View Full Version : Interview with a Vampire
Sanis Prent
Mar 23rd, 2001, 01:02:45 AM
(Sanis hoped that the HoloNet message reached its intended target. With these kinds of people, there was no telling. Sanis had done business before with Sith, but Vampiric Sith, it was another matter entirely. Even more mysterious than normal, they hid in shadow, and talking with one was all but impossible. Well, at least Sanis hoped he could be able to speak with one of them.
Sanis put his speeder in park as he reached the meeting place he had arranged. It was a parking lot next to a large office suite. Sanis put his sunglasses on, as the early morning sun intensified. He hoped his guest didn't mind the time of the encounter, but it was the only time Sanis could afford to meet with him.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a man in a black suit approaching him. Every bit of his visage was covered, from his head to his feet. Knowing the vampire's disdain of sunlight, Sanis figured it out quickly that his contact had arrived. As the man approached, Sanis opened the door, and climbed out of the speeder, leaning against it. When the man was no more than five yards away, Sanis extended a hand towards him.)
That's far enough. You'll forgive me if we keep our distance during this meeting, but I'd prefer to keep my veins intact.

The black high gloss helmet shined as the sun of Coruscant gleamed off it's surface. The head inside tilted as Sanis made his proclamations of self preservation. Saurron's smile was merely reflected back at him inside his helm as the read outs of potential targets, movements around him, and last but not least, of time remaining until the cursed star passed.
The voice amplifier came to life adding it's own lifelessness to an already dead voice...
Your reputation precedes you Sanis Prent.
The formal use of his full name made Sanis all the more weary as the monotone voice fell on his ears...

(Sanis' eyes narrowed at the black-clad newcomer.)
So, you've done your homework as well, Saurron.
(Sanis crossed his arms slowly)
I trust that this meeting isn't too much of an inconvenience for you. My nights are rather booked solid this week.

As are mine
Retorted Saurron drawing out his last word.
The lights on his enviro suit blinked in random order as his hands made fists creaking in the leather like skin at Sannis's remark about the time of day it was.
*Surley this was a tactical move,* thought Saurron but it would help him nonetheless in the event of a meeting gone wrong...
Slowly Saurron reached up to touch his helm...
Sanis dropped his arms from their folded position making ready for what he thought was possibly an aggressive move.
Touching one of the lights on the helm a red force field seemingly grew from one side to another shielding it from the attack of blaster and saber alike.
The park bustled with livestock as Saurron thought of them but his concentration was on that of a one Sanis Prent. His cool demeanor proved admirable but for one who had lived as long as Saurron had he gave him no real credit other than that of what he had learned from the crime syndicate. For now, he was just another human to him. A source of food until proved otherwise...

(Sanis smirks)
I came here to get information from you. I must admit, you are the first vampire I've ever met, and your race's reputation preceeds you. Nevertheless, you're still pretty mysterious.
I need to know more. There is a certain vampire out there who has incurred the ire of one of my employers. There is little known of him, and I have to admit, I haven't even seen a picture of his face to go by.
I came here to ask you. If I were a vampire, how would you go about fighting me.
(Sanis looks at the shield)
And I would save your energy. This is business.

Mar 23rd, 2001, 01:10:45 PM
Saurron stared at him through the enviro helm visor protected by the mini force field for long moments. His question was perplexing yet simple and straight forward. Whomever this dark one was, Saurron could not just blurt out the secrets of his race...for it was Saurron's race too.
The fact that few have fought Vampyre and lived was a testament to their inherent strengths. An attack by one meant sure death in almost every case as well.
However Vampyre are arrogant to the point of not caring whether or not a human knows how to kill him or her...their worries lie in the finding of their resting place.
Saurron's low voice leapt from the amplifier again in the form of a chuckle...
Pointing at Sanis...
The best thing for you to do is not take the job.
Saurron placed his hands on his hips, and absentmindedly played with his Sith Dagger that hung there thumbing the hilt...Perhaps he would give this gangster some tid bits to help him along his path, meeting his destiny.
Saurron continuues...
However if you insist on this...self destruction...I would say that you need to find out how old he or she is, yet a Vampyre at any age is most deadly. If your going to fight one then I would advi....
A disturbance in the Force seemingly tapped Saurron on the shoulder causing him to break off in mid sentence, as his eyes were guided upwards. Scanning the building front to Sanis's rear the helm locked in and stored multiple targets highlighting them in a cool blue on the heads up display. Sanis heard the HK187 Mini Blaster on Saurron's wrist whine to an inaudible high as it charged...
He watched casually as Saurron's head careened skyward...
Really Mr. Prent,
Came Saurron in a sarcastic tone as his head tilted around.
snipers...?

