*The Sith Infiltrator lay idle on the mountainside. If one could call it a mountainside! To look at, the hill was barren and rocky, aesthetically similar to a great mountain ridge. But in actual fact, it was perhaps no higher than one hundred metres. Though it was taller than the great Necropolis, the hill was dwarfed by the awesome might of the Eternal Pyre.*
*Eternal was an understatement. Should time stop, this great inferno would still continue to burn beyond existence. The intense heat of the flames, and the mystical energy of the dark spirits within it lit up the mans face. Though it was dark, the flames were more than enough to highlight his facial features hidden by the hood of his cloak. He glared deep into the undying flames, searching for something long lost. Though his eyes did not show that, for he seemed to be staring through the flames at the hill on the other side of the pyre...staring at nothing. As hot as it was, the Sith did not have a bead of sweat on his person. In fact - Garrett was as cold as death itself.*
*The two beasts of the Dark Side, Shiva and Fenix - Garrett's pet Tuk'ata's - waited patiently on either side of their Master as he stood there. They were not even aware of what was going on behind them, whereas Garrett was fully aware of the situation. Several re-animated skeletons stood near the base of the rocky hill. Each one accompanied by another. The undead warriors each wielded a rusty broadsword in one hand, and in the other...a very distressed member of the New Republic.*
*Vanden Willard was shaking so much that he might have been mistaken for one of the "shambling hordes" himself! Amongst the unfortunate captives were many well known faces - Kaiya Andrimetrum, an excellent New Republic Commander, Adar Tallon, one of the more well known Generals in the Republic, Bren Derlin, one of the executive members of the New Republic's command staff, Crix Madine, Jan Dodonna, and Drayson - the once proud commander of the Chandrila Defence Fleet prior to Imperial intervention.*
*Each and every one of them did not speak a word, nor did they scream for help for it would do them no good. They were not the only ones keeping quiet - their captives did not talk. Their captives couldn't talk, but thats what happens when your tongue decomposes along with the rest of your body. One of the skeletons turned to it's prisoner...and Vandem Willard gasped in horror as he found himself staring into the lifeless pits that were the skeletons black eye sockets.*
*Finally, Garrett turned his attention away from the pyre and addressed the New Republic personnel who were present...an evil grin crossed his lips...*
Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please. You have no idea how much I'd be prepared to be in your situation right now! But then again...somebody has to sacrifice you now don't they!
*Garrett once again turned away from them, and held his hands out towards the flames of the pyre, caressing them gently. Suddenly, the flames roared high up into the night sky. And as if they weren't already high enough! The Eternal Pyre was now a towering inferno...the Imperial Palace couldn't hold a candle up to it! As this happened, something stirred...in the Mausoleum...*

Within an enormous hall, illuminated by many tall, burning laterns of hay which cracked and blackened high upon it's towering arches. It was very much circular in shape, the floor was decorated with motifs from milenia ago, however it still looked new, it gleamed in the light as though polished. Across the marble floor a figure walked, wearing a long flowing robe and a hood which leaned over his face hiding his identity but not his eeire presence.
His footsteps echoed, the spiraling ceiling provided unearthly acoustical effects which were carried throughout the entire structure of the ancient temple. It's dark, empty hallways created their own maze with no means of escape.
The figure walked calmly to the center of the room after entering from a large corridoor, veiled in darkness, shadows danced about on the floor, the air was soaked in fear. The fear of the seven children, who were bound to the walls by wrist binders around the large hall, which in the center stood an alter.
All seven youngsters had, after the three days going without food or water, fell to their knees with exhaustion, they had no more energy to cry or to moan in angony, they had lost all hope and had accepted the inevitable.
The ominous figure now stood before the alter, then without acknowledging the children around them began to talk to himself, his words were undeciferable. On the alter before him, was a small open book, and to the side of that, a single candle, about ten inches tall, it burned slowly as it had been doing for the last three days.
Suddenly, a chilling breeze entered the room and began revolving around it's curved features. As the man spoke, it's velocity picked up and there was an eerie whistling sound. The children didn't move, they didn't even shiver.
As the mans voice grew louder, the winds grew stronger until they finally matured into powerful torents which surged throughout the Mausoleum and met in the swirling vortex at the center of the temple. The man began to shout, his voice now booming in competition with the howling of the winds, his words now clear.
"Estuans interius ira vehementiLoquor mee menti sedementisMiser! Me rogus urit fertiterMortuus in animaDescendo ad infernumEt verum plango vulneraQuod per sortem est imanis et inanisHac in hora mecum omnes plangite!"
Upon finishing the verse, his fingers which had crept over the candle, pinched at the burning flame which dissapeared in a swirl of smoke.
At that moment, the seven children's fragile little bodies erupted into flames, they screamed as loud as they could but in their weakened state were no more than simple whispers. The flames lept high into the air and were wrapped tightly in the swirling wind torrents. Forming a swirling tornade of fire around the room, licking at the walls and scorching them as it did.
From the burning bodies leapt seven ghostly figures which were pulled into the vortex, the spirits began to scream in terror as they were sucked down into the winds. The tonado began to close in on the center of the room where the man stood, his arms lifted into the air in acceptance as the seven young souls were pulled down. The white spirit light made contact with his finger tips and was pulled into his body rapidly, as the light dissapeared, the screams were silenced.
The winds siezed their powerful twisting and calmed and eventually dissapated. Leaving the room silent and undisturbed, except for the ashes and scorched bone that was piled in several small mounds about the hall.
The ceremony had begun.

