::In the frigid mountains of Dertania, the cold has been said to be able to freeze almost anything in a matter of seconds. But high atop an icy peak, some bit of life can be seen in the otherwise desolate landscape. A mound of snow quivers as something shakes off the snow that had covered it. An annoyed growl is heard revealing the figure as Aisha who sits there as if meditating. Despite these freezing temperatures, she sits quietly as if lost in thought. To the untrained eye, she would appear nuts to stay out there, but in reality Aisha is in endurance training. The time spent here would work on her tenacity as she withstood the bitter cold. Her defeat to Anbira Hicchoro had made her realize that she had neglected her training and had not been honing her skills since she had been spending all day working in a local repair shop. Although she appeared to be just sitting there, in her mind Aisha was replaying her recent battle and noting where she had made her mistakes. As she sat there, she somewhat missed her trainer’s company since he would often endure the training with her. But that would be impossible since he was killed on one of his contract jobs. His death had been sudden and unexpected, but there had been nothing Aisha could have done to help him. A ruthless outlaw by the name of Trodaki had stabbed Himari in the heart with his sword and even though she could do nothing to help Himari, Aisha had gotten her revenge. Trodaki’s death had been slow and painful as Aisha slashed him to death in the demon cat mode of the Ctarl Ctarl. When she had collected the money from Trodaki’s bounty, she felt none of the usual elation of having so much money instead it was a constant reminder of Himari’s death until she spent it. After spending 15 years with Himari, Aisha now felt lonely without him. Even though Himari hadn’t been related to her in anyway, he had been the only partner Aisha had for a long period of time. Aisha had tried several new partners but none of them seemed to work well with her, they all seemed to lack something Aisha couldn’t quite put her finger on.::

::Several hours later, Aisha has long since left the mountains and is walking up to a nearby ship. A oafish-looking man stands in the ship’s doorway and smiles as she walks up::
Did you find what you were looking for up there?-the man
Considering I wasn’t looking for anything, no. Here’s your fee, I would like to go to Tattooine now if that’s possible-Aisha ::sneers as she hands over some credits to the man::
::The man counts it before grinning widely:: For this amount, I’ll take you anywhere, this will pay my ship’s docking fees for several months-the man
Whatever-Aisha ::growls as she walks into the ship::
::Early the next morning on Tattooine::
Now where do you want to be let off? In the city?-the man
Here is fine-Aisha
Here? But we’re in the middle of one of the deserts?!?! You’ve got to be kidding!!-the man
No, I’m not, now let me off here-Aisha
Sure, but I don’t see why you want to be let off here-the man
My reasons are my own, I’m only paying you to transport me places not to ask why I do what I do-Aisha
::the ship lands:: Now how long ‘til you want me to come back for you?-the man
By nightfall should be fine-Aisha ::says as she walks down the ramp and out into the desert::
(She’s crazy to stay out here, the temperature gets to be over 120 degrees in the shade. Why would she want to be out here?) ::the man thinks to himself as he takes off and heads towards town::

::Later that day::
::Aisha reaches up her hand and wipes away some sweat that has dripped into her eye. Practicing with her bokuto,(a wooden sword) she swipes at the air or slashes nearby rocks in half and despite the heat, she doesn’t appear tired at all. She uses a specific patterns of slashes and swipes and does so repeatedly, using the same pattern as she would use in battle. Some would call this training senseless, but it was also a test of her conviction to her goal. If she gave up, she would fail herself as a warrior of the Ctarl Ctarl, but she wouldn’t allow that as she continued to train even when she began to tire. The sun’s merciless rays attempted to warm up the sand to unbearable scalding heat but she pressed on, refusing to give in. To fight the boredom and quiet, Aisha pictures her last opponent Anbira in front of her. Her training intensified as she took out her anger over her defeat on the imagined figure. So long into the morning and into the afternoon, Aisha’s training continued under the intense heat of Tattooine’s sun. Her race was well known for their determination and Aisha wasn’t about to give into a little heat exhaustion. And as she trained, she could almost hear Himari’s shouts for her to continue. Even though he was no longer with her, it seemed he would always be with her in spirit::

::As night falls across the desert and the temperature drops dramatically, Aisha looks up to see the man’s ship coming towards her. As the man walks down the ramp, his eyes widen in shock, noticing blood on Aisha::
What happened? Are you okay?-the man
Hmm? Oh that, one of the local beasts attacked me but I killed it-Aisha ::says in bemused tone::
::Nearby a large panther-like beast lies sprawled out in a bloody mess on a sand dune, looking as though something had slashed it to death::
(What the hell? Did she do that?) ::the man thinks to himself before he remembers the stories of the Ctarl Ctarl being able to transform into some sort of demon. Quivering slightly in fear, he chooses to remain silent, not wishing to see it for himself::
::Aisha smirks as she reads the man’s thoughts:: (Afraid of me, huh? Hehe, pitiful human, I wouldn’t even have to transform to end his miserable life)

::Later, a bear-like beast runs frantically over the sand dunes and when it reaches the mouth of a large gorge, it stops to sniff the wind for any sign of its enemy. Still terrified, it runs into the gorge, and not too far away Aisha smirks as she looks at its tracks in the dirt:: Headed for the gorge, ne? You can run but you can’t hide from me.-Aisha
::Aisha stops to look closely at the rocks and notices a slight gouge from the creature’s claw in it. The creature races through the gorge until suddenly something pounces from behind it, grabs it by the nose and wrenches its head back until its neck breaks. Aisha lets go and surveys her work, grinning widely:: You were good prey but nothing can get away from me.-Aisha

