Darth Shatan

:: The man that was once Rama Sha stode at the entrance to Bast Castle, alone. Luckly the acid rain has let up just as he landed, a good sign he hoped. He stared out the eye holes of his helment at the gate, he was putting off enough of a tremor in the force that even beings deep withing the strong hold would be able to feel it. Shatan removes a belt full of large powerful thermal detnators, and throws them on the ground as he prepares for combat. ::

I HAVE COME TO FACE YOU...........FACE YOU ALL.

(ooc)

Rama: I haven't shied away from my role as gatekeep even once, and this is no exception. You'll get the same treatment I'd give anyone else. I am going to warn you that I'm not on for more than one or two posts tonight, and since my birthday is tomorrow, don't expect me to be present. Earliest expected return date is Monday afternoon once my last exam is over.

(ic)

The image of a dwarf walks out to meet Darth Shatan. If the Sith Master's powers weren't enough to immediately tell that it was merely an apparition, the fact that it walked through Bast's closed doors should have been.

It stands at the top of the steps and gazes down at Rama with a burning intensity in his eyes. He regards the skull-masked man curiously.

~ Face us all? Lad, ye ken nae even face yerself in the mirror withoot face paint or mask. Fer what purpose d'ye bring yer money-grubbing fingers t' Bast, O he of the Sha line? There is naught ye can gain here.~

Darth Shatan
May 6th, 2001, 11:08:30 AM
OOC: Yes please clean those OOC things outta of here.

IC: This is what they send to me.....a peck.

:: Shatan looks up at the Castle then back at the small Gatekeeper. ::

I have much to gain here, And I don't sugest you try to stop me. The Force is with you, but your powers are weak. You are no more a threat to me then the Jedi are to the Sith, But if you wish to face your maker so soon......

:: Shatan unclips his saber, the green blade slowly slides to it's full length. The green glow sheds light on the otherwise dim settings. ::

Count Mordrid
May 6th, 2001, 07:07:32 PM
A faint laugh could be heard all around Shatan as he approached Bast and activated his saber.

Goodevening, Rama Sha. You're all too kind; I thought perhaps I'd never have the pleasure of being graced with your presence.

Mordrid clutched the thermal detonators through the Force, his shadey figure appearing just beside Rama long enough for the Sith Master to see the Dark Jedi's ghostly features. The belt full of thermal detonator's activated, flying off in a streak of green and red lights. The shrill cry of the thermal detonator's winding down was something akin to a giant and very angry swarm of cricket's, aproaching their feast.

<font size=4 color=gray>Clank.Clank.Clank.<font color=yellow size=4>Plosh.</font></font>

The detonators vanished down a pit of smoldering acid, a large amount of myst rising up from the crevace and blanketing the floor for several feet around. Mordrid's laugh continued to echo through the rocky plains of Vjun.

[i]As my master once quoted to me: "It is unwise to lower your defenses!" I believe it was the last thing I heard for some time after...[i]

:: Rama turned his attention to the direction of the the new Force user. Shatan bet he assumed he couldn't locate him. All these Dark Jedi were argoant in simlar Manner. A biproduct of their lack of serious training. Shatan looks down at the pit of acid. He slides his hand across the pit. The ground begins to rumble, it crack under the strain of the intense amount of force engery being placed on it. Suddenly the acid eurptes sending the liguid acid into the air. But this euprtion was guided by the force. It fires towards the location of the new force user drenching the area. ::

I hope you surived that.....

:: Shatan Turns back to Hob ::

Hob's image starts to chuckle. ~ In a sense, lad. Count Mordrid be a spirit brought from entombment in Bast's walls t' live among us once more. Brought back by me, in exchange for greater knowledge and understanding of the energies of the universe. Of all of us, he was the best suited to survive an acid bath, since he has no body other than the one of energy I made for him.~

Hob's image stops chuckling and becomes less distinct. It proceeds to walk casually down the steps of Bast and peers at the device in Rama's hand, remaining several meters away. ~ What a curious toy. I believe I've only seen its like once. Very curious indeed. Much like the silver balls Mordrid just tossed away. I shall have to obtain one an' study it when I have leisure.~

The image then stares up at Rama. ~ So ye wish t'fight, do ye? Then tell me, lad- what do I get if I win?~

(ooc) Just to let everyone know, I am not the one who plays Mordrid, despite the fact that it was Hob who brought him back from the dead.

Your ignorance of the most ancient of Jedi Weapons just shows how unprepared you are.

What do you get? You get to live.

~ Bah- so focused on the kill that ye dinnae wish t' place a wager on the outcome of our contest. Very well- I shall take my own reward from ye when ye make yer mistake.~

The image of the bearded dwarf disappears. Several minutes later, the doors to Bast open and out walks Hob himself. He stands atop the steps until the echo from the doors indicates that they are closed, then waves a hand and applies telekinetic force to Rama's chest with the intent to shove him over.

(ooc) Yes, that is the real Hob.

DO NOT WASTSE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

:: A Powerful Force wave counteracts Hobs force push. The Wave Impacts on the castle and the whole structure seems to shake, taking Hob off his feet, The force wave takes Hob off his smashing hims through the front gate leaving a gapping hole. Shatan deactivates his saber and returns it to his belt and enters the Castle through the whole opened by Hob. ::

As Shatan's visage approaches the gates, visible light becomes pure darkness. It is as if the man's own shadow had come alive and devoured him, trapping him in the infinite opacity of nothingness. There is no depth or end to a darkness such as that, and Shatan could search, but only to find himself alone in the void.

Or was he alone? Did he hear a voice, faint as it might be? Shatan could barely hear it, as the voice was weak in sound, hoarse and gasping, as if struggling to escape it speaker's lungs.

Greetings again Rama Sha. I see you are a man driven by pointless confrontation. Once, I pardon. Twice, I condemn.

A cackling laughter pierces Shatan's ears.

I am a man of little breath, but I fear that you are even needier than I.

Shatan suddenly begins to wheeze, struggling for his breath.

I see the air has lost its healthful vigor, Rama Sha. Stale, poisonous, corrupted. Breathe it in, and it shall destroy you from the inside. Cease breathing, and you shall merely delay this calamity. The air is venom! Venom, I say! Thou must hold they breath, or lose thy breath entirely! Quickly, Rama Sha. Your essence quick be fleeting!

Rama begins to gasp, unable to tolerate the air around him. Every breath is painful and the next hurts worse.

OOC: Before you magically dispel the effects of what I have done, you must know that I am an extreme specialist in my technique, meaning that I do one thing...exceptionally well. You can escape from this, but there are only certain ways, most certainly not by simply "being a Master".

OOC: this suit has a self contained breathing device, and stop pulling god mode attack outta your ass and fight the right way please.

Emperor Shimi
May 8th, 2001, 03:24:08 PM
OOC: I don't give a damn what your suit has. This attack still will affect you. :) If you wish, consider your air supply poisoned, then. It doesn't matter :)

Darth Shatan
May 8th, 2001, 03:45:16 PM
OOC: It's this part "You can escape from this, but there are only certain ways" I should be able to escape anyways I can rp out without making it god mode or unrealistic. Which is exaclty what I plan to do. Im ignoreing the "You can escape from this, but there are only certain ways" Part of your statement as that would be godmodeing. I will take the impact of the rest of the attack.

IC: :: Shatan Drops to his knees grasping for air. He had to act quickly before he choked to death. He reaches out with the force. Out past the walls of the castle to the c-o-c-k-pit of his ship. The Ships systems begin to start up. it's engines come on-line. The Phoenix lifts off the ground and turns it's nose directly towards the entrance of Bast Castle. Suddenly two Photon Torpeado jump from the Phoenixs launch tubes. They fly ture hitting the main gate. In a huge explosin rocks the whole castle. The Blast Takes Shimi off his feet, but Rama was to close to the gate. the Debris cover him. He tries to use brute strength to get up, but cannot mange it. He coughs in his helment, he can see but he can smell the order of blood. He had just coughed up blood. ::

OOC: In my post above, I specifically said you had no sensation to the outside, but only to yourself, my voice, and the darkness that surrounded you. You would not be able to control your ship under those circumstances. Therefore, you are still locked inside the shroud, choking.