Jedi Rebel X
Apr 20th, 2001, 11:07:14 PM
::Stars suddenly stopped flying by, no longer blurred by the effects of hyperspace. Hours before the message had been sent, but now he had finally been able to get there. Breaking out of hyperspace, Stormchaser began to descend upon the planet, unusually darkened.
Rebel shuddered as something came over him...people crying out in enormous pain::
"Errgh....sith..."
He sensed it from an area up a ways on the planet. Shaking it off he piloted his ship up that ways a little, and decided to land nearby a hill in the distance. He got out of his seat and strapped on his sabers, among other supplies he might need. Pulling on his hood, Rebel walked down Stormchaser's gangplank into a patch of fog.
It hit him with an icy chill, making the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
"Always nice to be the first one around." Rebel muttered to himself as the gangplank closed.
Making sure he was alone, Rebel began to walk up a path leading into darkness, his instincts guiding him. Being ready for sith to pop out, he cleared some of the fog using the force.
Anbira Hicchoru
Apr 20th, 2001, 11:10:35 PM
:: The screaming of engines signaled the arrival of the Oozaru II, Anbira Hicchoru's personal craft. The sleek vessel touched down next to the hill where the captives were being sacrificed. As Anbira exited, he felt some of their life forces slipping away. He closed his eyes, fists clenching. He knew that it was the only way to take care of the Jedi. They had to be compelled to fight. To do this, somebody had to die. The damned hipocrisy of it all...that the grace of the Jedi had to be brought about by blood. It was enough to drive him to madness. Anbira's eyes stared madly at the burning pyre as he approached, commanding the Force to carry him on the wind. Everyone inside turned to look as the aged Sith Master approached the top of the hill. When he spoke to Garrett, it was with a low voice. ::
Whatever must be done to bring this to fruition...do so quickly.

Jedi Knight Leia Solo
Apr 20th, 2001, 11:46:34 PM
**A modified X-Wing Fighter with it's pilot Jedi Master Leia Solo, was returning from a trip from Tatooine, when suddenly Leia felt a huge disturbance in the force. It was a sudden shrill of horror from some innocent civilians, that with in moments were silence forever. The Jedi Master focused on the location of this hideous deed, realizing it was just the beginning of more despicable crimes to come from the sith.**
**Leia quickly punched the coordinates on the console and set its course for the planet. In time the X-Wing arrived to its destination. The craft gently landed in an opening nearby the Valley right outside the foothills. Slowly a ladder descended, as the petite Jedi Master took off her pilot's helmet and threw it on her seat. She quickly climbed down the ladder and surveyed the surroundings. Leia sensed a few force presences from both sides of the force. One in particular stood out in Leia's mind. The Jedi Master focused in on it and quickly made her way up the hill following the force signature of...Jedi Knight Rebel. Within moments Leia caught up to Rebel. Rebel turned around to see Leia right next to him. Not one word was uttered between the two. They just nodded knowingly what they must do. Leia grabbed her saber and unclipped it from her belt..sensing the two jedi would be coming up to the sith momentarily**

*Though not a single acknowledgement was given, Garrett knew fully well that Anbira had arrived. Though he seemed not to take his words to heed, since he did not rush in the slightest. Garrett simply carried on caressing the mighty flames of eternity...when he suddenly stopped...*
*Garrett turned from the pyre slowly...bringing his gaze down on the captives. He walked over to Vanden Willard and grasped the Govenor's chin, smiling at him, knowing that he would soon be dead. Garrett sensed something...a presence he had not felt before, and a second...one that he had only briefly known in the past. So...there were two Jedi on Korriban! Garrett pulled Vanden over to the pyre by his chin, the two skeleton warriors following...*
Looks like the foolish, valiant Jedi are going to attempt to save you pathetic excuses for leaders! Well hows this for fun - for every Jedi that shows up...I'll check one person out prematurely hmm?! That sounds like a good deal doesn't it!?!
*Smiling evily, Garrett picked Vanden up by his chin, lifting him off the ground by several inches, then effortlessly hurled him into the pyre. As Vanden's body passed through the swirling flames, his skin was literally torn from his body. The skin and flesh instantly evaporated due to the intense heat of the orange vortex, whilst the skeletal remains charred until they were a black copper of death. The skeleton continued to swirl around in the center of the pyre for a few moments, when eventually the bones exploded apart, flying outwards from all sides of the pyre. But one thing remained inside the vortex...a soul. The soul of Vandem Willard.*
*Though apparently consisting of spiritual energy, the soul seemed to catch fire and burn within the pyre...and as he did so before the end of his life...Vandem Willard continued to scream in death...that was until Garrett held his hand against the Eternal Pyre, and commanded the burning soul to come to him. And just as quickly as it had appeared, the soul of Vandem Willard ws consumed by Garrett Blade.*
*As Garrett stepped back slightly as he breathed deeply, as if inhaling the already accumulated power of the spirit...a great many things stirred...in the forests around the Valley...and in the valley itself...*
JediBeldarine
Apr 21st, 2001, 01:11:18 AM
**Beldarine was lost in thought, inputing the coordinates that would take the Serpent's Kiss back to her home at the Greater Jedi Order. Her eyes closed as the events of the past few days washed over her. The light of the Force calmed her nerves and allowed her to breathe easily. The Force enveloped her, cradling her conciousness as though it were the finest glass. As her hand neared the controls to send her ship back home, a powerful scream echoed through her mind.
**Through the Force she could sense the anguish of seven young souls. Souls that were reft from their bodies needlessly -- children's souls. A sense of outrage boiled inside of her, only Sith could be this cruel. Bel stayed her hand, reaching out with the Force she plugged in the coordinates that would take her to check on the disturbance. Within seconds of punching the button, her ship pulled from hyperspace by a large planet, unknown to her. She felt the force signatures of two fellow Jedi, beating her to the scene of the crime. Entering the atmosphere, Bel found a large clearing and touched down. Looking to the left she saw Rebel's ship had already landed.
**Clipping the saber to her belt, she took off jogging. Feeling the two Force signatures converging on a similar spot, Bel started in that direction. Her midnight blue cloak flowed behind her in the wind as she ran, closing the distance between her and her Jedi friends.
**As the young woman crested a hill, she caught a glimpse of Rebel and Leia standing there. She walked up to stand in between the two of them, nodding at both.
Warren Azalin
Apr 21st, 2001, 01:18:24 AM
:: Darkness, nothing more than a cold void of emptiness and hatred. The waves kept hitting him time after time as him and Ryla headed back towards the Greater Jedi Order, they had gone on a small reconnaissance mission to a tiny secluded planet but now Warren could see there were more pressing matters. Hitting the buttons on his counsel he changed coordinates as he began heading towards the uneasy presence calling to him ::
"Hey Ryla I hope you don't mind but seems we have a slight change of plans, seems us Jedi are needed elsewhere."
:: Piloting quickly through the vastness of space Warren came upon the troubled planet, he could feel tendrils of darkness emanating from this seemingly once quiet place. That was all over now though, now the planet was filled with Darkness and it was Warren's duty as a Jedi to help cleanse the place of the evil ::
:: Slowly piloting his Missleboat through the planets atmosphere Warren found a nearby place to land and began to secure his craft. Grabbing his sabers tightly he put on his Jedi robes as he made it towards the bay doors ::
"Ryla I am going to run up ahead and see what we're dealing with ok. When your ready come meet up with me alright."
:: Moments later the Jedi was out of his ship and heading towards the heart of the darkness, he could feel the evil all around him but that's not what caught him off guard. Not to far ahead of him stood three figures, one a long time friend, one a promising padawan and the other his one time Master. Cautiously walking towards them he unhooked his saber as he nodded to them slowly, at least he wouldn't have to do this alone ::