::A few days later::
::Back on Courasant, Aisha hands over the final payment to the man before walking down the darkened streets of the town. As she walks, she bumps into several people unintentionally since she is lost deep in thought. As an overly drunk man grabs her by the front of cloak, she is finally shaken out her thoughts::
Just what the hell do you think you are doing, wench?!?!-the drunkard yells
Let me go now, you don’t want to see what will happen if you don’t-Aisha
Oh really? Just what are you going to do to me? Go right ahead-the drunkard
You asked for it-Aisha ::smirks as she stabs the man in the neck with her claws then slashes downward to the man’s stomach. The man falls without a sound, bleeding freely from his wound::
Are you all right, miss?-a passerby asks
Me? I’m fine, but he can’t say that I didn’t warn him-Aisha ::smirks::
Do I know you?-he asks ::as he tries to get a closer look at her face::
No, I don’t think so-Aisha ::says while turning quickly away from him and heads out of town to find a place to rest for the night::

::The next day, Aisha leans on a nearby wall scanning the crowd. Finally one catches her eye, a dark cloaked figure:: Hmmm, a Sith or a Jedi, this should be fun.-Aisha ::waits a few moments to let the figure fade into the crowd before beginning to track it. After awhile the Jedi/Sith begins to get uneasy as it feels someone is watching it. The Jedi/Sith turns quickly but sees nothing. High above on a nearby rooftop, Aisha smirks before jumping down and continuing to track him or her.::

OOC: this is an open rp so feel free to jump in anytime as the Jedi/Sith or whatever. And no, Aisha won’t kill you, she’s only tracking the person to break up the monotony of being an assassin without a contract.

(Coruscant was a planet of many extremes, and its bustling energy was impressive and awe-inspiring at times. Jubei had chosen the planet as an excellent spot to exercise in his tantric meditation. If he could succeed in such a distracting environment, it would surely prove that his mind was at peace.

Preferring to wear the dark evening attire of the Calanic monk, Jubei walks the streets of Coruscant, taking in the sights, and letting his feelings flow through him as his Jedi Masters had taught him. He could feel a kaliedoscope of emotion and spirit, flowing around him. However, somewhere, Jubei begins to notice a presence that is somewhat different from the rest. He cannot be any more certain of why, but Jubei decides to simply continue his daily ritual. He continues walking the streets, letting himself mingle with the feeling of so many minds.)

:: Aisha smiled as Jubei tried to ignore the feeling that he was being followed. A foolish thing to do in most cases, but Aisha was merely tracking him since she found the Jedi and the Sith very interesting. She knew this one had to be a force user since he gave off that feeling of power that she couldn’t quite explain. She had heard of the force but most were too afraid from their previous encounters with the Jedi and the Sith to really be helpful in explaining it. Most of the stories spoke of the power they held and of some instance when one of them was angered by accident, but the rest of the stories always seemed to be pure rambling gibberish::

::As she continued to track him, Aisha could tell that this particular one was a Jedi. Instead of cowering away, the villagers took no real notice of him unlike how they did when some of them recognized her. Aisha always tried to keep a low profile when she was out due to the large bounties on her but still most people feared the Ctarl Ctarl. She also knew because of how Jubei acted, he looked around often but it was always done quietly in sharp contrast to the Sith she often hung out with who seemed to draw attention regardless of whether they wanted it or not. Like most of the people darker side, they gave off an unfriendly feeling in the first place, but that was generally due to their past since most had something horrible happen that turned them to the darker ways of fighting and living.::

Mar 8th, 2001, 01:34:37 PM
::Aisha often was found with the Sith due to her past and she seemed to belong with people like herself. Although she got along with the Sith, Aisha was generally aloof by nature, so she never made allies quickly. But that was the life of an assassin, it was often a lonely life but until Himari’s death she hadn’t really noticed it. The one thing she could never quite get used to was the silence, life was never quiet around Himari. Even though he had been the militaristic fleet leader of the Ctarl Ctarl, the time he spent with Aisha had brought back his sense of fun. When he had trained her, Himari often tried to do something to throw her off when she was trying to concentrate such as mumbling or humming. A constant presence by her side, she and Himari had brought down many blood-thirsty and ruthless outlaws together. And up until his death, Aisha’s life had never been dull. Himari had always been with her for the last 15 years, and she still caught herself looking over her shoulder for someone that was no longer there. This silence that now seemed to follow her was the reason why she came to Courasant, the town that never seemed to quiet down even in the wee hours of the morning. But now wasn’t the time to dwell upon the past, she had prey to track. Even though it wasn’t quite the same as tracking down an outlaw for the bounty, the Sith and the Jedi made for a difficult enough quarry in the way they always seemed to sense her presence slightly and did their best to lose her was sufficient to hold her attention. But try as they might, no one could lose Aisha even in the bustling, crowded streets of Courasant.::

::She growls slightly as rain began to fall, he had died on a day that it had been raining, the day that Aisha’s world was torn apart for the second time::

::Six months earlier::
::Aisha and Himari can be found waiting in the dark shadows of an alley. Aisha casts a furtive glance around the side of the wall and her eyes fall across a large cloaked figure that towers over the crowd that he walks through:: Is that him?-Aisha
Yes, that’s him, Trodaki, he’s worth over 100,000,000 credits to whoever manages to take him out. Are you sure you can handle this? It could get rather rough with him, he’s going to be a hard one to kill and I wouldn’t want to see you get hurt-Himari
I’ll be alright, I know the danger of this life but I don’t fear it only the weak worry about death-Aisha
::Himari smirks:: Spoken like a true assassin, shall we go then?-Himari
Ready when you are-Aisha
::And in the quiet stalk of a cat hunting its prey, they begin to follow the hulking form of Trodaki. After about 15 minutes, Trodaki starts to walk down a dimly lit alley and they follow at a safe distance. Trodaki continues walking for several minutes, walking down alley after alley and high above him, Aisha and Himari jump from rooftop to rooftop following closely behind him. After awhile, Trodaki walks towards a nearby hovel of a building, opens the door and glances briefly over his shoulder before slamming the door behind him. Not too far off, two pairs of eyes glitter in the shadows. Himari gestures to Aisha indicating towards a small window on the side of the building before heading towards the back door of the building. Aisha nods and sets off, leaving Himari to go in through the back. Aisha looks up at the high window and knows that it will take a gigantic leap to get up there. As her claws dig into the sill of the window after just barely jumping high enough, Aisha hears the sound of a struggle inside. She pulls herself up and jumps down into the room. When the sounds of fighting and scuffling continues, Aisha knows Himari is fighting Trodaki on his own and races across the room and down the hall as quickly as she can. But when she gets there, she is already too late. Himari is crouched on his knees in obvious pain as he holds one hand up to his chest, Aisha rushes to his side:: Are you alright, Himari?-Aisha

