Leeloo watched the two sith pick up Jeseth. She somehow just knew something was wrong with him - she wasnt sure what but she had a feeling

A starship! They HAD to be taking him off the planet in a ship!!

She made her way around the crowd of Jedi sneaking out the door, to the docking bay.

She looked around trying to find a ship that wasnt here to often.

There! It was a lifeless mass of steel - must have been Deliron's from the looks of it. Gray, a bit old..

Well she still looks like she is a good ship.

Without another thought she opened up the ship's ramp and went inside. Once inside she looked around trying to find somewhere to hide. She knew that the sith would most likely sense her rather quickly ...and that wouldnt be good.

There was a small compartment which she was sure she could fit in. She sat down waiting for the Dark Jedi to come in and took a deep breath trying to relax.

As Delirion and Tholuem walked out of Yog's B&G, carrying Jeseth, Tholuem sensed the presence of a Jedi following them, but he payed it no more mind then a simple look around the area; where he saw nothing that alarmed him. So he put all his attention onto Jeseth again...

What was wrong with him...? He'd been acting strange ever since Tholuem went up to him and greeted him. He even was about to grab his sabre and rip open his Master, but when he warned him not to do that, he had no idea what he was warned for... Something was wrong.

They were about half the way to the docking bay, when Delirion stopped because she wanted to take a closer look at Jeseth's wounds. They went into a small sidestreet, where they could inspect Jeseth without being noticed too much...

T: Well, the wound looks pretty bad, but I don't think it'll kill him or anything... He'll live.
D: Absolutely sure? I don't want anything to happen to him...
T: Neither do I. Come on, we gotta get going... Oh yeah, I sensed Jedi around, following us, a while ago. Don't sense anyone now, but, just pay attention or something.

As he said that they grabbed Jeseth again, and got on their way to the docking bay once again. It wasn't far away anymore, which was good; it was getting cold out there, and all they wanted was get inside somewhere, some place warmer...

When they finally got there, it'd taken long enough after all, they were both paying so much attention to what they were doing with jeseth, that they did not sense the Jedi that was around somewhere.....

Sickening pain; Jeseth's body lightly struck the cold metal surface of Delirion's ship, but he was too weakened to force any words from his lips. His eyes drifted in a haze, focusing and unfocusing over the different figures about him. He began to sense those around him: Delirion, Darth Tholuem, and...--And someone... A presence he had felt before, but now as began to slip into the abyss of darkness beneath him, he struggled to place who's presence it was.

He closed his eyes completely and let the terrible pain surge through him, pushing him away.

Leeloo.

Who was that? Jeseth had never heard the name before, but it sounded so familiar... Something in him wanted to smile, but he didn't. His breath became deep and jagged as he realized that he wasn't free to move anymore, and the man who he had faced down earlier now held him down as he struggled to move, a large pool of blood forming beneath him. He was too weak to fight him... Much too weak now...

He sighed and closed his eyes, passing out so quickly he didn't even have time to experience any pain. How long had it been since he slept?

As they reached the ship, Delirion felt a slight change in Jeseth. Too afraid to be drawn into the abysmal depths of his mind again, she did not attempt to read him like she had before. But the thoughts and emotions seeping out of him of their own accord she could not ignore. Twisting, twirling, the wrongness of his mind hurt her to the core. It made her feel sick to the stomach almost, and she had to brace herself to be able to walk onwards.

As they reached the ship, she was too wrapped up in her own misery and Jeseth's, to notice anything strange about the ship.

Her Skipray blastboat wasn't exactly the best of ships, but it got her into space and down again without breaking apart - that was what counted. It also had the added comfort of being quite spaceous inside, so she and the Sith put Jeseth down on one of the seats, and strapped him in.

Jeseth's head fell forward, and then rolled sidewards and up again.

"He's fighting against falling deeper. In other circumstances, with this sort of injury, we should not let him fall unconscious. But with him..."

She did not know what to say; she had no experience tending the wounded, nor had she any idea what had befallen Jeseth other than his external wound. That his mind had slipped, that was clear, but why or how, she did not know.

There was nothing she could do now - the only hope was that he would come to himself in more familiar surroundings. Taking him back to the Black Hand was the only thing she could think of, and if the Sith came along... well, he was Jeseth's Master. It would be acceptable.

