Any Jedi ready to die today?

:Graem walks out onto a flat plain of land, hoping that some foolish Jedi would be stupid enough to do battle with her so she could face her fear of the lightside and continue with her training as a Sith Apprentice.
She stands, arms by her sides, her right hand not straying far from her lightsaber as she waits to see if anyone would happen by:

[Satine Capashen]

Graem hears a snap-hiss and as she turns around, she sees a silver lightsabre being held by a 13 year old. The Rogue Jedi's eyes are a startling shade of silver, matching his sabres color.

"You rang?"

"Aren't we a little young to be carrying such a dangerous weapon?"

:Ignites her own purple/black blade and stands ready. She knows not to underestimate Jedi, no matter how young so this should be quite interesting:

"I meant no offence...just that my own Jedi Master didn't let me construct my own lighsaber til I was 15, but then parents make the worse Jedi Masters in my opinion.....because they get themselves killed and they get upset when their children turn Sith"

:Waits for the Jedi to make the first move:

"You ready to become one with the Force young Jedi?"

[Satine Capashen]

"You're lucky to have had parents at all...I never knew mine...OH well."

Satine jumps at Graem, doding a slash, and coming up with an elbow to the ribs.

:channels her anger and hatred to summon the darkside to aid her in her fight with the young jedi:

:steps back slightly and to the left after Satine hits her in the ribs.
She slashes at his right shoulder but her concentration is already lapsing......she can sense a vague presence nearby.
She looks beyond Satine and sees the vague presence of her father and she sighs.
Dividing her concentration between parrying blows from Satine and speaking with her father in her head had the effect of making her deactivate her lightsaber and attaching it to her belt.
She turns to Satine.
"Would you mind if we call this quits?, I can't even contemplate killing you, you being both a child and a Jedi but I will continue if you insist....but that presence behind you won't let me kill you...as I haven't completely lost my link with the lightside as of yet".
Waits for Satine's reply in the matter as her father's presence walks towards her:

::walks up behind Graem and twirls her around::
you never stop fighting, you fight until the death, sith never run, face your fears!!!!1
::turns her back around::

"Come on Graem, I won't be the one loosing here..."

Satine gets into a fighting stance.

:Beldarine was watching the fray from a distance... she notices the Sith disengaging her lightsaber, and turning away..

What? A Sith giving up a battle before it has even begun???

:too nosy to simply watch anymore, she walks up to where Graem and Satine are standing..

"What's the matter, Sith.." :she spits out that word as if it were acid inside her mouth: "Are you afraid of our young Jedi? I did not know the Sith order would tolerate such cowardice in their ranks.. But, then again.. If I were you, I would be afraid.. Satine here is one of the best out there"

:she looks at Satine..:

"And just when I thought I'd get to watch you in a good fight... oh well.."

*Had sat there on a rock, quietly watching the actions of his fellow sith, but decided to speak his mind when the Padawan had spoken her own.*

..Such typical simple-minded Jedi thoughts...

..Any form of honor in a Sith, is interprated as Cowardice by the Jedi, who are suppossed to be the epitome of honor.. Listen, she decided she did not want to fight Satine, due to his age, because her own Jedi past has not fully left her, and because the presence of her father here on the battlefield has left her unnerved, and unable to concentrate on the battle...

..Not saying Graem's like me, but if she is, then she knows enough to not continue a fight if she doesn't feel totally comfortable with doing so...

*He watched the Jedi glare at him, obviously not entirely sure what to make out of what he was saying*

... Now, I'd continue the fight with Santine, if for no reason other than to test his abilities, and give her a chance to fight against a Sith. I wouldn't Kill him, nor seriously injure him, for he's still growing, and injuries could seriously damage his growth and training...

*At this point, he noticed the Jedi's expression change to one of confusion.. after all.. why was this Sith saying he wouldn't want to badly hurt a young Jedi?*

... I wouldn't injure his, because my personal beliefs are that all battle is merely training. If I can give a Jedi the chance to find weakness in their abilities, and train to be even stronger, I welcome that. It gives me more drive to train Myself.. knowing that there are others out there training to become better than me, or even just thinking it, even if it's not true...

OOC: Ack! Dammit, Sorry! ¡^_^ I seriously thought someone'd said that Santine was female.. Gomen Satine! My char's only 18 himself actually..

IC: I speak the truth, Beldarine, but know why you would doubt me. I do well know that one should not start a fight they do not mean to finish, but, like I said, to me fighting is training. If I can end a fight without taking the other's life, or seriously injuring them, then I welcome that chance. Make no mistake, If neccesary, I will finish a battle completely, but it leaves me with little honor or glory gained.

Also, I know age means little, but experiance does mean a lot, and with age comes experiance. I'm not putting Santine down by his age, merely stating that he is still young, which would make anyone significantly older even just a bit apprehensive about fighting him.

