The Inauguration Of Inevitability

Garrett Blade makes his way along a reasonably crowded corridoor, respectfully acknowledging the more higher ranking officers with a nod as he did. The air was damp and clammy, and there wasn't a dry brow on any of the people he saw along the way- But what else can be expected at this depth below sea level?-he thought to himself.

Finally he came to his personal quarters and turned into the opening as the doors slid open with a whoosh and the moment Garrett had stepped inside he stopped dead in his tracks, once the doors were shut there was complete silence as he stood motionless, but his face gesturing some degree of shock and suprise.

"Greetings Garrett, sorry for making this brief but as short as my leave was, I have returned, it is time..."

"...and it is because of those unwelcomed guests I am back. I sense it, the preparation, the tension and the anxiety, they are getting ready for something and we must be ready."

Gav stands from his seat, walks around the table and makes his way towards the doors before that, he stops and turns to Garrett; "We better make our way to Zeus Control, we have to alert the fleet. It is already in it's assigned defensive deployment and will be ready but we have to make sure we are prepaered for anything."

Garrett nods and accompanies him out of the room and out into the corridoor where they make their way towards the nearest turbolift.
