PS 6.0 is organized much better. The processor usage might have increased, but the program underwent some definate improvements. Not everyone has to like it... I personally find I don't have to waste as much time as I used to on 5.5... I just work faster with it, and running Win2k I hardly experience any lag at all as a result of it.
