The Outer Rim - a dustball planet - monastery of the Order of Pessimists
------------------------------------------------------------
A very battered, tattered and enormously dirty pile of walking rags is dragging itself up the hill to the monastery. It leaves a trail of muddy drops on the stony road. Muttered swearwords emanate from under the tattered robe.

At the top of the hill, Jekaan - for that is indeed him - drums on the Monastery's gate with his fists. Feeling miserable and wet, and, for the first time in months, sober, he just wants to get to something nice and warm and soft to lie down on. Preferably his own bed.

"Bloody drokking freaks! let me in, you suicidal bastards! LET ME IN! or I drokkin' WILL make it rain down pox and pestilence on you! I'LL BLOODY THROW YE ALL IN THAT VOLC---"

The gate gives way under the onslaught of his fists, and he fell, once again, face-forward onto the ground. This is different, though. There is no mud. And the ground is rather hot.
Groaning, Jekaan shuts his eyes for a moment, hoping that when he opens them again, the dull buzz in his head will be gone. Almost timidly, he opens his eyes, to come face to feet with Brother Doorkeeper's boots. 'Oh no, not that idiot again!' he thinks.

"Master Jekaan, I was meaning to talk to you about that dreadful shrieking coming from your chambers. Not that I'd mind a little creative self-flaggelation...indeed, it's very recommended if one's thoughts turn too optimistic...but too much is too much. We can't honestly maintain our prayers of doom and destruction when there's our thoughts turning to how to shut up that awful noise. Is there-- MAster Jekaan???"
The Monk stares down at the ragged figure to his feet.

Jekaan has decided that passing out right there and then is the best idea he's had in a long time, and, curling around the monk's feet, he sleepily fights out of his sopping-wet rags and sighs contentedly as he looses consciousness.

Brother Doorkeeper looks down at the naked sleeping form gripping his feet, and a pleasant shudder of horror overcomes him. He tries to free his feet, but when he moves them an inch up, Jekaan groans again, and begins muttering in his sleep.

"yesss....madame director...yess....go to bed......."

" So your really gonna do it?"

" I have too. They wouldn't have sent me that message unless they really didn't my help."

*Brother Doorkeeper timidly tries to pry Jekaan's fingers from around his boot, unsuccessfully. "Donovus! Tirial! Come quickly, I have another dull and awful task to assign to you!" The lesser monks come running, with worried looks on their faces. "Take this poor, damned creature back to his room, please? And remember! His fate is infinitely better than ours will be, when the Plague of Heaven descends and makes us wish and beg for death!" The monks quickly grab Jekaan and drag him off by his arms....

Brother Doorkeeper sighs gloomily, and turns to shut the doors again....and sees a vision of death approaching on foot (having left his swoop back along the road, hidden in a deep crater). The Pessimist gasps in awe as he sees the doom and death this being embodies and surely will bring upon them all....quickly he slams and bars the thick wooden doors, leaning back against them panting and quivering.

A quiet knock sounds on the door, but Brother Doorkeeper hears it as a resounding bell toll of doom....and does he EVER know who it's tolling for. He does not move*

Jai Delete: *Coughs....he hates dealing with the monks in any way* Hello? I don't suppose this door opens?

Brother Doorkeeper: N-no! It... it doesn't! I'm sorry!

Jai: Shut up and open up.

Doorkeeper: B-b...but it doesn't work! Our door doesn't swing that way, t-terribly sorry! Please go, just go! Our lives are already forfeit!

Jai: @#%$! You snarking monks.... Look, either you open this fricking door, or I call in a Sith to rain down the thunder on your motherloving heads.

*He hears a large bar of wood being removed from the door, but nothing else....so he kicks the door in. Striding through the gateway, he glares at Brother Doorkeeper, who is lying in the gravel and dust and shaking like he's seen the Emperor, or perhaps a rancor*

::shellspark stands, and carefully places all the supplies back where he found them, he opens the door and exits to the alley, then to the street::

::Shellspark sees two cloaked figures exiting a cantina and is almost floored by the overwhelming evil that eminates from the pair. He hurries behind the nearest building, hoping he wasn't seen::

Slag. If those aren't Sith, I'm a toaster. I can only hope they didn't see me. Grrr...where are those other Jedi when you need them?

::After several minutes of anxious waiting, Shellspark peeks out from behind the building and, seeing that the streets are clear, hurries off in the direction of his ship::

ooc: You see, for the last 17 years, Shellspark has been trying to surpress the force in him, fearing that the Sith would hunt him down if he used it. Since the call came, he has been feeling more and more in touch with it, but he's still trying to convince himself he doesn't need it. So subconciously, he's relegated the force, and its affect on him, to a voice in his head.....that he sometimes argues with. This, plus the fact that he never truly understood the force, has made him go a *little* insane in the last few days.

