OCC: for those who don't remember or don't even know me this is part 2 of a long hard battle fought by me, Jedi Master Boricua, and then Sith lord Dara Shadowtide. My character has been out of action for quite sometime now and since my last bought was with Dara I felt appropiate to make my comeback fight with her also. Not to forget the fact that it was an awesome fight, one of the best ones of my year and half career and good things are meant to be repeated. With no further interrumption I give you JB vs Dara Part II.

Location: Uknown Planet on the Outer Rim. A cold planet, much like Endor. On a very high mountain range, covered in snow and ice. No living creatures exists over 10,000 ft, not even bacteria.

"How the hell did I got myself into this mess"-said to herself a tumbling Dara Shadowtide as she struggled to regain her footing. The sith lordess had been in this ice bucket of a planet for two long weeks now and no trace of the latin jedi. She could remember like yesterday when they first met on Master Yoghurt's Bar & Grill, a drunken jedi master started hitting on her and disgusted by the scene she reacted like she only knows how, with violence.

It was a hell of a fight and the drunken jedi proved more dangerous under the effect of alcohol, a technique learn by former jedi Foxdvd who always carried a six pack of Corona on his backpack in case he crossed path with a sith. The two combatants fought to the death, and almost reached their goal. The duel ended with no clear victor as force induced injuries prevented the warriors to keep on fighting.

Healed from his wounds Boricua left on a spiritual journey. His destination, unknown to every soul in the galaxy, except himself. He seeked to expand his knowledge of the force and to retrospect on his life, first as a sith and now as a jedi. To measure his achievements against his misfortunes and to see if he has lived a worthy while.

Meanwhile Dara trained like a mad woman. After hard work and determination she had reached the title of sith lordess and was now a force to be reckon with around the galaxy. Little children got nightmares from stories about her and the sith circle look to her with admiration, if such a feeling can be felt by one who has embraced the dark side.

The sith had developed a taste for chaotic images, supernovas exploding, black holes sucking planets, battle scenes with thousands of lives lost every second, such horribles pictures gave her stability and fuled her evil soul. One day while she looked at a picture of a meteor crashing on a planet she could see on the background a small white moon orbiting the gas giant. Instantly her stomach revolted as the same presence she had felt on Yoghurt's when she met JB filled the room. Instantly she ignited her lightsaber and scaned the room, but no one was there. She looked at the small moon and there it was it again, she felt like vomiting. And then she understood, the bloody jedi was in that moon and possibly feeling her via the force too. Now he was going to pay, she was going to teach him a lesson once and for all.

And here she was, on that damn moon, two weeks after and no sign of the jedi. But the feeling was still there and she could feel his presence, his force, his...*THUG*

The sith fell to the ground victim of a snowball!?!?!? "Who the..."-she though as she got her face out of the snow to find a laughing JB who was standing in front of her..

JB-"glad you could join me my dear"-said the jedi as he offered his hand to get her back on her feet.

"You know I thought a person of your skills would have found me a long long time ago, I guess I overestimate you"

OOC: Thank you for the kind words JB. I truly enjoyed our last battle as well and consider it to be one of the best I have had. I also agree that good things must be repeated. And, without further delay... let the show begin.

:: As she wipes packed snow and ice from her face, Dara looks up into the eyes of the infamous Jedi Boricua. At last, she has found him. He flashes a cocky smile as he outstretches his hand in a gesture of good will to try and help her from the icy mountainside. The feeling of nausea returns as she feels the overwhelming goodness in the jedi. But she knows he was once a Sith... those feelings are not just forgotten, they are repressed by the blinding brainwash tactics of the light side. Perhaps she can tap into his memories from long ago and make the jedi realize that his path lies along the darkness to which he began his journey in life.

She finally smiles back at him as she places her hand in his and then yanks hard, lifting her legs up and placing her feet on his stomach, propelling the surprised jedi up and over her to land in a snow drift behind her, face first. The Sith Lordess then flips hidden switches on her boots where steel blades extend from the tip, giving her the necessary traction for this snowy mountain terrain as she rises to her feet ::

Dara: "I do not find any humor in dragging me to this Wampa cave of a planet, JB. And what is that smell? Have you been drinking already?"

