Alone+Easy Target (open challenge)

[Pierce Tondry]

(ooc) Normally, I'd simply bump my last challenge thread and ask Gue if he wanted to face me since Vega hasn't replied to that. On the other hand, I didn't get the kind of response I was hoping for with that thread, so I've kind of decided to kill the idea for now. If anyone wants to have a fight with Tondry, post here. I'll accept the first three people that post, for a kind of free-for-all type fight. Setting will be Tatooine, Beggar's Canyon: Bluffs area. A downed land transport is in a wreck just outside the canyon's entrance, ostensibly the reason arriving challengers are in the area.

[Ash Longbaugh]

::Ash reaches the edge on the Canyon, and pulls out some binoculars. Peering through them, he sees what had made all the commotion. A wrecked transport, probably a repulserlift problem/ Best look for survivers. Ash checks he has everything. Two Pistols, Lightsaber, Pump action blaster rifle. Taking a deep breath, Ash begins to jog down::

Satine drives his swoop through the canyons on Tatooine, enjoying himself, until he sees a smoke plume coming from the north. His armor forms onto him, and he uses the macrobinoculars in his helemt to see.

Satine stops his swoop, and takes out his weapons belt, two lightsabres instead of three, having one stolen by Naga in a fight earlier, a tanto dagger, and the Satine straps on two disruptor rifles to his back. Starting up the swoop again with a roar, Satine heads towars the crashed shuttle.

Pierce spots two people approaching the downed transport through his macrobinoculars. One of them he recognizes as a person named Alpha, though he isn't sure if that name is still in use. The other one, is one he doesn't know. That one is much closer.

Pierce twirls his flechette pistol on one finger and stands atop his bluff. "Looking for something?" he shouts down to the man with the blaster rifle that looks like it has a pump piece attached. "I can assure you, there's no one alive on board. I checked."

The man pauses. "How do you know?"

Pierce grins and raises the flechette pistol, slowly approaching the man and being sure to head towards areas of the slope where he can take cover. "I killed them," Pierce answers, firing off an A/B flechette and ducking behind a boulder.

[Jeseth Cloak]

Smoke burst up from the wreck as a hand pushed it's way through the shattered hull of the downed transport. Jeseth had arranged a visit to Tatooine for the sake of investigate whatever was left of Obi-Wan Kenobi's house--He had long heard tales of the great Jedi Master, and he knew that if there was anything left, it may be of great value or power. He had come prepaired to kill ever Tusken tribe within miles of the dead man's home for whatever artifacts they might have stolen ages ago; They usually horded such things among themselves, never letting go of property, always keeping it within the their species' filthy grasp.

He wiped the ash away from his face, examening his surroudings. He had somehow ended up underneath the mass of the ship durring the impact, but nothing was broken... Was it luck? Perhaps not. He knew someone had killed off all the other passengers, though it was of little concern to him--The passangers weren't going to be of much help to him in the long run.

Heat began to cover his body in waves as he drew his saber up, spotting someone standing on the bluff ahead of him. He sensed two others approaching and ignited Disorder, a shot echoing through the canyon.

Satine hears a gun go off, with his helmet's enhanced hearing, and pushes the swoop past the redlines, and doubling his speed. Soon he is close enough to see Toundry, and ignites his golden sabre with a snap-hiss. Alpha jumps off the swoop right by the enemy, and says, "Hello again..."

Jeseth dashes up to the elvation quickly, flipping into the rock just as Satine lands by the new opponent. He regards them both as their eyes are drawn towards him and swings his saber at their heads.

Better safe than sorry...

Satine swipes for Jeseth's feet, but he suammer-saults forward and twists in mid air, facing them as he lands on his feet. Tondry takes aim for him, but almost as quickly Jeseth kicks the gun off to the side, and a shot goes off towards Satine.

Satine hisses in pain as the shot scores a glancing blow against his armor. The, currently, rouge Jedi, recovers quickly, and his wings form into their battle state, armor covering the delicate angel-style bio-tech wings. Satine gets into a battle stance, his helmet sliding away, as he wonders which opponent to attack first...

[Jeseth Cloak]

Jeseth's eyes glinted at he noticed his opponent's bio-tect wings; His own wings flexed, white feathers glaring in the sun, reflecting light back into Satine's eyes. He could sense this one's alignment easily: He was a walker of the light, or at the very least, still deciding between destinies. He looked down and noticed Tondry ready to take another shot; A blur of forced enduced alacrity put the Dark Jedi out of harm's way.

Heat begins fill the air, joining the humming of sabers.

(ooc) Just to let ya'll know, I am using a flechette pistol. The flechettes are loaded with what I call "eaters" because they dissolve armor and skin if they come in contact. Since the flechettes tend to naturally penetrate armor, this makes the weapon a powerful and deadly tool, but a glancing blow would probably only dissolve some armor and nothing else.

Satine nods his thanks to Jeseth, and ignites his second lightsabre. As he does this, Alpha's wings visibly gain blades on the edges of them.

Knowing full well that the other Jedi was at the bottom of the slope, Pierce stepped into the protective covering of his boulder.

Winged opponents have a clear advantage over him. The best idea is for him to pick a person and interfere on their behalf, possibly coming out even in the end.

And since he's not on good terms with Alpha, that makes things simple.

Pierce levels the flechette pistol and the bladed wings coming from Alpha's back and fires off two shots. After about fifteen more shots, he'll have to switch to another clip, or pull out the microgrenade launcher slung across his back.