(Sanis' left eyebrow raised)
Snipers?
(Instinctively, Sanis' hand reached to one of his side holsters, to grab one of his corellian blasters. However, Saurron replied by pointing his own sidearm at Sanis. Sanis stopped his hand short, holding it steady.)
They're not with me. I came alone.
(Sanis backed his hand away from the holster, eyes scrutinizing Saurron. Was the message intercepted, or was this something else? A nagging feeling in the pit of Sanis' stomach started to grow. Sometimes the largest jobs had the most entanglements.)
SAURRON
Mar 23rd, 2001, 02:40:04 PM
Yours or not, I will illustrate what you are up against, words seem to have so little meaning these days...
Saurron slowly lowers his own weapon then raises it again with speed unseen. Three blasts leap forward from the blaster on his wrist, and struck the building front just below the transparasteel window casings collapsing the entire structure front of each room. Transparasteel and cement of the older structures plummeted down raining on the streets as each sniper fell screaming to his death. The blasts could have been aimed to utterly blow apart the snipers but seeing is believing and the splattered bodies now laying on the surface in pools of their own blood were indicative to the malicious psyche of a Vampire.
Come, we should walk
Saurron's curiousity of the unknown Vampire intrigued him. Vampire were so secretive that most did not know of each others existence this much was true...
So Mr. Prent tell me, who is this one you seek

(Sanis looked at the bloodied corpses strewn across the pavement. He didn't notice any imperial insignia on them, although he doubted that Intel would ever be that sloppy as to advertise themselves. Running a hand through his hair, Sanis waited for Saurron to lower his sidearm before proceeding.)
I agree. For whatever reason, it is no longer safe here. However...
(Sanis tapped a remote control on his wrist, and the double doors on his speeder opened up.)
I was never one for walking, especially not around this side of town.
(Sanis gestured)
Lets go for a ride. After you.
(He could tell that there was little trust to be had between the two men. He sighed. Such was the case with his profession.)
SAURRON
Mar 23rd, 2001, 03:15:02 PM
The fact that he could be Sanis's true target was hanging there in the back of his mind, and if that were true he would need to play the game to find out who sent him or there would surely be others...
Saurron slowly climbs in but does so only when he sees Sanis begin to enter as well. A button is an easy thing to push thus turning the vehicle into a fire ball with Saurron inside. Wasn't going to happen Saurron had been around far too long to make that mistake and as a maligned race trusted knowone. If the door did close, one punch would send the door off its welds. Yes, Vampire were indeed strong...

Mar 23rd, 2001, 03:40:40 PM
(Sanis smiled ever-so slightly, sliding a hand to his belt and pressing a button. A nearly inaudible whine was heard, and then died away. As Sanis moved to sit in the speeder, he felt himself get drastically weaker as the Force died away from him. Disoriented momentarily by the deprivation, Saurron paused. It was just enough for Sanis to work with, as he drew his shell gun, angling it at Saurron's chest.)
I'm sure you've guessed it already, but I will go ahead and make myself plain. The vampire I'm after is you, Saurron.
(The first trigger was pulled, firing a mandalorian blue shell from the right barrel of the weapon. The blue shell's magnetic field rocked against Saurron, smashing him through the door of the car and back outside. A fraction of a second after the first trigger pull, the second fired a yellow shell from the left barrel, hitting the out-of-control Saurron. The incendiary material burst from the shell, sticking to him like glue as it ignited, burning away at his suit. Saurron rolled on the ground as his suit burned. Sanis replaced his shell gun at his side, drawing his two blasters. Saurron was out of the car, but still within the force-null sphere of Sanis' ysalimiri, stowed away conveniently in the speeder's trunk. Without such protection, it would only be a matter of time before the sun's rays began to do their work.)

Mar 23rd, 2001, 04:13:26 PM
Saurron let out a howl as the gel burned not only at his suit but at his lifeless skin. The pain only fed his anger but there was no Force to manipulate. Saurron tumbled as he regained his senses and catapulted himself through a large door, shoulder first, knocking it into nearly a 90 degree angle. He still had his inherent strength.
The Coruscant star chased him but was unable to beat back the shadows of the doorway. Reeling from the pain he cursed this upstart assassin who's last days were upon him now.
Battle ready was his suit but the burning of the material sent its sensors ringing alarm after alarm. The heads up display was full of red blinking text.