Apr 21st, 2001, 01:48:53 AM
::Rebel turned and faced the others::
"Glad to see I'm not going to be heading off on this alone. How about we get going?"
::Then Rebel sensed it, the sickening feeling of someone else perishing to the sith. He could see the others also felt it, each one with a digusted and shocked look on his/her face::
"Let's get up there before anyone else has to die."
::Rebel begins to run this time, using the force to aid his speed, hoping to reach the sith before any more have to die::

I watched as Warren walked off towards the gathering of Jedi, and set off into a light sprint until I caught up with the group. I could feel that something was not right around here, but couldn't put my finger on it until I realized that it was the corruption of the Force.
"Great." I mumbled to myself, "Just what I need."
Live Wire
Apr 21st, 2001, 02:00:52 AM
*the light from the fire created an erie shadow on Live Wires face. Her features were hidden from sight by the hood of her long black cloak. Her yellow lightsaber was ignited in her hands as she kept an eye on her captives. She knew the jedi would come and she relished the thought of a good fight. It had been to long since she had clashed sabers with a jedi and she longed for the thrill of the kill.
She pulled back her hood letting her long black hair spill over her shoulders. She looked one of the captives in the eyes and grinned evilly.*
Be grateful! Your death will be one of the easiest! Your would be rescuers should pray for such an easy death.
*she could sense the fear and she relished it, she thrived on it! She grabbed a woman by the throat and smiles as she screamed in terror*
You're scared of me? Good!
*she moved down to a man who was trying to be stoic and grabbed his neck in the same way*
And you! You're wondering how a beautiful woman could be taking part in this.
*she laughed in his face*
You underestimate me! I'll see you die personally.
*she turned from them and watched some of the siths ships land. Good reinforcements. She had landed the strike safely some distance away. This was going to be a glorious day!*

Vega Van Derveld
Apr 21st, 2001, 04:02:09 AM
:: The was a loud whirring and chuntering within the cockpit of Red Dwarf as the ship burst from hyperspace back into reality. It's pilot, Sith Knight Vega Van-Derveld, toggled at a few of the controls on the dash, rearing the ship towards the planet in view.
He had sensed, as others had too, that sacrifices were being made upon some plain around these parts. Sacrifices meant Jedi coming to help out. Jedi meant battle. Battle meant he was there.
He could see what looked like Sith Master Anbira's personal craft below as his gunship lowered itself down onto the surface of the planet.
THUD
The engines cut off, leaving charred patterns on the hill side. A strong wind howl past for a moment before dying suddenly. As Vega exited the ship he could feel that the wind was not the only thing that had recently died. ::

Nichos Marr
Apr 21st, 2001, 10:09:54 AM
"Well it's not my fault you can't navigate properly!" Nichos shouted at his droid. His X-wing had crash landed on this desolate planet. The Sith were here for something, and as a Jedi Knight it was his duty to figure out what.
"Vreee vrooo," The droid replied, obviously sad. A smile crept upon Nichos' face. He had been with his droid long enough to understand what it said and it's emotions. Nichos was one of the few that believed droids had emotions and rights too.
"No don't worry Artoo, it's not your fault. I should've stayed with the others. And we'll be fine! I swear," Nichos assured. His hand got a good grip on his lightsaber just incase something or someone did decide to attack. "The others landed I know it," Nichos thought aloud. He began to walk, reaching out with the Force. His droid followed, rolling across the sandy floor.
This planet was not a pretty sight at all. It looked dead. "Perfect place for the Sith," Nichos muttered, "Hey Artoo, what's the planet called again?"
"Vrorrorooo," The droid beeped out. Suddenly, a holoprojected image appeared from it's photon lens. Nichos crouched down and read Korriban.
A Sith mausoleum? Nichos thought. He now had a pretty good clue why the Sith had come here. It was probably for some ritual or burial. But no Sith have died recently. Nichos pondedered on his thoughts for a moment. All he would have to do is find his way to this Eternal Pyre.
The Jedi Knight reached out with the Force, contacting his friends, "Nichos here. It's ok everyone, I'm fine. I'll meet up with you guys later. Until then..."
Nichos kept on walking. He kept his senses alert for anything that decided to start trouble. His droid followed behind a little hesitant.