I’ll be alrig—Himari ::says as he tries to stand back up but then falls heavily to the ground::

Himari? Himari?-Aisha ::yells as she starts to try and help him up but soon pulls her hand away and it is covered in blood from where she touched him:: What did you do?-Aisha ::says as her eyes narrow into an icy glare at Trodaki::

Me? We had a little fight and he somehow ended up on my sword, I don’t know how it happened-Trodaki ::says sarcastically while holding up the sword and its blade is thickly coated with dark scarlet-colored blood::

Why you little!!!-Aisha

And what are you going to do, little lady? You can’t hurt me-Trodaki ::smirks, stretching out the numerous scars that mar his face. As he brandishes the sword in front of him, Trodaki’s beady little saurian eyes fix intently on Aisha and a mocking light shines within them. Nearly three times her size, Trodaki has no fear of the Ctarl Ctarl woman in front of him::

I can’t, huh? You will pay for this with your blood!!!-Aisha ::yells as her eyes widen and a wild look shines within them as the transformation begins. Lightning like energy begins to surge from her as she throws her head back and roars loudly. Surprised and confused, Trodaki backs up slightly but holds his ground. Suddenly fur begins to appear all over Aisha and within a few moments, she transforms into a white striped demon tiger-like beast. Trodaki backs up in fear until he feels the cold feel of the wall behind him and is unable to back up any further. Baring razor sharp teeth, the tiger flattens its ears back to its head before leaping at Trodaki. Blood splatters on the wall as growls mixed with Trodaki’s screams fill the room. But almost as quickly as it began, the room falls silent as Aisha makes one last slash with her claws and then turns her blood stained muzzle away from the ravaged carcass that was once the ruthless outlaw, Trodaki. Walking over to Himari, the tiger prods Himari with its muzzle. Himari looks up at her with a somewhat twisted grin::

You got him Aisha, very goo—Himari ::says in a voice no louder than a whisper before his eyes glaze over and his body grows cold as ice::
::The tiger whines slightly before throwing its head back in a thundering roar. It lays its head briefly on Himari’s neck still whining sorrowfully before dashing out of the room to get as far away from all of the death as possible. Aisha runs through the desolate, rain soaked alleys for hours, not caring where she is going or where she ends up until she collapses and transforms back to her normal state in exhaustion. Her energy completely depleted, Aisha drifts off into an uneasy, troubled sleep.::

::But the rain doesn’t last for very long though and the sun soon casts down its rays through the gaps in the clouds. As Aisha readies to leap the gap between two buildings, she hears a small rustling sound behind her and raises up a hand to her sword hilt, but as soon as she sees what caused the noise, her hand drops back down to her side. A teenage boy and girl look cautiously out from behind the half-decaying door to the roof. Aisha smiles briefly as she watches them out of the corner of her eye before looking away in the direction of Jubei. Raggedy and with grubby hair sticking out in all directions, the boy looks unafraid as he glares at Aisha and a wry smile crosses his face. With her hair pulled back in a loose ponytail and looking just as dirty as her friend, the girl on the other hand looks petrified::
It’s her, Aisha Klan Klan, the one we saw on the wanted posters-the girl ::whispers to the boy::
I know it’s her, Rei, shut up. She doesn’t seem to have noticed us yet, maybe I can sneak up behind her and kill her-the boy ::muttered angrily back and scowled at the girl, causing her to back up slightly::
But Akira, you can’t kill her, you don’t know how to fight, she’ll kill you-Rei
Who says I can’t fight? How hard can it be? Besides with the money I’d make from killing her, I could buy anything. She can’t kill me if she doesn’t know I’m here and her death will be worth it to make a name for myself among the bounty hunters. Everyone has to start out somewhere so why not start with a wanted assassin?-Akira
::The girl scowls, grabs him by the back of his cloak and tries to pull him back down the stairs. But the boy struggles and they begin to bicker back and forth with each other while Aisha watches them with mild interest out of the corner of her eye. Despite her countless contract kills, Aisha detested having to kill children, they were too innocent, not yet old enough to have committed any serious enough crimes to warrant their deaths. She had been innocent long ago before her parents were taken from her due to a maniac’s desire to kill the group of the Ctarl Ctarls who had been trying make treaties with the Rigans, but those days were over. Soon after her parents death, she had been found by one of the few remaining members of the fleet that had been sent there, Himari who took care of her and trained her to be an assassin. But without Himari, Aisha’s life had been missing something. The youths continue to bicker until the girl shoved the boy out in annoyance and he began to walk toward Aisha. Aisha watches him approach and stand behind her with his sword poised to attack but Aisha could see the fear in his eyes despite how hard he tried to hide it by looking cool and collected. With just one look into his eyes, she knew that he was no more than a mere boy trying to act like a hardened warrior. Aisha smirked as she decided to let the boy know that she knew he is there:: And just what do you plan to do with that, little man?-Aisha
Kill you-the boy
Really now? And why is that?-Aisha
Because you kill people, I’ve seen the posters with your face on them, so I’m going to make a name for myself by killing you-the boy
Think so, huh? And you seem so determined too-Aisha ::says without even looking back at the boy::
::The boy growls angrily before charging towards Aisha. But before he can reach her, Aisha turns and throws a dagger at him, knocking the sword out of his hands, and sends it flying through the air where it embeds itself in the building’s roof near Aisha. Pulling out it of the roof, Aisha then bends the blade in half before throwing it at the boy’s feet. Stopping in dead in his tracks, the boy stares awestruck up at her but Aisha doesn’t return the look as she scowls and turns away::
Don’t take the path I did, little one. Just go back inside and don’t meddle in things you can’t possibly understand, you’ll be a lot better off that way-Aisha ::says quietly before leaping across the gap, leaving the boy and the girl still staring after her::