IC:

Rama hears Shimi's voice yet again, as he chokes on his breath.

Rage, Rage against the dying of the light!

OOC: That was a hint, in case I wasn't subtle enough ;)

Jeseth Cloak
May 8th, 2001, 03:56:56 PM
The Mors Dominae dropped into the atmosphere quickly, it's decent bringing it within visible range of the strange masked attacker. Jeseth narrowed his eyes as he looked upon a vessel, taking in the sudden waves of Force energy.

"Can you destroy that ship?"

The Dark Jedi's hand pointed to the craft that was not far below them, judging by the strange looks of it, that it was without a doubt the masked visitor's ship.

Play it the way it is or don't play it all. I can Rp the way I choose Remeber.

IC: :: Shatan again tries to lift the rock off his back, to no avail. He then Reaches down inside himsefl and conjuries up A Force push. The Rock flies off but doesn't go to far. Shatan Removes his helment and Spits up more blood as he sits up. He looks over the destruction of the gate and then back to the tower.

"Almost got myself killed and im not even close yet." Rama thought to himself.

:: He wipes the blood from his mouth with his sleeve. ::

:: The atmosphere was yellow and hazy with the sulfuric clouds and made it difficult for Trace to make out exactly what was going on below. He could see the metal of the ship below and make out its faint outline, but he had never seen Rama’s new ship himself and did not recognize it as being such. ::

“I can try.”

:: The targeting array flickers to life and locks on the vessel, followed shortly by the firing of two torpedoes. The thick air shifts their trajectory slightly and neither hits the target directly, but instead strike the ground behind it, cracking the stone of the great pillar that Bast stood on causing a huge chunk to fall away. The Phoenix tilted and swayed then fell towards the lava waiting below. ::

“Not perfect, but it looks to have been effective.”

:: they get nearer and Trace sees the masked man struggling with some unseen force, but again is not able to recognize him as his brother. The shroud cast by Shimi clouding his perceptions through the Force, further causing difficulty in allowing him to make out a familiar Force signature. ::

OOC: For continuity's sake, this arrival follows the conclusion of <a href=http://pub2.ezboard.com/fswvstitanicstarwarsroleplayingarchive.showMessage ?topicID=3609.topic>this RP</a>, which isn't completed yet.

"Trace..."

:: Rama felt the presence. ::

"What the hell does he think he is doing here? Its to dangerous."

:: He then hears the explosion and sees his ship starting to slip. He reaches out with the force and pushes the throttle full up. All six of the engines blast to life. The Ship begins to tilt up as it falls, Then fires straight up. Shatan grabs his com and raidos his Ship ::

R6?

"Yes, sir?"

What just happened?

"I was fired apone."

Can you handle it?

"im not allowed to destroy humans sir."

Well just avoid them then.

:: R6 takes full control of the phoenix as is straightens out and begins to scan the area. ::

Jeseth nodded.

"Youre assistance is welcomed. Bring us down, I have a feeling that this visitor requires my personal attention."

A few moments passed as the turbine's began to hum down, landing the ship close to the newly arrived visitor. A wave of Force rocked the ship as a snap-hiss permeated the inside of the craft, coating it in a blue hue. Acension came to life within Jeseth's hand as the docking plank opened, revealing Morgan Evanar, Trace Sha, and Jeseth Cloak.

The winged being nearly growled as he realized just who the visitor was: Rama Sha; This would be a day to remember.

Emperor Shimi
May 8th, 2001, 04:13:03 PM
OOC: Nothing God Mode about that at all. I tell you there's a way out. I even hint. You aren't so obtuse that you'd have trouble finding it out. To buy the corrupted air and not buy the shroud is not possible. Without one, the other cannot exist. Therefore, you are still bound within the shadows. I hope you find a way out soon. You should only have about a minute of good air left before you succumb. Re-read my last post. You can escape, you just gotta know how. Absolutely nothing about the situation you are in is God Mode. I'm sorry if you don't like the fact that somebody can out-think you, but, such are the way of things :)

:: The pale face, half Nebari Sith followed Jeseth’s lead, igniting his saber as the exit ramp lowered, the red blade of Disorder spewing from the steel blade surrounded emitter of the saber which Jeseth Cloak had given him. There was something about the saber, which Trace had not realized yet, only having ignited it once since receiving it. It was cursed, cursed to drive its bearer insane whenever used.

The insanity took hold immediately and Trace followed Jeseth down the plank, his eyes becoming red with rage as the influence of the weapon overcame him ::

HE'S HERE! The voice screamed, waking Seth up.

"Who? Wha?" Seth replied half asleep. He crouched up against the outer black wall of Bast, rubbing his eyes. He blinked a few times before their healthy orange glow returned.

See for yourself, over that corner. The voice answered.

Seth slowly hoisted himself up, resting a gauntlet against the hilt of his sword. His legs felt like rubber bands from the position he had felt asleep in.

Quietly, the dark figure crept along the walls, until he reached the edge. A huge amount of dark Force energy was coming from that direction. Some more familiar then others. Seth ever so carefully looked.

"Rama Sha? That is him! I can feel it." Seth growled to himself. "What is that fool doing here."

Make yourself known! Attack him! The voice screamed.

"Not...quite...yet." Seth said letting the hatred flow through him. He blocked his presence with the Force, and quietly came out of the shadows. Seth crept along the path, to the side of the scene. He submerged himself in the shadows the dark sky had created. It would be quite enjoyable to watch the current events unfold.

"Well, well. Look who it is."

The Dark Jedi grinned for a moment, and then it began: The Darkness seemed up from the shadow's of all those present gathering around Jeseth and forming something akin to a cape, coating his wings and body like a living entity. Tendril's snapped up from his arms and wrapped around, ninding themselves like straps, coating him until even his face was enveloped in the darkness, all light and warmth dying away from the winged man's body.

Lets play.

Ascension deactivated, the figure holding it's hilt moving with a blinding speed. Jeseth's presence scattered as a void encased all of Bast Castle, shielding it from the outside world and all outside light. Jeseth had never utilizied the full extent of his powers, and now he would.

Darkness hissed as it spun around the castle violently, picking up wind and debri, tossing around loose pebbles and cooling the lava within. Frost and snow began their decent. Jeseth evaded the Sith attacker, keeping to the shrouds that darkness produced for him.

:: The roar of a ship’s engines caught Trace’s attention and he looked up to see that he had not completed his task from earlier. The ship he had intended to destroy was still functional and unharmed. This angered him beyond end and coupled with the influence of the saber he held ignited in his hand, it made a dangerous situation that much worse. Trace’s Force potential was greater than that of his brother, yet he had not learned how to tap it fully as of yet.

The influence of Disorder would make the unaccomplished possible now. Trace’s face twisted in rage as he concentrated on the airborne ship, finding that its only occupant was a droid. The pale Sith’s hand rose from his side and clenched into a fist, sending the droid flying through the ship, loosing his link to the ship and crahing into the navigation and weapons consoles, showering the inside of the ship with sparks and flames, the light of which was suddenly visible as the resulting explosion burst out the front view-port of the vessel, its trajectory altering, now uncontrolled, diving down towards the lava pit once again. As it fell, from out the cockpit fell the atromech droid, landing on the stoney ridge before the ship continued its plummet.

The contorted face of Trace displayed a smile as he was pleased that he had atoned for his previous failure. He placed a strong Force hold on the falling Phoenix, helping guide it to its complete destruction.::

OOC: Ignore then. You're just showing that you're simply not smart enough to think your way out of a jam.

IC:

Shimi watches from the arrow-slit window in the half-ruined tower of Bast. It seemed that Rama Sha had escaped his illusion. No matter. He was quite affected by the suggestive power nonetheless, enough so to cough blood. It would do, and then he would be swept aside by the others. Glorious, indeed Glorious!

Shimi retreated down a spiral staircase. A few changes in direction, and Shimi was headed into the bowels of Bast. After several minutes of walking, he came across his destination...Vendetta's Hearth. Surrounded by darkness, Shimi bowed in the center of the room. A voice spoke to him.

What is the situation, my apprentice?

Shimi stared into the darkness.

Master, the hypocrite Sha wars against us.

And how does he fare?

Not well, my Master. He shall be swept by the wayside in time.

And if he is not?

