Is that really good though? Killing the head will only make the body angrier.

It gives us the full option.
Rest assured, we're done with pinpricks...and no, it won't just be lopping off the head of the beast.
That will only be the beginning.
But, it will be yet another tool to use in this war. Next time, when a marine at a foreign embassy spots a known terrorist in the region, we can send them to the afterlife with a phonecall for authorization.
Terrorism is a war...only against a smaller enemy. To kill one man is equivalent to destroying a division of infantry.
We need this option.

They got some nice toys there to go and take out the scum. The US is prepared, they've been building this type of stuff since the cold wars.

Yay, now the US can kill in cold blood as well. There are always better alternatives.
Anyway, IIRC, someone said her Reagan sent a missile to Gadaffi's place. Surely that is an assassination attempt

Actually, that was a surgical strike on a military nerve center.
Of course, collateral damage was greatly hoped for...just couldn't be pursued outright.

More interesting news....
Looks like Pakistan is going to deliver an ultimatum to the Taliban.

Bascially, the Taliban have three days to hand over Bin Laden or Pakistan is going to allow NATO to start moving in...
Both Iran and Pakistan have closed their borders, as well.