That was all he needed his speed, his strength and a weapon...
A flurry of blasts came from the shadowed doorway causing Sanis to drop to the ground narrowly escaping being blown apart. As the shots flew over head his speeder erupted violently in a fiery explosion. The hit struck right in the center of the vehicle. It pitched and spun as two different sections were sent flying in two directions. The trunk tumbled into the park while what was left of the front flew towards Sanis. Saurrons blaster was small but packed a very large punch. Sanis returned a volley of his own to buy him some time but was forced to roll away from the speeder parts coming at him making his shots inacurate.
The area soon took on the look of a war zone as bystanders in the park across the way ran for cover. Coruscant security forces would certainly show sooner or later...

(Sanis hit the deck, coughing as a large dust cloud was kicked up from Saurron's shot. Sanis rolled out of the way as the front half of his speeder tumbled in his direction. Narrowly missing, it skidded to a halt, upside down and understandably totalled. Sanis bit his lip in frustration. Dammit. Add that onto business expenditures.
For a few moments, Sanis simply lay behind the wreckage, gauging the situation. Looked like Saurron took an exit into the office suite. Lying on his back, Sanis reached to his shell gun, opening up the hinging breech and plucking out the two spent shell casings. Listening for blaster reports, Sanis quickly slipped two red mandalorian shells into the double barrels, closing the breech with a c-clack. Peering at the edge of the wreckage's periphery, Sanis attempted to spot Saurron, but could not. He had a hunch, however. Looking to his right, Sanis spotted a garbage dumpster approximately 20 meters away. Grimacing, Sanis moved into a crouch. He would have to be quick on the fly for this to work. Hanging onto his shell gun with his left hand, Sanis unholstered one of his Corellian blasters with his right, and took off, sprinting towards the dumpster. Sanis let 6 or 7 wild shots loose from his blaster, firing at the general vicinity of the door on the first floor. In response, Sanis was shot at a few times as well, the heavy blaster pistol kicking up impressive debris clouds around him. Sanis concentrated, trying to pinpoint a muzzle flash...
...got it! Second window to the right!
Sanis slid across the asphalt as he reached the dumpster. Rolling on his side, Sanis holstered his blaster, and brought up his shell gun.)
Gotcha!
(Sanis squeezed off a shot, sending the shaped-charge warhead shell into the wall adjacent to the window he spotted Saurron in. The entire section of wall was ripped apart in a thunderous blast, sending debris and dust everywhere. Into the chaos, Sanis fired off another round, a few meters to the left, to where the door should be. An equally-powerful explosion thundered forth, as Sanis racked up on the damage. Tucking away behind the dumpster again, Sanis went to removing the spent shell casings.)

Mar 23rd, 2001, 05:10:24 PM
Saurron cursed again as he lay there in the rubble and dust. This mercenary was proving to be quite irritating. An odd thought for one who was clearly at a disadvantage, but vampire were arrogant to the end. And where were the security forces. Saurron almost chuckled as he asked himself that question while getting up from the debris piled on top of him. They were obviously to scared, or paid off to not come. It didn't matter...
The explosions rocked the whole office front. The Merc was obviously well equipped, but the Ysalamiri had been blown out of range as it was taking a little stroll in the park still contained in the back of the trunk courtesy of Saurron's blaster. Saurron felt the familiar cold feeling of the Darkside of the Force return to him, and a glance inside his helm told him Sanis's time was almost up. The day was passing quickly...
Entering a hallway Saurron made his way deeper into the building and up flight of stairs. He would leave his sight causing concern in Sanis's mind. The absence of blaster shots started Sanis thinking *did I hit him so easily*.
Saurron even though having the Force return to him was badly burned and shards of transparasteel were sticking in his skin. Staying on the ground level with that kind of fire power was just dumb. Sanis could blow the whole building but would not know for sure if he actually hit his target. Saurron knew this, and he also knew Sanis needed visual verification for his bosses. Sanis's only choice was to enter the building too...

Saurron grinned at the display...night time was his time...