:: The Jedi Master emerges out of the snow drift, spitting snow and heartily laughing again as he rises slowly to his feet. His laughing fades as he senses the increased darkness within her since their last encounter.

Dara's eyes turn black as pure evil oozes from every pore of her body. Her breath fogs the air like an animal anticipating the chase. Twisted visions of evil and death seep through her mind as the darkness consumes her every thought and feeling.

The chill of the arctic temperature resembles the very feeling which courses through her body each time she unleashes the fury of the dark side. Dara's hands drop to her waist, where she unsnaps the leather sheaths to her two sith blades, and she slides them out swiftly, gripping the deadly weapons with firm resolve in each hand.

Dara smiles as she scrapes the two blades together, as if sharpening them. The chime-like sound echoes throughout the mountainous cavern as the blades catch a reflection of light and cast a glare across the Jedi Master's eyes ::

Dara: "Never underestimate the power of the dark side... for as long as you stand in the light, you will be blind to the greatness the dark side holds."

:: The Sith Lordess curls her lips in an evil smile and methodically advances toward him ::

"Oh but you are mistaken my dear, for what is the dark but the absence of light? Take a cave for example, pitch black, you cannot see your own hand, but what happens when you light a single match? The small flame emits such a powerful light that not only lets you see yourself, but the person next to you. The light is like that, no matter how much surrounded by dark, always bright it will shine"

:: That said, Boricua gives life to his LS. The red blade gives the snow nearby a distinct glow, it resembled as if blood had covered it, a foreshadowing of what might happen Boricua thought.

Slowly he approached the sith lordess, his eyesight not drifting an inch from her green eyes. A shame that green is the color of hope, for JB had lost all hope on this girl. The dark side had consumed her heart and soul, she was now made of pure evil.

Now near enough, they duel. Boricua threw a vertical slash, easily block by Dara's sith blades. "She has been practicing", said the jedi to himself. JB spin to the left, bringing the blade with him and used the momentum of the roll to strike from left to right, Dara jumped back as the blade missed her by an ewok's hair. Boricua asumed a defensive position as the sith now pushed foward. Left and right they battled.

To an onlooker the battle must have seen in slow motion for the thickness and deepness of the snow made it fairly hard to move. Quickly Boricua faked right, got close, and hitted the sith in the gut with a right knee. Dara lost her air and was forced to lower her head. When she did Boricua connected, hitting her on the back of the neck with the hilt of his saber.

Dara landed face first on the snow. JB sommersaulted back and assumed a defensive position ::

:: Dara grimaced as a sharp pain hit the base of her neck and travelled thoughout her body. The snow was cold as she landed face first, but it was not as cold and dark as her heart was. She quickly pushed herself back up to a standing position, wiping her blades carefully on her skirt and then sheathing them in a swift motion. Just as she snaps the sheaths shut, she unclips her two single purple lightsabers. Her thumbs flipping the switches as the energy beams spring forth and cast a purple hue along the white ground. She concentrates on the pain in her neck, also known as Jedi Boricua, and feels the darkness flow through her.

She studies the jedi carefully, analyzing his strengths and weaknesses, but she sees primarily one overwhelming weakness... and that is his following the path of light. The Sith Lordess grins and then laughs as she looks upon him ::

"The only mistake I see here JB is your walking the path of the light. The light inhibits who you really are by only allowing you to see what your limited experiences let you see. Your eyes can easily be fooled indeed in the glow of the light. The light is blinding and only shows you what it wants you to see. And the calm that the light demands... there is no calm in true power. The light is confining and is ever watchful.

Yet, in the depths of the darkness, your true potential is limitless for there are no boundaries to keep you from fulfilling all that you are destined to achieve. In the darkness there is only you and the evil which resides within you as it flourishes and grows out of the sight of interfering eyes. There is nothing holding you back from discovering who you really are and what your destiny is.

There is unimaginable emotion and elation every time the darkness flows throughout your body. You remember that feeling, don't you JB? You remember the tremendous freedom and exuberance at wielding such overwhelming power..."

:: Dara moves her blades skillfully in front of her as the dark amethyst trace pattern hangs in the frosty air. She trudges methodically toward him through the snow, the chill of the mountain air no match for the cold which runs through her veins as the darkness consumes her.