::When Aisha caught up with Jubei, she still wondered about the ways of the force since she had seen very little of it. The Ctarl Ctarl had a similar life force but as far as she could tell the force was slightly different. Her CC life force had allowed her to keep up with the force users but the power she sensed from them often distracted her when she was around them. Most people knew about the Ctarl Ctarl’s demon tiger transformation, but only a few people knew what the Ctarl Ctarls were actually capable of since very few had survived it and those who did had been reduced to jittery, timid imbeciles. Aisha had been told that her ability to sense the force was a very rare thing among non-force users which she found rather puzzling. Why was she able to sense it when most people couldn’t?::

Sensing that it was an excellent mingling place for many people, Jubei stopped, carefully removing his dark over-robes, and folding them into a square on the ground. In his traditional monastic white, Jubei sat in the lotus position, on top of his over-robe. Closing his eyes carefully, he began to meditate. Although he cleared his mind, he could still detect the strange Force signature near him. It was still approaching. Not entirely sure of what to make of it, Jubei's eyes opened. He placed his hands calmly in his lap, and looked in the direction his heart told him to look. It was there he would find whatever he searched for...out among the masses.)

Choosing to still stay on the rooftop, she looks down at Jubei, wondering why he just sat there as if waiting for something. This was weird to her, of all the people she had tracked, none had waited for her approach, they all ran until the end. As far as she could tell her life force was strong because every time she entered a room, the force users all looked at her curiously. But Jubei seemed completely calm and collected despite the fact he seemed to know she had been following him. Even the most ruthless outlaws were unnerved by her presence following them, so why wasn’t this one? ::As Aisha felt Jubei trying to sense her mood, she tensed out of habit since the other force users did that as they tried to figure out her life force aura was. She then put up a mind block since the force users often tried to read her mind as well, yet another one of those skills Aisha didn’t understand why she had and other people didn’t. And even though she didn’t quite trust him completely, Aisha returned Jubei’s smile::

Interesting that you should mention that, you may just be able to answer a few questions that have been plaguing me for most of my life. Since you can sense me, you must have some knowledge of the force right? I have a few skills that I’m not sure why I have, I can track energies and read minds*, something that doesn’t exist in my race as far as I know of. So I was wondering what you may be able to tell me about the force so I might be able to understand why or to clear up the matter of whether these skills are really the result of the force at all.-Aisha

The woman looks around briefly at each merchant’s wares before moving on, to Naziddah this couldn’t be a better target, very few women travelers knew how to defend themselves so this one would probably be no exception. Silently sneaking past her, Naziddah waits in a nearby alley. When she passes, Naziddah grabs her from behind and pulls her into the alley. But instead of being an easy target, she backhands him across the face, sending him sprawling into a garbage can that he trips over landing flat on his back and causes quite a lot of racket. Naziddah curses loudly, holding his hand to his face and blood drips through his fingers from his recently broken nose. Seething with anger, he growls at the woman who turns to face him, drawing two sais to defend herself.::
What’s an outlaw like you, Naziddah, doing stealing from travelers, huh? Is the arms smuggling business not giving you enough profits to live on?-the woman
::Naziddah’s eyes open wide in shock, wondering how she could possibly know his name, then he notices the tattoo under her left eye, the woman was an assassin. But before he can move, a large cloaked male jumps down from the roof and lands with enough force to crack the pavement beneath his feet. The newcomer glares icily at Naziddah with a look that would send chills down even the bravest warrior’s spine before drawing a long samurai sword and brandishing it defensively in front of him::
Are you all right, Aisha?-Himari ::asks, glancing back at her::
Yeah, I’m fine and look who I found…-Aisha
(What the hell? How can he be strong enough to do that? Oh no, he’s a Ctarl Ctarl! Aisha? And if she’s here, that must be Himari! Two Ctarl Ctarls?!?! Of all the bad luck! Why me?) ::Naziddah thinks to himself. Cowering up against the wall and looking completely terrified, he staggers shakily to his feet before bolting down the alley::
::End Naziddah’s Flashback::

::Not too far away, Aisha smirks:: What an idiot, he would do a lot better if he calmed down and thought about what he was doing. At this rate, he’s only going to die tired-Aisha
::Himari chuckles slightly:: True, but the threat of death tends to scare even the most cold-blooded warrior, can you still sense where he is?-Himari
Yes, I still don’t know why though, you can’t sense him.-Aisha
Must be a gift.-Himari
Don’t give me that, no one around here can do it, I’ll find out what it is one of these days-Aisha
I have no idea what it is but we should get going if we want to catch him-Himari
Whatever, ready when you are-Aisha ::says before jumping down and beginning to walk through the congested streets::
::Himari stares after her briefly, but he knows he shouldn’t tell her what he suspects since he isn’t really sure of it himself, so he growls to himself before following after his pupil::
::A few minutes later, Himari looks over the heads of the crowd but can’t find any sign of Aisha or Naziddah::
I hope Aisha is having better luck finding him in this mess. I can’t find anything in this, these damn people keep walking through his tracks.-Himari
::Naziddah casts another wary glance over his shoulder but sees nothing. But when he turns back around, something slams into him. They both roll several feet and before he looks up to see a large white tiger is pinning him to the ground.:: AHHH!! Who are you? What do you want?-Naziddah
::The tiger smirks, baring razor sharp teeth:: Hehe, prepare to die, Naziddah-the tiger
::Naziddah then notices the tattoo under the tiger’s left eye:: No!! It can’t be you!! You couldn’t have possibly tracked me in this crowd!!-Naziddah
Unfortunately for you, I can track your life energy, so no one can get away from me-Aisha
But that’s a for—Naziddah ::says but can’t finish his sentence as Aisha stabs him in the throat with her claws::
You talk too much-Aisha
::But if Aisha had waited, Naziddah would have said that her tracking was a force power. Unfortunately for her, Naziddah wasn’t quick enough. Aisha roars loudly to signal to Himari where she is before transforming back to normal. A few moments, Himari appears and grins widely::
Very good, Aisha, that’s another 10,000,000 credits to spend for killing Naziddah. It’s nice how that worked out that he found you first, with that power of yours, we can track anyone.-Himari
If only I knew what it was-Aisha ::says quietly while casting a brief glance over at Naziddah’s body::