Inside the abandoned rebel base on dantooine

Luke sits in his quarters the day before the eventful attack

Luke had just returned from Yog's Bar after a horrendus fight (verbal) with his sister Leia.

Luke doesn't even remember what it was about, but they both said things that hit both of them in the core of themselves.

Luke sat thinking

I have to talk to Leia and apologize for what I said.

ahh now I remember. Liam had hit a cord with me about Dalethria, saying it was my fault she turned back to the Sith, and I got a little out of control, but Leia defended him and that was what the fight was about.

Luke starts to head for the door to talk to Leia, No he thinks. We are both a little upset yet, it will wait till tomorrow....

:: As the two board the Evader II Hera places the ring safely inside her tunic and takes her place in the pilots seat, preferring to keep her mind occupied with the comfortable task of piloting than sit as navigator, her mind reliving the nites events.

Remkah takes his seat beside her as she pushes on the thrusters and eases the beautiful craft gracefully toward the stars.

opening up the link, a generic radio 'grunts'voice fills the c*ckpit (Hera thinks those radio operators sound the same the galaxy over) and the co-ordinates of the SSD Titan are broadcast to them as a rendevoux is planned with Banestones fleet and High Commander Ket suggests they join them. *click* as the transmission ends.

Hera and Remkah look at each other and without a word, Remkah enters the new co-ordinates to meet up with the TITAN.

Remkah sits back to catch a nap to pass the time and Hera shifts the craft into hyperdrive and they blast a rift thru time and space as the stars meld and shoot past the veiwscreen ::

*Kat was unable to stay inactive any longer. The life of a smugglar had made it's impact. She walked out of the vault place (or where ever we are by now) and ran into the woods. She climbed into a tree and stood on one of the branches. It was hard in some ways to see some of her old friends, and she needed a little time to think. Climbing higher into the tree Kat saw something that looked like a base in the distance.* hmmmm. *Kat jumped out of the tree and started running in the direction of the base. It was far enough away that it took the better part of the day to reach it. From the outside it looked like it had been abandoned for years. Kat climbed inside and started exploring the vacant passages and rooms.*

The day of the attack

an explosion rocks the temple

Luke flies(figuritively not literally) out of his bunk, throws on some clothes and grabs his weapons belt and runs out of the room.

Luke runs down the hallway as another explosion is felt, dust flies, pieces of the ceiling begin to fall.

Luke continues down the hallway when another explosion hits sending Luke flying through the air. Scrambling to his feet Luke runs out the door and into the early morning light.

Hundreds of sith are in the fields, sabers drawn. Some of the Jedi have already begun fighting them off. Luke grabs his saber off of his weapon belt and runs down into the mix of jedi and sith

Luke ignites the elegant weapons and begins taking sith down one by one, while doing so he frantically looks around for his sister, but she cannot be found.

while fighting the sith, luke blocks a siths saber from striking the back of Jedi Liam Jinn.

Luke: I don't think so sithy,

Luke makes quick work of the apprentice.

Luke: Liam, have you seen Leia?

Liam kills the sith that he was fighting and turns to Luke.

Liam: not since the fighting started, i've been a little busy. but I'm sure the jedimaster can take care of herself

Luke: I hope your right, Liam....I Pray that you are right.

Luke and Liam stand back to back as another wave of Sith enter the battle. Luke starts running through the wave of sith slashing and parrying as he goes.

Luke knows that this battle is one that they will not be able to win, at least not now.

Luke feels a presence nearby, one that he is all too familiar with.
Luke: Long time no see Dalethria, have you come here to die?
Dale: no, Skywalker. I have come here to watch you die...

and with that the sith attacks luke with fierce energy, Luke is taken off guard by the fierceness of the attack, but quickly gains his composure and is able to fight off the attack.

there is a brief pause in the showdown and sith and jedi circle each other, Luke goes on the offensive and swings his mighty saber at dale it is easily blocked and Dale spins and delievers a force kick to lukes midsection and he flies back about six feet and lands on his back.

Luke gets up slowly and again approaches the sith that he once thought would have made a great Jedi. just as Luke is about the attack, Dale hits him with a massive lightning attack, Luke falls to the ground writhering in pain, dale shows no signs of giving up.

Just as Luke feels he can take no more, the attack subsides. Luke looks up and sees that Kyle is standing over Dale with a huge rock in his hand.

Kyle: I owed her that one, now we are even
Kyle: Luke are you ok.

Luke: yeah, I'll be fine, but we must signal the retreat or there won't be many jedi left.

Kyle: Luke, Its too late many jedi have already fallen, their is only a few of the knights left, most of the padawans fell almost immediatly.

Luke: Kyle, get to your ship and get out of here i will meet up with you later.

Kyle: gotcha boss, I'm Outa here
as Kyle turns to head for his ship, Luke looks up just in time to see kyle's back, with a saber sticking through.

