Jeseth Cloak
Apr 27th, 2001, 08:03:30 PM
Jeseth laid back and stared up at the hull of his ship.
Alone...
The feeling seemed to play out through the shadows and darkness that filled his ship. Outside, space was just as empty, filled only with the tiny and remote clusters of particles and distant stars. Each cluster held a multitude of worlds and races... all of them ripe for the picking. All of them ready to be used - and then discarded - in the search for true galactic order and peace.
Jeseth's mind seemed to go numb as his eyes glazed over in a comatose state. He was tired... It had been nearly another week without a minute of sleep. it all made perfect sense now...
perfect sense.
It all began to fade away as he heard the ship enter hyperspace with a deafening clap.
Something cried to his mind as his senses began to spiral down, mixing like some distasteful concoction. The cry was an empty one... a cry of one who did not yet know how to cry. The Dark Jedi's eyes suddenly went wide in apprehension. He heard calls for help constantly throughout the Force... many times they failed to communicate their worth to him... but this one was different. This was no mere cry for help. It was like the crying of a child - a powerful child. Somewhere out there, a destiny hung in the balance, and someone called for him to take their hand.
"Shut down all systems, drop from hyperspace!"
Jeseth's ship choked and gagged as it fell from grace, the streaks of brilliant light fading to form the larger picture. It was an asteroid field. He had stopped too late and been far too absorbed in his pondering. A massive jolt tossed the ship off course, sparks flying as a large dent became apparent even from within the vessel. He had to do something, and he had to do it fast.
"Re-route all system: Manual Control!"
A second asteroid made it's approach quickly, but the small vessel evaded it with little more than centimetres to spare. Jeseth's hands moved into a blur as they made their way from the thruster controls to the main turbines, and across a myriad of other controls. Shadows engulfed the tiny craft, and then it was gone.

A green light flickered as words finally began shining through the maw of scratches and deep dents that were littered across the surface of the ship's display. Jeseth's fingers finally released the two frayed wires they had been so attentively manipulating, his eyes glancing over the reading:
<font size=1 color=lightgreen>
West Quadrant...
.
.
.
Bostic Sector...
.
.
.
Myrkyr: Location of the Ysalamiri, and an old republic smuggler hideout.</font>
Jeseth's eyes went wide as he realized that he indeed had lost touch with the Force. The entire planet was a void...
Damn it...
The thought echoed through his head as he glanced up at the sky, ramming his fist into the already dented hull of his ship. Tricks of the mind... It had all come down to this. He could only hope that his distress signal had reached outside the asteroid field in time.

Debris cleared away as he pushed aside a fallen section of a wall. Jeseth had been exploring for quote some time, and the only thing he had found suggestive of civilization was a small research facility about a kilometer from his ship. He could see a trail as someone's vessel made it's decent...
Something about the facility was off... But he would have to return for it later. Jeseth began running back toward's his ship, hoping to catch the arriving "rescuer" in time. He would, of course, kill him and commandeer his ship. He couldn't afford to explain his activities to anyone.

:: He piloted his ship down to the surface, seeing the source of the transmission below. An unfamiliar ship, and a figure running towards it was where it had originated. Trace had to look at the view screen twice, shaking his head and zooming the display in some so he could make out the figure more clearly.
The man’s face could not be seen, but the dark wings on his back made Trace begin to believe the source of the transmission had been who he thought it might be, when he first received the signal. Even though the wings were not the same as they had been before, the Sith Knight believed it may be some kind of effect from what was seemingly Jeseth’s demise some time ago.
He landed the YT-2000 that didn’t even belong to him, a short distance from the other ship and made his way to the exit plank, drawing his saber from his belt, just incase he was greeted with hostility. ::

Ascension's blue blade errupted forth as Jeseth ran into the clearing, stopping in his tracks when he realize that the very man who stood before him was the previous owner of his saber: Trace Sha.
"Well... This is something I didn't expect. At all."
The Dark Jedi grinned just slightly, deactivating the saber and clipping back to his belt. He scanned the area, making sure that Trace had come alone.