::Aisha sits meditating in the mountains of Dertania as Himari sneaks up behind her with a snowball in his hand::
I wouldn’t do that if I were you-Aisha ::says warningly without looking back at Himari::
Do what?-Himari ::says, trying his best to sound innocent::
Drop the snowball, Himari-Aisha
::Himari drops it:: Actually I came to tell you that we have another job, apparently Kori is here-Himari
Moony? What’s he doing here?-Aisha
Yes, "Moony," I would guess the usual gem smuggling, the Myce Ruby is here now on its tour of the universe-Himari
::Aisha sighs:: Let me guess, he’s been hanging around there lately checking it out-Aisha
Yep, the museum’s security office called us right after he left-Himari
How much is he worth?-Aisha
45,000,000 credits-Himari
Sounds good to me-Aisha ::smirks::
::Later on the roof, a slight glimmer from the eyes of a cloaked figure can be seen looking down through a large window::
There it is, soon you’ll be mine-the figure ::smirks baring razor sharp teeth. Wolf-like in appearance, a large moon shaped scar can be seen just under his right eye hence the nickname Aisha used. He scrapes one his claws along the window pane quickly grabbing the cut out piece before it falls to the ground and sets off the alarm. Reaching through the hole he just made, he tries to undo the latch on the window. But all of a sudden, something grabs his arm, pulls him off his feet and dangles him about a foot off the ground::
Having fun, Moony?-a female voice asks
Let me go, dammit!-Kori ::yells, drawing a dagger and slashing behind him but his captor dodges and lets go, letting Kori fall hard to the ground::
Who the hell are you?-Kori ::yells and draws a long sword::
My name is not important right now and neither is his, Moony-the female voice ::says gesturing with her head to another figure on her right::
Stop calling me that! You’re going to pay if I don’t get that ruby!-Kori ::yells and charges forward at Aisha with his sword raised high above his head. But before he can reach her, Himari draws his own sword, stabs Kori in the stomach and then slashes outward.::
Hmm, this one doesn’t seem worth the money that was being offered-Himari
::But with his back turned to Kori, Himari doesn’t notice Kori slowly rising to his feet and beginning to move towards him. Aisha looks towards Himari before drawing out two chains with weights on both ends::
Duck, Himari-Aisha ::yells and Himari quickly does so. Aisha throws the chains and they wrap around Kori’s arms and legs. Aisha pulls out a small device, pushes the button and throws it at Kori. As soon as it hits, Kori bursts into flames screaming in agony.::
Thanks, Aisha-Himari
Anytime, but I know why his price was so high now, he was an android-Aisha
Huh? How do you know?-Himari
That sense I have didn’t work on him, I felt nothing from him-Aisha
::Himari looks briefly at Kori’s remains and sure enough melted metal meets his questioning eyes:: Hmm, you’re right, I wouldn’t have turned my back on him had I known that-Himari
Well there was no way of knowing that, but that’s what partners are for-Aisha

::As Aisha continued to look at Jubei, it soon became evident to her that he didn’t have the answers she needed. So after briefly saying farewell to Jubei, Aisha headed elsewhere. Later on the planet of Dertania, Aisha stands in front of a grave stone with Himari’s name etched into it. Six months earlier, after she had come to her senses, Aisha had brought his body to this place since it had been where she had trained with him for the past 15 years:: (Damn you, Trodaki! If it wasn’t for you, Himari would still be alive, if only I could have gotten there sooner…)
::Aisha gets the feeling she’s being watched but her senses find nothing. The faint crunch of the snow giving way to a small animal’s weight is heard so Aisha pays it no heed since it was probably just a rabbit. Feeling the light weight of something on her shoulder, Aisha turns her head slightly and looks into a pair of jade green eyes that are just inches from her face. Meowing plaintively, a jet black cat perches on her shoulder. Aisha strokes the side of that cat’s face and it starts purring loudly:: Griffen, I haven’t seen you in quite some time. I would have taken you with me when I left, but I couldn’t find you. You miss Himari too, don’t you?-Aisha
::The cat looks at her for a moment then looks at Himari’s grave before meowing sorrowfully again. With one look into its luminous eyes, it was plain to see that the cat missed his deceased master. Griffen had been the loyal pet of Himari for several years and seemed to enjoy every moment he had spent with him, watching every move Himari made with a happy looking shining in his eyes. But there was no joyous look in his eyes now as he looked at Himari’s grave, only a look of misery remained. In truth when Aisha had returned here to bury Himari, the cat had been missing, she had searched the house but the cat was nowhere to be found. Jumping down from her shoulder, Griffen rubs up against her legs and meows again::
Hungry, ne? Well let’s see what we can find in the house, I bet you’re tired of hunting down your own meals-Aisha
::But all of a sudden, Griffen flattens his ears back to his head, bares his teeth and hisses menacingly at something behind them before standing defensively at Aisha’s side::
I had a feeling I would find you here, still mourning him?-a voice ::asks with a slight sarcastic tone::
::Aisha growls:: Get out of here, Zoku!!-Aisha
::A figure smirks beneath the hood of his cloak, baring razor sharp teeth in the process. He looks like a large Saurian but odd stripes and spots mark his scaly skin. His hide is marred with hundreds of grisly scars and is so ravaged that it seems they cover every inch of him. One of them cuts jaggedly over his right eye and it is so damaged that the eye is white with discoloration that it looks as if he is probably blind on that side.:: Not until I pay you back for what you did-Zoku
Pay me back? Your brother killed my master! Trodaki deserved to die!!-Aisha ::yells while drawing a pair of sais and taking a defensive stance::
Well you killed him and I won’t stop tracking you until I kill you!-Zoku ::draws a long sword::