*Rons old N-1 Fighter lands by the conflict*
Its time to go to full power
*Rons usual armour metemorphisices into full body armour with his usual cape. The armourlooks ancient. He puts his sward thing in an arm mount on his right arm, and ataches his shield to the top of it. His Lightsaber sticks up on a stick from a mount on his left arm. It then starts spinning realy fast and becomes a second sheild. He picks up his war club in both hands. Then two angelic wings came from slits on the back of his armour, then light on fire.*
It's time to smash stuff.
Boaz Karno
Apr 21st, 2001, 02:36:25 PM
Boaz Karno got the distress call, this wasn't good, Sith + Korriban + NR hostages... Just thinking of what the Sith had in store for the New Republic officials that they had taken hostage was enough to make Boaz put his X-Wing into overdrive. He broke the planet's atmosphere and could feel the dark energy emanating from the planet. This wasn't going to go well. As a Jedi Padawan Boaz always sought the peaceful resolution unlike some of the Jedi students which he'd come across. The Sith however weren't seeking such resolutions. They had one thing on their mind and one thing only: blood. Whether it was the blood of the innocents or the blood of the Jedi was up to the protectors of the Galaxy but if Boaz Karno had anything to say about it the hostages would go free.
"R4 find me a safe place to land on this rock."
The astromech droid replied with a series of beeps and whistles accompanied by landing coordinates which landed him about 35km out of Valley of the Dark Lords. He would have to make his way on foot but at least he wouldn't be recognized right off the bat.
He landed in the recesses of a small valley and instructed R4 to communicate with him via the comm. if anything were to go wrong. The cockpit of the X-Wing opened and Boaz Karno hopped out, he looked down to the lightsaber that was dangling at his side. Just months ago he had trained with the Jedi Master Drin Kizael. Kizael left on a mission of unknown importance to Boaz, their training had ended prematurely but Boaz had continued on his own following the teachings of the holocron which Kizael had left behind. With his limited knowledge gained by the holocron and the lightsaber which Kizael left behind Boaz had continued his training to this day furthering his education in the ways of the Jedi.
He began his hike into the rugged terrain of Korriban with only his lightsaber and his skills in the Force to aid him, but the Force was more than an apt ally. He could vaguely sense the presence of others on the planet and he knew there were Sith here. Soon he'd undergo the true tests of a Jedi. Soon he'd have to prove himself in battle. Soon he would face the Sith
Morgan Evanar
Apr 21st, 2001, 03:22:42 PM
Live Wire certainly seemed to be enjoying herself as she roughed up the prisoners a bit.
Metal clinked against shaking teeth as Morgan stared into the shuttle's guard. The blaster waved at him earlier apparently hadn't bother him, but staring down somthing where you could see the round chamebred apparently did.
He again clinked the edge of his massive firearm against the guard's pearly whites. Evanar lifted it slightly as the guard opened his eyes. He quickly shut them again, instead of staring at the round waiting for him in the chamber.
"I've... I've... got a family. Please."
Morgan raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Look on the bright side, when I kill them, you can see them."
He patted the guard on the side of the cheek gently with one hand, and then suddenly came across with the butt of his Desert Eagle. He spit blood, and out came a tooth.
"You thought I was going to be nice and let you sit there. You're not my guest."
Morgan's mood abruptly shifted. He could feel the Jedi coming.
"Ah, good! A challenge!"
Ralin Zoth
Apr 21st, 2001, 03:40:15 PM
Ralin Zoth stood there clothed in his black cloak which rested on his shoulders like a cape, his eyes squinting from the intense heat of the fire which burned in front of him stared out at the hostages who quivered with thoughts of impending doom. His long dark black hair tied back in a pony-tail rested on his back. His appearance was dark and ominous from his ravenous black hair to his rustic battle-worn ebony boots.
"The Jedi better show..." Ralin whispered to himself but he knew they would. In fact his thoughts told him that they were here now, he couldn't tell how many or how strong but he definitely sensed the glimmer of light somewhere out on the horizon. This would be his chance to reap vengeance, for the years of pointless Jedi training he'd endured. For the constant nagging from the uptight Jedi Masters. What he wouldn't give to take the crimson blade of his lightsaber and cleave the green Jedi Master's head with his pointy ears from his age-worn shoulders. The rage flowed through Ralin like blood through a vessel that was ready to burst.
He paced back and forth rapidly with his hands balled into tight fists the anger was swelling inside of him and he needed some outlet to rid himself of this awesome energy.
He looked over his right shoulder to see the hostages huddled on the ground sobbing, their eyes red from the tears which welled up in their eyes. He walked over and picked the man up by the throat he squeezed it with all his physical muscle.
"What? What's that you say?" Ralin said in a mocking tone although the anger could be sensed with every breath that he expelled.
The man tried to let out a whimper, any kind of release from the exquisite pain which he felt but he couldn't manage anything except the tears which ran down his face and onto Ralin's hand which gripped the man's neck like a tightly strung noose.
"You cry! The great General Jan Dodonna weeps tears from his eyes like a new born baby? You cry now because it will be your last!" Ralin said as the anger only just began to build in the man.