Luke: Kyle!, no!!!!!!!.

Luke jumps up saber ignited he force jumps over kyle and faces his attacker, sith kat faces Luke.

Luke: Very well Kitty lets go.
Luke and Kat exchange blows for what seems like hours, with kat getting the better of him, Sith Kat has Luke where she wants him when a barrage of laser fire fills the battleground, the source of wich is unknown, during the confusion Luke is able to lose himself from kat through the ongoing battles all around him.

Luke radios his droid R2D2 to pick him up. the droid lands the xwing on the far side of the temple. Luke is able to make it there but he is severly wounded, from the ordeal with dalethria and sith kat.

Luke climbs up into the c0ckpit and liftsoff into the sky. Luke heads the xwing to the farside of the planet and then out into space.

Luke tries to send a force message to Leia but he is just too weak.

R2 enters into hyperspace, leaving the jedi home behind them....

Luke opens his eyes.....remembering where he is.....

dantooine, yes it was that dream again, or should i say memory...

Luke checks on his son then returns to his slumber unit and goes back to sleep....tommorrow we search for the jedi.

luke wakes and senses another presence in the base...

"a presence i have not felt for...." Luke wakes Ben and they carefully exit the base and head into the woods, Losing them selves from the unknown presence.

Luke and ben find a secluded cave and enter....

Luke's senses go wild...there is another on this planet that he knows very well but we just can't pin point it yet.

Kat was stipp pokeing around the old base when she came apon a room that had atleast 2 people as far as she could tell. One presence felt vaguely firmillar and the other Kat knew she diden't know at all. Her internal clock told her that it was time to get some sleep so she went back to one of the abondened rooms near the exit and crashed for the night*

As shellspark leaves town, all the fragile hopes he had built up in the past few days were shattered. His ship was gone--probably stolen Where it once lay, now there was only a few disgarded parts the thieves had not fet like taking.

"Oh slag, *now* what am I supposed to do? I have no money, no friends, and no way off this accursed rock. Where are the Jedi when you really need them"

"Dantooine, the Jedi are on Dantooine."

::smacks himself in the head::

"Shut up, don't you think I know that? What am I supposed to do, grow hyperdrive engines and fly to Dantooine? I don't seem to remember them teaching us how to do that at the Academy."

*grunt*

"Oh well, I wonder if anyone in town will take me on as a hired hand. I need to get some money so I can book a transport out of here."

The Large Cirlcualr door that tops the Royal Crypt of Ord Mantell slowly opens. Rama looks down.

" 13 stories straight down." He thought to himself, " But I have to get down there."


He Glances over an notices a set of Stair being revealed as the door contiunes to slide open.

" Damn! Stairs!"

He wishes he could have just used a skiff, but they would have been on him in a second. The only way to slip away without anyone knowing was to go on foot. Rama moves over to the stairs and begins to make his way down the

That's about all the former Guardsman is able to make out before he gets out of earshot as he heads for the tower*

*wakes up**Starts to leave the base and notices a firmillar man and a young boy ahead of her. She slips into the trees and begins to follow them from the branches trying to the man in her mind*

::As the Three Jedi walk to Laim's ship Chaos teels them the plan.::

First we need to head to the space station I have been living in. It was long ago abandoned. It has been my home for years now. A freind is there that needs to see Edan as well. His name is Greel. He is my best friend. We have been together sence the fall of the Jedi. We will be a big help on Edan If I am right. Father had to Hell Hounds. Celes and Hades. He sent them to Edan before the Fall of the Jedi. They should still be there. They cant be senced through the Force and are each the size of Cars. They are very fast and strong. And they will be gaurding Edan more than likely. That and the place is crawling with creature from Pivo's biocreature experiments. He likes to....twist the laws of nature.

James run's to catch up with the other Jedi.

" Wait, I am coming with you." Each Jedi looked shocked that James actually came back to help them.


" I left you guy's once and almost all of my friends died. I will not desert you again. If we die, we die together.


Chaos speak's "Let's go then, hopefully the hell hound's will be able to do what I think they can do.

Luke and Ben awake and pack up what gear they were able to seize from the base.

Luke walks out into the bright sunlight. Father and son hike through the woods until they come to a clearing; Luke scans the horizon... ... ... "There are definitely force users on this planet, the question is, are they sith or Jedi."

Ben: Father, are you sure this is prudent, even if the Jedi reunite the odds of the Jedi order being reorganized and defeating the substantial amount of sith is...

Luke: Ben, as a good friend once said..."Never tell me the odds."

Luke stands staring into the sky....

Leia: Luke! when are you going to start treating me as a Jedi, instead of a sister
Luke: When you stop acting like a spoiled princess and start listening to me.
Leia: Luke! You have no idea what is going on!
Luke: I know enough! I told you if you get involved with him you will regret it....