(Seconds passed...and turned to minutes. Sanis waited, breathing shallowly and anticipating a quick exchange of fire. However, as the debris began to settle, no retaliation came. Puzzled, Sanis wondered if he had scored a direct hit. Somehow, he doubted it. Considering that he was a Sith, and was outside of Roddy's force-null field, he would more than likely only be moderately harmed by the blast, if that much. Sanis continued waiting.
If he wasn't dead, that left a few options:
- He was unconcious. Equally as unlikely as being dead. Sanis gave the Sith more credit than that.
- He was hiding. In this case, the debris would turn the advantage over to him. However, the two explosive shells may have weakened the floor significantly, making it hazardous to remain. Which left...
- He was on the run. Either completely away, or to a better position.
Sanis stood from behind the dumpster. That meant he had to act quickly. Sanis darted over to the rear half of his speeder. Opening the trunk, Sanis first made sure Roddy was okay. Seeing that he was, Sanis rifled through a few of his belongings, removing a large harness of some sort. Fastening it to himself, Sanis activated a control on the front strap. Two small struts dropped from the backpack. On each was a microsized ion engine. Working the thrust and control, Sanis used his jetpack to take off, propelling him up into the air, and towards the office building. Sanis increased his vertical momentum, and soon cleared the roof of the structure. Coming to a slow descent, Sanis touched down on the roof, shutting down the harness. Crouching quickly, Sanis removed both of his corellian blasters, and ran low towards the roof access door. A well-placed blaster shot blew the door control out, and Sanis slid it open, stepping inside.
If Saurron was regrouping, Sanis would try to cut him off at the pass. At any rate...Sanis didn't have long to work. In less than an hour, the sun would go down, and Sanis would prefer to finish things by then.
Running quickly and quietly, Sanis began to negate the upper floors, carefully making his way down.)
SAURRON
Mar 24th, 2001, 03:46:23 AM
Saurron stomped down the hallway, he had faced many Jedi among other things, and beings, thus in his over four hundred years he had never faced someone as creative as one Sanis Prent. Too bad he thought as he continued on peeling the burnt skin as it was replaced with new growing skin. He had a little time now to take a full assesment of what was lost or damaged beyond repair.
Checking himself thoroughly he came to realize that he indeed had a greater number of weapons than he originally thought. Mini blaster, Sith Dagger, Lightsaber, all hanging from his belt, as well as a pouch on his left side containing four spare battery packs for his blaster. His spare blood contained in transparasteel viles for quicker healing in times like this were utterly destroyed.
Turning his head in anger he would just have to deal with this one the old fashion way. Lowering his brow, he marched up the flights of steps through the shadowy hallways of the powerless building, disapearing into the shadows...
Sanis continued making his way through the halls as well, his blasters leading the way. The building had been abandoned for some time now as there was no power to light the way for him. To the center of the structure darkness prevailed and that, thought Sanis is most likely where the creature would be...
And he was right, as Sanis proceeded down yet another hallway as he cleared the levels of the building one by one. The wall of the hallway erupted with a chalky blast, and Sanis found his wrist had been caught by Saurrons cold hand. The initial jerking motion was so great that it pulled Sanis's shoulder out of its socket. The burning of his ligaments tearing paled in comparison to what was about to happen to him...
The excruciating snap was loud and clear as it seperated the ulna and radius from the humorous. With Sanis's arm protruding through the wall Saurron calls out..
There are over two hundred bones in the human body... thats two...
Sanis fought the pain as best he could but was soon to go into shock from the merciless break to his arm. With his face still pinned against the wall Sanis felt the pressure ease as Saurron let him go.
Already at a distance on the other side of the wall Sanis could hear Saurron mock him again.
Your going to die the most horrible death Mr. Prent!
Sanis Prent
Mar 24th, 2001, 05:21:13 PM
(Sanis bit down on his lip to the bleeding point. His arm burned like fire, from the shoulder all the way down. He'd been in enough fights to know that it was dislocated and broken. As Saurron let go, Sanis let it dangle painfully at his side. Quickly, Sanis shuffled to the other side of the hallway, fumbling at his bandolier. With his left arm useless, Sanis was going to have to even the score quickly, or get the hell outta there.