He lifted the man so that his feet dangled inches above the ground and then held him there as the man gripped at Ralin's hands trying to free himself of the grasp but to no avail. Ralin walked towards the Eternal Pyre with the man still held above his head. They could feel the intense flames burning as they got closer. Ralin Zoth held the man high in his right hand the man could hardly afford the energy to struggle anymore as the oxygen intake ceased to flow to his brain. Ralin held the man closer... closer to the flame ready to toss the man to his ultimate fate but then he stopped. He lifted the man even higher, and higher, and then tossed the man chest first into the cold hard surface. The man gasped as he breathed in the air as if it was his very first breath. He swallowed the oxygen like the sweetest nectar he'd ever tasted. He lie there lifeless except for his body which rose up and down as his lungs worked hard to fill themselves with the life force which they'd been lacking.
Ralin wasn't satisfied with the mere visions of horror which now occupied Jan Dodonna's mind, no... he was out for blood. He reached down and lifted the man's head by what receeding hair he had left so that the man's eyes were glued on Ralin's, the look of sheer fear in his eyes only angered Ralin more.
"You look at me... and you remember me... because I will be the LAST thing you EVER remember.
With quickness that would be unseen by the good General Ralin Zoth's lightsabe was unclipped from the belt as his waist and ignited. The blood red blade was held above his head in his right hand ready to strike.
"You... will... remember..." With that Ralin swung his blade in a flash which the man wouldn't have seen coming, and now he would never see anything coming again. "... my blade" Ralin finished.
He reached down and grasped the head of Jan Dodonna in his left hand while holding his 'saber in his right. He held the head high above him in a celebratory manner. "COME! COME FACE ME YOU COWARDS!" Ralin screamed as he felt the true nature of the Dark Side flowing through him. The neck which used to be attached to Jan Dodonna's head flowed the crimson blood, the blood washed down Ralin's hand and continued to stream down his arm before before the cauterized wound ceased to spout blood.
"YOU WILL ALL SUFFER!" Ralin screamed as he looked to the other hostages who sat there staring on in unison.
He kicked the body of the man several times before launching it into the Eternal Pyre.
He looked into the lifeless eyes of Jan Dodonna who's head he held in his hand and brought it to his own eye level. He tossed the head into the infernal flames reuniting it with the body which it used to be attached to.
"Come! COME YOU COWARDS!" Ralin yelled at the top of his lungs, a challenge to any and all Jedi whom they'd tried to lure here.
With that he turned and walked away from the site where the Sith had gathered, he'd take matters into his own hands, HE would find the Jedi. And the unlucky Jedi that crossed his path would be lucky to meet as quick a death as the great general.
Gav Mortis
Apr 21st, 2001, 09:11:58 PM
Gav stood motionless for a moment, the burning torches had been extinguished by the winds which had entered and left the room. In the dark, he breathed heavily, feeling refreshed, revitalised and powerful after feeding on the life force of those children. It was an increadible feeling.
He relished the moment, another seven young, innocent lives laid waste for his personal wants and needs; he was ready for battle.
With that he walked out of the large hall, and negotiated his way about the temple and it's dark, unsettling corridoors when finally he came to a large stone wall. It was several meters high and several meters wide forming a large, shining marble surface.
Slowly, Gav approached it, rasing up his hand as he did so, holding it out in front of him as he neared. He seemed to whisper something as his finger tips touched the cold stone surface, ripples were sent out from the epicenter of his touch. The wall seemed to liquidate at his touch and he walked through it without hesitation. He came out on the other side and rippling in the wall slowed and settled, the wall finally solidifying once again.
He walked across a stretch of barren wasteland, a thick blanket of fog had once again settled in the valley and there was a chilly breeze to the air. The hooded figure made his way slowly through the valley coming across a young man, who was cautiously approaching the Eternal Pyre. He was giving off a light side aura through the force and was wielding a lightsaber. He was a young Jedi Padawan, no doubt here with his Master who surely isn't too far away. Gav neared closer and closer.
The Jedi turned swiftly, igniting his saber as he sensed the Dark Side presence behind, only to find that there was no one there. For a moment, he stood bewildered, puzzled-he could've sworn he sensed a Sith presence.
Suddenly, he could feel it once again, his fear rose up inside and he quickly turned only to be lifted into the air several meters above the ground. He looked down to see standing before him a dark, robed figure, his hood hiding his face, his hands clasped together calmly.
Without any gesturing, or acknowledgement the Jedi's flesh began to pull, he struggled against the overwhelming power but to no avail, it was useless. He screamed in horror as his skin became tighter and started spliting creating gaping wounds. With another cry his flesh and clothing were completely torn free from his body, revealing a bloody mass of muscle tissue.
The body fell limp on the floor, but he began crawling in agonising pain, he pleaded with the man for a mercy killing but Gav simpley took out a thin dagger and slowly approached the fallen Padawan who was crawling away in fright.
The blade was impaled straight into his stomach and the after one more stab, punctured his lung, blood began to erupt from his mouth, covering his muscles. He cried, moaned and twitched in agony as the Sith left him without a word or acknowledgement. After several hours of silent suffering, he died.
Gav finally arrived at the Pyre several minutes after his meeting with the Jedi Padawan. He walked toward the burning fire and looked on, in silence.