/flashback

Ben: Father, Father.... Yo Pops you in there?

Luke: What? oh yeah, sorry I was... ... ... ...Thinking

Luke and Ben walk north until they come to a ledge, Luke looks down

Luke: wow, that first step is a doosie.
As Ben leans over and looks down Luke grabs the back of his shirt and hauls him away from the ledge.
Luke: be careful that's a long way down.

Luke and Ben head to the east following the cliff's perimeter, after a few minutes they come to a path leading down.
Luke is standing at the start of the path with Ben near the edge looking down again when there is a loud animal noise which startles both, as Ben jumps from the loud noise he loses his sense of balance and falls over the edge of the cliff.
Luke: NO! BEN! Luke runs to the edge but his emotions are so intense he is unable to call on the force to save his son from falling, Ben falls out of sight of Luke...

[Jedi Knight Leia Solo]

**Leia excuses herself from the Jedi Group**Knowing.. Locke will be fine with the protocol droid looking after him* Leia exits the vault to take a walk, she had been feeling cooped up and was somewhat distressed that Liam had to leave with the Chaos and the others** She figured some fresh air would do her some good** The jedi continued walking the barren land for sometime, her mind kept drifting on Liam. Worrying about what he and the others are getting into. Hoping that they will be fine** Leia unknowingly had walked some distances..the horizon now turns to one of great huge cliffs in front of her**

SUDDENLY..Leia hears a scream..Leia looks up and sees a small form plummeting towards the earth. Without hesitation..Leia force runned to the child and caught him in her arms with her quick jedi reflexes. But before she can ask him anything..she had noticed the child had fainted from the shock of the fall**

Leia : OH my heavens..you poor child why has this happened to you? Are you alone? SIGH..I just wish you can answer me.

**Leia relizing the child is unconscious..decides it is best to take him to the vault with the others to take care of him** Leia gently holds the young boy and carries him back to the vault..unknowing if he was with anyone else**

Luke runs down the path, never slowing down after about an hour of force running down the path (he was able to sort out his emotions enuf to call on the force speed) Luke arrives at the bottom of the path and looks up at the mammoth mountain.

Luke searches the area but there is no sign of his son, no body, no impact from the fall there is nothing Ben has disappeared.

luke sits down on the ground deeply depressed, his whole life he has lost those that he loved, his aunt and uncle were first, then ben, Leia, his wife, and now his son...

Luke: no i will not let this happen again, he is not dead until i see a body.

Luke settles down and meditates as the force enters his body and revives him luke reaches out across the planet, Luke has accessed so much of the force that it would be impossible for anyone not to sense him on the planet no matter where they were.

Luke focuses the force to search for his son... ... ...

Luke feels his son's presence but he discovers that his son is not conscious and is unable to respond, using the force Luke begins to home in on his son's presence

*Kat followed the man as he ran down the path staying just out of sight. Kat hoped back up into a tree and started following from the trees agian. Kat realized that they were heading back to where she came from, but dicided to follow anyway*

Luke hikes through the terrain, homing in on his son using the force, his presence getting stronger and stronger with each stride.

Luke comes to a clearing, he carefully peers through some bushes and sees what appears to be a rocky face with a lone tree to one side.

there are many people standing around, it appears they are getting ready to move, Luke notices several of them look very familiar...Jedi

Luke: They are Jedi.

Luke exits his hiding place and approaches the group, he looks around but his hope of his sister being with the group dies down as he does not see her,

thinks: perhaps she is dead as i was told.

Luke stands in the clearing no one has noticed him yet.

*Kat exits the woods seeing that she is back where she started and needed to hide no longer.*

[Jedi Knight Leia Solo]

**Leia comes out of the vault carrying a small child, her son Locke and the protocol droid follow carrying their belongings** The jedi are now on the move to go to The Temple that Liam had left directions for them to follow.**Everyone has gathered all their supplies and start huddling around going over the directions** Leia looks on** Then senses a familiar prescence** She looks at Kat**

Leia: Kat please hold this little boy! *Leia hands over the child*

Locke: What's wrong mom?

Leia: Uh..nothing Locke..just stay here one moment! Please!

Locke: Sure..mother.

**Leia pushes herself through the group** Stares off to the side..and notices what seems to be a familiar figure..she walks over slowly..then it dawned on her.....

Leia: Oh MY GOSH!! LUKE...!!!!!!!!

**Leia dashes to her brother and throws her arms around him**

Leia: I thought you were dead!!!

Luke watches as a female figure approaches...

Luke: oh my....I don't beleive it.

as Leia gives Luke a hug he pulls her away.

Luke: Leia, I...thought you were dead as well, I have felt terrible all these years, about the heated argument we had...this has been a long time coming, but...I'm Sorry sis, do you forgive me?