Then he is certainly no match for you, my master. He shall be annihilated.

I know this, Shimi. Take care of the task at hand. I do not wish to sully myself with the blood of that fool.

It is understood, Master.

Jeseth drove ascension right toward's Rama's back, aiming just below his ribs.

He saw his brother toss aside the green saber, all of his armor and mask, pulling out a saber, which Trace recognized immediately as his mother’s. The power of the memories flooding his mind were enough to snap him out of the haze for a moment but the torment in his mind was fierce. ::

"Mother?......Brother?........AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! !!!"

:: The influence of the saber and the emotions that came with the memories of Trace’s dead mother were at odds and it caused Trace to drop to his knees, screaming in pain and anguish, but his hold on the accursed weapon did not break. The war waging in his mind continued relentlessly, ravaging his mind to the point where he could not remain conscious. "Sith Lord Firebird, please do not interfere with Sith Rama's fight. I am not threatening you in any way, but going there would not be wise." Seth explained.

Delirion
May 8th, 2001, 05:10:08 PM
They had spent the days since their arrival bent over books she had gotten from Hob. Somehow, during her absence, he must have gained himself access to Jeseth's library.

Jeseth...

She cast the thought aside before she could even finish it. No, that was of the past - she could not afford to think about the man who had once meant so much to her, had been so close to her. She would not---

The castle rocked, a tremenduous loud crackling filling the air. Another tremor ran though the stone, and the glowcrystal that had illuminated the room fell from its holder on the wall, and hit the ground with a loud crash. The room lay dark and silent after that.

As Delirion's eyes got accustomed to the darkness, she heard the sound of pages rustling, a book being closed, then finally a whisper.

"And what do you think was that?"

Delirion tried to reach out with her mind, her every sense alive. Yet the only true sense she got.... the only thoughts she could feel mirrored in her own, as it had been so many times before....

Let's play.

No. This couldn't be. NO! This did not make any sense. Was it his spirit that was still alive in these walls somehow? How could it be Jeseth? He was dead - the last time he had been with her, he had come to her in spirit only, dead to the world. Yet now... it felt different than that last encounter with him.

"Nya? What was that? Someone attacking you?"

The worried tone of Jalib's voice brought her back. Yes. Someone had to be attacking the castle, had to be attacking her brothers and sisters... and Jeseth, whatever he was now.

This was no time to sit back and wonder, and worry. Getting up quickly from where she had sat on the ground, she found her way through the dark, over to the small table where she kept her possessions. Nervous, her fingers felt through the top drawer until they encountered Adalric's saber. It would be needed now.

She turned, gripping the saber in her hand, and hurriedly spoke into the dark,

"Do not leave this chamber unless staying here is a graver danger than what waits for you out there. And then bring the girl with you."

Then she left, pulling the wooden door close behind her, and hurriedly walked down the long corridor towards the exit out of the underground caverns.

"I gave him a gift."

Jeseth's voice sounded dark, scratchy, a contrast from his usual very pleasant tone. The spark's brushed up against the shadow's embalming Jeseth and were smothered.

"He accepted it of his own free will."

A sudden tendril of blue light errupted forth from Jeseth's other hand, shooting up against Shatan's arm and causing him to pull it back slightly. The lightening wasn't amazingly strong, but it was enough. Ascension's blue blade slid in and slashed across the Sith's side.

Count Mordrid
May 8th, 2001, 05:11:40 PM
Oh, how touching Rama! "On mom, please help me!" - You sound like a Jedi!

The laughter could only be heard in Rama's mind, no one else would have suspected...

Come now, you could make yourself a happy home here. Forget it all, forget it all... come home to your mother, she needs you now.

Mordrid's playful voice now warped and twisted, sounding as close to Rama's recollection of his mother's, as a spirit's voice could.

"Please Rama, let it go. Come home to me.... I'm waiting for you here."

Seth quickly got up. He had been expecting and actually hoping for it. He jumped down using the Force and brushed himself off.

Seth sent a message to Firebird. "I warned you for your own good. Now...you...will...DIE!"

The Dark figure began to cackle.

A few moments later he had managed to sneak around the fight, making his way closer and closer to Firebird's ship. The Sith Lord was too busy with Jeseth at the moment.

Seth cackled, putting his hand on the handle of his sword. He pulled it out and focused on his hatred. The blade began to glow as the Dark Side strengthened it. Seth slowly brought his arm back. He screamed, letting the animal rage and animosity take over. Seth ran at Firebird's ship, flinging his sword at it like a boomerang. The firesaber sliced right through the engine, dragging it's way to the power couplings. It cut the viewport windows in three. Firebird nor Rama were not going anywhere any time soon.

"FOOLS!" Seth shouted.

The ship slowly tipped over, smashing into the floor. A hailstorm of rocks both big and small raised off the ground. They flew at the ship impacting and wrecking it. Seth watched, excitement and joy sparkled in his eyes. His task was done. He grabbed his sword, and turned around. It was time to have some fun.

Jeseth Cloak
May 8th, 2001, 05:39:23 PM
Jeseth's right wing cracked as he hit the ground, several of it's bones shattering. The pain filled him inside, adding to his supply of destructive feelings. He remembered the words in The Book fo Anger:

"Let your aggressive feelings flow through you! They will serve those of strong will."

The form of Jeseth once again struck at Rama, this time, snapping several of the shadowy tendrils around the Sith.

I warned him of it's effects. He choose to take the weapon.

A hum pierced all thoughts, intercepting Rama's saber in mid air, the two blue blades locking in a shower of sparks.

"You," Another flash as their saber's collided.

"Will -" Again their sabers sparked together, drowning out the world.

"DIE!" A burst of Force lightening shot forth through the tendrils that had lightly curled their way up Rama's legs. Smoke began to rise off the from the ground, the Dark Jedi's eyes shining blue as his teeth gritted against themselves.

Count Mordrid
May 8th, 2001, 05:46:30 PM
Mordrid's voice jumped through Trace's mind. This was a place he had never visited, and very much unlike the mind of his brother. His voice encho into the Sith's mind:

Trace! Get up Trace! Anger, Fear, Aggression, Pain - Those are the true feelings of a walker of the Dark path. Strike your brother down, and forever be in control of your destiny! Jeseth gifted you with Disorder, now take up your weapon. Do not forsake it's power!

The voice began to fade away as Mordrid's strength weakend. He shot the last of his enegy into waking Trace into conciousness, and then faded back within the confine's of Bast.

Delirion
May 8th, 2001, 05:53:25 PM
As she neared the staircase, something else pushed itself into her senses. A presence that was vaguely familiar, somehow. A presence of a person she had had dealings with before.

Rama.

And then she had reached the top of the stairs, and the scene that was unfolding before her eyes, stunned her. Where once the gates had been, now was a gaping hole... and before it... before her eyes....

A creature stood there, opposing Rama Sha. A creature cloaked in black, surrounded in darkness. Nothing was visible of its features, yet.... there was... no, the saber it held was a blue blade, not the red blade of Disorder.

Disorder.... was lying on the ground, held by a pale man she had never seen before. And Hob stood not far from him, keeping himself back.

Her eyes fell onto the figure attacking Rama again, and again the presence she got from it was that of Jeseth, yet it did not look like him. What was this? A spirit? A monster? What had happened since she had last seen him?

Jeseth?

Then Rama grabbed for his opponent and pulled him over. For a second, she could see the outline of wings, and then she knew. Yet she feared to call out to him. This was not the time. Instead, she watched as he was thrown onto the ground, then got up again to attack the Sith Master once more.

A motion at the corner of her eye made her turn her head in time to see another unknown face, just as he began to state his intention.

Die? I think not so. I shall make him see how foolish he is.

And with her mind, she sent out a calling, a subtle calling to the spirits she called her kindred. And they answered, winging their way in the dying breeze of the evening air; answered with a shrill cry, answered to what she had asked them to do.

Twelve black birds fell out of the sky, diving low and fast, towards the figure of one Firebird. At the last moment, before they reached him, they snapped open their beaks, to expose their deadly fangs.