By the way, that Jedi Padawan I killed was a character I just made up before anyone calls God-Moding. :)

*Gav walked slowly over to the Eternal Pyre, coming within whispering distance of his former apprentice, Garrett Blade. Though his master was next to him, Garrett did not turn to greet or even look at Gav. He just stood there, looking at the flames, and listening...*
*In the midsts of the Valley of the Dark Lords, not too far from the Mausoleum, a tomb was stirring. The ancient stone slab looked as if it had not been moved for centuries. Thick moss crept up the side and round the corner of the sealed entrance to the tomb. Deadly poisonous thorns stuck out from the vines that were partially consealed by the moss. The dirt just before the entrance had not been disturbed since it's occupant first moved in. But as the stone slab began to vibrate slightly, dust and dirt and cobwebs began to shake off the doorway leading down into the crypt of the tomb. Strangely enough, noises could be heard down in the darkness. What seemed like beastly voices echoed up from the abyss. And almost in response to the quiet voices, more could be heard throughout the valley and in the surrounding forests...*
*Garrett smiled to Gav, who saw this and smiled back. Garrett turned to face away from the Eternal Pyre, lifted up his arms high above his head and shouted to all those around him...*
Lets start this party with a bang!!!
*The Pyre exploded. A gigantic fireball errupted from within the inferno, and was sent high into the air and out into space within seconds, lighting up the area for several miles...*

::Rebel had kept running, using the force to speed himself up. He stopped abruptly, halfway up a small hill. He had sensed something.
"Sith......." He whispered to himself.
::Cloaking himself with the force, Rebel began to climb the small hill. As he made it to the top he got down on his stomach and began to crawl. Making it to the top, a cold blast of air hit him in the face. After it stopped he could see what was on the other side clearly...a huge pyre, with the NR members tied up around it. Looking around he noticed a collage of sith, and looking back he saw some of his fellow jedi coming. Rebel turned around, and waited for the others to come closer::

"Artoo stay back." Nichos commanded. The Knight darted across the landscape ad slid behind a rock. He dared to peek over, using the Force to enhance his vision. "Morgan," Nichos whispered.
The Knight forced himself upwards, still holding his deactivated lightsaber. He walked from the rock, and could clearly be seen by the fallen Jedi. Nichos felt the Force around him. It was hard to feel the Force in such a desolate place like this.
"Hey there," Nichos shouted, obviously trying to catch the Sith's attention. Nichos kept on walking towards the Fallen Jedi. "Didn't expect to see you here Evaner."

::The burst of flame from the fire lit everything around, sending out a wave of light. As the light spread over the hill, Rebel's figure could be seen at the top. Throwing off his cloak, Rebel stared at the sith, his saber in hand. With a press of his thumb, the blue blade ignited upward, the familiar sound following it. Rebel turned around to see Warren also getting up and coming. Flipping to the ground where the sith stood, Rebel gripped his saber tightly::

The Jedi Padawan trudged on towards what was known as the Eternal Pyre, an inferno which extended from what seemed like hell to the heavans. He was getting closer but was still a long way off from where the action was taking place. This wasn't going to end pretty. The Sith would not simply submit to the will of the Jedi. No this was going to be a battle for sure, a battle that would end the only way a battle like this can; bloody.
He continued until he saw a fireball shoot from the base of the all encompassing flame, he stopped and raises his right forearm instinctively covering his face. The massive ball illuminated the surrounding area for miles. He paused for a moment returning his arm to his side and continued up the hill in double time. With the aid of the Force he concentrated on sensing his surroundings and increasing his physical abilities. He continued on for several minutes until he was within a few short miles of the Eternal Pyre.
He slowed his run from an all out sprint to a light jog as he got closer. He sensed something, something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. He stopped in his tracks and closed his eyes concentrating his energy on sensing his surroundings. He felt something through the Force, a disturbance, he often felt this in varying degrees when someone was manipulating the Force for either light or dark purposes. This was more of a ripple than tremor, a constant pulsating which grew closer and closer. He couldn't tell whether the presence was good or evil, just that it was getting closer and closer.
He opened his eyes slowly to see a man clothed in shadows approaching several hundred meters away, and walking towards him. Sith...

He walked forward as his black cloak swayed in the gentle breeze. His hair flowed free, the dark mass of black hair flew like a flag from Ralin's head as it was caught in the breeze. Ralin walked forward knowing towards where he knew the Jedi would be coming from, if they were smart anyway. He sensed a presence through the aid of the Force, it drew closer and closer until Ralin looked off towards the horizon to find a young man walking towards him.
Definitely not a Sith, they were gathered at the Eternal Pyre. A sinister smile crept across Ralin's lips. Jedi...

Morgan smirked slightly, and patted the guard gently on the cheek he had just smacked him across. The guard closed his eyes and clenched, epecting another blow.
"Morgan." It was a whisper, but his keen aureal sense picked it up with ease.
Evanar slowly, purposefully rose. A light wind danced with the edge of his drab green trenchcoat, eyes glinted in the firelight, catlike, menacing.
He grinned, and with a growl, leapt at Nichos.

Gav Mortis
Apr 23rd, 2001, 07:18:34 PM
Upon hearing his name being called out, Gav smiles to himself and turns around to face the band of Jedi and the lady who was addressing him, Leia Solo. He wouldn't give them the respect as to look up to meet their eyes, instead, he remained deadly still, his head down somewhat so that his hood hid most of his face, except a devilish grin.
He stood there, hands clasped, his robes blowing in the cold, howling winds. He was patient, he could wait for all eternity to slay the Jedi before him, time was of no matter to him. There was silence after Leia presented her demands.
"Atrocities?" came the single question from the Sith. He didn't move.
Suddenly, an old woman who was having difficulty standing was suddenly wrenched off her feet into the air, taking with her one of the arms of the skeleton gaurds that held her. She soared through the air with such force, her piercing cry filled the valley. Into the fire she went from one side, she wailed in terror for a brief moment as she passed through it when on the other side of the fire, her smoking skeleton erupted from the roaring flames. There was still melted pieces of flesh remaining on the smouldering corpse, the bone blackened and crisp. Upon hitting the floor, the corspe shattered and broke apart, pieces of bone flying through the air or rolling through the dewy, fresh grass.
There was a shocked silence this time, the grin on Gav's face grew.
"You mean atrocities like that?" he asked in some evil, sadistic tone. He thrived on the pleasure he recieved from wasting a life, he had no respect for life at all, he loved the ways of Darkness, there was no denying it.
"You just have to be quicker than that my dear..."