Luke: Leia, I have a son, be he fell off a cliff, but there was no body.
I don't know what i'll do if i don't find him, i was sure his presence led me here but maybe i was homing in on you and didn't know it.

his name is Benjamin Anakin Skywalker. Can u help me look for him? or (luke looks around at everyone hustling around)are you busy with these jedi, what is going on here?

The four Jedi sit in Liam's ship. They are ready to leave except for Liam who is thinking about his wife and child. James get's up and walk's over to Liam.

"We have to go now Liam. We have complete the mission."

"Right." Liam unlock's the docking clamps and the ship pull's out into hyperspace.

James grab's a device out of his bag and set's it down on the control panel. "It's a temporal device I have been working on for the past 14 years. If we can get it to work, we maybe able to go back in time and stop the purge. But if it work's, we will cease to exist."

[Jai Delete]

*Jai Delete continues making his way to the "tower" - more like a shack, with some two-level building built into it's backside - and cautiously skirts what looks like a frocking active volcano crater, which is handily set right into the middle of the monks' settlement. No doubt making taking out the trash a snap.

As Jai nears the shanty, he notices two sprawled figures lying in no apparant order on the ground, around a table, two fallen-over stools, and countless bottles of cheap liquor and Fizzyglug. One he barely recognizes as the skinny and older version of the ever-thoughtful and demanding Jekaan....the other unconscious man is obviously the good Dr. Quill. His looks haven't changed much, despite all that exhaustive training he'd had to go through in ImpIntel. Stopping over Jekaan's snoring - and naked - body, Jai wonders what the two are here for. Hiding from the Sith would still be a good guess, but Jai doubts that's quite it. The two old men look very worn and tired....and, of course, drunk. Suddenly, he hears something odd....coming from the small building behind the shack.

Walking up to it curiously, he find another door, not dissimilar to the front gate here at the hotel Pessimism, although it was locked. Finally losing the thin grasp he was retaining on Patience....Snark it, why was he referring to his emotions with a capital letter now?! Freaking Pessimists....Jai brings up a boot and smashes the locked door inwards. Hmm....Quill and Jekaan's living quarters, no doubt. Their beds were likely upstairs, but they had a completely foul and unkempt storage area/entertainment center down here. Broken HoloNet reciever, though, which probably explained the frustrated holes in the wall next to it.

The noise sounds again, much closer....it was coming from a small, and again LOCKED, door on the other side of the room. It sounded like Quill was still keeping up-to-date on his horribly animalistic experiments, then....*

[An Old Crone named Isard]

There are steps outside the locker, outside the box.

What little is left of Isard's brain, can process the information filtering through from the gradually rotted away ears, and tells her that a person is approaching.

From the contents of her addled brain, she remembers visits from Jekaan and Quill. And she has come to fear and hate those visits - but she needs them to come in. She needs company. The silence is too much, threatening to swallow her up completely.

The steps outside come closer, and she resumes whining and howling to make herself heard.

Quill is awakened by footsteps passing near his head and tries to see who it is, but can see nothing but blackness. He feels his face in terror, but discovers his eyelids are simply crusted shut. He rubs them open, but is greeted by such blurred vision, he cannot make out his vistor before the figure walks out of his line of vision.

'If I could just move my head' he thinks, 'I could look over there.'

When he tries to move his head, he discovers an interesting sensation: like a large weight sitting on his head with a spike thrust into his brain.

"A-a-ah-uh" he croaks.

Suddenly he espies a bottle not quite empty near his hand. Lifting it to his mouth, he gets most of it to go down his throat, the rest leaving wet streaks through the grime of his chin. The empty bottle and Quill's head met the ground at the same time, the head making a decidedly heavier thump.

Leia: Apologies Luke?! I am just glad you are alive. We can discuss our last argument later. You have lost a son!! **shocked and with realization Leia continues** OH MY GOSH LUKE!! I have found a young boy earlier..around 14-15 years of age. He was falling from a cliff and I was able to save him. But due to the fall..he has been unconscious for awhile. He is fine and healthy otherwise! Let me take you to him!

Luke: YOU have found my son. Thank the heavens Leia. The force does work in mysterious ways...please let me see him at once.

The Bridge of the SSD Titan...