::Traces eye snapped open and the pain in his head was staggering, but now the influence of the weapon along with the short lived influence of Mordrid, had quelled the turmoil in his mind. All he could see was red and the only thought running through his mind was to take revenge on the one whom had brought him this pain. In his insane state that was the one whom had caused the turmoil in his mind in the first place. The chaos brought to him by Disorder had been interrupted by the sight of his brother bearing his mother’s saber and that was now the focus of the vengeance he wished to take.

He made his way to his feet, the red glow of his saber reflecting off his white face. He scanned the area and looked for the object of his lust for revenge and saw him, lying on the ground a few meters away. Slowly Trace began to walk towards his brother, his eyes not recognizing him as such because of the welling chaos in his mind.

Disorder raised above his head, his walk became a run and a battle cry keened from his lungs as he charged the fallen Sith Master. ::

*Seth hears a voice inside his head.*
So you destroied my ship, very well but I do not think you will be rejoining the fight soon...
*Immedately Seth begins to hear voices in his head, he turns around to see the faces of those he had killed, some of them carrying their heads in their hands. They begin to walk toward him, wailing. Seth then tries the trick he used aginst Lord Firebird's ship, but the figures seem to absorb the power until they are an arms length away. Seth panics at that point. Attempting to punch and kick and even claw his way against them. But to no avail, he falls on his back and begins to see the murders once again, but this time from the victim's point of view, and he feels everything that happens, every lightsaber hit, every killing blow until. If anyone were to look at him laying on the ground fighting against an unseen enemy. And finally a blood vessle in the back of his head pops, and Seth lays there motionless. Unable to move or talk as the immages pass through his mind.*

Jeseth Cloak
May 8th, 2001, 06:06:22 PM
Jeseth recoiled as he hit the ground, his legs burnt badly as well. The Sith Master had known that power longer than he, and he should have seen such a thing occuring ahead of time. He lifted himself to his feet slowly, still glaring at man who had dared to attack his brothers and sisters. The Dark Jedi's chest rose and fell in an animalistic manner as he made his way to Rama, saber still in hand. The collision of power had tossed him several feet rom the man, but it was of no consequence. He would take his life, even if it was to cost him his own.

"Then... SO BE IT!"

The shadows wrapped themselves around Rama, gripping against his neck and squeezing with the strength of a wookie, attempting to smother him. Jeseth began to chant, calling upon something... something deep within the walls of bast...

"Fire's light,
Guide my hand."

Lightening began to strike down from the sky as acid rain began to pour, irritating all those with enough sanity left to be irritated. The clouds began to congregate above Bast Castle, something terrible brewing in the sky.

If space could scream it would as the Ravens powerful engines sent it through the vastness of space. The Sith on board had watched and listended as Rama left, then expected trouble soon after. Trouble followed Rama Sha around like a puppy, unfortunately the Sith had a fate in all this to play so he had made sure to track his fellow Sith, when he detected the destination to which Rama was heading the Sith Master had hardly been surprised.

The cloaking system upon the Raven disengaged as the Sith flew over the battlefield, a bay door opened and the Sith lept out down to the battlefield letting his wings open up, the air flowing under them.

The Sith was dressed up in a black suit that had been made specificly for the coven members to protect them against sunlight, it also neglected acid rain and small blaster fire. Landing behind Jeseth the Sith tapped him on the shoulderr letting Jeseth look in Lynchs eyes that grinned bright green.

"Hello my little chickedee."

Rising one hand up in front of Jeseths face a massive discharge of Sith dark force energy crashed into him. Not looking at Rama but keeping his eyes on Jeseth the Sith spoke to his fellow Sith.

"If you going to leave, next time I suggest you find a better spot for a vacation, hardly any dead around here."

Taking out his lightsaber igniting its dark red beam the Sith smiled once more.

"Although that can change, time to even the odds"

*Suddenly Jeseth feels his power go out of control, blasting back at him. The acid rain and lightening hitting him, blasting back as the shadows parted from Rama Sha. Jeseth then sees Lord Firebird, smiling darkly he walks over to the fallen Sith.*
Now it is a fair fight, and you will not live to see the ending of it.

Or so it appeared to Firebird. Seth could not move, but he could think. The pictures were a delight. He had seen such before many a times.

It was foolish for Firebird to think that someone trained to the level of Sith Knight would be affected by such Child's play. Seth's eyes absorbed even more of the pictures. They only made his lust heighten. If he could move, the maniac would attempt to lick his lips.

The madness made him cackle. He got a hold of himself and used the Force to rise his body up. He sent another message to Firebird.

"You idiot! Did you really think that excellent display would affect me seriously? In minutes I shall regain feeling in my limbs."

While Seth waited, he created a semi-powerful Force barrier to encase himself in.

With until now unrivaled power from the Sith Knight he extended a hand in Rama’s direction from behind and a strong unseen force wrapped around Rama’s throat making breathing completely impossible. The torment in his mind empowering him more so than he had ever been tapping every ounce of potential within him, squeezing tighter and tighter around his brother’s neck. The Ryhhhk swarm that had been called upon Lord Firebird had gone unoticed due to his lending so much attention to Jeseth and Seth. They guided themselves through the Force senses which Delirion imparted on them, zeroing in on their unknowing target. Several of them merely swooped, but sudden blood gushed forth from Firebird's right eye as a single Ryhhhk got through, clwaing at his face and jamming it's fang's deep into the Sith's eye socket. To his molten ears, Rama Sha's heavy breathing was a thunderous echo with the pulsating regularity of a rushed heartbeat. Now would be the opportune time to enter the fray. The air around all of the gathered peoples began to crack and spark, the small hairs on the backs on their necks standing on end. With a monstrous roar and all the power of a raging river, the air cracked and was split as the black tendril of energy arced through the air, lancing through the night sky like a spear. The bolt of black energy struck Rama straight on the back of his head, sending insurmountable amounts of Dark Side power racing through his body, lighting every single nerve in his form alive with pain.

His clawed hands still glowing with the Worked unLight, Darth Rane stepped onto the battlefield, his grating and maniacal laughter charging the atmosphere with an overwhelming sense of dread. He narrowed his eyes, swirling pools of liquid power, and prepared to finish off the infidels, here and now.

Sumor Rayial
May 8th, 2001, 06:41:56 PM
**The dark sky of Vjun became even darker as the sunlight entering the atmospher became blocked by 6 dark silouettes, the ISD 3 and her escorts had responded to a distress call from Star Pheonix II. The task force comprised of ships from Sumor's personal fleet were on their way the planet of Vortex to search for something to be included in their upcoming dark union when the distress call came in. Immidiately ordering the force to change directions they had now arrived to aide the man once known as Rama Sha. A man that Sumor had admired since his first days at the empire. Now he was in need of help and Sumor was bound by his personal honor to give that help in any way that he could.

Turning to his Executive Officer Sumor nodded.**

You have your orders.

"Aye sir"

**Turning to the comm Sumor opened a channel to Dara and his private quarters.**

My dear we have arrived. The suits have been loaded in The Resilience. I will await you in the hanger bay.

**With that Sumor stepped off the command platfrom and headed for the hanger. Once the corvette departed the task force would leave the system and return to Munto Codru to await orders.**

Delirion
May 8th, 2001, 06:46:56 PM
As he had done once before for her, lightning began to strike the ground, called down by Jeseth.

A grin blossomed on Delirion's face.

The birds could not do enough. They were too easy to cast away by just a single hit of a saber. No - this called for something much more powerful.

Standing unnoticed at the side of the chaos unfolding in the castle keep, Delirion began to concentrate, questing out through the Dark Side of the Force, calling with all the power she could call her own out towards the energy tearing from the sky. And pulled it towards her... like she had once been shown.

The lightning struck closer, struck the ground not far from her feet and left white energy running over the ground. She deliberately stood in the way of it, letting herself be touched by the searing white light.

Once more lightning struck.

And struck her outstretched hand, entering through her fingers, leaving a burning mark on her palm as she watched. Once more, she felt the energy burning through her, burning through every cell of her body, filling her up with pain and heat and power. It tore at her mind, threatened to burn through her nerves, set her mind on fire, yet she still concentrated, centered on nothing but the beating of her own heart, the flow of her blood through her veins. Blood made hot by energy... power... the power she now contained.

Power that wanted to be released. She could not contain it - had not yet learned to hold on to it. And she would release it.

