Old Deamonds and New Trials (Open RP)

[Kat Kariena]

Kat Came out of hyperspace just outside the Corellian system.
It had been a long time since she had visited her home planet.
Breaking her old habits of sneaking into the system undected
she brought her ship into orbit around the main planet in the
Corellian system.

"It's been longer than I thought,
" Kat sighed as she answered all of trafic controls questions
and got permission to enter the atmosphere.

Kat's ship
slid through the atmosphere with ease as she started flying with
the back of her mind, her thoughts started to wander. She hadden'
t been to Corellia since she had been taken in by an old Jedi
Master to Thilan. Seeing all the old places that had nice memories
would be nice for a change.

She landed her ship and
walked to the back. Clipping her lightsaber to her belt Kat
ran through a list of things she had planed on takeing with her,
grabed her bag and ran down the exit ramp. This would be an
interesting trip.



OOC: Oh the price you pay

OOC/ I didn't say a word but i think i will drop in anyway \IC
:: Dagger is sitting in a bar near the landing bay watching the ships land to some soft drink. He sees the ship land and feels the strong Force eminate from it and recognises the Jedi Kat's ship, he smiles and walks slowly towards the landing bay, timing it to meet kat as she leaves ::

OOC: Ummmm, you micht want to edit that all it says is ':: Dagger'

OOC: Does Any One Fully Own Correllia? I know that we/TSO own land on it.

OOC: I haven't a clue, last time I checked you landed but you diddn't own it. Then agian I haven't really been involved in any mojor RP's before either.

OOC/ yes i know, i pressed the wrong button, *shrugs* we own part of it but how much, i thought TSC owned all of it, but that was a while ago \IC

Kat ran through the streets she grew up on. Things had changed, but the places were firmillar enough that memories came back. She and Tabby had stolen this from there, she used to sit up on that roof and stare at the stars. Little things from her past that were small, happy memories. Other memories were of the night her parrents were killed. She had woken up in that alley. Barely escaped a few gangsters on that corner. Little things, like small deamonds that she had come back to conquer.

She ran to the lake that was in the middle of the town. She walked over near the water and stared into it's deapths. Kat sliped off into a trance watching the light from the sun flicker in the rippeling water.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Kat suddenly senses a dark pressence at her sholder ::
Slow down my dear, it is quite difficult to keep up with you
:: Kat spins round to see Dagger at her side ::
Pretty isn't it, but saddly the pressance of all this technology spoils it some what
:: He smiles and looks down at Kat and folds his arms, keeping his hands well away from his lightsabres ::

[Kat Kariena]

Yes it is pretty. *Kat sighed, she could sence that Dagger ment no harm . . . for the moment anyway. She kept alert, but kept her hands away from her lightsaber* Why were you following me?

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiled saddly ::
"You are a Jedi, this is a Sith world..."
:: He shrugged ::
"I simply wanted to make sure no harm came to you, that is all"

[Kat Kariena]

*smirk* Now that's a surprise comeing from a Sith. *motions back towards the street she took to get to the lake* You aren't the only one's I have to worry about. I've got some old 'friends' who would love my head on a platter, frow growing up too.

[Lord Dagger]

:: sighs ::
Well actually i wanted to give you this
:: Dagger hands Kat a beutifly crafted Lightsabre made of some strange black material with two gems, one green and one red where the buttons should be ::
Take it, my apprentise destroyed your last one so...
:: He leaves it hanging ::
Now, would you join me for dinner, i'm getting rather hungry

*Kat surpressed her surprise and took the lightsaber* Thank you. *motions back towards the town, slightly leery of the Sith still.* Lead the way.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles and leads them into the town proper to a VERY fancy resteraunt which he enters without pausing. Once inside they are met by a waiter droid who leads them to Dagger's private box and gives them a menu before leaving ::
Normally i wouldn't do this but i need a favour, but more on that later, food first, try the fish it is very good
:: Dagger calls the waiter droid back over and places his order of 12lb of rancor meat and waits for Kat to order her meal ::

*Kat walked in behind Dagger, she tried not to show how uncomfortable she was at being at such a fancy place. She wasn't very hungry so she took Daggers advice and ordered some of the fish. She keenly picked the word 'favor' out of what he said. She had been drawn in and she knew it.* What kind of 'favor'?

*Kat walked in behind Dagger, she tried not to show how uncomfortable she was at being at such a fancy place. She wasn't very hungry so she took Daggers advice and ordered some of the fish. She keenly picked the word 'favor' out of what he said. Sometimes I regret ever being a smugglar. she thought.* What kind of favor?

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles as the 12lb Rancor steak arrives and he take a mini lightsabre and begins to cut the steak ::
Really its not that bad, infact it is quite simple
:: He take a mouthful of the steak ::
You see, i sense something is comeing, something big and dark, and when it does i will lose, when i do i will have nothing, i want you
:: He points at Kat ::
To kill me when that time comes, to take my gift and drive it through my heart

[Kat Kariena]

*Kat nearly choked on her drink at hearing Daggers words* Am I hearing you right?

