I'm convinced that Dial up users are hindering advancements for the rest of us, since sites have to cater to users with slower connections. Imagine what everything would be like if the slowest connections they'd have to worry about were the DSL/Cable users.

Ug... I just had to jury-rig the plug for my DSL router. Actually, a jury-rig would look proffesional by comparison. I'm honestly surprised it's working. Not to mention that the power lines outside of my house have officially been shot to hell. Florida Power and Light had to perform their own little jury-rig on that, until they can get around to fixing it. So if I disappear for a couple of days, don't be surprised.