:: As Trace walked down the ramp, he saw the saber he had built with his own hands deactivate in Jeseth’s grasp. As he saw this he stopped in his procession down the ramp, near the bottom of it, the shock of seeing one whom he had considered a friend still living sinking completely in. He was speechless for a few minutes as he noticed the Dark Jedi looking around, apparently scanning the area for any other arrivals, almost as if he was expecting some one or maybe even somewhat leery that there was a nearby enemy. Trace reacted to this by looking around himself, checking to see if there was any one with his own eyes.
After a quick assessment of the scene, his head turned back to face Jeseth and he clipped Disorder back on his belt, the hilt blades of the weapon making a clinking sound as they meet his leg. Trace’s voice finally came to him as he posed a question to his friend, whom he had once battled , nearly resulting in both their deaths. ::
“To say the least, it is quite surprising to see you again. How is it that your alive?”

"Someone couldn't leave well enough alone."
Jeseth shrugged as he examined his former saber.
"It wasn't without cost. The Sith Sorcery used to revive me has left my body scarred, possibly for what's left of my life. My life Force now is drawn steadily from the Force, and a daily intake of bacta..."
The Dark Jedi looked across the opening of brush and dead trees, then examined the wreckage of his craft.
"I'm weak here, largely due to the Ysalamiris... I don't think the Force can be utilized properly here, if at all. I'd hate to cross my boundaries on such a sudden note... but I need to check something out through that pass."
Jeseth pointed out into the distance, a large tower slightly visible through the forest canopy and myst.

:: The explanation was cryptic and vague, but Trace expected no less from Jeseth on this matter. The Sith Knight’s head nodded as Jes finished his explanation, then he looked somewhat stunned when Jes mentioned that its place contained Ysalimari. He tried to reach out to the Darkside and found that there was nothing there, an absence of the power he had grown to rely on as always with him, since his training in the way began under the tutelage of Dalethria. It was disturbing, but he could cope, having been trained in general combat at an early age, his reliance on the Force was yet to be that strong. ::
“Sounds like something of interest. May I join you?”
:: He replied to Jeseth's statement about the object he pointed toward off in the distance. ::

Jeseth isn't in trouble.
Well, maybe he is. Myrky, home Ysalamiri, is very dangerous for force users.
The emergency tranmission was mildly encrytped, most likely to prevent response from the wrong people. And get repsonse from the right people? The number of possiblities made Evanar uncomfortable. He began to pace about the modified YT-2400, prying his neck as he pried at the mystery with his brain.
The more he thought about it, the more the urge to find out firsthand grabbed hold. And he got nervous. How would he... react to the absence of the mysterious energy that he oft relied on in times of danger.
Curiosity was simply too great.

"That's what I had in mind. I don't think the atmosphere here favors me... and it's not a short walk."
Jeseth began his trek, Trace following close behind him. He had been contemplating this moment throughout his search for Delirion, since his brief run-in with the Jedi on <a href=http://pub2.ezboard.com/fswvstitanicstarwarsroleplayingarchive.showMessage ?topicID=3529.topic>Tatooine.</a> He knew he'd end up here, though after his visit to Hoth, he had been thrown off. Wasn't the pendant the object of his search?
In the cargo hold of his ship, the body of Fire Hazzard began to go rigor mortis, wasting away as time passed by. It was with that thought that Jeseth realized there were not only scavengers on this planet, but also predators... predators that could pose a threat even to a well trained Force user.
"We're not far now."
The wall before them seemed only to climb higher into the sky, looming above their heads like a monster in wait. Soon Jeseth would know what brought him here.

:: He trailed along behind Jeseth, not sure what was going on here, but from his experience, Jeseth never did anything of low importance, at least importance to himself. They reached the foot of the towering structure and the Sith Knight looked up at it but could not determine if he could even see its top as it stretched skyward. Staying physically alert for anything, Trace continued to follow his friend, his eyes darting all around scanning their surroundings. ::

The same hole waited for them down the side of the wall where the Dark Jedi had visited, and was now plainly visible. Jeseth noticed something he had failed to catch on his first glance: scratches; Something had been scratching away at the wall, and the stoney steps that followed down through it. The creature must have been considerably large, considering the size of the tears through the stone.
Jeseth's sense of smell was one of his weaker attributes, and as hard as he tried to pick up a scent, it was a moot point. His ears picked up even the slightest of noises, some that may be just below or above the human range, but there was stil nothing to warrant anymore caution than he had taken... not for now, anyway.
Ascension flashed to life again, it's blue plasma blade illuminating the way down toward's the stairwell.
"Suggestions, Trace?"
He waited, wondering if the Sith would be anywhere close to eager about this little bit of exploration.