Two minutes later, the ship was in the air, and she punches in the co-ordinates for Vjun.

Leeloo sat squashed in the small area she was trying to hide in. It had been a few hours since they had brough Jeseth on board-- she was suprised they hadnt senced her; there had to be a reason, maybe Jeseth was worse than she had though?

Where are they going? How am I going to get out with out being seen..?

She wondered what was up with him, why was he acting that way in the bar? The Jedi padawan was worried what would become of her once she reached--whatever planet they were going to. She was almost certin they were taking Jeseth to TBH..

Tholuem sat down in his chair and watched Delirion type in the co-ordinates for...The Black Hand, on Vjun. TBH. Mysterious bunch of Dark Jedi, he'd never been there, but actually was excited about going there now. Could become interesting...

He looked at Jeseth and thought of what'd happened before, in the B&G. It was strange, Jeseth had never acted like that before. Could something be seriously wrong? Was he in trouble? In pain? WHAT?! He couldn't answer any of those question, and he'd have to wait for an answer untill they reached TBH...

......

Tholuem: W...w...what?

He found himself laying on his chest, in his chair, feet and legs on the ground... He looked and turned around and looked at Delirion, who had just woken him up by doing...something, he had no idea what. He looked outside, and saw they were nearing some planet.

Delirion: You are an excellent travelling companion, indeed. Quiet. Very considerate of you.
Tholuem: Uhh, oh, sorry... Should've stayed up, sorry. Won't happen again.

'And you are so sure that there will be another opportunity for you?'

The thought raced through her head, but she restrained herself from saying it out aloud to her sleepy companion. Bringing a Sith to Vjun with her was not a good idea, but it could not be helped. It would be for all of them to decide what the Sith's fate would be afterwards.

The situation was bad. Even at TBH, there was no one who would be able to help her with Jeseth. She was on her own with this - Rane, Tielle or Vos had no knowledge of injuries of this kind, nor of any possible treatment. And TBH had no medical facilities.

The ship duly dropped out of hyperspace in the planet's orbit. She carefully guided it onto the right approach vector before entering atmosphere, then set course for the only possible location for landing - outside the castle gate.

Setting the ship down 10 minutes later onto the uneven ground, she got out of her chair and harshly told Tholuem to wait for her return.

She approached the castle on her own. Bast Castle was no more what it had been when it was Vader's. The thick stone walls stood charred and blackened, the single remaining tower looming into the orange sky. The other towers had crumbled away, leaving nothing but empty desolation behind. The walls still stood proud here and there, but even they could not deny that the castle's glory days were over.

The gate was still standing, and through it, Delirion went. Through it, and then to turn sharply to take the stairs leading into the murky blackness of the caverns below.

She did not have to search long for one of her Dark Brothers. It was Quellin Vos who met her at the base of the staircase, standing proud and tall, his saber in his hand, ready to attack whatever might be coming.

It was in a strangely choked voice, that she finally spoke to him, and the depth of her own grief startled her.

"It is Jeseth. He has been hurt."

Quellin Vos

:: Quellin stood, breathing heavily, after a long run towards the now landed spacecraft. He looked around only seeing the white fumes from the ship’s engine exhaust, but made out a faint figure in the misty air. It was the Dark Jedi known as Delrion, a close friend of his and the one who showed him the ways of the Dark Jedi. She sputtered out a few words that put the young apprentice into pure confusion. How could a warrior as strong as Jeseth fall? He leaned forward whispering a few words into her ear as she pulled him towards the ship. “Is this where he lay?” he said sternly. Delrion nodded quietly and proceeded on, opening the bay door with a few clicks on a rusted control panel. An irritating noise shattered the near silence of the planet, as the door slid open. Quellin a bit surprised by the eerie and gloomy feel of the ship continued on, passing through the cramped ship. He soon made his way to where the strong Dark Jedi lay resting.

The dark warrior slowly emerged from the shadows where the one known as Jeseth lay. He peered around noticing a darkened figure, a Sith. He despised most Sith other than his master whose every command he would follow without a second thought. He let out a slight growl in the direction of the Sith and headed towards his comrade. Though not close friends, Quellin felt a link between himself and Jeseth. He would maintain that link at any cost, possibly death. Quellin crept about the room heading towards the immobile Jeseth ever so quietly as if he were sleeping. Quellin bent downing hovering the side of his face over that of the unconscious Jeseth. “He is still breathing.” he whispered quietly to himself. “ We must take him to a medical facility where the droids can tend to his wounds, I would say his room. The place where you would most likely be the most comfortable.” the group nodded their heads solemnly and Quellin prepared to move the Dark Jedi.