Now, I won't fight Santine unless he wishes to, I am still slightly sore from my battle with Kaine Darklighter, but I believe that I'm fine enough for it not to hinder me.

*That being said, he brought his hands down to his sides, underneath his large black trenchcoat, and rested them near his two sabers, "Life" and "Death", which hung from beltloops.*

Satine looks at the strange Sith named Miryan, and says, "I know you aren't meaning to put down my age, but I would just like to say this: I have been in the battlefield longer than some people out there double my age. So I have more experience than they think...Now, about that battle you offered." Satine's eyes glint with a strange light. "I am willing to wait until you recover from your last fight, if that is what you wish. If not...Than I'm ready now."

:looks around at the assorted group of people who suddenly appeared.
Never assume I'm a coward because I don't want to kill a child who just happens to be Jedi as well, because I've done that before...that's why i didnt want to kill him as I've killed the last person in my family after my family was massacred by rogue Jedi.
Do you know what the guilt of killing 3 innocent young children and a Jedi Apprentice is like, especially when that Apprentice was your younger brother?.
I don't suppose any of you do":her eyes go ice white and the figure of her father disappears, never to return.
She reactivates her lightsaber and waits:

Satine gets into a fightingn stance, his sabre held high.

"I am NO child..."

*Hearing Graem's words, and watching her reignite her saber, he nods, and backs away to where he had originally been watching the fight. As he walked, he spoke out telepathically to both fighters..*

Graem - " ...I don't know about you or your abilities, friend, so I'll offer you this, as redundant as it probably is.. Don't underestimate him.. he may not be old, but his story does seem true, he seems to have a lot of power in him..."

Santine - " ...Perhaps we can have our fight once this one's over, and you've healed from whatever may come of it? As I said, I believe I'm fine now, but.. "tis better to err on the side of safety".. and I Would be in better shape, no matter what, having rested for a short while..."

:watches Satine, having no intention of being stupid enough to underestimate him due to his age or size.
She doesn't move, content to let Satine make the first offensive move.
She glances over to see if her Master is still present, only partially glad that her link with her father, and the lightside, has been severed....but not sure if it has been completely severed as she still has her Jedi instincts screaming at her not to go against Satine, or was that her sense of self preservation?:

Miryan-"thanks for the advice but I don't intend to underestimate him, my 11 year old brother nearly killed me with my own lightsaber....so I know what kids can do".

"Yes, but I'm worse. I'm a 13 year old with an ego problem."

Satine jumps at Graem, dodging a slash, and sweeping her legs out. As the Sith gets back to her feet, Satine kicks her into a wall, smiling as he does.

:draws in the darkside to aid her in her battle against the young Jedi:

"I'd hate to fight you when you're 16 with an even bigger ego problem....that's if you live that long that it"
:Is getting fed up of being kicked or Forced pushed into walls...they're just so darn hard.
She thinks for a moment before standing and deactivating her lightsaber, anticipating the reaction the gathered Jedi and Sith would have to her doing that a second time and smiles, she attachs the lightsaber to her belt before producing the lavendar bladed Jedi lightsaber she also carries.
"Sentimental in my old age I guess".
:She activates the lightsaber and fakes a slash at Satine's stomach before swirling to the left and taking aim at his left shoulder before being blocked.
Graem pulls in the darkside, fuelled by her deep seated self hatred and anger, to slam Satine into a boulder a few metres away.
She waits, standing in a defensive stance, for Satine to make his next move:

Satine gorans in pain as he gets back to his feet, and then taps his left wrist three times. An energy shield forms, and as that is finished, Satine charges Graem, blocking a slash with the shield, and kick the Sith in the gut.

As Graem is doubled over, Satine knees her in the face, and then lightly burns Graem's face as a sign of contempt.

"I plan on living longer than you..."

"Is that so?"

:unsteadily gets back to her feet, picking up her lightsaber as she stands.
Winces slightly when she touches the burn on her face.

"One more scar doesn't bother me....but you are getting on my nerves young one, isn't it near your bedtime yet anyway?"

:she enjoys winding him up, fun pasttime to have when you're fighting a 13 year old Jedi with an ego problem:

"First off, Young One doesn't offend me....If you were around last year you would know why...But as for bedtime...I don't have one..."

Satine lashes out with a kick, catching Graem in the burnt portion of her face, and making her cry out in pain.

ooc:I take it you've never seen that dreadful, and to my disgrace, British "comedy" the Young Ones then?
At least Ewan was half decent in Episode I, but (Sir)Anthony Hopkins goes and becomes an American citizen so we can't even say he's a great British actor anymore..sorry i tend to complain about the downsides of being a Brit, and there are a lot of those:

:Graem finally realises that she had underestimated Satine, but she doesn't intend to repeat that.
She dulls the pain in her face and lashes out at Satine's shoulder, is blocked by that darn shield so she stepped back and takes stock of the situation:

{OOC:Some people mentioned that when the Young Ones had formed on the EZBoards. BTW the YOs here had been a hangout fro 10-16 year olds, but there aren't anymore of the YOs except me now...}

Satine smiles slightly, and gets into a fighting stance, motioning for Graem to atatck.