Morgan felt vaugely sick to his stomach. His view simply refused to stabilize, and he had been on Myrkyr for a good five minutes. Yes, the absence of the force should be disorenting, but this was rediculous. Rising from the chair, he took two steps, and fell to his knees.
"Damn it all!" he spat, falling onto his hands. My ear. It's my ear. It may be healed, but I've been comphensating with the force the whole time. Morgan pulled himself up, using the chair for balance. Better, but the room still continued to move on its own.
It took him thirty minutes, thirty damned minutes just to leave the ship. Fortunately, Evanar found he could walk again, with confidence. He scanned the area, finding Jeseth's ship, and one he was not familiar with. Morgan sniffed the air, wishing his sense of smell was more keen. Lacking further evidence, walked into Jeseth's ship, looking for some sort of note. Instead he found Fire Hazzard's corpse, sprawled next to the entrance.
You stupid, stupid girl. How did you manage to incur Cloak's wrath? Looking above the charred hole in the middle of her chest, Fire's eyes were still open with surprise, and mild terror. Morgan shook his head, pulling the lids down, and continued to look for a note. Jeseth's computer lacked any infomation to where he would be going. Morgan walked down the ramp, sniffing the air.
How does an animal follow a scent trail? He scanned the edge of the clearing, looking for... something, some evidence of... ah-h-h-h-h a tower. Maybe there? Glancing at the edge of the clearing seemingly in front of the tower, branches were twisted twisted to the side slightly, twigs snapped, and there were boot heel indentations. Morgan followed the not-so-subtle trail, thankful for living on Taanab on unfarmed land.

:: His own senses were dulled thanks to the absence of the Force at this place, but his own skills were enough to keep him confident that he could handle himself. He took note of the scratches on the wall, seemingly made by a beast of some kind, possibly large or possibly just powerful and eager for something what it could be was a mystery, a mystery that could only be answered by further investigation into what this place contained.
He held Disorder in his hand but did not ignite it. He looked over at Jeseth and then down the stairwell before responding. ::

It had become obvious to Morgan that Cloak and whoever's ship that was had headed twoard the building. Sure of his sense of direction, he quickened his pace. Evanar picked his way carefully, careful to not attract too much attention and not to kill himself by rusing through the underbrush.
Or attract predators, for that matter. Especially the vonskrs. Morgan unconsiusly checked his Desert Eagle and his sowrd, and tapped his coat, making sure his light saber was also present.
He slowed hearing footsteps upon stone. Evanar dashed, now that the brush had thinned some near the structure. Stopping, he took a risk.
"Hello? Cloak?"
Jeseth Cloak
May 14th, 2001, 11:51:51 PM
Moments after Jeseth and Trace had descended into the passageway, the creaking of metal began to fill their ears. A groaning upstart, rusted and mossy steel bending beneath their weight. Jeseth grabbed onto the surface of the tunnel into which they had entered, but it was to no avail. Water came rushing through in forceful waves, a snapping once again sounding out. Trace and Jeseth began to make their way back up toward's the stairwell, but in their path stood a monstrous four legged beast, it's tail whipping back and forth with precision.
"A Vonskr."
Jeseth called out to Trace in a monotone voice, almost as if he had expected the worse. Just as the creature made it's dash towards them, the metal sewer passage in which they stood completed it's withering decay, cracking and sending them both tumbling down in torrents of aged water and debris. The vonskr diligently clawed at the collapsed pipe, unable to dig it's way through to them.
"I guess that means there's only one way out from here... and it's up."
Jeseth glanced around the pitch black of the room, regaining his bearings and rubbing his arm, turning to Trace and finally finding the man's form amidst the silhouettes of inky shadows. A snap-hiss sent out a dark blue glow throughout the chamber, illuminating a multitude of control panels, tempered glass pipe systems, and large sewer passages. All of them seemed to stem off in different directions.