*no matter, soon the Jedi would be extinguished... and that in her eyes was definitely NOT a waste*
*LV looked up, letting some of her dark energies bleed into the heavens... clouds began to form above, as a low rumble began to creep across the darkening sky... the storm grew colder and darker, blocking out what little light there was... lightning crashed and struck high points around the Pyre, while the thunder shook the ground... yet, no rain fell... it was a storm of anger and hate... a storm of evil... a Force storm of the Dark Side*

Feet thudding as he hit the ground, Evanar pulled his sword free with a metallic hiss.
He whirrled, facing Nichos. Metal sang through the air, and sparks flew on impact against the lightsaber. Morgan gritted his teeth, growling. Narrowing his eyes, he attacked again, swinging the ancient sword low as if to slice Marr neatly in half from hip to opposite shoulder. Nichos blocked, but Morgan turned his heel and kicked the Jedi Knight brutally in the side.
"Where were you nine months ago, six months ago, or even three, Marr?"
Nichos Marr

"Three months ago," Nichos grunted, as he fought to keep his balance, "I was at the Greater Jedi Order, training to become who I am today." He finished.
The Jedi was forced back. Morgan was indeed talented. Nichos couldn't understand where the fallen Jedi got all this anger from. He ran at Morgan, throwing his wait against a jab, that was easily blocked. Nichos twirled his saber to block another side slash, almost loosing his footing in the process. Nichos ducked low, narrowly missing another slash.
Nichos slashed high, the blades meeting in a thunderous stalemate. He used the Force to call upon the nature around him. He couldn't feel much lifeforce here. A clump of sand raised off the ground and smacked Morgan in the eyes. Nichos kicked him in the stomach, sending the fallen Jedi sprawling across the rocky floor. Nichos assumed a defencive stance.

Boaz continued to walk forward knowing that a confrontation was imminent. He looked down and placed a comforting hand on his lightsaber. He hadn't had the weapon long and he was far from a Master with it but at least he had the Force to guide him. Not to mention that Boaz Karno had more training than most Jedi Knights.
He continued up the rocky pathway as the two Force wielders of opposite polarities approached each other, each with a calm, cool demeanor. One with thoughts of peace and joy, the other with hate and anger. Jedi vs. Sith, good vs. evil. Boaz took in a deep breath and closed his eyes. He stopped and lowered his head. "This is for you Master Kizael" Boaz muttered to himself softly.

Apr 27th, 2001, 01:33:41 AM
"Ah yes" Ralin interrupted as the Jedi Padawan looked up to greet his foe. "Say your prayers" He took a couple of steps closer and leaned against a wall formed by the dense rock. "You're going to need all the help you can get."
They met at the pinnacle of the hill which created a plateau with roughly three walls. The mesa which the two stood upon formed a natural room made of hardened rock.
Ralin raised his right hand to his cloak which he wore over his shoulders, he untied the loose knot which kept it from falling to the floor. He yanked the cape off and threw it against one of the rock floors as he unclipped his lightsaber from his belt with his free hand. He walked forward a couple of steps so that he stood about fifteen meters from Boaz which was almost the complete length of the plateau.
"You Jedi are all the same." Ralin said as he began to pace back and forth slowly not even paying attention to Boaz, before he stopped and locked his eyes on the younger man. "Do you actually believe you're going to save those people?" Ralin said not without seriousness.
The Jedi student remained silent, he simply closed his eyes and took in a deep breath.
Ralin Zoth shook his head and stared at the Jedi. "Draw your weapon or I'll draw it for you....." Ralin demanded as he took a couple of steps closer "...from your cold, dead hands"

Unfortunately for Boaz the Sith was serious, battle was inevitable.
Boaz once again closed his eyes and began to concentrate on the Force, he began to feel the slight tingle of the light side trickling through him. He immediately had a deeper understanding of his surroundings and his battle sense was heightened. He began to reach his right hand down for his lightsaber but then neglected. He would first try and subdue his opponent without drawing his weapon. He opened his eyes and took a couple of steps forward locking his gaze upon Ralin Zoth almost able to anticipate the man's move before the man decided it.

"You are pathetic Jedi, it's time you learned a lesson or two." Ralin said as he stepped out into the center of the rocky plateau, he slowly switched the hilt of the lightsaber from his left hand to his right hand. He brought the weapon in front of him preparing to ignite it and engage in battle with the Jedi.
"I'll warn you one last time Jedi, draw steel." With that Ralin gripped the hilt of his 'saber with both hands so that his left hand was at the base of the hilt and his right hand was directly above it. The thumb on his right hand twitched above the ignition plate. He closed his eyes and ignited the blade of the mighty weapon which he held in front of him pointing towards the Jedi.