Ket sat in his command chair,his black robes covering him like a shroud of darkness. His eyes,molten swirls of reddish hues mixed with orange,the very color of the fire inside him. He had felt the emotions,he saw the visions of Jedi reuniting all at once. He had forsaw this a decade ago.
He had surpassed any Sith when it came to the ways of the Force. But still...there was one who had always been more powerful...one more attuned to the Force than he could ever be. Rama Sha,Sith Master. The name of a warrior long forgotton by many,but he still held him in high regards,for he would not betray the memory of one of his closest friends. He knew Rama would heed his calls for help,because he knew he would need it. The Jedi's time for reuniting was drawing to a close. Ket would not let them rip away the vast empire he had created. Where all Sith would no longer be hunted mearly for wanting to be powerful and think for themselves. To not be brainwashed by the Jedi's desire for order. The Jedi were more evil than the Sith to Ket. The Sith did indeed have visions of great power,but the Jedi wanted to take all freewill from the galaxy. To make it so that everyone would be the same,everyone would be a servant to the light. The light was dead,and they still didn't realize it. Well this was going to end. Finaly,Ket and the Sith that came before him would get there point across. No longer would they sit by and watch the Jedi rise again and again and destroy everything they built for there distorted visions of order and mindlessness. The Sith would strike down with a mighty hand of vengence and crush them once and for all. We would suceed where they have failed for centuries. The Jedi had stayed in power for millenia. Now it was our turn.

Ket sent out a message through the force to all the Sith he could reach. It was a call for the Sith to Unite and destroy the Jedi once and forever.

Hear me,my fellow warriors of the darkness. We have finaly made our empire,and now the Jedi wish to consume it all into there mindless philosophy of light and order,of mindlessness and ignorance. They widh to destroy what took us so long to finaly build. They once ruled for millenia,and now they wish to destroy us in our very infancy! I...no,rather...WE will not tolerate this anymore. It is our turn to rule,our turn to become the most powerful influential beings in the galaxy,in the universe even! In character - *Jai spins around to face outside when he hears one of the two prone figures stirring....he carefully watches the doctor again drop his head to the ground in a stupor. But again, the former Guardsman is drawn to the other locked door, as whatever is inside of it suddenly gets louder and more insistent in it's senseless moaning. Jai pulls a few slender durasteel picks from a pocket, and sets to work on the lock. It may have been easier just to search Quill and Jekaan for the key, but he really didn't feel like touching them at the moment.

With a rusty-sounding snikt , the lock is open. Putting away his "tools", the bouncer mentally braces himself and cracks open the door. Peering through, he only sees darkness....letting more light in by opening the door further, Jai sees that there is a box floating in the center of the room, somewhat over a meter and a half tall, and half as wide. It seems to be the only thing in the room, yet the stench is nearly overwhelming....

Coughing, Jai begins breathing shallowly through his mouth (covering it as well) as he nears the box....this doesn't seem to be locked, just barred from the outside with a simple sliding bolt. Not knowing why he seems so drawn to do this, he slides the bolt back slowly as the unintelligable garble emanating from within the locker gets louder. He opens the door.

A moment later, a monk passing by sees three figures lying out in the rock and dust by the shack....one of them doesn't seem to be drunk, though, and is coughing dryly into the ground as he tries to pull himself back together. He's getting too old for such nasty shocks such as seeing a withered-up old husk of a human being, locked in a box and kept on some bizarre arrangement of life-support devices. Wiping off his mouth, Jai is glad he hadn't eaten anything recently....the human in the storage locker was so old and abused that on viewing it, you couldn't even tell what it's gender had been, what color the eyes were, or even that it was still alive - if not for the nearly constant whine coming from it.

He chokes once more, and walks back in. He tries to reorganize the expressions on his face for the creature's sake, though he doubts that the effort was successful. At least, he manages to get most of the disgust and horror off of his expression....pity, revulsion, and fear are now warring it out for dominance.

Entering the little storage room, he walks up to the being being held in the storage locker....a nearly-mute testament to the inhumanity of the human creature. It seems to be nearly able to speak, so he tries asking it a question. "Who are you?" He honestly can't think of anything better to say to this....shell of what was once human.*

Out of character again - Geez, this story is depressing. I need a hug, or a morphine cookie. *Looks around hopefully* ....Damn you all! *Runs away sobbing*

Light! Someone opened the box and let light in!

After years of being starved of light and air, she finally feels her face being caressed by fresh air again. Her spirit once more lifts.

But now suddenly the light is cut off again, and someone steps in front of her, looking at her. She recollects his face. 'Delete! it is Delete!' She wishes she could turn aside, turn off the eyes that stare at her. Knowing how horrible she must look to him, what nightmares she must provoke to those who have no knowledge of her past - the thought is almost unbearable.

But he speaks. He asks her something. Asks for a name. How can she answer? How will anyone ever believe that this is all that is left of the once proud and powerful Ysanne Isard? How can she ever look anyone in the face again and say her name out aloud - even if she could?

'Is this all I've lived for? To live out my days kept alive by machinery, while two perverted old men seeking revenge for something I now regret let my body rot away in a box? Is this what I've truly earned with my actions?'

Regret, and all that is left of her remaining will-power, make her cry out aloud, trying to scream her name. Trying to proclaim that it is indeed she, the once so proud Ysanne Isard, of Imperial Intelligence.

Nothing but a dry croak escapes her parched lips.