::Begin Flashback::
::When she got there, Himari’s body still lay where it had fallen, but another person was crouched by the body of Trodaki. The figure looks up upon hearing Aisha enter the room and his eyes narrow into a glare full of hatred:: What happened here?-he asks
::Aisha bites the inside of her lip, debating if she should tell the distraught newcomer the truth. But the man’s eyes dart up to a bit of blood in Aisha’s hair that the rain hadn’t managed to wash away. Putting two and two together, the man rises to his feet and grabs the sword Trodaki had dropped when Aisha had transformed:: You did this to him, didn’t you?-the man
::With one look into his eyes, she knew no matter what she said, the man would still attack so she chose to remain silent. She knew nothing would be able to placate him as long as he was in this state::
It was you, wasn’t it? You’ll pay for this-the man ::yells and starts towards her::
::Even though Aisha could handle him, she felt it would be best to get out of here as soon as possible. Swiftly, she picks Himari’s body up, puts him over her shoulder then throws a dagger behind her in the direction of the man. Instantly an agonized scream echoes through the building followed by the sound of objects breaking as Zoku staggers around the room. Aisha glances back over her shoulder as she sprints out of the room to see the Zoku grimacing in pain and holding up his hand to his right eye as blood drips through his fingers. Aisha grimaces as well, she hadn’t intended to cause so much damage but it was too late now. Without looking back again, Aisha raced out of the building and faded into the crowd::

::And now Zoku had returned, looking for revenge once again. Aisha gave him an appraising look before smirking, she knew all it took was one large wound before she could ditch him again. A rumbling growl is heard at her side and a large black panther stands in the place Griffen had occupied::
I had a feeling that was a Ptarl Ptarl, you Ctarl Ctarls seem to like keeping fellow lycanthropes around as pets-Zoku
::Aisha smirks, Zoku was right and she knew Griffen would be helpful in this fight. Baring his teeth and snarling again, Griffen looked extremely ominous as his tail lashed back and forth behind him. Crouching down briefly, Griffen pounces on Zoku and pins him to the ground. But Zoku brings up both feet underneath Griffen’s stomach and kicks upward, throwing the panther away from him. Flipping to his feet, Zoku charges forward at Aisha with his sword raised high above his head. Aisha quickly blocks with one of her sais but then notices Zoku is grinning. Before she can figure it why, Zoku draws a dagger from his belt and stabs it deeply into Aisha leg then slashes it jaggedly out. Ignoring the pain, Aisha lashes out with her other sai, slashing a large gash across Zoku’s chest and causing him to step backwards a few feet. Aisha’s eyes dart down to look at her leg, noting that the blood that flows freely and thickly from the wound. This had to end now, that laceration would slow her down too much and she needed to stop the bleeding soon before she bled to death. Zoku grinned widely, seemingly proud of what he had done and moved in to attack again with a kick at Aisha’s side. But instead of hurting her, Zoku soon felt pain himself as it shot up his leg when he hit something very solid. Aisha smirks before drawing out a blaster rifle from the loops it hung from on the inside of her cloak. Swiftly she swung it around and whacked Zoku full in the face with the butt end of the rifle before bringing it down on the base of his neck, knocking him out cold. Aisha scowls briefly at Zoku before limping over to check on Griffen who has now transformed back to normal. The cat wheezes as it tries to catch its breath but seems otherwise unhurt. Mewing softly, Griffen jumps up into Aisha’s lap, checks out Aisha’s wound before looking fearfully up at her. Aisha smiles before shooing him away and ripping off a long strip from the bottom of her cloak. Wrapping up the wound tightly to stop the bleeding, Aisha rises slowly to her feet. She winces slightly as she puts her full weight on it but otherwise doesn’t show any hint that the wound is bothering her. Griffen jumps back up onto her shoulder, apparently not wishing to be left behind again and Aisha sets out for Darzel’s ship, the man who had transported her to wherever she needed to go before.::

::After walking through the decaying doors of the bar, Aisha sits down on one of the stools in the front of the bar. She winces slightly in pain because even though the bleeding has stopped, it still hurt like hell. As Griffen purred right by her ear from his perch on her shoulder, Aisha patted him on the head before ordering a drink. Upon taking her order, the droid beeped and left before returning with her drink. Taking the drink from the droid, Aisha took a sip only to wince at its acrid taste. It seemed the drinks that the terrans drank weren’t like the drinks of the Ctarl Ctarl. Aisha sighs slightly before ordering another type, maybe that one would be better. But once again, it wasn’t, these terran drinks not only tasted bad but it would take a lot of them to get her drunk because by Ctarl Ctarl standards, the terran drink alcohol contents were very low:: (What am I going to do about Zoku? It’s only a matter of time before he tracks me here. I can’t just keep fighting him forever and it can’t be much longer before he brings his fellow Kei pirates in to help him. She had gotten away again, and again he had failed to kill her, failed to avenge his brother’s death. The very thought of Aisha getting away caused a sneer to cross Zoku’s features as rage shone in his eyes. It irked him that she continued to elude him every time:: (Now is the time for reinforcements, it is time to call in a few favors that my fellow Kei pirates owe me. ::The next day, Zoku lands on the planet on Courasant flanked by a few new allies. With three long gouges across his face, Gurinada, a pirate whose sharp-shooting skills were unmatched by anyone in the universe, smirked darkly at passing travelers causing them to cower back in fear at the very sight of him. Gurinada’s past was shrouded in mystery but there wasn’t a Kei pirate alive that hadn’t heard of him. His other skills were too gruesome to mention and those who had seen them weren’t too apt to tell the tale. And behind him walked the hulking forms of the McCarver brothers, Zirigabi and Tigris, two Arcosians, a race that was a distant cousin of the Ctarl Ctarl and was known for their extreme speed and agility in battle, these brothers were known for their sheer delight in killing just for the fun of it. The stories of them told of a mastery of all weapons that were used at such quick speeds, that their victims didn’t notice at first that they had been hit. Their victims were said to never live long enough to see more than one of either brother’s attacks. All of these men were masters of their trades and were said to be even stronger than the members of the Anten Seven::
So where is this woman who killed Trodaki?-Zirigabi ::asks impatiently::
I’m not exactly sure where she is but my sources say that people have reported seeing a woman who matched her description living here. And we will find her won’t we boys?-Zoku
Of course we will, she will learn soon enough that it is a mistake to mess with the Kei pirates-Gurinada
If she was strong enough to kill Trodaki, it will be fun to toy with her a little bit before we kill her, huh Zirigabi?-Tigris
Yes, this should be a good battle-Zirigabi
(Just you wait, Aisha, you will pay for what you did soon enough) ::Zoku thinks to himself::