Boaz closed his eyes tightly and drew upon the knowledge of the Force. During his several months in extensive Jedi training Boaz had known that this moment would come. He also knew that he would be prepared.
He raised his right hand with a slight circular gesture. The lightsaber which the Sith gripped in both hands was torn from his grip and hurled still ignited into the rocky wall to the left of the Sith. The crimson blade was swallowed by the hilt as the durasteel 'saber hit the ground and bounced a couple of times before hitting the stone wall.
Boaz walked forward a couple of steps and stared into the eyes of the Sith. "I do not wish to fight you Sith. However if you resist I will be forced to deal with you, with extreme force if necessary."
Ralin Zoth
Apr 27th, 2001, 02:41:50 PM
"Very well Jedi, show me this extreme force you speak of. No wait... let me show you, the true power of the Force." With that he extended his left hand out quickly as the lightsaber came to his hand almost magnetically, as he held the powerful tool in his left hand the crimson blade emerged to its full length.
The Jedi began to take a couple of steps forward as Ralin Zoth extended his right hand while extending a powerful wave through the Force. As Ralin's hand extended straight towards the Jedi, the younger man flew off his feet and landed against the rocky wall with a hard thud before falling to the ground face first. The Jedi got up however and remarkably quickly taking into account the pain which he should be feeling.
"You are in over your head PA-DA-WAN" Ralin said as he emphasized each syllable.

If Boaz Karno were a normal man he would not be standing, and if he were standing he'd be favoring his ribs heavily. No Boaz was no mere man he was a Jedi. The healings powers granted to him by the Force made the pain go away. He nodded to the Sith as he reached down to unclip the lightsaber at his waist. "Very well then Sith, we will do things your way."
He unclipped the lightsaber with his right hand and brought it up so that he held it in both hands before sliding his thumb across the ignition plate. With a snap-hiss the golden blade emerged to just over a meter. The blade had belonged to the Jedi Master Drin Kizael who had disappeared on a mission, he'd left behind only his lightsaber and a Jedi Holocron. Boaz made good use of both.
"I sense your fear Sith, I can feel it, you wear your anger like a mask to hide your fear." Boaz stepped closer to the Sith as he talked until he was within just meters of the Sith. "There is good in you, yet you won't let it escape."

May 1st, 2001, 01:34:52 AM
Ralin Zoth wasted no time, as the Jedi's last words were spoken Ralin thrusted forward attempting to cleve a hole in the Padawan's abdomen. As quickly as he had acted the Jedi reacted, more quickly than Ralin would have suspected. The Jedi side stepped to the left moving his center of gravity as he used his lightsaber to bat the Sith's crimson blade down towards the ground. The crimson blade collided with the ground with great force as Ralin's momentum sent him forward. As Ralin flew just past the Jedi, the Jedi spun on his left foot dealing a round house kick to the back of Ralin's head sending him flying towards the rocky floor.
He bumped his head on the ground and flipped over quickly so that he was lying on his back. He raised his legs up quickly and propelled himself up without hesitation. He stood there facing the Jedi, the blood began to trickle down the left side of his face stemming from his forehead. A smile crept across his lips as he raised his lightsaber above his head with both hands providing a powerful backswing before thrusting the blade down towards the Jedi's head. Boaz reacted as quickly as before and quirked his blade so that his left hand was at the base of the hilt and his right hand was just to the right of that, the blade rested parallel to the rocky surface as the two blades crashed. The Jedi fought furiously to keep his blade still as Ralin pressed his blade down further. The two each pressed forward as the crackle of the blades could be heard for kilometers as they grinded into each other, each trying to gain leverage. Ralin quickly through his right leg into the Jedi's left side cracking into the ribs which were already injured by his spill into the wall. The Jedi nearly fell to the ground as he managed to hold his lightsaber up with his left hand as his right braced him on the ground. Once again Ralin raised the blade behind his head quickly and before the Jedi knew what was going on the blade came smashing down towards his head. Unable to do anything else the Jedi quickly rolled backwards and used the momentum to come to his feet. As quickly as the pain had come it was gone and he once again held his lightsaber in defensive posture ready to take whatever the Sith was unleashing.
"Well Jedi your skills are impressive. We'll see how much you've learned."

Morgan almost causually flipped back to his feet, brushing dirt from his eyes.
"Damnit."
It hurt, but it wasn't anything too hindering now that most of the sand was gone. His vision was watery, but he had other senses to call on. Light distiorted around Evanar's tall form, he vanished from sight and his force presence was oddly skewed. Nichos furrowed his brow.
"BeEhHhiiIiiinDDdd YoUU" The voice was oddly distorded, and Nichos whirrled. Evanar actually was now behind Marr, who whirlled again just in time to get an incredibly nasty axe kick across the side of the head. Nichos was slammed violently left and down to the ground, and the reapearing tall form advanced.
OOC: Sorry Marr, I just axe kicked the hell out of you, upside the head no less. Morgan possess exceptional physical strength, even when not using the force.
Heres how it works: Stand with your feet about shoulders width apart, one in front of the other, point your front foot. now swing your back leg up and slightly left. If you are flexible enough, you could easly kick somone in the head. Continue the motion downward, which would pull the person down with your foot if done a certain way. Basically, I kicked you in the temple and used the motion to carry it into a stomp, sorry if that was unclear.

May 5th, 2001, 01:03:43 PM
Nichos hopped upwards and held his lightsaber in a defiant stance. What trickery was this? Morgan was playing mind games on Nichos. Well the Jedi could do that too.
He focused on the Force around him. A few large rocks raised off the ground, flying straight for Morgan. Nichos used the Force inside to duplicate himself while Morgan was busy dodging the rocks. There were 3 Nichos'. The real Nichos blocked his presence through the Force, and shifted with the others to mix themselves up.
"Guess which one Morgan." They all spoke in unison.