She lunges at him when she reaches a portion of the mountain in which the snow has been cleared away due to their initial contact. Her left blade slicing at his right thigh and her right blade stabbing at his left kneecap. The seasoned jedi twists his crimson blade masterfully to counter both of her attacks. As he moves his blade down to counter her strike to his kneecap, she kicks him in the side of the head with her left foot.

The Latin Jedi stumbles back a bit dazed slightly, but quickly regains his footing in time to see her aggressively pursuing him. She levitates a snow covered boulder and sends it flying toward the back of his head ::

Dec 22nd, 2000, 12:10:45 AM
:: Boricua commenced to lower his head to avoid the rock, but he had started a second too late as the tip of the huge boulder made contact on the back of his head. Blood rushed through his head and went out through his nose.

The jedi clean his face with his right sleeve while looking at the sith ::

"Yes I remember those days clearly. I remember the power rush, the adrenaline pumping, having the world within your graps. I remember very well, I also remember the loneliness, the depresion, the emptyness, the killer emptyness...the suffering...

And frankly my dear I do not wish to go back to those dark days, when I was used by the dark side and it's minions. I am one with the force now, it is my ally, we fight along side."

:: The jedi then clipped his lightsaber back on his belt and began his attack. He engaged force speed and sommersaulted over the young sith lordess. Kicking her on the top of her head. As he landed he kept on running, making Dara follow him. He sprinted a while, going even higher on the mountainside, the sith always behind him. JB slowed a bit, now within the sith's grasp hed headed to a nearby tree. He jumped, pushed from the tree with his legs and backflipped over the running sith. Too late to stop now she slammed into the wooden trunk, as he landed JB grabbed her by both shoulders, turned her and head-bumped her on the face, cutting her lips and injuring her nose. He then kicked her on the stomack, grabbed her by the waist and slammed her once again into the tree ::

Dec 24th, 2000, 03:48:56 AM
:: Dara groaned as she slammed into the tree with her shoulder first, not being able to stop the momentum of her run. She then felt the jedi's grasp on her shoulders but as he spun her around he had not realized she retained grip on her sabers and her purple blades seared into his clothing and struck all the way to the flesh on his knee and shin. As the smell of his burning flesh permeated the crisp mountain air it brought a smile to her face, but then that smile quickly faded as her lips split open and her nose began to bleed from JB's headbutt.

Pain shot up and down her back as she impacted the tree once again, the coarse bark digging into her flesh. She leaped to the side, raising her sabers defiantly as she faced him. The dark side began to build from deep within her black heart and soul as she focused on the pain from her injuries. She wiped the warm blood from her nose and chin with her sleeve and never took her eyes off JB. An evil grin danced upon her lips as the wind suddenly began to pick up and the snow from the ground spun up into the air cylindrically like a blizzard had just moved into the area ::

"So be it then, jedi. I merely wanted to remind you of the power you had when the Dark Side was your ally. But if you insist you are now one with the force, perhaps I can help arrange for that to happen in the most complete sense of the term."

:: Dara's eyes glowed a deep crimson and then turned black as the ancient and massive tree began to creak and splinter as it was pulled out of the ground by the roots and toppled downward on the Jedi Master. Dara lost sight of him as an array of branches forced him to the ground and pinned the jedi. The Sith Lordess then force pushed an embankment of snow from a rocky ledge on top of the tree, covering it completely. She paced back and forth awaiting to see if he emerged or not, her grip firm on her sabers and the darkness emanating from every pore of her body ::

:: Blood flowed freely staining the once pure white snow. Buried under a massive tree and snow JB bleed. Dozens of tiny wounds had openend throught the jedi's body, and there were two or three more serious wounds were tree branches had pierced deep in the flesh. Thanks to the force no vital organs were reached...yet.

Boricua laid there, motionless. His mind lost within the force, pain being blocked by basic jedi techniques as the force aided healing process began. He could sense the panting sith nearby, trigger ready to strike at any move the jedi could make. He was trapped and he knew it.

Before panic could take control of his mind, JB strengthed his grip on the force. Mentally he searched for some escape, some way of getting out of this mess without any more cutes or bruises...AHA! He found something he could use. Dara had uncovered a huge boulder once she moved all the snow that was covering JB. Using the force the jedi master concentrated on the base of the rock. It was not necessary to lift the whole thing, but to tip it out of balance. Stronger he concentrated, size matters not has been taught to him at the academy. Slowly, slowly...done! The huge boulder trembled from side to side, until THANG!!!