But not yet. This time, she would have to contain it. She would have to concentrate, bury it deep within her, store it until needed.

Falling deep within herself, she could feel every cell of her own body. The energy she pushed inside, containing it, holding it back within her, slowly, bit by bit.

It felt as if she was cleansing herself in power, raw energy flowing through her veins instead of blood. She could hear her own heart beat rapidly, and it drowned out all other noise around her.

She opened her eyes. The fighting still continued around her, yet it seemed blurred and vague to her now, the figures moving in slow-motion almost, the noise of the battle distant.

Emperor Shimi
May 8th, 2001, 06:47:18 PM
Returning to oversee the battle, Shimi noticed the arrival of two more who wished to fight.

How droll indeed. I do not think they understand the situation they are in. The Sha is of the Empire no longer. Yet they still wish to follow his foolish ways. They must learn wisdom. Hopefully before it is too late.

Shimi gazes from his vantage, spotting the form of Jedah Lynch. Wrapping his arms around his frail form, Shimi begins to shiver, muttering as he quakes.

Paguasamfah paguasamfah paguasamfah paguasamfah paguasamfah paguasamfah!

The shadows of Bast Castle seem to grow, yet the light does not change. The shadows creep and snake over the ground, until they race towards Lynch. Suddenly upon their target, the shadows leap upwards, as if tangible things, twining around Lynch and plunging him into a deep black abyss, in which he can only sense himself, and Shimi's cackling voice.

Jedah Zaknafein Lynch, you will listen to the words I convey. Beware, for you are about to commit a serious trespass against your kin. Do not wish hurting a comrade for the sake of saving a fool.

Unlike the infidel Sha, you are of sound mind, and may the words I say hit home. Do not involve yourself here. This is a conflict that is larger than it seems. You risk returning home to an Empire in ruin. I do not want this, the same as you do not. Let the foolish Sha die by his own hand.

As for you...sleep, Jedah Zaknafein Lynch. Sleep until this bloodshed is over.

Suddenly, Lynch becomes extremely drowsy, and is unable to resist the increasing urge to slumber. His eyes grow heavy in the dark void, and he feels like laying on the ground, to sleep soundly.

Rage, rage, against the dying of the light!

OOC: As before, there is a way out of this. A definite way. Do not make the error Mr. Sha made and attempt to BS out of this. You can get out, but there is a certain method of doing so. If anything use my last words as a hint.

Trace’s mouth twitched and contorted into a grin as he watched Rama stagger backwards. His thoughts were still so clouded by the insanity that all he could think was destruction. His power in the Darkness grew to unbelievable proportions with each passing moment, his TK abilities being affected the strongest.

Jeseth Cloak
May 8th, 2001, 06:48:18 PM
Jeseth stopped and growled from the sudden surge of colors tossed through his mind, rising to his feet once more with the aid of the shadow's which coated him. He spit forth some blood and glared now at the new arrivals. It was an unexpected twist, and they had caught him of gaurd, but it would not happen again. Rama had managed to get free of the tendrils, but that mattered little. Trace

"Oh, I indeed may not live to see the end of this battle, but neither shall you!"

The clouds rumbled above their heads, shaking the ground slightly, static flashing as the acid continued to pour down, parting over Jeseth's head. The wounds at his feet scabbed over slowly as he appoached Lord Firebird, his eyes still coated in the pure black maw that was the Dark Side. It sent pain through his body, flowing steadily and without end. That was all the power he would need...

He could feel blood freeze against the back of his neck... The shadowed image dissapted, surrounded Lord Firebird with a large number of duplicate copies, all of them baring Jeseth's conciousness within them, all of them like an extention of a hand. The mirror images danced around the man just before swarming upon him, striking with the force of a venomous snake.

Lord Firebird was enveloped, squeezed, smothered... but that was something that the man could escape. Then why had Jeseth bothered with such a spectacle? Perhaps it came to the man as he felt a painful and irritating fongus sprout upon his flesh, consuming his nerv endings and sensory organs, attempting to clog his breathing passages.

Decay was also the will of the Dark Side, and Jeseth would do it justice indeed...

Cardinal Aiyalin
May 8th, 2001, 06:49:32 PM
**Deep down inside the bowls of Bast, the young woman named Cardinal Aiyalin stalked her room. Every day the diseased ravings of a mad Jedi poisoned her thoughts, corrupting her mind. Her soul plummetted more and more towards madness, and the one man who could quiet the madman's rantings was not inside the castle's walls. T

**Suddenly the girl heard a noise, coming from outside. The awareness inside her mind tried to reach out with the Force, but she blocked him quickly. Card was getting better and better at that. She smiled to herself, something was going on. She felt a large number of her brethen outside the walls, and deciding to join them, she quickly left her rooms.

Thou best be careful, girl. There is something happening up there that thy may not haveth the strength to deal with. Allow me to mayhap help thee. Thy will regret it foremost if thou does not.

**He trailed off in a gale of maniacal laughter as the raven haired woman ascended the decaying stairs. As she reached the doors outside, Card stopped in a state of shock. Many Sith were there, and her brethen fighting them. What Sith were doing on Vjun was beyond her; the Jedi suddenly went quiet, probing the visitors caustiously. Cardinal walked forward, her black cloak billowing behind her in the wind.

**She did not want to interfere quite yet, rather wanting to watch the events unfold on the side. Never one for open confrontations, the spider finally came out of her hiding place. Even so the spider did not like the light, she hid back from the fighting as much as possible, knowing that soon her time would come to join in.

**And all along, the Jedi began to whisper instructions to her. Implanting suggestions and thoughts into her mind. She tried to block him out, but soon he had control of her soul. His whispers burrowing into the tiniest crevaces of her conciousness.

Dara Shadowtide
May 8th, 2001, 07:17:07 PM
:: Sith Lordess Dara Shadowtide sat at her desk in their quarters, an array of datapads scattered all about as she worked on the final plans for the upcoming dark union between she and her fiance, Sith Lord Sumor Rayial. She smiled and paused for a moment to glance at her engagement ring, when she heard the comms desk beep. It was Sumor and the time for their impromptu mission had come.

Dara had concurred with Sumor regarding assisting Rama when they first had received the distress signal. The Sith Master had been a legendary figure at the Empire and she would respect him and assist him no matter where his path led.

She gathered her weaponry and made her way to the hangar bay to meet Sumor to depart in her ship, a CR-90 named the Resilience. Stepping on board the custom corvette she found Sumor had already stowed their gear and made the preliminary preflight checks from the copilot's seat. She leaned over and gave him a quick kiss and sat down in the pilot's chair ::

Dara: "Hello there, my Sums. Is everything ready to go?"

Sumor: "All systems ready for take off and the course heading for Vjun is online."

:: Dara smiled and moved her hands over the controls almost without even looking. She knew this ship like the back of her hand and she was going to make sure their trip to Vjun was expedient as time was of the essence.

The ramp to the Resilience raised and the repulsor lifts hum began to crescendo as the ship slowly lifted away from the hangar. She eased the ship out of the bay and as they entered space, she engaged hyperspeed, the stars becoming streaks of light as their destination began to clos in.

En route, Dara and Sumor changed into their modified enviro combat suits, for the surface of Vjun was less than enviromentally tolerable. The toxic acid rain which fell would most certainly cast a lethal twist on their efforts had they not thought to pack the very latest in defensive apparrel. These special suits developed by TSE R&D were constructed of nanite, a microscopic robot which works constantly to repair damage to the outer skin.