Shamed, she feels then. Ashamed of her life, ashamed of her deeds, ashamed of her present state. For indeed, she feels responsible for what those two miserable creatures who call themselves her captors are doing. She is responsible for making them what they are - for filling them with such a hatred for her to make them act like beasts. Bitter tears, she sheds - inner tears they are, a hundred times more acrid and painful to her than any other tears she can cry.

Out of the hollow of a rotted eye, a single lonely tear escapes, and falls on the outstretched hand of Jai Deliete, who has overcome his initial disgust, and feels moved to do something for this poor creature.

"Who are you?" he again asks, in a low voice.

And against all her shame, all her regret, all her stunted emotions, for the first time the bitter bitter anguish she feels for being left alone again, enables her to cry out loud:"I am....Ysanne Isard!"

*For a moment, the slow, hoarse words mean nothing....and then the universe collapses, and a wall of black threatens to take away Jai's sight. Isard....that was impossible! She was dead, killed by the hand of a victim's vengeful lover....this, this pitiful creature was not the proud, bitter woman with the eyes of fire and ice....this barely animated bundle of withered flesh was not Iceheart. No. No, it could. Not. Be.

But it was....somehow, in his heart, Jai knew it to be true. He didn't know how....but Jekaan - Jekaan and Quill - must have done this! He doesn't even notice the tears streaming down his own face until they cause him to blink.

Delete stutters, "But that's....that's impossible! Isard....oh, hell and blood! What have they done to you?"

It was like a bad dream. And he wanted to wake up.

Outside, the emanciated wrecks of Jekaan and Quill still slept, undisturbed by the drama playing out bare meters from them. Blissfully unaware of the brink that the former Imperial Royal Guardsman, Jai Delete, was now pitifully balanced on*

rendevoux with the Sith Combine forces, Hera feels
the familiar stirrings of anger and agression of the
dark side to which she has devoted herself all these years.

She tunes into Kets message regarding the jedi and their
attempt to rear their peace-loving heads and bleed their doctrine of light upon the galaxy yet again- will that monster never die?? - and is incensced that these lightbearers are relentless..even after the setbacks they
have had. The near annihilation or their order by the Sith - yet they intend to try again?? "why dont these pitiful fools do the universe a favour and just curlup and die!"

Remkah jumps with a start from his sleep at Heras outburst.

H: "how long till we are in visual range of the 'Titan',
Remkah?"
Remkah checks the readouts,
R: "less than an hour"

H: "be just like the good old days eh?"

R: "maybe we can even make this a profitable run, as
well as a personallly gratifying one "

The pair smile, anticipation of mayhem making them

He activates his flashlight and lets it fall on huge object covered by a black tarp.

Rudely brought back to to the world of the living by a some horrid screeching noise nearby, Jekaan sits up on the floor, and promptly curses at doings such. His head feels like something very big and exceedingly heavy has dropped onto it out of the sky.

Just as he is about to try to make out what that infernal noise is, his stomach violently flips inside, and with a horrified expression, all he can do is lean aside and let things take their course. Which results in the cabin being filled with dreadful retching and gurgling noise as the contents of Jekaan's stomach are vomited out.

Finally, after a couple of dry heaves, it seems his stomach is empty, and he leans back, groaning, to look at the mess he's made.

It is then that he realises that what he's been vomiting on wasn't the floor, but the very unconscious body of the Doctor.

With that realization, his short period of consciousness is over, and he keels over, to land face-first on the doctor and his own stomach's regurgitated contents.

Leia: Well it's nice to see you are up, young man. You gave us a scare.

Leia: Oh has he? Well it's nice to finally meet you Ben. I would like it very much if you and your father would follow me to meet your cousin and the rest of the other jedi that are here now. We are just about ready to leave for the temple and are just finalizing our routing. Please follow me.

**Leia, Luke and Ben meet up with the other jedi. The jedi have rounded up all their belongs and proceeded to head to the temple as directed by Liam. After sometime..the group came across the temple. The jedi proceeded to enter the temple and started placing their belongs inside**

Something wakens Quill. It may have been the weight of Jekaan's head falling on his stomach, or the foul stench of vomit that suddenly wafted into his nostrils, but more likely it was the unearthly voice from around the corner croaking "Ysanne Isard."

A shiver ran down his spine at the ghost of a voice he'd thought he'd never hear again, speaking the hated name of Isard. His bowels loosened at the thought of what Isard would be capable of in revenge for the torment he'd inflicted for all these years, driven by his hatred of the ice-hearted former director of Imperial Intelligence.

His dazed senses came back to him gradually, and he first felt and then smelled the puke-covered head of Jekaan laying on his belly.

"Aach, get off me, you putrid slug," he yelled, but no response was coming from Jekaan.

He pushed the limp body off himself, disgusted at the vile mess all over the two of them, when he noticed a large indistinct figure, standing at the medi-box Isard was in, turning to stride towards him.

