Not just for America. I'm Canadian and this act of terrorism made me sick to my stomach and almost brought tears to my eyes. You see this stuff in movies and read about it in History books, but you're not ready for it when it actually happens in real life. I just cannot fathom who or what would do such horrible things.

This is truly a sad day for the whole world.

It's left people in shock and tears. Not only to those that know people either unaccounted for, or injured, but also for those that have only heard of this. It's instinct for humans to prepare for the worst, yet never expect it to happen. Yet, when it does, it's impossible to get over it.

My deepest regrets and, though I may not be religious, my prayers go out to all of those that have been effected both directly and indirectly on this sad day.

I've got a friend who is a stewardess for United Airlines. And friends who live in NYC and Washington DC.

There are times I wish my RP character was real. I assure you, Missile Gunboats would be swooping down on Afghanistan or Palestine or even if it was an American Group.

Palestinians celebrating...Trade Towers collapsing.

If we find (and I think we will) who did this...There will be hell to pay.

I remove my hat in silence.

Pearl Harbor has happened again. Let's hope the result isn't the same.

You people really need to talk to some people where I live. My Dad, my next door neighbors, all of them, the guy up the street. They all were talking in the street earlier, and decided they want war. Funny thing is, they can probably get that, seeing how most of them work at the Pentagon itself, the rest are government divisions. That have some power.

I'll agree with Hera.

Right now with many of the planes being diverted to Canada the people are being care of due to all thats happened, food, shelter and everything a person needs is being donated or offered to help those who were forced to be diverted during this insane act of terrorism. The people up here will be taken care of until things are safe for them to be flown home safely.

To say the least the States is the family next door, they can be annoying sometimes but when it comes down to it we give a damn and are willing to help out. We may be the country that no one ever remembers but when we can we shall be there to help.

This tragedy is all that is being talked about up here and we hope the persons responsible are brought to justice for this. To those who lost loved ones and family they are in many prayers this night, the world over.

I'm sorry, but I just heard something that really pisses me off...

Apparantly, a bunch of US citizens who were being interviewed, were blaming Canada for this mess, saying we should be more careful with who we let into our country (apparantly, according to them, the terrorists came through Us..)

Does it not occur to them that if they got into Canada, they had to get into the States from There??

Cirr... No offense, but why do you seem so anxious to see this come to a huge war?

Wouldn't it be better if the US just sent in Spec. Ops to take out those directly involved? Kill off the perpetraitors, leave the innocents. Don't lose respect in Any countries, cause the US handles it the best way they can, without killing off any innocents. Those who were rooting for the terrorists realize that we don't put up with that sh|t, and Future terrorists realize they're gonna end up Dead. Win/Win situation. The US proves just how strong they really are, and those oppossing get to learn what Not to do, and change the paths they're on, to pursue better lives..

Because Revenge and Justice can make a man very thirsty.

I've experienced murder and what it does....and if there is no resolution, it leaves a terrible, hollow feeling.

Bin Laden is a murderer, and if the only way vengeance and justice can reach him is through a cruise missile or an M-16...I'm more than happy to help speed him to Allah on a bullet.

Don't try to lecture me on what I have felt in my heart for five years. I've become very acquainted to what murder does to friends and family of the victims...its worse than death.

And I do believe in Righteous Anger, a tool of God. Its a power to change, and I think its getting ready to change the world again.

Jeseth Cloak

Bin Laden is a murderer and he deserves to be brought to justice, but we don't know that he commited this paticular act of terrorism... If a war came, I would want to sign up as well for my own reasons, but I know that war is not the answer and neither is revenge.

Death does leave a hollow gap inside of you, and I know that too (perhaps under different circumstances than yours). That's why I don't want to see this come to a war. More people would be left with hole inside their soul. Perhaps not all of them would be our enemies, maybe many of them would be American's mourning the loss of a loved one who died while fighting for this nations thirst for revenge. That's just my perspective... but that's not to say I wouldn't be willing to fight for this nation if I was given the chance - I just wouldn't be doing it out of anger...

DT...God didn't defeat Egypt through the use of fireballs and didn't destroy Jericho with laser beams.

He did it through the children of Israel...who fought with Righteous Anger.

Bin Laden has ADMITTED to being a terrorist...and Afghanistan has harbored him. Even if he didn't commit this act, he's still just as guilty for terrorism. He's trying, in his own words, to kill every American, because Allah wishes it.