Dara gave the last of the instructions to her onboard droid crew of C2-R4, R2-Q2, and K-3PO just as the ship reached the orbit of Vjun. The droids were to guard the ship and monitor all activity on the seemingly barren planet while Dara and Sumor went to find Rama Sha. Dara sat down in the pilot's chair again, wearing her new suit and adjusting to how it felt, and she touched the ship down within distance of an old castle. The ramp was lowered and she and Sumor walked out to the surface and took a look around ::

*The momment the creature touched Firebird's eyeball and began to chew, it was shocked to death. Upon entering the Castle, Firebird had projected a field of electricty that protected him from the harsh elements. This field now fried the swarm into crispy critters ready for dunking. But their controler grabs her head in pain as it is sent back to her. She kneels to the ground, her head in her arms, and blood running from her nose.
Lord Firebird then removes the creature from his eye. He feels a sharp pain from where his eye was once at. He picks up a small peice of metal and super heats it, and then sticks the point of the "scaple" into his right eye socket. The screams of pain quickly turn to howls of anger that echo throughout the castle. In a rage he attacks Darth Rane. Stabing the hot peice of metal into and through Rane's arm.*

Dyne Darkforce
May 8th, 2001, 07:27:38 PM
Dyne steps outside Cardinal's room inside Bast Castle. He looks both ways down the hallway, before facing towards the entrance. A cold draft of wind swept past his body, brushing along his neck slightly. He narrows his eyes as Force energies began to surge around him. There were numerous people he felt within the Force. Dyne began to quickly make his way down the hallway. His hair gently fluttered back against the air. Dyne went past the dimly lit corridors, arriving at the large entrance room. A lightning bolt streaked across the sky, as Dyne looked outside the large windows. The flash from the bolt lit the whole room temporarily. A thunder clap followed as a downpour of acid rain continued to fall outside. The rain tapped against the windows rapidly, ever so relentless. He looked around him quickly, to see if Cardinal was anywhere near him.

"Cardinal!"

It was silent all around him, no answer came back to Dyne. All he heard was a echo of his voice over and over again. His attention quickly focused outside, as that's were all the energy was flowing from. He approached the door then knelt to the floor, placing his palm on the ground. Concentrating upon the Force, he attempted to call forth a Force shield over him. Dyne soon formed Force shield over his body to repel the falling acid rain. A light green aura formed around his body, radiating lightly. He pushed the doors open as he immediately saw members of the Black Hand and TSE fighting each other. Dyne was in a state of confusion for a second, but he knew exactly what he was going to do. He switched his attention to Cardinal as she was watching closely. It seemed to Dyne she was awaiting her chance to help her comrades. He slowly made his way by her, looking at her eyes before turning his attention forward. Dyne turned his hands into two fists before a stern expression appeared over his face.

"I am here for you Cardinal. I will help you in anyway I can, and its a promise."

Dyne wasn't going to deny it, he loved her and his skills would be used to help Cardinal. She glanced at him quickly, a small smile forming over her beautiful face. Cardinal didn't say a word to him for now, and Dyne understood. There was too much going on for then to speak at the moment. Dyne would have time later to tell her what he was feeling. It was all clear for him now, and what he was feeling earlier about her. He awaited patiently, right next to Cardinal. Dyne was still concentrating upon the Force, as the adrenaline began to flow freely. The acid rain fell on the pulsating shield then slid down to the ground under him. His eyes sparked briefly while standing there, under the yellow and orange sky. Many more lightning strikes and thunder claps followed as they all were outside the castle. Dyne situated his feet into the ground firmly, taking a stance as a few veins bulged out his arms.

Jedah Lynch
May 8th, 2001, 07:32:55 PM
The black shadow encased him, hearing the strangers voice he felt tired all of a sudden, a need to rest, sleep. Eye lids began to slid down over his eyes as he feels at peace.

Sleep....rest....at last...free at last..

His arms drop his grip upon his lightsaber going numb, it begans to tip down in his fingers at it unignites. A sudden memory blazed in his mind, the sounds of laser fire, the shine of burning buildings and the screams of men filled his ears. How could there be peace when there was war? He could not rest could he after all this time could he?

A bead of sweet rolled down his brow his mouth moved, teeth gritted, his eyelids twitched. What had the voice said? The Empire in ruin? NO! It would not happen, it would NOT HAPPEN!!!

A scream errupted from his mouth, his teeth shined in the little light there was showing their fang like resemblance. Lynchs eyes opened up no long green but in darkest red, his wings from his back stretched out turning from white to black, several falling off to the ground as the Sith thrased about. Damn them! They could all burn for all he cared. Lynchs rage coursed through him like a burning fire until he awoke, with a primal scream he stretched out his arms wide channeling the force.

A massive jot of dark side energy was unleashed around the Sith Massive tearing he ground away from around him, the darkness that Shimi used seemed to burst under its assualt, where the Sith had seen only darkness his rage had brought light.

The way of Sith was rage, pure emotion unleashed, there was no place for sentiment or happiness in a Siths world or life. The dark side fueled his being and he wielded it like a surgeons knife carefull and skill in his art.

Turning about to lock onto the ones voice he had heard the Sith grinned, was he facing a fellow sorcerer in the dark arts? How intresting indeed. Lynchs lips moved silently speaking in a way few had for thousands of years, words last spoken by the one time Sith Lord Naga Sadow, rising one arm pointing at Shimis destination a cloud of darkness spewed up from the ground near the one titled Emperor, the black cloud had a aura of the darkest Sith magic in them, taking shape a monterous creation stood taking full form its body turning red from black, cranial horns rose from tis skin.

Its eyes opening with an unholy light it took a look at Shimi, drool washing down upon its chin. Not since Naga had one existed, not since the attack on Yavin IV now returned Nagas protectors and slaves, one of the many called Massassi.

<img src=http://www.method.org/sith/massassi.gif>

With one large hand it slashed with its claws at Shimis chest, its mouth opened up showing its pointed teeth as it screamed out loud sending its bile all over the Emperor, the Massassi fully under Lynchs command would not stop until it tore the foe apart.

OOC: Well dont know if that was the way or not but the only thing I could see. Darth Rane
May 8th, 2001, 07:33:31 PM
The white hot metal slid through the Dark Jedi's heavily muscled arm with the ease of a knife through butter, burning away flesh and sinew alike. For all it was worth. It was the molten steel a hundred times more scalding than this hunk of tin that had removed a good deal of Darth Rane's organs. His nose crunched up in an angry gesture as he swung around, burying a fist the size of a roast ham and twice as hard as a leftover fruitcake into Firebird's face, sending him staggering.

Jalib Brandl
May 8th, 2001, 07:48:37 PM
It didn't take him all too long before his curiosity got the better of him. Something was going on, and he'd be damned if he let Nya go out there on her own, no matter who else there was. He hadn't gone through all that with her, saved her from herself, so that someone could come along and attack her.

Doubts still stood in his mind about the exact nature of the feelings he had for her, but the more he spent time with her, the more he saw of her, the more he could not deny that something drew him towards her that he could not resist.

That something made him fear for her now, and fear for her overrode his normal sensible thinking. He knew that if his presence was detected, it would not only be he himself who would be in danger, but she as well. Yet that didn't hold him back now.

Listening to the silence of the room, he could hear the child sleeping in the corner where they had put her, taking even breaths as always. The child would be safe enough for now - he could always return if there was danger.

So it was that Jalib Brandl made his way up into the castle keep, too, slinking in the shadows, evading all other signs of life, until he reached the top of the staircase.

It was chaos that greeted him. Fighting men, creatures of some kind, and rain and lightning dropping from the sky.

Jalib looked around for Nya, and finally found her kneeling on the ground, her hand in her face. He rushed over to her, his hand on his lightsaber, in case she had to be defended.

:: A low rumble permeated the battleground, filling the ears of all combatants in the area. It seemed to be coming from the vicinity of Bast Castle. The heavy iron doors shook with the vibrations emanating from inside, until the multi-ton structures were blown thunderously off their hinges, hurtling outwards.

<font size=50>SCREEEEE!!!</font>

One struck the Massassi incarnation, severing it in half before plowing into the ground, and the other came to rest with a thunderous BANG, in front of Sumor and Dara, kicking up a cloud of debris.

From within, a man could be seen, levitated forth as if brought onward by a chariot of air. His arms were outstretched, guiding his form forward upon the Force. He watched as all of his brethren were locked in battle with each other. Such did not have to come to pass. His aged face locked in a visage of anger, the Master that was Anbira Hicchoru brought his hands together, and compressed the volumes of air in front of him into a greenish sphere of plasma.

With the Force as his guide, Anbira released the plasma sphere, hurling it high above the battleground. The sphere detonated, throwing a shockwave and a thunderous roar of explosive power among everybody. A gust of hot wind dropped everyone to their feet, as Anbira emerged from the castle.

Anbira looked, both to TBH, and to TSE, and his voice carried thunder upon it when he spoke. ::

:: Anbira spread his arms wide. ::

This fight is meaningless. End it, now.