The trembled shaked the mountain and seconds after...AVALANCHE!!!! Tons of snow broke loose as gravity pulled them down. It was too great a quantity of moving mass that Dara was unable to dodge it and she was buried 10 feet below. At least there were two buried ppl now.

Kill me and I shall be more powerful than before said Boricua telepathically to the sith lordess who was struggling to get out. That said the jedi began to dig his way out ::

:: Dara felt the ground begin to shake and heard a subdued rumbling. The Sith Lordess turned to see the cause of the commotion, but it was too late. The snow was upon her in the blink of an eye. Dara felt the air expelled rapidly from her lungs. A burning pain seared through her body as the weight of the snow impacted against her. She could see nothing but white in front of her face as she was held in place by the mass of snow. She grimaced as she heard the words of the Jedi Master in her mind knowing full well that if he died he wouldn't be powerful at all, just dead. And that thought brought a smile to her face and gave her renewed energy to escape her frozen confine.

She began kicking and digging and had cleared enough of a space for her to freely move and turn around, although she was far from seeing the sky or that jedi's ugly face. She grabbed a bacta pack from a pouch on her belt and applied it to a deep cut on her thigh from a large rock hidden in the snow that ripped into her flesh. Hatred and rage rippled through her veins as she focused on her disgust for the light and all who follow it's farce of a path. As she healed her wounds and contemplated her plight, an idea suddenly dawned on her.

Dara took a deep breath, harnessing the twisted images of her father's brutal murder before her very eyes. She focused on the intense pain of this horrific memory to unleash a translucent blast of pure Dark Side energy all the way up and out of the snow she was buried beneath. The force blast cleared an opening as it spewed forth ice and snow like an arctic volcano.

She then force leaped upward, propelling herself through the air where she then tumbled to a landing just outside her snowy prison. Dara quickly scanned the area for her arch nemesis. Not seeing him, she decided to use the elements of the mountainside to her advantage. Dara smiled as she rapidly packed an array of snowballs with rocks lodged in the center of them and then stood ready, awaiting his presence to be shown to her.

Just then, Dara spotted JB's receding hairline as the top of his head emerged from the side of the large tree which had him pinned. She grinned and in a fury of force speed, hurled the snowballs at him relentlessly ::

:: As JB struggled to get out of the snow he felt the rush of a dark presence nearby. Dara's knowledge in the dark arts was more than he had presumed. It was not going to be that easy after all.

On his way up he kept healing himself via the force and using relaxation techniques to lower his heart palpitations and regain his strenght. He hit the snow with the hilt of his saber and a shot of light came through the opening. The sun at last, he thought. But to his discontent the sith was already out, and like a good hunter waiting for her prey.

A snowball hit him in the top of his head as the jedi tried to find the sith. Something must have been inside it for it was awefully hard to be just snow. Quickly Boricua ignited his saber and forced jumped out of the snow, to be received with a blazing curtain of snowball fire. Directed by the force he was able to disintegrate most of the projectiles. But those that hit sure hurt, breaking bone as they made contact.

Finnally the sith had run out of ammunition, and in a mad rush the jedi engaged force speed and ran at the sith. His battle cry echoing through the mountain the jedi seem to fly over the snow. Adrenaline pumping through his veins all pain was seem erradicated from his body as his mind only projected the face of Dara Shadowtide. Now near the sith the jedi focused all of his strenght on his right arm and swung a devastating uppercut to the sith chin, which instantly broke and a few teeth flew around. Thrown out of balance by the blow, Dara lost her footing and fell to the ground, being hit once again on her way down. JB the slashed at her chest and step on her thigh wound, reopening it ::

:: Dara unleashes a scream from deep within her as her chin aches and her thigh burns. She tastes her own warm, salty blood in her mouth and as she sees his blood red blade approaching she ignites her purple saber instinctively and parries the chest strike, while kicking JB hard in the groin with her free leg, the steel blades of the tip of her boot ripping into his loin.