Terrorism is Neo-War....and must be met in kind...not with investigators, but with soldiers.

DT, no offense, but you have no clue of the effects of a loss such as this. Murder is so completely alien from any other way for a loved one to die. Its something that eats at you, and its an agony that is almost as bad as death itself.

Argue if you want to...I really hope you never understand what I am talking about. If you did, you'd know exactly what kind of pain I've seen for five years :(

Darth Turbogeek
Sep 11th, 2001, 11:52:06 PM
Oh yeah? And what did Jesus say... AND DO? He was an innocent and he allowed himself to die. You expect me to say and do anything otherwise that the one I call Savior says?

HE knows what it is like to suffer - probably a good deal more than you claim to. He knew what it was to be born nothing more than crap, lower than lower, to suffer injustice and pain.

Jesus has more right to be angry than you ever will. And yet He died and suffered for others. He was innocent, like those people murdered today. And he will be greeting the murders too - think about that for a moment

His Justice is more than what we can ever do.

I am insulted by you, because you dont know some of the things I have seen and gone through. I am insulted by your presumption. But I will forgive you and allow it to slide.

And further, you really should re-read the areas of the Bible you quote. I didnt see Israelites working with Righteous Anger at all. I instead saw The Lord showing his Power.

I am shocked and disgusted of what happened. I have been watching the news at CNN yesterday and for some time this morning, and have not been up to post anything at all. 3 years ago, I was on top of the WTC. Now it is only rubble. Unbelievable. It is so surrealistic and painfull it makes me sick. Seeing the TV images.. this warzone.. all those thousands of lives lost. This horrible catastrophe. No words can fully cover what I am think and feel right now. A mix of sorrow, anger, shock and disbelief.

Your European friends, we, the entire international community condemn these terrible terrorist acts. This is not only an attack against the US, but against the entire civilised world and humanity itself. The world will not rest until those responsible are hunted down for their crimes. The faceless cowards. We can not allow this to happen again.

But for now, let us think of those that lost their lives. Those that are injured, struggling for their lives. Those that are still trapped among the ruins. Those firemen that risk their lives. Those children that lost their parents. May those that lost their lives rest in peace. May God help all those that lost family and friends.

(Dyne)

I think first of all, we need to calm down. It seems we all are up in each others faces more then mourning. I have a cousin and friend, both of them worked at WTC or near it. I used to live there for a little over a year. My friend barely made it out before everything collapsed. I heard from my father that my cousin was trapped in a clogged subway below when it happened. My uncle is a doctor in New York, and currently is on call to help all the wounded and survivors. I couldnt help but be teary eyed when I heard this mother talk about her conversation with her son when his plane was hijacked right before crashing into the WTC. You could almost feel their pain through the television set.

I try to remain calm, even though I can tell that this bastard Bin Laden more then likely did all this. Its more then disgusting, I cant even begin to put words to how much of a bastard he is. From all the feelings we got bottled up, we all are lashing out on each other. I used to think that Bin Laden will get whats coming to him. He has done numerous terroist acts and no doubt, he was more then likely behind the embassy bombings and the bombing on one of the U.S ships out in the middle east.

Something has to be done, though I dont think bombing all the countries out there will help. That will just start another full scale war. The best we can do is slip into the enemy territory, take him out, then get out. I agree with the special ops idea more then starting a bombing raid. If we start another war, more innocent people will die. I dont think we should have left Sadam go either, his ass needed to die then and there.

I dont know why in this world the good people always perish and the cruel, cold bastards live on to bring more chaos. It gets me so frustrated when I think about that. I have already did what I can from here, donated blood and helped out at the nearby blood bank. I know its all I can do, but I also know that Bush, Congress, and the others involved need to crush Bin Laden's cockroach ass. Its so unreal how they came in and targetted all those places. They need to be paid back. Bin Laden has already sworn to start a holy war, or Jihad, on all of U.S and their allies. They know they can attack head on so they do these cowardly acts, hurting the innocent.

May God bless the unfortunate people's souls, but I think in some matters, we have to take action. I am sorry for everyones losses here, my thoughts are with them. I think we need to reach out to others, be there for them as a person to lean on instead of lashing out. I am always open for someone to message me and ill be happy to talk to them at anytime.