With the ease of a mother Quellin slid his dense arms underneath Jeseth’s neck and knees lifting him up off the table. The journey began. Quellin blinked several times trying to remove the salty sweat from his eyes as he made his way from the ship. Jeseth was not light to say the least. After a grueling slow pace to the Black Hand chambers the group and the wounded Dark Jedi made their way through the building.

A rusted door was the entry to the home of Jeseth, he had used the building as a study to further his practice in the dark arts but now it was his resting bed for the time period. Pulling away a free hand, Quellin wrestled with the doorknob but it did not budge a bit. Quite frustrated and tired he turned towards Delirion motioning for her help. The beautiful and psychotic Dark Jedi lumbered closer and wrapped her long and slender fingers through Jesesth’s hair pulling his head up. With her free hand she scuffled with a small box opening a flimsy door. She raised the limp head towards an indention that resembled a human eye, with her free hand she pried open Jeseth’s eye socket revealing a blood shot cornea. A small beam of green light flashed across the eye automatically opening the door. ::

Jeseth saw a faint flash of light, and in his mind he saw thunder - A thousand winged beings tossed from the sky by waves of fire and energy. The last thing he had seen from the back of that darkened shuttle as he left his home. He jolted up in Quellin's arms and began to struggle against an unseen opponent, coughing up blood as he was placed on a table.

As Jeseth lay writheing and fighting against his own self on the stone slab of the table, she was also fighting against herself. Once before, the contact with his mind had almost drawn her with him into the abyss. She had seen a glimpse of that dark and terrible place where he had gone in his mind, retreated to, fallen back into a past she knew nothing of.

Now she was faced with two terrifying choices, and she did not wish to settle for either. She could follow him down that dark abyss, penetrate his mind until it took her with it to the place he was now. Or she could sit back and do nothing, knowing in her mind that to do nothing could mean her Dark Brother's death as much as to try to help.

What did she care whether someone lived or died? Why should the life of anyone be worth anything to her? She had no ties, no connections to the dying man on the table - other than the thin bonds that held her and him, and the others, together in the Black Hand.

Why risk her own life, her own sanity, for this man?

'Yet is not death, is not insanity, what thou longest for most in this ere life? Admit to it, my dark daughter - thou dost not fear death, thou dost not fear insanity. Thou wouldst gladly embrace it wholly if thy path would cross its way. NOW! Thou art on this path - embrace it! Turn thy thoughts after thy brother's, follow him down that abysmal chasm of his mind, and thou wouldst save him, if thou be lucky.'

Brandl's ghostly voice rang through her mind, his words eager and intent on making her see what path he had laid out for her. Yet, no matter how she tried to find a way out, no matter how she wanted to obstruct his plans, the choice before her was clear.

Death did not matter. She stepped closer to the table, laid a hand on Quellin's shoulder, pushed him aside gently, yet did not ask him to release his hold on their brother.

Delirion stared down into Jeseth's eyes as he was fighting against Quellin's hold on him. The raven-black irises of her eyes seemed almost to swirl and whorl as she let herself fall deeper and deeper into his mind, seeking to find the source of the pain, the source of the madness.

[i]As Delirion entered the recesses of her brothers mind, she looked down into an abysmal shadow of despair; But it was only Jeseth's shadow in the end, and while it did seem to often take a life of it's own, had she ever truly feared that? Her eyes went wide as she watched a planet blazing with fire, trillions of tiny blackened debris floating upwards through the air. They were feathers much like Jeseth's.

Her eyes suddenly came into focus more clearly, and she could see that she was watching from the inside of a shuttle, well out of harm way. Jeseth lay on the floor beside her, tears streaming down his cheeks. The magnetic restraints that held him inflicted so much pain that she found it difficult to discern the emotional from the physical. This was why her brother had kept his thoughts so distant from his feelings.

Jeseth breathed heavily, pulling on his hands, the restraints holding just as tightly as they had on all his previous attempts. He couldn't go. He had to go back... Back to his wife, and his home. He couldn't let them take him now. He pulled again, gritting his teeth and tasting the tears that streamed down his face.