[Lord Dagger]

:: Smiles slyly ::
"That, my dear, depends on what you are hearing, if for instance you are hearing that i want you to marry my dog then no"
:: The smile fades ::
"If however your hearing that soon i will want you to kill me then yes you are hearing right"
:: Dagger take another mouthful of the monstrous steak ::
"I am ill, very, very ill and i do not want to die like that, i want to die with honor, at the hands of a Jedi"

*Kat didden't know how to reply stright off. This was a very strange thing to hear from a Sith.* You want to die at the hands of a Jedi? Why ask me? I'm sure that there are other Jedi who are much greater that would make your death, in your eyes, more honorable.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles slightly ::
"I need to die by the hand of a Jedi i know, and i some strange way trust."
:: Dagger looks into Kat's eyes ::
"I think, that perhaps i can come back but i will need my body, most Jedi would simply destory it, i think you have more honor than that"

[Kat Kariena]

I can't just kill you for no reason though.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Looks shocked ::
"Really, why not, i'm a murdering Sith, it is your deuty as a Jedi to destroy me"

[Kat Kariena]

But I see no honor in just strikeing you down, murdering Sith or not you have done nothing to harm me yet.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles ::
"I would have expected nothing less from a true Jedi"
:: Dagger suddenly grippes his heart and his face screws up in pain ::

What the- *Kat imeadeately stood up and almost leaped over to Daggers side to try and help as best she could.*

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger holds his had out to stop Kat ::
"I'll be fine, it's the illness i spoke off"

[Kat Kariena]

*Kat stoped short* What kind of illness is this?

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger chuckles dryly ::
"Don't worry it isn't contagious. It is the slow decay of the medichlorines in my body"

[Kat Kariena]

That's . . . not good. *sits back down in her chair* How did you contract this illness?

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger chuckles ::
"I was cursed by an anchient Sith for not being true to the Dark path"
:: He smiles ::
"As people always told me, i'm too nice for my own good"

[Kat Kariena]

*winces* Being true to your path is important, but everyone has a diffrent path.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles ::
"Yes my path is indeed 'different',"
:: He sighs ::
"Perhaps if it had not been for Thrawn i would have become a Jedi"
:: He sighs again ::

[Kat Kariena]

How do you mean?

[Lord Dagger]

"Thrawn destroyed my world, wiped out my entire race except for Chryn and I, had it not been for that i would have no hate and would have become a Jedi, that is why i am not true to my path, i have little hatred"

[Kat Kariena]

I'm sorry. Most would of expected me to be Sith, beacuse of what happened to my parrent's. Yet I am a Jedi.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles at the irony ::
It seems that we have each otheres paths, perhaps this was ment to be...
:: His voice trails off as he is lost in thought ::

*sighs* perhaps.

[Lord Dagger]

:: He smiles evily ::
"Or perhaps not..."
:: He leaves it hanging expecting the jedi to draw her own conclusions ::

[Kat Kariena]

*shakes her head* The future is yet to come, we do not know what it holds.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Smiles slyly ::
"No but we can influence it"

[Kat Kariena]

True, but sometimes it's best just to wait and see.

[Lord Dagger]

I prefer to make my own destiny, if you prefer to have your choosen for you then be my guest

I said sometimes. If I can control my destiny I do, but there are somethings that I can't control.

[Lord Dagger]

Such as what my dear? I find that everything is controllable if you know how

Like death, death of friends and faimly.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles evily ::
"Even they, for true masters of the Force, can be controlled"
:: He smiles again ::
"You will see what i mean, soon"

*mumbles something alont the lines of can't wait*

[Lord Dagger]

:: Looks hurt and then laughs ::
"You should be pround to witness the feat that i shall pull off, it has never been done before and never will again"

[Kat Kariena]

Than it shall be very interesting won't it?

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles ::
"Intresting but painful, for me anyway"
:: He looks at the time ::
"Well i fear i must be leaving you now"
:: He stands and bows, as he comes up he takes her hand and kisses it ::
"Until we meet again, dear lady"

[Kat Kariena]

*Nod politely* It was a very interesting conversation.

[Lord Dagger]

:: Smiles slyly ::
"And i hope it is not the last such, now please enjoy the rest of your stay here on Corellia, if any Sith give you any trouble tell them to come and see me"
:: With that the Sith Lord bows again and leaves, paying both tabs as he goes and leaving Kat to wonder at his meaning ::

*Kat watched Dagger leave before she left the restarunt herself. She wandered abck to the lake where her origonal goal was to be. She liked being by the lake. It made her feel at peace even though there was almost a war rageing within her. She sat on the grass and stared into the lake as she thought about the conversation she had had just a little while before*