Oh *censored*! he thought. The large man loomed ever larger above his slight frame as he approached.

Quill struck out desperately and connected with a cheekbone before Delete reached out and grabbed him like a rag doll.

A figure seemed to appear in the door way on the SSD Titan. A woman about 34 years old, she held a wine goblet in her right hand and smiled evilly at the man sitting in his comand chair. Tsk, tsk, tsk Ket... she sent mentally. I thought you, of all people would sence a yiddle girl like me entering your ship...

She stepped forward and lowered the hood of her cloak with her free hand, taking a sip of the wine she grinned up at Ket. As he realized who she was... an old "friend" or was she...

She quirked a quick brow. "Miss me?"

[Jai Delete]

*And like that, the brink of the abyss was reached, and Jai stood perched on the guardrail of sanity. He opens his eyes to see that his reflexes are still in working order, and he's lifting the slight frame of once-doctor Quill off of his feet by his arms*

Quill....so you woke up finally?

*He can't think of anything better to say. Behind him now, the husk of Ysanne Isard croaks and groans as her tired brain associates the reappearance of one of her tormentors with more pain and loneliness....but slowly, her humanity is again reviving forgotten brain cells and neural pathways. What was once a human, and a woman, is silent again.

Jai returns his attention to the quivering lump of flesh and bone in the air before him*

Hm. I would ask....I would ask the why, but I don't wish to discover the because. Nothing I could do to you would be justice. Get....away. Just get away from me.

*Jai's voice breaks with some sort of emotion as he suddenly drops Quill onto the floor....Quill scuttles backwards on his hands and rear, not taking his eyes off the large human, but getting as away as he can. Once he reaches Jekaan's stinking and snoring form, he scrabbles to his feet and unsteadily runs out of the shack, destination unknown. Isard gazes at Jai as they both wonder what he is going to do next.

Less than an hour later, Brother Doorkeeper finally shuts the gate for good on the departing form of Jai Delete, former Imperial Royal Guardsman and barbouncer. He'd lost a good handcart in the deal, something that was unfortunately destined to have occurred sooner or later....it was one of the signs of the coming doom of the apocalypse, even! But finally, Brother Doorkeeper would get a little more peace and quiet as he and his brothers bemoaned their inevitable destructive fates.

In the cart behind Jai, a medical storage locker and a limp human form lay. The human was covered with rags and otherwise naked, but the box seemed carefully placed, and Jai pulled it along with great care. It took him nearly six standard local timeparts to bring the cart back to his local residence and bury the ghosts of his past in the backyard.

One mound of upturned dirt and rock he let gather weeds, and used it to burn uprooted and unwanted vegetation from the irrigated area around his small house.

The other one he planted flowers on....red and blue ones. They reminded him of someone he had cared about, more than he had about anyone else he'd ever met*

as the jedi reach the temple, Ben helps his father store the rations and other gear outside the temple entrance.

Luke watches as Leia and her son run around helping others as needed.

::Chaos Looks at the four Jedi and gives Laim the coords for Chaos's "home". After hours of hyperspace the group looks at an old Space station. The place seems to barely be able to hold itself together. Chaos flys the ship into a hidden docking bay.::

Laim- How can a human survive in a place like this?

Chaos- I dont stay here for long lenghts of time. I just leave Greel here.

Laim- Like I said, How can a human live here. It seems you leave Greel here alot.

Chaos- You shall see.......

::The four Jedi follow Chaos through the many hallways as her gives them his personal "tour" of the old place. The jedi look on with looks of dought at every mention of Greel. After a while the find thier selfs in a vast open forest-like place. James speaks up::

James- why is tehre a Forest in th emiddle of this place?

Chaos- I wanted a wooded area for Greel to live in. And My race are Forest dwellers.

James- Speaking of Greel, where is this "great" warrior?

::As if on Cue a low growl is heard behind the Jedi. With reflexes only a Jedi master could have Fett reachs out to the Force to find and see what/where ther creature is. Fett hears the growl to his right now. And gets a confused and scared look on his face.::

Fett- I..I.....I can't sence him with the Force. Who is he?

::Chaos looks on without fear and answers Fett and the growl keeps switching places around the Group. The Jedi ignite their Light Sabers ready to fight. Laim feels hot breath on the back of his neck and spins around. In mid spin a huge paw slaps him 10 feet and sends his LS far away from him. Fett turns to face the foe, but sees a blurr run back in the woods. Fett gets in a defence stance. As he prepares a long think tail shoots from the underbrush and grabs his foot and pulls his feet from under him. Fett falls to the ground and James is knocked beside him. The Three Jedi look in awe as the beast comes out from the brush. The look to find a man, but out came a monster. Looking like a very muscled, hairless dog the moster waves his monsterus tail. Chaos whistle and the creature lays at his feet.::