Ahh...there they were. Sanis plucked two shells from his bandolier, palming them as he carefully unlatched the hinge breech of his shell gun. The process was decidedly trickier with one arm, but Sanis eventually loaded a light blue and an orange shell into the chamber, and closed the breech. For seconds that seemed like hours, Sanis waited, listening. He strained to hear the slightest creak of a floorboard, or something that would betray the vampire's location.
Deciding that where there was smoke there was fire, Sanis reached to his belt, plucking a concussion grenade. He set the timer on it for three seconds, and pressed it through the hole in the drywall where Saurron had ambushed him. As soon as he heard the metallic clang of it striking the floor, Sanis ran like hell, sprinting away about 15 meters. The concussion grenade went off, blowing a large hole out of the wall. Futher away, Saurron turned at the sound. As the blast debris began to settle, Sanis charged through the dust cloud, narrowing his eyes to help him see through it. He jumped through the aperture in the wall, and spotted a silhouette approaching. Sanis quickly snatched up his shell gun, drawing a bead on Saurron.)
Eat this!
(Sanis closed his eyes, and squeezed the right trigger, firing the light blue shell towards Saurron. Once clear of the barrel, the shell erupted into a blinding white light, several times brighter than the sun. Also, a deafening bang retorted from the shell as it burst in air, sending sprays of bright light outwards and all over Saurron. The intense burst of full-spectrum light was incredibly damaging to Saurron, and it began to burn away at areas of his exposed skin. As the light of the shell began to fade, Sanis opened his eyes, braced, and fired the left barrel. A loud bang shot out as the orange shell was fired. Sanis closed his eyes in expectation as an even louder bang was heard almost immediately afterwards, as the shell's microsized hyperdrive engine activated, sending the 16 mm slug into lightspeed, heading towards Saurron's chest.)
SAURRON
Mar 25th, 2001, 12:20:21 AM
His chest erupted in flame then died as the light rays from Sanis's shell ceased. Yelling inside his helm, Saurron's anger catapulted to a new high, and wanted to fry Sanis on the spot but the Yslamiri prevented that.
Saurron had figured out Sanis's one, two punch attack method after his second attack with the Mandolorian gun, and instinctively knew another shot was heading for him before the trigger was even pulled. The sonic bang sounded, but Saurron already had his arms up trying to shield himself from the damaging light that filled the hallway.
The Darkside though was with him, as he was out of range of Roddy's force null bubble. The HK187 mini blaster bolt leapt forward at the same instance as the second bang sounded off. Directed by the force the projectiles met in an outworldly blast just as the large shell went to lightspeed (leaving behind a few wispy circles hanging there in mid air) sending both of them reeling backwards and to the floor landing hard on their backs with loud thuds.
Saurron's skin on his chest crackled as he moved, his once pale skin was black now with crisscrossing veins of blood leaking through the charred tissue. The pain would have sent a human man into shock for sure, but he was no mere man he was Vampyre. He would show this pitiful excuse for a human what real pain was.
Saurron leapt to his feet pain lining his face although unseen to Sanis. Sanis did the same but was beat to the punch. Even damaged Saurron's inherent speed was much faster than Sanis's. Sanis could not load that cursed Mandolorian gun quick enough. Saurron barreled down the hall the Darkside propelling him become a mere blur to Sanis. Before he knew it Saurron was in front of him.
The moment Sanis saw Saurron move he had dropped his heavy gun to the floor knowing that he could not reload fast enough. He may have had one broken arm but the other worked just fine as the blaster on that side slid from his holster with gunslinger speed. The blaster rose, but was met with a swiping hand from Saurron, sending it flying out of Sanis's won hand into the wall then clacking to the floor. A back handed fist befell Sanis's face on the return swing with one fluid motion.
The impact was tremendous, pain rushed through the whole side of his head, as it jerked sideways leading his body away from Saurron and into the opposite wall. His face hit the wall first then his dislocated and broken arm followed. Sanis let out a yell. With Sanis's right jaw and cheek bone shattered he slid down the wall to his knees...
Thats four Mr. Prent Saurron said, looking down with disdain for the mercenary sent to kill him.
Saurron's chest was on fire, it heaved in and out as he stood in the force null bubble of Roddy the Yslamiri, the Darkside no longer taking the edge off. One thing was for sure that little beast had to go if her were to continue on...