Who?-the second man
Patience, I’m not quite sure yet-the first man ::says while pushing his drink off the bar, it breaks with a loud clatter that echoes throughout the bar. Aisha looks briefly over before turning back to her latest drink::
How did that help?-the second man
I needed to see her face for something, I’m still not quite sure but I know what race she is now, that tattoo she has under her eye is the mark of a Ctarl Ctarl assassin-the first man
So who is she?-the second man
I’m not quite sure but I think she may be a student of a friend of mine, unfortunately I heard he was killed a few months ago-the first man
Who?-the second man
His name was Himari and if my guess is right that is Aisha Klan Klan-the first man
Himari? I’ve heard of him, he was the leader of the Ctarl Ctarl fleets wasn’t he?-the second man
Yes, and he was an expert bounty hunter, his skills rivaled mine but they should since we shared the same master-the first man
So why don’t you go over there and ask her?-the second man
It’s not that simple, if she is Himari’s student, she won’t trust me and she would probably think I was after the bounty on her-the first man
I see, but we won’t know if you don’t ask her-the first man
I suppose you’re right-the first man ::says while standing up. He smirks briefly, stretching out the scar that runs over his left eye and down the side of his face. Are you Aisha Klan Klan the student of Himari?-the first man

Yes, only half though, the other half is Maknan from my father which explains my black fur and stripes. I trained under Gahadize with Himari-Namu
And who trained you? You are obviously not a Ctarl Ctarl, Hafarian-Aisha
Hafarian, I haven’t been called by my race’s name in quite some time. I’m actually surprised you know what I am, I’m the last one left. I was trained by Hazard, a master of swords.-Okami
I see, so why are you two here?-Aisha
No reason really, I’m looking for more of my kind and Okami is just along for the ride. ::Aisha winces slightly again and Namu looks at her questioningly for a moment before noticing her wound:: Are you all right, Aisha? Who did that to you?-Namu
Hmm? Yes, I’m all right, a man by the name of Zoku did that, he’s the brother of Himari’s killer. He figured out that I killed Trodaki and has been tracking me hell bent on revenge ever since-Aisha
Zoku? I’ve heard of him, a Saurian who has been trained by the Kei pirates. I hear he’s nothing but an arrogant jerk who fancies himself as a skilled fighter -Okami
I’ve heard of Trodaki, he was hard to beat, you’re lucky to have made it out alive-Namu
I let my anger get the best of me and transformed-Aisha
I see, but that helped you to stay alive. If you hadn’t, you would be dead as well-Namu
If I know that yaro, Zoku will bring in any Kei pirate he can find to help him. What do you say to helping the pupil of your friend, Namu?-Okami
I would say we should, any help is good help in cases like this, besides she shouldn’t have to face this alone-Namu
::Aisha smirks widely:: Thank you, I don’t think I could have found anyone better to help me, a fellow Ctarl Ctarl and a Hafarian, my odds of making it out of this alive have greatly improved. You two are very helpful for strangers-Aisha

I’m still working on it, but mainly we will need some weapons-Namu
Weapons? I can help with that, my boss has tons of weapons we could borrow. I can take you to the shop if that helps-Aisha
Hmm, if you weren’t being tracked right now, I would say yes to that idea. But as things stand now, I think it would be best if Okami took you back to the ship for the moment. Just tell me the address of the shop and I’m sure I can find it-Namu

She kinda reminded him of Namu’s apprentice, Videl, she had the same never say die type of attitude. Videl had been a worthy opponent, Aisha’s training made him wonder if she could fight with the same spirit.:: (Maybe when this is all over, I’ll spar with her a bit. Still I wonder how a woman such as her got caught up in the life of assassin. Well now isn’t the time to ask her, she needs her rest for now. :: Okami scowled at the results since they were all things he already knew:: Well that was a waste of time, might as well check on her-Okami ::says as he stands up and walks into the room Aisha is in. With Griffen still purring loudly, Aisha sleeps calmly with a slight smile crossing her features. Hearing the slight footfalls of Okami, the cat opens its eyes to look at him. Stretching slightly, Griffen yawns before closing his eyes again, he knew this one wouldn’t hurt his master. Even though the wolfish man looked like a hardened warrior, the cat knew no harm would come to his master from this one or his cat-like associate::

:: Okami then hears the sound of knocking outside the ship:: Namu, is that you?-Okami
Of course it¡¯s me, baka, let me in!-Namu
:: Okami opens the door and lets Namu in::
Is she still asleep?-Namu
Yes-Okami
Good, let her sleep until they get here. You keep watch for them for now and then I¡¯ll switch with you in a little while-Namu ::says quietly::
Fine with me, the info I got on Zoku wasn¡¯t very useful anyway-Okami
The Kei pirates hide their secrets will and they very rarely even get caught, so of course there wouldn¡¯t be any good info. I¡¯ll be outside for a bit, just keep watch-Namu ::says as he walks back outside. Okami watches him curiously for a moment as Namu walks around taking note of the area around them. After a while, Namu comes back in::
What did you do out there?-Okami
You¡¯ll see, just setting up a few surprises-Namu