:: Wet and aching from being tossed about in the current of water and debris, Trace looked around the room, lighted by the saber which he had left at Jeseth’s grave site, glowing in the Dark Jedi’s hands. The panels and pipe systems made it look as if this was some kind of control system, but a control system for what Trace had no idea.
He ignited his own saber and its red glow mixed with the blue, casting a purplish light throughout. He stepped over to one of the panels and started to examine it more closely. ::
“Any idea what this place is?”
:: He asked Jeseth, seeing that his friend seemed to know a great deal more about this place than he did. ::

"Cloak!" Morgan yelled after the glow he spied far below him.
The light below him seemed to pause, pondering the voice that called.
"Morgan, get down here. We could use a hand." Jeseth returned.
Evanar investigated the floor he stood on and the floor below. None to stable in it's current state of decay. Suddenly, it began to creak in protest of his weight. Instead of opting for the surprise method, Morgan dangled himself off the edge, and was about to let go when it collapsed. He landed, crouched.
Evanar closed his eyes, and opened them again, them again, darkness dispelled by his vision. Something moved in the rock pile nearby. Deciding not to find out what it was, Morgan dropped down again, landing neatly behind Jeseth and Trace.
Above, stone and metal began to groan in protest of its own weight. Small bits of debris began to fall.

Jeseth glanced upwards, assuring himself that the cieling would indeed hold it's current position.
"I have no clue what this place is, but I'm glad you dropped by when you did."
The Dark Jedi thought for a moment about what Trace had asked him: It might be a geothermal energy plant, though those were, by current standards, quite out of date. As his eyes traced along the tubings which ran back and forth along the darkened corridors, something began to make a subtle sense in his mind.
"I think we should go up toward's the mist."
Jeseth moved Ascension to his right, lending more light to the foggy maw.
"It's my best guess the mist is caused by temperature differences in the pipelines... and assuming these lines are being drawn upwards, they'd likely begin to produce condensation as they rose. Morgan, maybe you're a better judge of these matters?"
Jeseth turned to him, then to Trace. It was a fine mess they were in now... and by the looks of the clawing on the walls, other things dwelled deep within the sewage system that they now stood in.

:: So, Jeseth knew about as much as he did about this place, but had deduced a bit more, comforting. Seems that battle of some type would most likely be ahead of them, from what they had run into earlier and the signs of creatures on this level too. Trace stayed quiet and moved toward the Mist, letting Disorder lead the way. He could feel rage swelling within, but had no outlet of power to use it to feed, and he wasn’t sure where it was coming from. ::

There was a ruffle and a series of evenly spaced clicks behind Trace. Morgan had pulled his Desert Eagle free, slid the ferrous ceramic jacketed rounds out in exchange for one that produced electrified compressed air, much like a concussion rifle, but lacking the same blast power in a trade for unlimited amunition. Without the force, and under such low visibilty, friendly fire could prove a problem with the ceramic rounds. Satisfied with the condition of his firearm, he pulled his saber free, blue-green light adding to red and blue. A thought occoured to him. Why was Cloak here?
"Jeseth, why are we here?"
Jeseth Cloak
May 17th, 2001, 08:05:02 PM
He stopped in his tracks, taking a breath. He knew why he was here... he was here for someone else. But who, he couldn't say. The foot steps started once more, rattling along the walls and echoing over the small bits of gravel which soaked gingerly in illuminated puddles. Jeseth continued to lead them forward, hesitant to answer Morgan's question in truth. He couldn't be seen as being at fault for this situation... It was simply to risky, and he didn't like the idea of an armed and some-what unstable Sith losing his temper.
"I was unaware that there were any remaining structures in this part of the forest... I came to investigate it after I crash landed. I thought if anything, perhaps I'd find something worth taking home with me. I've failed to find Ny -"
He paused in mid sentence, letting the scratching along the misted tubes fill the gap between words. Only a few days ago, he had run Fire through with his sword, and now he was here looking to save someone. Was it Nya that he was here to save? How would they even know her by that name?
"I've failed to find Delirion."
As the mist cleared up ahead of them, Jeseth observed the blue glow of his saber as it blended with another, and much softer, glow. He almost smiled for a moment, losing his place. The other hue was much more apt to be resemble that of the sky, than the watery blue of Ascension. The mist now came at them in smaller, but colder, bursts, frost forming along the floors and walls.
What the hell is this place?
In his mind, the words echoed as if in contemplation of their own existence. He hadn't spoken them, but someone had repeated them to him. He was sure that the voice that echoed was not his own - Though it couldn't be brought on by the Force.
"Well, you wanted to know what this place was..."
Jeseth reached out and felt (weakly) for some source trigger, finally locating a large and frozen switch. It snapped upwards as sparks flew from it's base, the room coming to life, machines humming, stasis tubes revealing their contents to the three Dark Siders who had been fortunate enough to walk in:
Bodies... corpses... all of them suspended in some life-preserving nourishment. Jeseth squinted his eyes and looked about, realizing that the blue liquid spilled all along the floor was from the shattered tubes lining the wall. Half-rotted bodies lay limp, impaled against glass shards.
"Clones.... This isn't what I expected to find."
He moved ahead, forgetting about Morgan and Trace he instinctivly moved toward's one last tube which remained un-disturbed.
It's glow reflected away from his eyes itensely...
<font size=1 color=lightgreen>Subject Status: Critical...