Scrambling to her feet with a slight limp, the savvy Sith Lordess ignites her second saber. She walks toward JB as he is hunched over and bleeding, and strikes at his right arm with her left saber and he swiftly parries. In a powerful blow fueled by the anger and rage from the extreme pain she was in, she then punched the jedi in the jaw with the hilt of her right saber as his saber was bound with her left one. A loud crunch is heard as his jaw shatters, the blood dripping freely from his chin and spotting the white snow with crimson.

JB is dropped to his knees and Dara laughs maniacally from between clenched teeth, force pushing him and sending him tumbling down the mountainside and out of her sight ::

:: Tumbling down the mountain JB went. He was in pain all right, but nothing a jedi master couldn't handle. With a bit concentration he blocked it, for a while, until he figured out how to stop his now wild and violent descent down the mountain.

He scanned his memories in search of solution that did not involved slamming into some big and sharp rocks. For some will of the force the only picture he could see was of him in front of the holo net on a thursday night. EAch jedi had his way of relaxing, and watching the holonet was JB's way. He noticed that on the screen was the picture of some high altitude climbers, as part of their equipment they used a metal pole, resembling a small scythe, with a sharp horizontal spike on top. They used this to gain support on the mountain wall, and it could be used to perform an emergency roll, a maneuover used to stop a climber if he falls down the mountain. Using the Force to controll his force, Boricua managed to unhook his LS and setting it on low intensity ignited it. He then rolled and thrusted the blade, since it was on low power the snow and rock created some friction with the blade, slowing the jedi's velocity. ONce it was slow enough the jedi concentrated and the force stopped him dead cold.

He regained his footing and grabbed a control from his belt. His personal ship, the Afrodisiako, was stationed on the souther side of the mountain. It was on standby and the command put it on the air. The slave rigged ship flew all teh way to the top of the mountain to where Dara was. The frigate fired a few bolts, not to hurt but to distract the sith. While this was going on JB began his ascend.

The ship did it work and while the sith was busy dodging the blasts, Boricua sneaked up behind her and using Force Speed rammed into her, shoulder first. Unaware of his presence the blow took Dara unprepared and she flew over 10 feet before hitting the snow hard. Boricua then ordered the space vessel to shoot at a nearby tree. The three exploded into a million pieces, and Boricua directed as many debris as he could and at the sith's body ::

(Remind you of something)

Dara Shadowtide
Dec 29th, 2000, 08:21:36 PM
:: Dara's eyes grow wide at the ship which rises seemingly from nowhere beside the mountain. She stealthily dodges each incoming blast from the jedi's personal craft as she grips her sabers firmly in each hand. The confident Sith suddenly stands defiantly, and with both sabers raised in an X she deflects one of the blasts back to the ship, where a sensor dish explodes from the side of it and sends a web of electrical current on a path of mayhem throughout the side of ship. Very unexpectedly a sharp pain hits her shoulder blade and the Sith Lordess finds herself propelled into the air.

As she tumbles onto the snow packed ground, her sabers slip from her grasp. She quickly stands, favoring her injured thigh, and recalls the hilts to her palms just as a shower of wood and debris begins to rain down upon her. Dara looks up to see the remains of a disintigrated tree heading directly toward her. She swiftly ignites her sabers and all that can be seen is a blur of amethyst as she sends the splintered wood away from her. She is able to send most of the wooden shrapnel away from her body, but a medium sized fragment has lodged in her forearm.

Disigniting one saber and clipping it to her belt, Dara then picks up a small twig and bites down on it hard as she extracts the piece of wood from her arm with a low groan rumbling in her throat. She then rips a section off her torn garment and ties a piece of cloth onto her arm to bind the injury. Taking another piece of cloth she quickly wraps it around her thigh to close the gaping wound which is now frozen open. She holds her breath as she does this and stifles a scream. She senses a familiar presence and glances up to see the jedi giving her a crooked smile as he slowly approaches. With the injury to her chin and to his jaw, they speak to each other via the force in each other's mind ::

Dara: "You and your deranged woodchopper obsession - I am not going to chop wood again like I did at Yoghurt's, JB."

JB: "Ah but my dear, you did such a wonderful job for us."

:: The Jedi Master heartily laughs and this encites feelings of rage and hatred within Dara. She raises her hands and with the saber still in her right hand, she faces her palms toward each other. Dara's eyes flash a deep crimson and then turn black. The darkness ripples from her as she calls upon the Dark Side energy from within. Electricity begins to crackle through the chilling, arctic air. The current builds between her hands as an iridescent sphere rotates menacingly.

