The Loss (Open)

[Satine Capashen]

{OOC:This is timed about the time I took a break from EZBoards for a while, about a month and a half ago. No sigs past the fist post you do. I truly don't know what anyone might put as responses so this story-line is extrmely flexible.}

Satine Capashen sits in the command chair of a small Carrack-class ship in his Dragon Fleet, the Valkerie , and contemplates what he is going to do...He has a choice, cruise the galaxy, and basicaly do nothing, or he could try and stage an assault on one or more of the annoying pirate's bases around the galaxy.

I'm not tough enough to take on the Sith myself, he thinks, but pirates should be some fun...

"Pilot," Satine says out loud, "Contact Steel Dragon Squadron, and tell them to roundevous with us at the pirate base located in the Onicarras sector. Sources say that it is one of the bases allied with the Sith factions. Engage our hyperdrive and head for it at best speed."

With that, Satine gets up, and heads towards his quarters, a cramped little room, but it serves his needs. The young Jedi plops down on his bed, and begins tofall asleep...

[Kaine Darklighter]

Satine's dark room had concealed Kaine, who was sitting on a chair in one of the corners. Kaine wasn't quite sure why he was on this ship, but he was. Turning his head slightly, he looked out the small window in Satine's quarters, and watched the stars and planets turn into white streaks, as they went off into hyperspace. Grinning slightly, he turned back to Satine.

"Hello, Satine.." Kaine said from the little corner.
"Who ar-"
"A fellow Jedi.." Kaine cut him off.
"Why are yo-"
"I don't know.. But now it's my turn to ask you a question.. Where exactly are we going?" Kaine cut him off again.

Satine growls as he keeps getting interuppted, but says, "To a pirate base, called Black Vise, where I will rendevous with the rest of Stell Dragon Squadron-part of Dragon Fleet-and destroy it. IT is a Sith affiliated pirate nest."

[Kaine Darklighter]

"Pirate base? Sith Affiliated? Oh this'll be fun.."

Kaine grins slightly, then stands up, motioning for the door. "Is there another room I could stay in?"
"Down the hall..
"Great.."

Kaine walks out from Satine's room, and wonders which way Satine meant. Walking straight back into the room, Satine was facing the wall, and almost instantly knew what he wanted. "Go left, then the first room on the right.."
Kaine nods, and walks out of the room again.

Turning left, he walked down the, while letting his hands run against the walls. Seeing the room on the right, he walked over to it, and opened the door. The room was small, but it was enough. It had a small bed, and a window. Walking over to the window, he looked outside, and watched the stars streak by, as they were on there way to that pirate base.

Satine decides to check on the weapons he has brought with him. The Jedi gets up, and takes out two sabres, a antique katana, and two blaster pistols, cleaning them, and doing other things that make sure the weapons are in proper working order, kepping track of the time left in his head.

Walking from the small window, Kaine lay down on the bed. It was comfortable for such a small bed. Sighing softly, He stared up at the ceiling.

I wonder when we'll get there..

He thought to himself. Suddenly, a small beeping noise erupted to the ship, which made him jump to his feet. Time for some fun.. Walking out from his room, he went out to the command bridge, to see Satine already out there.

“Droppin' outta Hyperspace, eh?”