Lasitus Tielle
May 8th, 2001, 07:55:27 PM
[i]It was the lightning that woke up Lasitus. A huge, sinister gash through the dark sky, followed distantly by the low rumble of thunder.

The rain began to dribble down, not in buckets, though the drops were huge. Each made a distinct sound as it splooshed against the stone of Bast Castle. It pittered, it pattered, it's beating in perfect metronome. But there were cries, yells. Lasitus had heard the word 'mother' twice before he had to stand and peer over the edge of his tower. And it was havoc.

His motors whirred lightly as he turned around and walked to the wall. Leaning against the wall was his lanvarok, a true prize. He ran a pale green finger along the edge, an oily blood seeping out. Yes, this weapon, with it's shining Mandalorian iron head and it's long, dull shaft of the same alloy would do nicely against whoever may cross his path.

He sqauted, and quickly jerked up, leaping out of the tower onto the roof of the castle, a few stories down. From there, he lept to the cieling of a shed, from there, to the ground.

He stood still, holding the lanvarok firm in both hands. He twitched his head right, left, no sign of a worthy prey... Yet.

A cold wind began to whip about, wrapping around everyone present, Sith and Dark Jedi alike. Mordrid has renewed his energy, and now that the battle had moved further into the Castle, there was no need to ever retreat into the background. A cackling laughter rattled the minds of all. A thick white myst rained down upon all, seeping from within the walls, taking on a visible form.

The myst froze in place, regarding Anbira with a level of respect...

Seth Darkserpent

"SssssssSSssssSSSsssssSsssssss." His voice hissed on. He felt the unbearable madness in his head. He swallowed hard, feeling the anger. Anger at life itself for creating him.

WEAKLING! DO SOMETHING WEAKLING! The voice inside his head screamed at him. Seth moved his neck and looked down at his fist. The numbness, being replaced by anger as blood filled. YOU'RE WORTH NOTHING! WEEEEEEAKLING! Drums began to beat inside Seth's head. The sound became louder, his eyes now orange swirls turning red. He watched as his fingers moved slightly. The beating got louder, more wild then rythmic. PATHETIC! A low scream erupted from Seth's mouth. He managed to clench his hand into a fist.

"WAR!" Seth coughed out as he weakly stood up. He could feel the blood rushing back in. The dark figure had been absent for most of the fighting. It was time to retaliate.

He grabbed the hilt of his sword, and unsheathed it. He reached behind him and took out his battle-axe. He held both weapons in each hand, madness filled his head. Visions of death and the past floated in his head.

"SssssSSSSSSsssssssSSSsssssss!" The hissing became louder, while the drums were beating.

Seth grinned under his mask. His crown that had fallen off floated back peacefully on his head. Seth turned around, and bit his lower lip. He raced back to the battlezone.

The serpent-like creature that had been Jeseth Cloak before the battle, surveyed the others, awaiting a response. He would end this fight if it was so deemed by all present... Delirion
May 8th, 2001, 08:25:05 PM
As the Ryhhhk had died, she wailed. Her control over them was not so great that it would have affected her, yet she felt the pain of their death in her own soul. Dropping to her knees, she sat there, wondeirng what else she could do to help those most in peril around her.

She sensed Jalib before he could come close. Scowling, she raised her head to snap a short command at him to return, yet how could she command him to do anything? He had come of his own free will - the responsibility was his. Yet she should say something...

But then she sensed someone else's presence, and a shudder ran through her entire body. She had not wished to have to confront this person so soon again, yet it looked like she had no choice.

Dara Shadowtide. Her former Master when she had still been with the Rogue Sith Order.

Delirion uttered a low hiss. It was time to use what remaining power she possessed. Yet not she alone could go against this. Her senses reached out for the others, and she could feel them nearby. Cardinal and Lasitus were standing apart from the fight, watching, waiting. Well, it was time to call on them.

Come my brothers and sisters, we have work to do. There are more.

She stood up, looking over towards the gate, and it was then that she saw Dara step through it, a man following her closely. So she had not come alone. That would not help her this time.

And with a big crashing noise, the door that covered the Staircase flew apart, and out came Anbira, unleashing his anger upon the assembled people. Delirion was thrown to the ground as a wave of energy spread forth from the explosion of the plasma sphere. Her ears hurt from the sound, but she got up on her feet, watching, waiting, Jalib close by her side.

Inside her, the energy would not stop coursing through her veins, seeking a way out. For longer, she would not be able to contain it.

The Sith Knight rose and continued stalking forward towards his brother, not hearing or seeing anyone else as a threat he continued to pry the ground beneath Rama’s feet open, while at the same time utilizing his off the scale TK power state to push down on the Sith Master, to force him into the ground, to kill that which had brought a disruption to the chaos. His eyes glowed red and the veins in his face started to bulge, but he pressed on his attack.

This went beyond any loyalties, since the fact of the matter was that Rama was the most important person in Trace’s life, the one of his family to whom he was closest, but with the day’s events, Trace was not aware of that, just driven to destroy. ::

Yes, Delirion. I shall be there

**Turning on her heel, Cardinal walked back towards where her brethen were. Looking towards Dyne, she nodded and continued forward. Her thoughts were abstracted from the goings on, but she knew Dyne was there for her. As she neared, Card recognized the forms of Lasitius and Delirion, but there was another. She probed his mind, finding something odd. The man inside her mind crowed his delight -- a Jedi ! What he was doing here, Cardinal did not know. Suspicion arose as the dead Jedi began to laugh, obviously finding much delight in a situation such as this. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the one who would call himself Jedi.

"What is a Jedi doing on Vjun?"

**As she spoke those words, Cardinal realized they were not her own. Her conciousness screamed that the Jedi was perilously close to taking over. Fighting the upsurgence within her soul, she wiped the shock off her face.

"Nevermind that, answers shall come in the future. Delirion, newcomers. We shall deal with them now?"

**Glancing over her shoulders, her eyes locked on Dara Shadowtide. Dyne had talked much about her, and even though she had never met the woman.. she recognized her. Time for Dara to be taught a lesson, a lesson in respect.

:: Rama lifts his hand off the gapping wound in his side to show Jedah. ::

I want to see my wife and my kid before I go.....

:: With that Rama Passes out and falls to the ground. ::

:: Trace laid on the ground unconscious. His brother had seen fit to take the item that proclaimed his heritage and birth given right, as well as putting him down with the force lightening. There would be effects though, The influence of the saber was within his mind when Rama saw fit to send the hellacious current through Trace’s brain, and now part of that influence was forever burned into his brother’s mind. Never again would he be completely sane, unless there were some way to free the cursed influence from the very cells of his brain.

For now though, he was quiet and unmoving, the rain starting to beat down on his body and burn him as he lay, his TK field no longer in place to protect him. The warrior was beaten, not necessarily by his own brother, but more perhaps by his own lack of control. Trace Sha would never be the same again. ::

Master...
*The being once known as Firebird Jumps to his masters side. Ready to help him at a moments notice. He also recalls his lightsaber back to him as a precaution only.*

Jedah Lynch
May 8th, 2001, 10:45:05 PM
*Grabbing Rama swinging him over his shoulder, Lynch pointed one hand at Trace sending him over via the force, taking both Shas he turned to the rest.

"We got what we wanted, lets move out!"

A massive blaze of fire errupt in front of LYnch as his craft decloaks landing beside him, the door opening the Sith places both Sith inside the craft. Running to his side is Firebird who quickly enters as well. Jumping into his craft the Sith looks once back at The Black Hand then moves back inside letting the door slam shut behind him.

As Firebird looks over both Shas, Lynch sends the craft from the planets orbit before cloaking once more and vanishing in the vastness of space.

Sumor Rayial
May 8th, 2001, 10:55:48 PM
**Sumor looked around. Seeing the other TSE members preparing to leave he sent a message through the force to Dara.**

Looks like we aren't going to get to play today.

**With a nod Sumor started to head for Dara's ship. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a small droid in the baren landscape. Recognizing it as Rama's droid he concentrated and lifted it off the ground using the force. Bringing the droid with him, Sumor headed back towards the corvette.**

Anbira Hicchoru
May 8th, 2001, 10:59:38 PM
:: Anbira watches his brethren take off in their ship. He crosses his arms, looking off into the horizon...thinking of how badly things might have been.