Are you dead?
Jeseth reached out for the panel, running his finger over a thumb-scanner. Nothing. It was configured only to respond to those who had created it, apparently. That was fine by him.
A single hiss sent fluid spalshing across his feet, the gelled and naked man within the tube slipping out and falling into Jeseth's arms. He deactivated Ascension and ripped away goggles from the clone's eyes, watching for signs of life. This is what he had come here for... this... thing. It was a travesty of nature, but that mattered nothing to the winged Dark Jedi. Glancing down breifly at the black-gloved hand which now supported the clones neck, Jeseth realized that he, too, was a defiance of the hand which fate had dealt.

The gellatinous blue fluid coated the thing's face, masking it from a identification. Jeseth looked about the room and noticed that all of the now-dead clones also had dark hair, very similar to the one he now held. What would so many clones of this one individual be used for? It was a waste of resources... Unless, that is, this clone had some hidden potential.
Jeseth slid his hand along it's face, pulling away the thick solution and examening it's features. He didn't recognize the face, but somewhere in his mind it seemed to hit a nerve.
"Does this man look familiar to you?"
He finally turned and acknowleged the others, who had up to now been watching him with a strange fascination.
"I think he needs medical attention..."
Why do I care?
Jeseth paused one more time to think. He was acting very much unlike himself...

Heart beats.
For the longest time, nothing than dull thuds.
Liquid.
No knowledge of anything else. Only the heart was working.
Time passed. Sightless eyes stared out of the liquid prision, deaf ears failed to respond to the gurglings and bubbles. Occasionally, it moved, sending cables and waste reclaimations moving in the liquid. Sometimes there was light. Only the machines that kept it alive knew what that was and only by definition of their programmers. Only the machines saw the failures alongside and more and more equipment failed.
Until one survived.
Movement.
Heart beat weaker.
Thud - thud - thud.
Light. No response.
Explosion.
The computer holding the life of this one noted the rupture of the containment cell and reacted, flash imprinting the necessaries and the skills imprint it held. The connection broke before it was finished, but it would be enough. The computer's job was over and it closed down the life supports, leaving the clone to fend for itself, The tubings disconnected as the clone fell forward in a river of blue growth gel.
Confusion. The mind reeled as it suddenly had knowledge. Instincts never used flared as the brain signalled for the lifeless shell to come active. electrical pulses moved muscles never moved, the lungs tried to work, filled with gunk, the diaphram contracted violently and the body convolsed as the clone threw up. Sounds assulted it's ears, it's eyes burnt even though they were closed. For the first time it felt coldness, wetness. The lungs heaved, drawing in oxygen. It convolsed again, hard enough for Jeseth to lose his grip. The body realised what life was and now it fought to hang on, to solidify it's grip, to live, to survive. Pain coursed through, agony. It fueled the desire to live, to defeat this now new experience. It's back arched in another spasm.
Morgan, staring bug eyed, baarely took his eyes off the clone in horrid facsination to look at the plate that listed the name and number of the clone. "Holy @#%$..."
Jeseth glanced up at the name plate. It read.....

His grip on Disorder became tighter and he felt rage welling up within him, uncontrolled and chaotic. Something was making him want to strike the man down without hesitation, but Jeseth had to have a reason for being here and doing this. The Sith Knight had no idea what that reason could be, but for now he managed to keep himself from following his instinct, an instinct fed to him at least partially by the cursed weapon he held in his hand.