Saurron's chest was on fire, it heaved in and out even though he had regained the power of the Darkside. Saurron thought again how troublesome this one had been and what a joy it would be draining the life from him letting him feel his own heartbeat slowly stop as there would be no fluid of life to pump through it...

(Sanis leaned against the wall, his head reeling from the shock of the strike. He blinked, seeing two of Saurron approaching. Damn, this one was quickly going to crap in a heartbeat. Glancing down, Sanis spotted his shell gun. Well, that was a no go. At best, Sanis could load it in 10 seconds, and Sanis was the first to admit that he wasn't "at best" at the moment. He had another Corellian blaster, but reaching it with his good arm was too cumbersome. That left Sanis a few options. He had his wrist-mounted derringer, but Sanis didn't think he could bring it up in time. Not to mention, it wasn't designed for heavy-duty work. There was the "gentleman" handblaster in his jacket, but...
Sanis spit some blood against the wall, watching it trickle down. He hoped bacta had cosmetic properties to it, cause he wasn't about to walk around with a prizefighter's face. Sanis needed a quick out, and he needed one fast.
Listening to Saurron's words, Sanis painfully smiled, laughing slightly.
That's four, huh?
Sanis reached weakly to his belt, finding a cool metal sphere clipped to the side. Feeling around, Sanis began to thumb a small dial on its side, clicking as it was turned. He smiled at Saurron, as best as one with a broken jaw could.)
And this...
(Sanis unclipped the Imperial MicroGrav)
...is five.
(Sanis punched the activation key, and immediately felt his body crumple to the ground. As his hand hit the wooden floor with a thud, Sanis let the sphere roll, heading towards Saurron. The gravity generator began to roll at Saurron, and soon Sanis was out of its 5x gravity intensification zone. However Saurron was now in it. Even with Vampyre attributes, Saurron had to brace as standing began to become a chore, turning a 200 pound man into half a ton of mass. Jumping to his feet, Sanis dug into his jacket pocket, bringing up the intricately-designed, brass and wood Duronian "gentleman" handblaster. With a flourish, Sanis brought the heavy-punch dueling weapon to bear on Saurron, smiled his best, and turned slightly to the left, sending all five high-power blaster bolts into the building's outer wall, blowing away a circular region with a one meter radius. Through the maelstrom of dust and debris, crippling sunlight once again struck Saurron in full. Even Sanis had to squint against the glare, as his eyes were used to the dark of the building. As Saurron dealt with the rays of the sun, Sanis tucked his handblaster away, quickly moved forward, and snatched up his shell gun. As the grav sphere ran out of power, Saurron saw Sanis take a flying leap out of the hole in the wall, the whine of ion engines gracing his ears a second later.)
SAURRON

The Cursed Star spun Saurron around to where most of his body still had protection via his enviro suit. The burning was intense, even for the short time the rays had laid on his skin. Smoke born of his burning dead skin was illuminated in the suns rays as they invaded the once darkened hallways.
Quickly moving to the shadows Saurron leaned against the wall wondering if the tenacious Sanis would be back for another attack. When it did not come Saurron signaled his apprentice Soth to bring his shuttle to the now half destroyed building. The rumble of the shuttle flying close to the structure alerted Saurron of his arrival as he was using the force to feign the pain that Sanis caused him.
It would take a day or two for Saurron to completely heal from two natural strikes of the Cursed Star and one simulated. His chest crackled with every movement as Soth brought him a cover made of the same material, having the density to completely stop the burning rays.
The whine of Sanis's jet pack was now etched in his mind. So too was his heartbeat...Saurron would have his revenge for such an attack on him.
May the Force have mercy on Sanis Prent...and his foolish employer... for Saurron will not.

(Sanis came to a stop as his ion engine jetpack gave out, sending him into a large corporate fountain. Moments later, Sanis struggled out, coughing slightly. He felt like utter crap run over, and he could use some dry clothes now. Flopping down to the ground below, Sanis just lay there for a moment and caught his breath. Saurron more than likely woudn't be following him, given the amount of sunlight still out. However, he wouldn't soon forget this little encounter, and he'd probably be up for a repeat encounter. Coughing, Sanis sat up. It seemed like every part of his body hurt...even his hair. Smirking, Sanis got to his feet, and slowly began to walk to the speeder lot, to pick up anything able to be salvaged out of his speeder. Dammit, that was the second one this year. Oh well, he'd have to write it off as a business expenditure.
Reaching the speeder, Sanis began to pull some equipment from the trunk, as well as Roddy's nutrient cage. Sanis then reached for his comm unit. He'd have to call a hovercab today, at least. Sighing and wincing, Sanis wondered why he put up with this crap. Then he remembered. Somebody was paying Sanis great money to lay a beating on Saurron. He would be compensated.)