As he does so, he looks to the members of the Black Hand. Eyeing each of them, Anbira makes sure that all is well. ::

Be mindful of this in the future. Nothing shall come from the annihilation of our brethren.

:: With that, Anbira trudges off...towards the Oozaru II ::

Jeseth Cloak
May 8th, 2001, 11:03:27 PM
;; Jeseth allowed the shadow's to finally slip away, a layer of snow and frost falling to the ground from atop his near-frozen flesh. The Dark Jedi saggered his way past Anbira, following the stairway that led to his study... He needed time to heal. Time to rest. This had pushed him to his limits... ;;

"Goodnight, my brothers. I will retreat to my quarters now."

He stopped in place and looked back, his eyes nearly frozen.

"Nya, I must speak with you."

He turned again and exited to his study.

Dara Shadowtide
May 8th, 2001, 11:09:52 PM
:: Dara spoke back to Sumor via the Dark Side ::

It seems to look that way, my dear.

:: She smiles and nods to him and something catches her attention out of the corner of her eye. She glances at the small band of people looking upon them, not noting anything in particular about the two males, and there was nothing at all to notice about the young raven haired woman, but there was something familiar about the other woman.

Suddenly the initials DS carved into the flesh of the woman's arm strikes a memory. Her lips curl in a smile as she turns and boards her ship with Sumor, the ramp closing behind them. The ship lifts off and leaves the planet Vjun to return to the Empire ::

Delirion
May 9th, 2001, 05:48:19 AM
All she could see, all she could perceive, her entire field of vision was taken up by only one person. They could have decided the fate of the world here amongst these stones as they talked, yet she would not have cared.

Delirion's eyes watched only one person alone. That of the Sith Lordess Dara Shadowtide.

Her arm began to itch again, itch at the spot where once the accursed woman had engraved her own initials into her skin. DS. Like a piece of property, like a nerf led to the market, she had worn it ever since, unable to rid herself of it. It pierced her pride like it had once pierced her skin; ever since that hateful day she had met her former master on that training ground.

The energy contained within her coursed through her body in torrents, tumultuous, gushing, burning through her veins, seeking to escape. Her skin tingled, every pore of her body seemed to glow with it. And her hatred and repulsion for that woman was so strong that all she could think of was unleashing the power, yet... yet she held back somehow.

Held back, until she watched her leave. Only vaguely did Delirion notice the others moving around her, her eyes following the Sith Lordess' every movement.

The fighting had stopped, and maybe this meant peace. However shortlived. She felt no wish to fight anyone... except Dara Shadowtide. Oh, if she could only get her hands on that proud and arrogant woman, hurt that sneering face with all the power she had... what would she give for but a moment of that.

Then the loud beating of her heart was pushed into the back as she could hear that voice she had once thought she would never hear again. Her eyes shifted, fixed themselves onto the figure of Jeseth Cloak. And her will-power shrank, the walls she kept herself hidden behind coming crashing down at that sight of him. She would have lost command over herself, over her mind's control over her body and the power it contained now, and broken down at his sight, if it had not been for the cool and composed manner in which he addressed her.

It struck her like a blow to her head, to her heart even. So cold. He still looked much like he had before his.. his... death... yet he seemed at the same time more and less strong than before. Strong, for all that he had achieved this day, for how he held himself, yet... her eyes seemed to be able to pierce through that layer, that mask he put on, and she saw how weak he felt, how drained he was after this day.

"Nya, I must speak with you."

So dreadfully cold it sounded, so distant. Had he forgotten? Had this transformation he had gone through robbed him of all they had shared? Was he angered at her absence, at the fact that she had not stayed and helped him at a time he had most likely needed her help? He had turned to her once, and almost caused both their deaths as he had wrestled with Adalric's spirit to gain from him all the knowledge he needed. And she had fled from him, from Vjun, and sought out a way to rid herself of it all. Did he now believe her a traitor? How could he?!

The thoughts that had started in worry, ended in rage. Yes, rage, and bitter anger that he would think so of her. And as he turned away and left for the underground quarters, the rage built up inside her and fuelled the simmering power.

Now they were all leaving - Dara Shadowtide along with the Sith. And all she wanted was to strike out at one of them, make them pay. But pay for what? Attacking them all? Costing such a high price? Yes, she wanted to strike out and burn them to the ground, make ash of their flesh and bones, incinerate every inch of them, of her... her. She'd left now. It was too late. Soon only herself and Jalib would remain, Jalib the ever faithful savior. Like Jeseth had once been... had once been at her side to keep her safe from herself.

She needed him not now. Had to be alone, had to rid herself of this storm raging inside her. Hastily, she spoke to Jalib,

"Go downstairs and lock yourself in with the girl until I return. Go now, before my brethren will see and find you. But do not concern yourself if I do not return instantly - there are many things that need discussing with the others. I shall return when I can."

She ignored his questioning look, and turned around, staggered more than walked off into the distance, until she knew she was no longer in anyone's sight. At the edge of the platform, between the last tower-wall and the platform's edge, there was a wide strip of rock, a field almost, strewn with rubble big and small, pebbles upon pebbles of uneven lava stone.

It was there she stopped, and looked around herself. The fire was burning inside her, almost boiling over now. She had held on so long now - never before had she been able to do this, yet now she had learned. And she willed herself to hold on to the feeling of absolute raw power for another moment longer. Just one moment longer.

It was glee she felt beneath the pain. Glee and triumph at her own improvement. At her own strength... something her master had never believed to see in her, believed she could achieve. Yet now it was at her fingertips.

Fingertips...

Her fingertips felt raw and sensitive against each other, pulsating with the power running through her veins. She stretched one hand out in front of her, to look at it, to wonder at the strange glow that seemed to emanate from her skin, but as she did...

It came rushing through her veins, rushing through her body, circulating, pushing forward and into her arm, down her arm and into her hand, down her hand and into her fiongertips from whence it had entered, and then exploded into the air.

Power she could contain no longer. Now it escaped her, all of it. Staring at her hand like it was a cursed thing, she shook it out at the ground, each time a bolt of white energy hitting the ground, rattling the pebbles, melting them, turning them back into molten lava.

And then it was almost over. But before she was fully drained of the power that had held her so long now, she snatched up her arm, pushing it back into her cells. No. This she would store. There was someone who needed that energy more than the empty stone.

Dizzy, her head spinning from the powers she had just unleashed, she made her way back, re-entered the castle, and made her way towards the one place she had dreaded most to go ever since he had left.

Something lay glinting in the light on the ground not far from the broken doors as she passed them. Just a small thing, yet it caught her eye. Curious, she bent down to look.

It was a lightsaber.

When she touched her fingers to it, it gave off a certain presence that was now familiar and hateful to her. It was Rama's saber. How had he lost it? She had seen him hold another, yet here this was his saber.

Puzzled, she picked it up, and wearily made her way down the stairs, towards Jeseth's quarters.

(ooc) Now see, this just sucks. I missed out on 99% of this thread because I had to work a closing shift last night. FRAG IT ALL, WOULD IT HAVE KILLED ANYONE TO EXTEND THIS BEYOND A ONE NIGHT STAND!? I mean, I didn't even get to respond to Rama's first attack, for smeg's sake. :(

Evil Hobgoblin
May 9th, 2001, 04:10:12 PM
(ic)

Hob clambered outside, apparently unharmed. He had surrounded himself with a bubble of pure physical force just before Rama's shockwave of pressure had hit, and so he had survived.

But the dwarf was not worried, nor was he angry. Instead he was quite pleased. He had his reward- knowledge of Rama's pressure-wave technique.

Now, all he had to do was figure out how to utilize it himself.

(ooc)

And because I am not happy, the hunt begins.

EDIT: This post was originally posted by accident under the Pierce name as a single post. I took the second half and reposted it under the Hob name to avoid confusion.

Sometimes it happens that way. It's the nature of the boards, what can you do? :/

Lasitus frowned, ever so slightly. As Delirion turned to Jeseth's beckon, he backed into a shadow, from which he disappeared.

Hours later, he found himself questioning the name Jeseth Cloak had given Delirion.