Dara looks into the Jedi's eyes as a grin begins to curl upon her lips. The wind begins to whip around her as dark clouds roll in. A small blizzard forms and obscures JB's view and at that very moment, Dara unleashes the Dark Side sphere on an impacting course with the Jedi Master. As it floats toward him, it intensifies. Bone chilling maniacal laughter resounds in the mountainous cavern as the Sith Lordess keeps her eyes fixed on the Jedi Master and his impending fate ::

JediBoricua
Dec 30th, 2000, 02:55:33 AM
:: Boricua's eyes widened once he noted the black and purple sphere approaching. The "evil ball" must have been moving at a million miles per second, but for Boricua it looked as if in slow motion. Thousands of jedi scrolls said that a fully trained jedi master can block, even repell sith energy, but such a maneuover required minutes of preparation, something he did not have. But none the less he had to try.

JB began the meditation phase of the technique which informed the midichlorians of what was about to happen. The tiny beings will then start preparation to fight the evil force and create a kind of field to protect the jedi.

Boricua's time had ran out. 3, 2, 1, impact. The sphere collided with the jedi body's, and the dark energy penetrated JB's beign through his skin pores. The jedi master body was raised from the ground and it trembled in mid-air. A battle was being fought inside of him. His eyes were blood shot and he felt explosions all over his body.

His mind was enven worst. Horrible images suddenly filled it, then to be overtaken by peaceful and beautiful pictures. "Feel the power of the darkside", "Anger, agression, the dark side they are". Boricua felt as if his brain was an osterizer, and someone had turned it on.

In mid-air his arms and legs straightened to it's maximum and a horrible shout came out of him: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
The mountain trembled as the sound waves surrounded it. The battle had ended.

Slowly Boricua landed on the floor. Breathing hard the jedi looked up. Dara was exhausted as her last attack had taken the life out of her. The master was also running low on energy, but he had beaten the dark force, by a bantha's hair, but he had. Now it was time for he to attack, but how?
He was in no condition for a hand to hand fight, and a force blast would take too much energy from him, something he could not do; yet.

Somehow Boricua found the strength to stand up, taking his LS he pushed the switch and the blade hummed to angry red life. He tumbled all the way to where the sith stood and thrusted his blade deep in the snow. A puzzled looked came to Dara's face as she would have thought the jedi was going for his kill move. But quickly she understood what he planned. The extremely high temperature of the LS began to melt the snow (Like Qui-gon melt the metal door to the bridge in the Trade Federation ship on TPM). In no time Dara was in a 4 foot ice cold pool.

Boricua removed the LS and force hold DAra on her place, too weak to fight back Dara was held motionless as the water around her freezed. She was trapped waist down, and hypotermia was knocking the door.

Exhausted Boricua fell to the ground beside her, and enter a 5 minute trance to regain strength ::

:: The Sith Lordess stood immobilized in ice, the subzero temperature penetrating her attire. As she evaluated her options, she heard her own teeth begin to chatter, sending her into an excruciating state of pain considering the fact that her chin was already broken. Thinking quickly she drew upon the darkness from the innermost depths, focusing on the dire pain and calling upon a strength of evil she had not tapped into until now. Her eyes flashed briefly and then turned completely black.

She gripped her dark violet saber firmly and used the same tactic which placed her in her current state, to free herself from becoming a frozen statue to adorn the mountainside for all eternity. She then placed the tip of the saber on top of the sheet of ice and as the saber bore its way inside, the congealed liquid formation began to bubble and boil, the steam rising into the air as the layers of ice began to melt away. Dara felt the warmth generated in the water as the ice fell away from her body and the water flowed toward the Jedi Master who was laying on the ground next to her.

The sudden rush of water next to his body startled the Jedi Master from his trance and Dara stepped back reigniting her other saber. She stood intrepidly with both amethyst sabers blazing in the glory of the Dark Side, her long brunette hair whipping in the bitter cold winds of the cavern as the hatred emanated from every pore of her body. The Jedi rose to his feet and ignited his saber facing the resilient Sith as her eyes glinted of the tenacity within her dark soul.