::Later, Okami looks out the door to the ship. As he continues to look, the sound of a gunshot being fired is heard before a shot narrowly misses him and hits the side of the ship. Okami ducks back into the ship and shuts the door:: Just great, they¡¯re already here, of all the bad luck-Okami
We know she¡¯s in there, just give her to us now and we won¡¯t harm you!-a voice yells
::Upon hearing the voice, Aisha immediately wakes up and quietly moves to nearby Okami and Namu. Okami looks at her briefly but continues to stay silent::
We¡¯re waiting!! Give the wench up now or else!-another voice
::Griffen hisses from his perch on Aisha¡¯s shoulder but Aisha ignores him. Rifling through the bags he brought, Namu throws a shotgun to Aisha and a rifle to Okami:: You both know how to use those right?-Namu
Yes, Himari taught me back when I trained with him-Aisha
Yeah, but not well, Hazard wasn¡¯t big on guns, so my training was limited in that area-Okami
Hehe, the mighty Kori-shinzo doesn¡¯t work well with guns? I never would have guessed that-Namu
:: Okami glares slightly at Namu:: Let¡¯s just get this over with. I¡¯ll get you back for that little comment later-Okami
Okay, let¡¯s get started-Namu
There better be more to your plan than this, Namu-Okami
There is, just you wait-Namu
Okay, but it better be good-Okami ::says he opens the door and they all take aim at the group of Kei pirates that wait behind the remains of a fallen building::

::After the assassin group fires several shots out the door of the ship, Zirigabi and Tigris begin chant::
Pagowasanfa, pagowasanfa, pagowasanfa, pagowasanfa-the McCarver brothers
What are they doing?-Okami
You¡¯ll see-Aisha
::Waves of aura begin to surge up from both brothers before it condenses and takes the shape of a large tiger and roars loudly::
:: Okami¡¯s ears flatten back to his head as a sneer crosses his face:: What the hell is that?-Okami
Just shut the door now and go to one of the windows if you want to see-Namu
:: Okami nods and pushes the button, closing the door and moves to the window. As soon as he looks out, the brothers send the wave of power at the ship and the tiger slams forcefully into the side of the ship, rocking the ship with each slam::
What the hell is that?-Okami
That would be the power of Tao magic, all Kei pirates are trained in it-Namu
Seems really powerful-Okami
It is, but we have two assassins trained in the teachings of Gahadize and a master of swords, our chances are better than most-Namu
::When the ship stops shaking, Okami reopens the door. The sound of a bullet whizzing by just barely missing his ear is heard before he recoils into the ship and leans with his back to the wall of the ship::
Are you sure about this? We¡¯re like sitting ducks in here-Okami
::Namu smirks before firing a shot at the ground near the McCarver brothers¡¯ feet. Suddenly a large explosion erupts from underneath the ground, sending them both flying through the air. When the smoke clears, the brothers can be seen rising painfully to their feet, sporting numerous gashes and cuts::
That yaro! I¡¯ll kill him!-Tigris ::yells as he shakes his head as the blood from a wound on his forehead drips into his eye::
They¡¯ll feel the wrath of my claws when I get my hands on them!-Zirigabi ::yells while clenching his fists in fury::
::Gurinada laughs loudly::
Calm down, we will get her soon enough. You guys can kill the other two but I get to kill Aisha, understood?-Zoku
::The men nod in agreement::

Now just how are we supposed to fight that power?-Okami ::says while raising a dubious looking eyebrow to Aisha and Namu::
Feel like showing him, Aisha?-Namu ::says while smirking::
I guess. I have a few tricks of my own, Okami-Aisha ::says while stepping out of the ship and out into the open. Aisha then drawing out her bokuto, she raises it above her head before making several slashes at the air which sends out several ways of Tao magic-like power at the enemy. Zoku, Zirigabi, and Tigris manage to make it out of the way but Gurinada takes the full force of it and falls to his knees with large gash wounds crossing his entire body. The others glare at her before Zoku sends another blast of Tao magic at Aisha, she jumps out of the way before smirking at Zoku::
Is that the best you can do?-Aisha
::Zoku says nothing but drags Gurinada back behind the safety of the building nearby::
You all right? We¡¯ll need your marksmanship for this-Zirigabi ::asks the pained looking Gurinada::
I¡¯m fine, just some flesh wounds, I¡¯ll get her back for that-Gurinada ::says while rising to his feet::

OOC: all for now, that's all I can come with for today not that anybody reads this but oh well...

::Smirking, Aisha jumps back into the ship and glances over at her new allies. She hardly knew them but they insisted on helping her just as Himari had done when he had found her::

::Begin Flashback::
(Note: refer to Lost Place in the Sun in the storyteller forum for what happened before this flashback)
::As Himari carried Aisha through the rain that had poured ceaselessly down since Aisha had awoken to find her parents dead, Aisha looked up at Himari::
What will happen to me now?-Aisha
Dunno, but I’ll think of something-Himari
Okay-Aisha ::says while yawning and falling asleep::
::Later that night::
::Himari still carries Aisha as he walks up to the Ctarl Ctarl ship, The Nucara Tarana. He looks up as a young male CC soldier runs out to meet him. The soldier salutes him before speaking:: Sir, what happened? I heard a bomb went off in one of the towns-soldier
Yes, one did-Himari
So the rumors are true. What happened to Shiridari and Nasereda? Aren’t they her parents?-soldier
They’re dead, Youzha. I never should have let them come, but they were some of the best fighters and negotiators the CC empire had. This girl was the only survivor I found, the rest of the townsfolk were killed-Himari
Dead? No! Everyone is dead?-Youzha ::says while slumping down slightly in shock::
Yes, everyone one that was in that town is dead except her-Himari
I can’t believe it. What should we do with her? Should she go to a foster family?-Youzha
No, she can stay with me. I would rather her be in good hands than end up in an orphanage somewhere-Himari
Sir? Are you sure?-Youzha
Yes, I’m sure, besides she seems like she might be a good fighter with the proper training. If she’s anything like her parents, she will be-Himari
::Youzha watches Himari walk into the ship in disbelief. Himari was known for his preference to do things his own way and to live alone. Taking in a young girl was very unlike him, what had this girl done that had earned his respect?::
::End Flashback::