"Don't kill him."
Jeseth's lips curled up very slowly as he thought more deeply about the events which would unfold. Yes, it would be glorious indeed... This clone... this... thing, was a blessing. A clone of one of the most powerful Force users to have existed, and who better to teach it how to use that power than Jeseth himself? Yes, things were looking well.
This is why he had been brought to Myrkyr: To uncover a living relic. From what he had gathered in his travels, Jeseth could well assume that the original Turbogeek had been dead for quite some time indeed... but perhaps not long enough that this one wouldn't be easily mistaken for him. No, he had to safeguard against that somehow... but how? That would be taken care of soon, and in any case, it's not like the clone would be going anywhere of it's own accord for quite some time to come. He would have to train it at the only place where it would be safe from prying eyes, and the destructive consequences of their gazes: Vjun.
This time around, Turbogeek would learn the proper way to use the Force, and the proper path which should have been followed.

He couldnt move, couldnt think, could hadly breathe. Every gasp bought new tastes. Somewhere, some where inside said to keep living, to move. A piece came together and he struggled to move a hand. Hardly a twitch. But he knew something had happened.
Missing.
Missing? What was that? what were these images flashing through his mind?
So what do we do now?
Keep dancing...?
It was hardly a fleeting glimse, a nothing but somehow... somehow incredibly important. A beginning? An end? What did those words mean? What were words?
In fact, who was he? Something said for him to find out. Another part didn't.
The clone let out a groan.

Jeseth looked up to Morgan, who was now watching with a mixture of curiousity and bafflement. He glanced down at DT one more time before lifting him up carefully, unsure of the stability of his bone's and muscles.

Morgan growled low, watching the vonskr. It's tail began to swish about with more vigor. A quiet click echoed slightly, and a low hum began to emmit from the large gun in Evanar's hand.
The vonskr only made two quick steps before being tossed into the air and electrified, yowling as energy danced about it's skin. Morgan blasted the thing with electrified air again, sending it against a wall. Quickly, the vonskr righted itself, whipping the gun out of his hand. The tail blurred around again, and was cut free by the glowing green-blue blade. Yammering, the vonskr tried to leap on top of Morgan, but with a growl, he impaled the beast and kicked it out of the air.
The vonskr skidded across stone, and lay still for a moment. Evanar shut off his saber, eyeing the beast.
GrrrrrrRR!!
It leapt into the air, straight at Morgan. He leapt to the side, and then leapt at the creature, bringing his foot down on the thing's skull.

:: The grip on the saber in his hands lessened as Jeseth spoke. The Sith still felt very uncomfortable around this man, but it seemed the clone had no real recollection of being a Jedi. His Force signature didn’t seem to be that of the light, or even that of the Dark, but it was there, unmistakable in its raw power and potential. The way Jeseth seemed to be handling the situation thus far it appeared he had some intentions for this clone.
Then he turned quickly and swung his saber up in front of himself. The creature’s appearance and attack was sudden and unexpected, with Morgan taking the brunt of it and seemingly dealing with it with no hesitation.
The crunching of the Vonskyr’s skull under Morgans foot was a pleasant sound, but were there more preparing to jump from the dark tunnel? The Darkside wasn’t there to aid in knowing that, so the pale man approached the tunnel, saber in the lead and cast some light in it, his eyes darting from side to side as he was prepared to vanquish anything that might suddenly appear. ::

Jeseth walked forward behind Trace for a moment, gazing past the flowing clouds ahead of them through the tunnel. His steps stopped short, and he turned his attention to the Vonskr which Morgan had beaten. The former Jedi's physical stamina seemed to be unaffected, despite the absence of the Force.
"Someone take that thing with us, if it's possible."
The Dark Jedi smiled slightly and turned to Morgan.
"I think we can find a use for it... and, it's not quite dead yet."

Morgan silently threw the thing onto his shoulder. Most would have found it very inconvient.
Evanar simply took the weight without complaint.
"Cloak, are you sure this is wise?"
Jeseth sort of shrugged. Morgan turned a bit, and motioned to the Turbogeek clone on the floor.
"Want me to carry him too?"