Dara began circling him, icicles dropping from her as she gracefully moved, feeling revived from the powerful dark side energy flowing throughout her body. The grip on her sabers was firm with resolve as she looked deeply into his eyes. In a burst of force enhanced speed she was upon him. Her sabers moving in a blinding fury of speed and accuracy as she sliced toward his right wrist with her left saber and stabbed at his neck with her right saber. The Jedi glided his saber up to lock with hers as crimson and violet sparks emitted all around them. The savvy Jedi was able to dodge her stabbing attack but she was able to knee him in the already injured groin.

The Sith Lordess pulled back, unlocking her saber from his as she deftly swept her leg low, knocking JB to the ground flat on his back as a resounding *thud* was heard echoing all throughout the mountain. Dara leaped on top of him, digging her knees into his stomach while giving him a one-two punch, both hilts connecting with the sides of his face.

JB groaned and shoved her off the top of him and she went skidding backwards, landing hard up against parts of the fallen tree. Dara then smiled and levitated an array of tree limbs and branches and propelled them rapidly on a direct path toward the Jedi Master ::

JediBoricua
Jan 15th, 2001, 02:21:05 AM
:: Crap. That was the only word that came to JB's mind as the tree limbs closed in. He had used that similar move twice with Dara, and it was only natural that the sith would try and do it to him, if only he had been prepared for it. Crap.

Boricua did his best at deflecting the wooden projectiles, some were diverted with the force and other were desintegrated with his beam sword. But it was impossible, a sharp spear penetrated near the collarbone, while another big one punctured the stomach. Countless other scracth the already soared body as blood flowed freely.

The jedi master put one hand down on the bloodstained snow to help himself get up. It was time for the big blow. Compared to himself, Dara was in a much better condition. That force lighting had really taken it all out of him. Boricua readjusted his footing, standing firmly he searched for the sith. A wicked smile ran accross her face as she readied to destroy her prey.

Staring at her now black eyes Boricua threw a smile of his own. Boricua then spoke in an ancient jedi speech "et mai faicer ana" (I am the servant of the force). The sun shone upon Boricua, birds sung even though it was winter, A bright light illuminated his whole body. He was levitating now, repeating the same phrase over and over and over again...
"Et Mai Faicer Ana"
"ET MAi FAICer ANa"
"ET MAI FAICER ANA!!!"

The jedi extended his arms, all the force in his body madly rushed to his extended limbs. The tips of his fingers illuminated the circumsference of the mountain. And he...released.

Faster than the speed of light the force blast hit it's target, penetrating the sith lordess through every pore of her body. Her eyes rolled in madness of pain as the light roamed through her body.

Boricua's exhausted boyd felt to the ground, whispering..."et...mai...faicer...ana" ::

:: The Sith Lordess held her breath as the searing hot light blasted into her body. She then unleashed an otherworldly scream between clenched teeth as she dropped to her knees in agony, the shrill sound of her voice echoing all throughout the mountain side. Sickening feelings of good washed over her as it burnt her skin and boiled the blood in her veins. Her body slumped to the ground as she began to tremble and shake violently.

The classic battle between evil and good was being played out in her very body and soul as she writhed on the ground in pain, a pain like no other. She closed her eyes and saw images of beautiful flowers and heard voices speaking about calm and serenity. Dara thought she was going to vomit right there in the snow from such vile thoughts as those.

She felt her body being ripped apart inside and knew she had to stop it somehow. Suddenly she saw a man with a small girl playing happily in a garden, they appeared to be father and daughter. And then, she remembered... She saw her own father, Cale Shadowtide, a handsome and proud man, standing before her. They had just completed a quite profitable smuggling run along the Outer Rim and he couldn't stop smiling on the bridge of the ship.

Dara saw that smile and then saw it fade as her father was struck from behind. Three men had apparently stowed away on their ship from their brief passover. One man ran to hold Dara down, she couldn't move as she was paralyzed in shock. Two of the men beat her father as the third man held her face up to watch. After bludgeoning Cale, they finished him off by shoving a sword through his heart as they smiled at her. She was able to escape the ship with her life thanks to the hidden compartments her father had built but she was never able to escape the horror of that moment.