:shrugs and does just that.
she strikes at Satine before asking a really stupid question:
"Ever thought of turning to the darkside?.Not that I'd bother trying to turn you or anything like that, I'm just curious"

Satine swings his sabre and aims for Graem's head, but the Sith blocks it. Satine uses all his strength and pushes against the other lightsabre.

"I'e been there, done that...Twice in fact..."

:smiles slightly as she pushes her lightsaber against satine's before kicking him in the stomach then hitting him on the back of the head with the hilt of her lightsaber.
She steps back momentarily:

Satine growls and jumps back up, his sabre flashing in and out as he begins attacking, which Graem blocks. Satine blocks a counter attack with his shield, and then hits the Sith on the face with the shield, the energy burning at Graem's face.

:steps back, the pain overwhelming her for a microsecond before she regains control of herself.
She blocks and counterattacks with increasing verocity and speed, she suddenly puts on a spurt of Force speed and aims for Satine's back:

Satine spins away, but gets lightly burned on his back. As he stops the spin, Satine flip kicks the Sith into a wall.

:slams into yet another wall, using the Force to lessen her impact a little but it still hurt.
She gets to her feet before using her increasing anger and frustrating to summon the darkside to pluck Satine off his feet, levitating him a few metres off the ground before plucking his lightsaber from his hand.

ooc:if my posts seem to die for a while tonight it's cos I'm having my dinner and doing my homework(at 20 it should be illegal!) at the same time as doing this.

Satine simply ignites his second sabre, it's gold blade filling the room with light.

"I do have a backup ya know!"

Satine uses the force to unsheath a dagger, and throw it into Graem's gut. The dagger's point sticks out her other side as it embeds itself.

ooc:tut tut, well I can go to and leave college whenever I like, but as it's halfterm I just sit here all day on the Net...I mean studying hard for my exams(or so my parents like to think :-P). It's 7:45pm here now

Graem looks down and thinks that this isn't good as she steels herself and pulls out the blade, imbedding the blade in the ground.
She kneels on the ground, keeping a careful eye on satine as she applies bandaging to the wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
She also uses the Force to shunt aside a lot of the pain she is feeling, but she still stands up unsteadily and winces as she does so.
She curses as she uses the Force to bring her lightsaber to her hand, before she decides to use her Sith blade from now on, her Jedi lightsaber was just plain bad luck:

Satine steps back, waiting for Graem to make a move.

:doesn't make any immediate moves against Satine, but instead draws upon her Force reserves and then moves hesitantly at first but with increasing speed to strike at Satine in a flurry of blows, each one blocked:

Satine's burning muscles begin making him slower, and he gets scored by the sabre twice. The Rogue Jedi jumps away, landing five metres away, breathing heavily.

"You're good."

Satine fires a Force Concussion blast into Graem's chest, knocking her backwards.

"As are you"

:staggers backwards before regaining her balance:

"but who is better?...."

:again strikes at Satine, slowing just a little:

Satine blocks it, and kicks Graem in the gut, making her double over. Satine slams her on the back of her skull with his sabre hilt, knocking her flat on the floor.

:Graem gets to her knees and gingerly feels the back of her head, feeling the blood there. She was gonna get some serious brain damage if she kept getting whacked on the head all the time.
That last kick from satine was pure agony as he had kicked her right where he knifed her earlier.
She summoned the darkside to her as her increasing anger pulsated through her, and her eyes were cold and white as ice.
She got to her feet whilst calling her lightsaber to her hand and igniting it in one fluid motion before faking a blow to Satine's left side before pivoting on her right foot and slamming the hilt of her lightsaber into his stomach, after deactivating her blade just before it impacted with his stomach before kneeing him under the chin as he was bent double.
As he doubles up she quickly moves her now reactivated lightsaber away from his body before issuing a series vicious kicks to his ribs.
She steps back from him and waits, smiling ever so slightly.
Now she was feeling much more in tune with her Sith self, now that her link with the lightside and her father had been severed and she was actually enjoying herself and not feeling so....guilty about all this fighting with child Jedi:

Satine feels two ribs give way, and a hiss of pain escapes from his lips. He uses the force to throw Graem backwards for about 2 metres, and jumps at the Sith. He gets pegged with a kick in the chest, that leaves him sprawled on floor. The Jedi gets back up, and jumps at Graem, force-recalling his sabre. As he ignites it, he swings downward.

