heaps, they have surrendered.
As reports from the planet comes in Khendon smiles, ground forces weren’t needed to take this planet, just a show of naval power. As Khendon turns to talk to one of his officers another alert is broadcasted, “Sir, three enemy Victory II Class Star Destroyers just came out of hyperspace behind us, they’re hailing!”
“This is Captain Zivorki, I have come to surrender my fleet to you, my planet has fallen.” The man onscreen looks down in a sad way.
“We accept your surrender, and that of your planets.”
Planet has submitted to GMA rule.
Khendon’s ISD3 lands a planetary shield, it is activated and the fleet awaits further orders as they form up into a formation. Scrap from the battle floats everywhere, salvageable ships also float among the wreckage, along with hundreds of escape pods.
