(It had been roughly thirty minutes. Sanis contented himself with reading the business section of the newspad he picked up. It seemed that New Republic legislature was tightening the embargo on Outer Rim contraband. Sanis sighed...if this continued, it was gonna be hard for anybody to make a living out there.

Tossing the datapad aside, Sanis slipped his sunglasses on, as he admired the scenery in the Bail Organa Memorial Park. At the moment, no news of an embargo concerned him. It had been three months since he came to Coruscant, and he hadn't even seen space during that time...so he very much doubted he would have to worry about anything concerning the Rim, or its economic woes. Still, it never hurt to keep tabs on the situation, but for now...he had other business to attend to.

A man walked across the grassy expanse, coming to sit at Sanis' bench. He wore a hooded robe, which concealed his identity to those around him, but Sanis did not have to ask. The man he had asked for had indeed received the message, and had come to meet with him.

Sanis turned to Warren Azalin, and smiled.)

Glad you could make it, Mr. Azalin.

:: The Jedi nodded beneath his hood as he turned towards Sanis ::

"Well Sanis, you called me and I came. So whats on your mind ?"

(Sanis smiled at the Jedi, pulling out a blaster and leveling it at his chest.)

No offense, Mr. Azalin...but you have something that somebody wants. I'm just playing the Repo Man, that's all.

:: Warren stared emotionlessly at the blaster pointed at his chest, without showing a hint of fear he turned to Mister Prent and grinned ::

"And just what do I have that you would want ?"

(Sanis grinned slightly.)

No, you misunderstand. Its not what I want, its what my client wants. The way he put it, it didn't exactly sound like you'd be willing with it forthcoming. So, I guess that leaves me little choice in the matter.

(Sanis slips a hand to his belt, tapping a small device clipped there. A light high-pitched whine is barely audible for a second, then dissipates. Sanis shrugs, and pulls the trigger of his blaster, firing a shot at Warren's chest.)

:: A single sound rang out though the park as Sanis pulled the trigger, all around the motionless Jedi and his would be assailant citizens began scattering and running away from the scene as they heard the sound of blaster fire. Warren did nothing but watch as Sanis pulled the trigger, for him time slowed to a halt almost as the bolt headed towards him. With a small wave of his hand he brought up a Force Shield up in time and reflected the bolt away from him. He grinned slightly at the outlaw as he spoke ::

"I would have thought a criminal of your standards would have tried something more elaborate than just shooting me."

(Sanis grins slightly)

Well, sometimes its just best to start with something old and reliable. Oh well.

(Sanis stood up, and pulled out his second blaster)

:: Watching as Sanis pulled out a second blaster he quickly stood up and jumped over the bench, getting behind it for cover only seconds before the silence was once again broken by a halo of gunfire ::

(Sanis tucked one of his blasters back into its side holster, and removed a small spherical object from his belt that looked like a grenade. He set a timer on it to half a second, and threw it towards Warren, all the while firing at him with the other blaster. The device, an Imperial-issue micrograv generator sphere, worked off the same principles as the gravity well generators that Interdictor cruisers used, only on a small scale. Within a radius of 5 meters, it could intensify the gravity by a factor of four, causing even the act of standing to become a chore. A 150 pound male could find himself weighing 600 pounds.)

:: The blast exploded next to Warren, he had expected the end to come quicker but nothing had happened. Slowly he looked around not noticing anything out of the ordinary, well nothing until he tried to stand back up. The first thing that he noticed was the immense pressure upon his body, he could barely move without wasting more energy than he had though. Slowly trying to ponder how he would get out of this he heard a small clicking noise, it was then that he looked up only to see the barrel of Sanis' blaster pointed at him ::

(Sanis smiled slightly, tilting his head at the fallen Jedi)

Well, I hope you don't mind...in the end, its just a job.

(Sanis fired, and the blue circle of stun energy headed for Warren)

:: Looking at the blue light coming at him he knew there wasn't much he could do. It wasn't until the energy almost hit him that he remembered, this whole time he had been fighting to just stay upright. Letting himself go he felt himself fall towards the floor quickly, time seemed to slow as he fell and the energy passed over his head by only a few centimeters. Slowly the Jedi looked up at the Mercenary smiling, if he was getting paid a lot of money he might as well work for his pay ::

(Sanis quickly holstered his blaster, and reached to his belt, pulling out his shell gun. Opening the breech, Sanis felt through his bandolier, searching for a green shell. Finding one, he slid it into the left barrel, flipping the breech closed with a clack. Sanis watched as Warren struggled against the local gravity. He smirked...it more than likely wasn't in Warren's best interests to struggle.)

I would've taken the shot, if I were you, Warren...the alternative is decidedly less anesthetic.

(Sanis fired his shell gun, hitting Warren in full with the tensanet webbing, sprawling him backwards and keeping his body anchored to the ground. As Warren struggled, Sanis approached him, reaching to his ankle and unsheathing his Corellian combat knife)