Jeseth cocked a brow and raised the thing up onto his own shoulders, his wings making it a cumbersome trouble.
"I'm not that weak, old friend. Heh."
It took them several minutes to make their way to the entrance they had previously discovered, but only a few seconds to cut a new opening into the roof with their sabers. The journey towards the ships was slow and bothersome, a few Vonskrs crossing their path and quickly darting away at the sight of the near dead corpse they carried. It was pleasing to watch such savage beats run in fear.. though it was surprising to Jeseth that Morgan had handled the situation with such ease on a planet where the Force was all but non-existent... Was he immune somehow?
When they had arrived back at the area where Jeseth had crashed, he tossed Turbogeek onto a bed aboard his wreck. Carefully he collected everything on board his ship of value to him, but all together it consisted of merely a small pouch of miscellaneous items and books. Fire's body was also moved on board Trace's ship. Everything had been prepared for their departure, and now only goodbyes were left to be said.
"I suppose I'll meet up with you again on Vjun, Morgan, if you'll be coming along for the ride... and in either case, there's a few things I wish to show Trace."

:: Now back at Mari’s ship, the Mors Dominae, Trace made his way to the cockpit and prepped the systems for tale off. He for one was ready to get off this planet and be reconnected to the Force. Even with his extensive training in combat, he had grown quite fond of having communion with the Darkside, and he longed to have that returned to him.
The hum of the engines starting filled the air as he waited for Jeseth to finish with his dealings with Morgan and come aboard before he would take the Dark Jedi where he wished to be. He had overheard Jeseth mention the world of Vjun and deduced that would be their destination. ::

Jeseth and Morgan and had finally sorted things out. Jeseth would go back to Vjun with Trace and the woman Fire Hazzard's body, and Morgan would the vonskr and meet up with them after he had attended to some personal business. Jeseth didn't really wish to pry into his former Master's life, and he could only guess that whatever organ had planned would be lucrative and risky.
"I'll meet you at those coordinates. You are to come alone, and bring that thing with you."
He pointed at the now stirring vonskr and shrugged.
"If it dies, fine, but I want to bring a present for Delirion."
Morgan shot him a quick glance, speculating at reasons as to why Jeseth would want to bring this woman any kind of gifts, but the general glance they exchanged told him it was no business of his. The Dark Jedi walked up the ramp to Trace's ship and sealed the hatch behind himself. It would only be a matter of time before Jeseth once again reunited with his dark siblings...

Jeseth certainly kept unusual company. Very unusual.
Corpses of expired Jedi.
This Delerion woman.
A Sha.
And... he set down the Vonskr carefully, trying not to injur it further. Odd, that. I was a large meal not so long ago.
"CAD, do preflight, and then take us to the spot where I pulled us out of hyperspace."
The sounds of an astromech beeping a query filled the Tea.
"I agree, thats a waste of time. No, just give me a star chart when you are up."
...
"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO JUMP SO SOON!"
Morgan's fist slammed into the metal table, denting it, and leaving an imprint of the side.
The droid noises responded with a fearful twitter, and something about being within acceptable saftey range...
"Just don't do it again." Morgan sighed. "Run a diagnostic on the hyperspace comp. Its been a while."
...
"Got stuck with the grav well interpretations, and kinda ignored the fact that we were so close? That is a worry. Do a low level on it, and show me the processor statistics when complete."
Twitters.
"That was fast."
Casually dismissive twitters.
"Yeah. Ohhh. Ohhh my. That explains a lot."
Morgan opened a compartment, pulling free a toolbox.
Soon, there was a bit of clanging, a bit of laser surgery, some "CAD, try it again." a bit of "DAMNIT." a sprinkle of "Ow!" and finally "Aye, about time."
"Anyway, where are going to end up with those coordinates Jeseth gave us?"
Twitter beep twiter Vjun beep beep.
"No further data?"
Negative beep.
"Jump. We'll see when we get there."

Jeseth gave a final nod to Trace as he pushed Fire's body into a corner, sitting in a chair beside his comrade.
"Everything's taken care of here... We can head out."
A few moments later, stars streaked through the view port of Trace's ship, hyperspace folding before them. Vjun would be Jeseth's final stop. He couldn't help but stare at the sickly clone they had recovered, wondering if it would come around at all. Perhaps they should have destroyed it after all, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to him than met the eye.