Again he pulled.

He pulled harder.

Harder.

Delirion watched a spray of blood erupt from his wrist, coating the floor of the shuttle. He breathed more heavily without a single word ushering from his lips. His elbows jittered as they attempted to hold still, his veins exposing a myriad of wiring and electronics. His hand ripped away slowly as he continued to pull, distributing the pain so as not overwhelm himself. The blood touched to her shoes as it spilt freely, her brother rising to his feet with shaking knees, his wings still pulled up against him as far as his flesh would stretch. She looked to her left

As she head the Dark Jedi and the sith begin to leave the ship, Leeloo got up slowly trying to avoid making any noise. She didnt wish to bring attention to herself.

When she walked into the main part of the ship she, thankfully, found it empty. Now what was she going to do? The jedi padawan decided she would soon be found out.. and that wasnt the best thing that could happen. She walked outside Del's ship quietly-- why hadnt they senced her?

Her only idea was that they were so caought up in what was happening-- what was happening to Jeseth? He had acted so strangly in the Bar and Grill.. she had never seen anyone act like that before-- maybe something was wrong.

She had to know, and she wasnt sure she trusted TBH with him. How was she going to get back? She followed the party watching to see where they were taking Jes.

They steped inside his 'home' and she sighed. Now what was she going to do? She couldnt see what they were doing to him--

Leeloo slowly moved toward the door. She hadnt been this nervous in a long time--not since she smuggled spice. That seemed like years ago, she had changed so much in such little time. As she crept toward the door she had thoughts of running back to the ship and stealing it. What was she doing following members of TBH?? Leeloo shook her head, clearing her mind and opened the door.

If one of the dark jedi senced her here she'd more than likely be dead pretty quickly. She steped through the door and looked around wondering which way they could have possibly taken him.. Following her instincts, she headed down one of the halls quickly hoping she would hear some sort of noise--voices, maybe. She came to a dead end and turned around to go back to one of the turns she had seen earlier. Taking the first turn she seen, she came across the only thing in this hall..a door. She steped inside the room. A room. Thats all there was.

She sat down again the wall and sighed. It was hopeless..there was no way she'd be able to find them or find her way back in this labyrith. Why had she even tried to follow them?! Now she'd never know what happened to Jeseth and they'd find out she was here..an-- Suddenly she remembered that if they could sence her she could sence them Gah. Why hadnt she thought of that before? It would have saved her some time. She stood up and closed her eyes, trying to relax. She felt a familliar presence--Jeseth. It had to be Jes. She took off down the hall she came from and kept heading in the direction the Force lead her. Soon, she heard voices in a room not too far from where she stood. Taking a deep breath she slowly walked toward the partly opened door and looked inside..

She did not know what to do at first - the sight of this, of what he had done, of what he had been, was more than a shock to her. Compared to this, her life had been sheltered - where she thought she had seen suffering, where she thought she had felt pain, she now knew that it had not even touched upon the matter.

But now that she saw so clearly what it was that was powerful enough to call him back into his own past, to render him half-mad with pain and ... remorse? ... and anger of his own failure to help those he loved, she understood.

And suddenly, she knew what to do, how to keep him from sinking deeper into that dark and painful past. She simply didn't know if she could do it alone.

Concentrating on the thin connection her mind still had to the other world, to reality, she drew on that to strengthen her will and power. She did not know whether what she would attempt would be enough to catch his attention, nor if he was still capable of the emotions that she would be trying to awaken in him again. But it was the only hope she - he - had, and she would have to try.

Her mind possessed no fixed body - she was a figment of whatever his mind needed to make her. Yet it did not mean she could not be what she wanted to be - which was exactly what she intended to do now. From his own visions, she took the images of his wife, and drew that form over her own, until what he saw was his wife. From the hopes and dreams she sensed in his thoughts, she took those that were freshest, dearest to him, and showed him a different reality.

Jeseth was shaking violently as she looked at him. And instead of that spark of recognition that she had been hoping for, she found silent dread - and knew that this was not enough.

Yet again she tried, calling out to him, and the voice he heard was that of his once dearly beloved wife. She beckoned to him with her most winning smile, and he saw another woman's face smiling at him, a silent wish for him to join her - and he recoiled with revulsion.

Maybe she needed something different.
