The day was unusually hot, even for the steamy jungles of Dagobah, the planet where the Jedi had based thier operations on the planet that Luke Skywalker had come to be trained by Yoda so long ago. The Jedi had spent most of the last few months setting up their new base and had very little time for exploring the deserted planet, except for some day trips to look around the local swamps.

No one had decided to leave for several days and make the trek to where Yoda's hut was supposed to have been. No-one actually believed it existed any more, nor did anyone really knew where it was, after all they only had an entire planet to explore, how could even Jedi find a hut amongst this swamp?

It was never Turbogeek's goal to find it while he made his journey. He reset his backpack and climbed over some vines. Dirty, sweaty and a bit foot sore, he had walked now for 8 days and was thinking about turning back. This journey had been made to calm the Jedi's mind, to get back to peace that a true Jedi had. The loniness and the noises of nature had done their work and the Jedi felt more connected to the Force than he had since they had gotten here.

But even with that, it was a huge surprise to find the remains of a dwelling, covered with vines and collapsed in part. He came closer, looked inside the hut, it was dark so he pulled out a torch and peered inside

The heat and humidity of the jungle kept the sweat pouring off the Jedi as he used his sabre to slash the vines and undergrowth, thrwoing them out of the way. The hut itself had one wall collapsed, the rest were in pretty bad condition, even considering that structures were under constant attack from the relenless progress of the jungle.

Still, the Jedi found he could get in by a cavity. Glowrod lit, he put aside the backpack, reclipped his sabre on his belt and crawled in. The dank smell of a long abandoned dwelling assailed his nostrils, bits of the hut dug into his knees. A small rusted pot banged against a shoulder and fell on the floor with hollow bong, the pot fell to pieces it was so badly decayed.

He found a small area he could sit up in, doing so he allowed his torch to ply along the walls. The rain had gotten occasionally, leaving mud streaks and also the floor. He was already filty and in need of a refresher with his 8 day trek, so he wasnt too concerned. In fact, the hut itself was somewhat cooler than outside, the humidity less oppressive. It felt calmer even, like this place had the residue of the Light Side.

He looked again, saw a few rags on what could have been a bed. The light dwelled there, seeking out every feature. Was this the famous Yoda's hut?

Had he stumbled on the last place that Yoda himself existed when he had "crude matter" to think about, to define his presence in the material plane? Well, the dwelling had been for someone small, had been comfortable and was well built originally to have lasted this long.

Turbogeek began to explore the limited confines, searching for any other evidence of who occupied this place. A few small cooking limpiment stuck in mud and rusted to the point of non recongnition, some more rags that crumbled at his touch, a few small devices that he could not tell. He crawled over what seemed might have been a box, hard to tell with the gunk on it, when the top of it gave way, the Jedi quickly rolling off and landing backside first in a mud stream

Mildy irritatied, he wiped off most of the mud and began to more carefully reclamber over the box.....

Only to pause. It wasnt empty.

And flashing a light inside, he saw it's contents were in very good condition, in fact nearly perfect. A small lightsabre, one like he had seen Master Yogurt use was on top, then there was a large book. Other objects were there, but DT ignored them to looka t the sabre first. Tiny yes, but as he found the ignition button, and the blade snapped to existance, wonderfully made with a perfect balance. A weapon of a true Jedi Master.

Much like his own Athona sabre, which he was repairing after Darth Grendell had tried to destroy it. Unknown to that Sith, the Athona was only truly destroyable by the Lightside, an interesting conumdrum as it could only be weilded by a lightsider. Well, it would be back.

Shutting what he was now convinced as Yoda's sabre down, he put it aside to pick up the book. He opened it and was startled to see it was NOT a dataviewer as expected, but a truly ancient volume, with written letters on some sort of yellow substance the Jedi had never seen before.

A book with actual indiviual pages? He had heard of such a thing, understood they were only found with great and ancient secrets. Considering this must have been Master Yoda's, whatever it was could be of great use to the Jeid as a whole. He tried to read the first page, found it was in a language he had never seen. However, it seemed to have a power all of it's own, it had a presence in the Lightside!

He put the book carefully down scrambled outside and grabbed a waterproof pack. He put the book and the sabbre, plus all the other objecys of the box into the bag. He took one lask look around, saw nothing else he could want and got back outside.

The find excited him. Could this be a book of lost secrets? LOst abilities in the Force the Jedi or the Sith knew nothing of, lost when Palpatine killed the Jedi and himself died?

Whatever it was, Turbogeek decided to begin to make his wak back to the Jedi base. Yes, it was an 8 day hike back, but it would seem longer than that. He knew this book was worth something and he would have to use al his patience to wait until he could do something about it - back with the resources the Jedi had in thier base.

Reseating the backpack, he moved off, leaving what he now knew was Yoda's hut behind. DT swore to come back soon