:Graem quickly pushes her saber against satine's, pushing his up and away from her before she pushes him away and stands, waiting for Satine make the next offensive move:

Satine jumps, feinting left with his sabre, and then slashing right, cutting deeply into Graem's side.

: Drops to her knees, mentally and physically drained, not sure how much more she can take of this fight but she isn't going to give up to a Jedi, no way was she going back to her Master after failing this task.
She calls on her draining reserves of strengths to continue the fight.
She takes a calming deep breathe before blurring into action against the young Jedi, her attacks are quicker and more vicious that ever before:

As Graem begins attacking, Alpha is suprised by her fury and gets hit a few times. But as it goes on, Satine manages to block ther attacks, and even come back with a few of his own.

Graem gets hit in the jaw with a snap kick, but she gets Alpha with a double kick into a wall.

:rubs her jaw as she watches Satine get back to his feet:
She wonders how long this will go on but she's sure she isn't going to give up first.
Stands with her eyes closed, seemingly unconcerned about the fact that she's in the middle of a fight with a Jedi, and does something she never thought she would do again in a hurry, she clears her mind of all negative thoughts...all the hatred and anger.
She then opens her eyes again and Satine notices they have returned to normal...the hatred and anger has gone from her eyes, to be replaced with something unreadable, something slightly unnerving:

"Are we going to finish this anytime soon Jedi?"

:without waiting for an answer Graem attacks again, but she is slower than before, as she is tiring and not drawing on the darkside as she was before:

Satine blocks, again and again, tiring, but drawing on the lightside of the Force to keep his strength up.

He looks at Graem with a healthy respect, and as he does, he gets slashed with her sabre. The Jedi hisses in pain, and side kicks Graem in the head.

:staggers slightly from the kick to her head and shakes her head...she had a killer headache to add to everything else her body was screaming at her but she wasn't going to drop dead anytime soon so she did her best to ignore the internal distractions to focus on her Jedi opponent:

*Leaps in front of Gaven, from the boulder he had been sitting on, observing the battle*

.. I do not think so Jedi, this fight is between them, and them alone..

:grins slightly as she watches the Jedi and the Sith:

"If you doubt a fellow jedi's skills enough to even think about interceding in a fight what does that say to him?
I haven't managed to kill him yet have I?"

:turns her attention back to Satine and waits for him to make a move:

Satine looks at Gaven, saying, "If you don't sit down now, I'll kill you myself!"

Satine jumps at Graem, sweeping low, then high, and as she dodges botgh of those, he knees her in the gut, and shoves his sabre through the Sith's shoulder.

"Don't tempt me..."

"If you jedi wanna fight amongst yourselves I'd be happy to halt this fight and watch you..."

*Frowing, MnT sighed and shook his head...*

...How have you survived this long? I wouldn't figure a Jedi that tries to interrupt a fellow Jedi's battle, and then seems to try to pick a fight with the Jedi themself, to live more than a week..

:stands leaning a boulder, watching the two Jedi and the other Sith, wondering if this fight would ever get finished. Her lightsaber stays ignited, she's not stupid enough to deactivate her lightsaber now:

"Is this going to turn into a Jedi vs Jedi sort of fight, which seems sort of darksidish to me, or does it stay Sith vs Jedi?"

[Jedi Alpha]

"It stays SVJ. Miryan, if you wanna go against the other Jedi, go to a new thread."

Satine jumps at Graem, slashing downwards, and as she blocks it, Satine kicks her in the gut, knocking her backwards.

.. I never said I wished to fight him, merely stated my distaste for his actions..

[Jedi Alpha]

Satine nods his head, and says, "Ok, just saying, in case you wanted to."

[Graem D Snowbringer]

:after halting her backwards momentum Graem grins and crouches down on the ground, her lightsaber pararell to her right arm, ready to strike at Satine:
"I was hoping this would turn Jedi vs Jedi as I've never had the pleasure of watching jedi fight jedi yet but you can't get everything you want, killing you will more than make up for it"

[Jedi Alpha]

"You won't be able to kill me...You can try..."

Satine gets into a backstance, his sabre held diagonally to his body.

"I hope to prove you wrong young Jedi, but who knows what will happen before this battle comes to an end?"

:doesn't move aggresively against Satine, instead waits in a defensive stance, to force satine to become the aggressor and move offensively:

Satine jumps at Graem, running with his sabre held high. He stabs once, but it's blocked. Slashes, blocked again.

The Jedi gets blocked a third time, and spin kicks the Sith backwards.

:Graem once again summons the darkside to aid her in defeating the Jedi then she springs into action, her lightsaber held at the ready, as a boulder comes flying toward's Satine's head from behind and impacts with a satisfyingly loud crack and Satine drops to his knees, somewhat dazed momentarily:
