[i]He stood on the bank of a river, it was a sunny day, one he could imagine huck fin playin in. He had sent a message to the rangers, one in specific, he hoped she would show up, if not he assumed he could always enjoy the day here alone

She was sitting at her desk, but for once, her work didn't mark her attention. No, what she was looking at was a message on the Holonet. A message from a male she had recently met.

The male that the holoprojector was showing was human, blond, with almost inhumanly formed cheekbones. She remembered him all too well. It was the inviduum that had assaulted her good graces in the Jedi bar, making disparaging comments about her accent and her fangs. She had promised to eat him alive for that insulting behavior, but something else had come up and she'd never been able to make good on that threat.

Well, apparently, he had remembered. She hadn't thought he'd be so suicidal. He would have to be dealt with.

And she knew just how.

Sasseeri leaned forward and pressed a button on her desk, activating the comm line to her secretary, and asked her to send for Onslaught and Olorin. As an afterthought, she told her to track down and get her Sanis on the line.

Then she sat back and waited for her two employees to arrive.

-some time later-

*Onslaught walks into Sasseeri's office*

You wish to speak with me?

Kal Olorin

Kal walks into the office, and stands next to Onslaught

"Yes?"

Sasseeri smiled at the prompt response she had gotten from both of them. Her eyes roamed briefly over Olorin's body, remembering their latest little after hours "session" together, and her smile broadened.

She shook her head, chasing the memories away. No time for this - there was work to do.

"We have a sjituatjion. Therrre jis a man who has challenged me. jI do not have tjime forrr such chjildjish gesturrres. So jI thjink we shall teach hjim a ljittle lesson, no?"

She chuckled, imagining the male's face when insetad of her, he would face something possibly even more deadly.

"You shall deal wjith hjim, no? jI thjink you wjill ljike that."

They both grinned, and nodded silently.

"Well, then take whateverrr equjipment you need to make hjim sufferrr. Take hjis head, jif you wjish, and brrrjing it back to me."

She gestured for them to leave, then turned back to her desk, waiting impatiently for the comm from Sanis.

*Onslaught does an about face and walks out the door, lighting up a cigarette on his way out. He walks to his speeder which is parked near by, and gets in waiting for Kal*

(Sanis woke up, bleary eyed and tired in his apartment bed. The sheets were crumpled around him, his hair was a mess, and he had felt better before, he was sure. An incessant beeping was coming from the bedside table. Fumbling blindly, Sanis reached out to the source of the beeping, hoping to randomly hit a button to shut it off. Instead, he hit the button to answer the HoloView. A shimmering sound and faint blue light caught his attention, as he saw the image of a certain female Cizerack glaring at him slightly, looking rather impatient.)

SANJIS! Wake up!

Aaah!

(Sanis fell out of bed)

She didn't have time to wait until he had regained his senses. She needed his help, and she needed it now. He could wake up on the way.

"jI sajid wake up! jI need yourrr help. Somethjing has come up, and jI would apprrrecjiate jif you werrre to go and look that all worrrks out."

For a moment she wondered if he would just accept her request like that - after all, he didn't work for her exclusively; at least not yet. But then she discarded that thought. This was all about favours, and Sanis owed her a few of them already. He'd accept.

No harm in being a little nicer, though, and putting some sugar into her voice. And reminding him again of just how many favours he owed her.

"Sweethearrrt, jI need yourrr help jin thjis. jI have sent my own men, but jI would be much happjierrr jif you werrre therrre seejing that all goes well. Consjider jit as a favourrr, yes?"

(The piercing din of Sanis' four-alarm hangover echoed through his skull, and intensified at the edge in Sasseeri's voice. Sanis sat upright on the bed, blinked a few times, ran his hands through his hair, and looked back at the holo.

Dammit. Sasseeri was asking for "favors" now. Sanis cursed under his breath. Favors. Sanis would give a kidney before he gave a favor to somebody...but then again, he did owe Miss Reeouurra quite a bit, from all the times she'd "bailed him out". Seeing as he was still in one piece, and still couldn't pay up, he guessed that he'd just have to live with a few of these "favors".

Yawning loudly, Sanis groggily scratched himself as he continued to rouse from his sleepy stupor. He once more looked at the holo, and remembered that he was only wearing his underwear.

Ah frellit...

...Sanis decided it wasn't the worst of things that could happen. He stood up, reaching to the foot of his bed for a pair of clean pants and a shirt. As he slid them on, he looked at the holo, talking back to Sasseeri.)

Uh, Sasseeri...mind filling me in on this favor of yours? I've got a pretty damn mean hangover right about now, so forgive me if I don't smile and say thank you.

(Sanis reached for his jacket, sliding it on, as well as his belt, holsters, and bandolier. Finally, he slid his gloves and boots on, making a passing fix at his hair.)

I hope you've got some black coffee, too. I'm out.

The grin on her face got wider. What she was seeing pleased her. Sanis in his underwear.

A stray thought entered her mind. Always better to inspect the merchandise before acquiring it. Right now, she definately did get a good glimpse.

She licked her lips. Sanis, even in a hungover state, was certainly showing why he was worth the wait.

So she watched him as he fumbled for his clothes, and began dressing. It was just what she'd needed... made her think of trying to reach him at night-time as he was just about to go to bed. Would be fun to watch this in the reverse. Maybe when he was finally hers, she would let him undress for her like that night for night...

When he finally asked her about the job, she grinned even wider. Well, he'd find out once he got here. He signed off, and she went back to her work with a sigh.

To be honest, there was only one reason she wanted Sanis to go along with the other two. He would be carrying the holo-unit recording this meeting between that foolish imbecile and her men.

Of course she wouldn't let him know that that was his main job - she'd somehow have to get him to think that he had soem more important role to play. Oh well, by the time he arrived, she'd have something figured out.

(Sanis continued muttering to himself as he drove through the busy speederlanes of Coruscant, heading to the Sector Rangers main office.)

Gah, dammit...can't believe, I'm frelling waking up...damn doing favors...dammit. I don't do favors, gah!

(Sanis angrily changed lanes, cutting off another vehicle. The driver shouted loudly at Sanis, but Sanis replied with a nonchalant hand gesture.)

BITE ME, buddy!

(Sanis continued to drive, eyes squinting against the bright sun of the Coruscant morning. At this point, all would be forgiven for some good black coffee.

Half an hour later, Sanis put his speeder on idle, cruising it into a landing zone. He hopped out, stomping his feet slightly as he walked into the lobby. A receptionist was there to greet him.)

Receptionist: Hello sir, how may I help you?

I'm here to see Miss Reeouurra.

Receptionist: Do you hav...

No, I don't have an appointment!

(The startled receptionist quietly picked up the comm, informing Sasseeri of Sanis' arrival. In the meantime, Sanis angrily stomped around the lobby, searching for a coffee maker.)

As the day wore on Michael became increasingly aware of his own solitude. His eyes danced across the horizon as he played images of this cat like women through his head, true she was swift and viscous; and, as it appeared to him, a libido that wouldnt quit. Yet all these things could be used to ones advantage if one were docile enough. He moved closer to the river and sat on a nearby boulder, draping his legs over the side, watching fish swim this way and that as he murmmered"Hurry up, my patience is wearing thin..."

The receptionist needn't have announced Sanis - she could hear him well enough from outside. Grinning, Sasseeri pushed a button that opened the door to her office, and the smell of freshly roasted caf slowly pushed forward through the air outside her office.

He came after that smell like a nekk after blood.

"Hello Sanjis."

She received him with a mug of caf in her hand, the aroma cloud that steamed up from it being what had brought him inside.

He didn't seem to waste much words for anything, nor look at anything else but the caf. She offered him the mug, and he gulped it down before she could warn him about the temperature of the stuff.

ACK!

(Sanis winced at the scalding coffee. Taking the first hot gulp down, Sanis opened his mouth, cooling his tongue slightly, as he blew on the mug. Damn, he needed this. Sanis stood there for a moment, blowing on the coffee, before he tentatively took another small sip. This time, it wasn't so scalding. Taking a seat down across the desk from Sasseeri, Sanis let the coffee do its work, waking him and killing the hangover.)

So, you called for me, Sasseeri? Something about a favor, huh?

(Sanis made a face)

You know, I don't do favors. Its just not even a question. Favors are for suckers who like to get played.

(Sanis took a pained sigh)

But....for you, I...guess I can make an exception.

(That was hard to say, and Sanis took down more coffee after that.)

I suppose...I owe you this one.

(Sanis grumbled slightly. Damn favors. How the hell did he get into this situation.)

[i]Michael rested his head back against a rock beside the river, looking up into the sky, letting the rays of this star shine upon his face, warming him comfortably. He knew she would come, she seemed honorable enough when he had first met her, and even if she wasnt? Whats the worst she could do? Send someone in her place? Bah, he shrugged that thought out of his head as fast as it had entered it, not even he would sink that low, to endanger the life of another simply becuase one is too lazy, how proposterious. He chuckled to himself and closed his eyes, laying back and resting