The feelings of rage within her were as fresh this day as they were then. The anger and hatred Dara felt would continue to fuel her until her revenge was inflicted. The darkness was forever her path. The Sith Lordess felt the power of the dark energy begin to purge the light from her body and soul. The dark tendrils seeking out each strand of light and vanquishing it with merciless retribution. Dara breathed deeply as she felt her strength, the darkness, shifting the balance in her body back to the Dark Side where it belonged.

She pushed herself up onto her hands and knees as she slowly climbed to her feet to face the Jedi. Her body was drained from the infusion of light, yet the darkness was rapidly replenishing her as the hate and rage blazed throughout her. Dara held her head high and looked upon the Jedi on the ground. She called her sabers back to her hands and ignited them.

The clouds rolled back in and the sunlight faded. Gusting winds passed throughout the trees and silenced the birds as well. Darkness was upon the jedi in more ways than one. The veteran warrior scanned her surroundings and saw long icicles scattered all about her. Concentrating on the darkness which consumed her completely, she levitated the frozen projectiles and sent them flying through the air on a course to pierce Jedi Boricua's flesh ::

"Not again" Was Boricua's only though as he saw the approaching hungry icicles who couldn't wait to bite deep into his flesh. Unable to do much more JB swung his lightsaber akwardly and roll so the ice blades would only hit him in the back. And hit they did. Boricua's skeleton shivvered as cold was inyected in his body.

Tired of all this fighting, tired of the dead heat, with no opponent giving and inch of advantage the jedi master resolved to end it all here. Using energy he didn't have Boricua stood up, and looked at the sith straight in the eyes.

She was still weak from the recent attack, but her hate was even greater now, and Boricua having been a sith himself many years ago knew how fast can hate fuel a lost soul and give it strength. He had to do his move, and had to do it know.

Still staring at her cold bloodshut eyes JB began walking towards her, then jogging, a bit faster now, faster, until he had engaged full FORCE SPEED. Midway through he ignited his red blade adding more color to the different shades of whites, reds, browns and blacks of the moving blurr that now was Boricua.

Dara took a defensive position and awaited the sith eagerly. It had become a jousting match as both warriors ran against each other. They were nanoseconds before contact when JB simply did a face first baseball slide tackling the sith as she tumbled face first into the snow.

Using the momentum of the slide Boricua rolled foward, stood up, his LS still ignited and struck at the sith. First a horizontal slash in the back around the waist area. Then a full thrust digging the saber deep in her left thigh and finnally cutting half of her right ear off.

Boricua then sommersaulted backwards, landing near a tree where he rested...and passedout for his energy reserves were now equal to zero. He entered a jedi trance to replenish his strenght ::

:: The Sith Lordess Dara Shadowtide felt the impact of the Jedi's hit as she toppled to the cold, hard mountainside. As she regained her footing, the skin on her back burned as the air hit the open wound from a quick saber slice, blood dripping downward and covering the fresh snowfall from earlier in the day. Her thigh felt as if it were suddenly on fire as his saber punctured her skin and grazed the bone. Her instincts caused her to pull her head to the side just in time to avoid a shot to her head, the hum of his blade buzzing near her ear.

As she fell to her knees on the ground Dara saw the Jedi Master take sanctuary near a tree. Her breathing was becoming labored as the battle was beginning to wear on her. Her thigh throbbed and screamed in agony as she looked down to the pool of blood near her leg. She focused on the darkness and pulled out her black pearl to channel the pain from her injuries and allow her to continue battling this feisty Jedi.

The Sith Lordess tore her cloak and bound her thigh tightly to stop the bleeding. She then tore another section and wrapped it around her waist to bind that injury as well. As the Sith warrior slowly stood, her eyes focused on the Jedi. The mere sight of him fueled the hatred which boiled deep within her. Visions of death and destruction were ever present in her mind as the darkness empowered her.

Dara called her twin purple blades to her hands and gripped the cold metallic hilts firmly, the design conforming perfectly to her hands as she moved the weapons with ease in front of her. The Lordess raised her right saber and pointed it directly at Jedi Boricua's chest. This was going to take alot out of her but she had to do it. She had to deal him a serious blow.

Dark tendrils of lightning laced their way down her dark violet blade. She held her breath and then as she released, dark lightning flew forth from her blade and impacted the Jedi directly on the chest like a spider web of electricity. Her legs gave out and she fell to her knees again, the drain of power more than she had imagined as she slowly raised her head to look upon him ::
