Aliya looked at the chronometer on her wrist. Their ferry would be here in about twenty minutes and boarding would happen not far off from that. Now her companion was missing in action. The Cizerack had disappeared about a half an hour ago, complaining about hunger pains.

Now she sat here alone, waiting not only for the Ferry but the stupid alien that Sanis teamed her up with. Her right leg had grown numb and she crossed her legs in the opposite direction and scrolled down the holo-pad she was reading. Hopefully Cirrsseeto had an internal clock and would show up soon ... Aliya wanted the nice pay-off this simple excursion had at the end.

Cirrsseeto handed the Gamorrean cashier a credit chit, but had to have the porcine alien help him tally up the right amount for his order. The felinoid didn't understand numbers very well.

Thankfully, Coruscant was far more cosmopolitan than Arcan IV, and catered better to other species and their dietary needs. This particular shop, Klatooine Live Frogs, was a galactic franchise well known for serving party-size buckets of live, Klatooine paddy frogs, in both original and extra slimey recipe. Cirrsseeto ordered the 20-pound bucket. It would be a quickie snack...something small he could take with him on the trip.

Finally paying the Gamorrean, who responded with a squeal-grunt, Cirrsseeto took the bucket full of squirming amphibians with him, taking a quick hovercab back to the starport. A few minutes of walking through the concourse, and he picked up the Hyuu-mann Aliya's unique scent. His ears perked up as he made his way to her, sitting on the bench to her side. He reached into the bucket, pulling out a squirming paddy frog. The Cizerack bared his fangs, plunging them squarely into the chubby frog's midsection, the crunching sound of snapping bones and the ripping sound of flesh audible. Dribbles of blood and juice ran down his chin, as he tore the frog in half, gulping down the head. Purring at his satisfaction, Cirrsseeto popped the rest of the creature into his mouth, slurping down its still-twitching hind legs.

He turned to Aliya, his mouth still half-full

Hehmmm...jyouhmm...wan'sssohmm?

A horrifying and disgusted look came across Aliya's face. This ingrate didn't even have the deceny to use any utensils nor cloth to keep himself clean! The juices of the ... whatever he was eating splashed onto the bench and it almost got her suit soiled!

She forced herself to stare at the holo-pad instead of the barbaric face of her companion.

"Didn't anyone teach you to not speak with your mouth full?"

Cirrsseeto pondered the question, continuing to slowly chew the remnants of the frog as he did so. After a moment, he shook his head in the negative, and swallowed.

As soon as he did this, he was already digging another amphibian out of the bucket, maneuvering it towards his gaping, hungry jaws.

Such a disgusting creature.

"Perhaps you should learn. Most beings don't like watching others make fools of themselves."

Aliya was about to go into Cirrsseeto's lack of etiquette when a chime sounded across the terminal.

"Attention all passengers of Flight 33A. Your shuttle has arrived. Proceed to entrance Delta and have tickets ready. It will be approximately a twenty minute flight to space where the Silver Aurora awaits."

The ex-Imperial prayed a silent thank you and stood up, picking up her bag.

"That's our cue. Throw away that ... stuff and let's go."

Unwilling to simply leave all of the good food uneaten, Cirrsseeto grabbed two of the frogs, shoving both into his mouth at the same time, in an attempt to eat faster. As he chomped down, he noticed Aleeyah give him an angry face.

Cirrsseeto sheepishly licked a straying frog leg into his mouth, swallowing the half-chewed pair of amphibians.

Oh...sssorrrjy...

With slouching shoulders, Cirrsseeto reluctantly walked to the garbage can with the bucket. With his back to Aleeyah, he snatched six of the slimy animals from the bucket, stuffing them into his pockets.

With a sly face, he glanced left, then right...and snatched another frog from the bucket, snapping it down his throat quickly so the Hyuu-mann wouldn't see.

Licking away the dribble, he turned around, returning to Aliya.

Okajy...rrreadjy. Now, wherrre do we go?

She pretended not to notice but the sickening slurping of the last leg going down his gullet caused a queasy feeling in her stomach. Aliya would have been grateful to know she turned away in time before her "partner" starting stuffing food into his pockets.

The smell wouldn't go away though and would be a constant reminder.

Taking a deep breath through her mouth to avoid the smell, she put on a better face and acted like everything was fine.

"We're going on that shuttle."

She pointed it out with her free hand.

"And we're going to the Space Platform to get on our ferry and out of this system."

Cirrsseeto's icy-blue eyes widened in what could only be sheer terror, as his ears hung as low as they could possibly go.

He didn't know they were going in space! HE HATED SPACE FLIGHT!

Instinctively, he grabbed at her arm, tugging her back, shaking his head as he did so.

Noo!! Noo!! Not on one of thossse! Ssscarrrjy! jI don't ljike them!

The Cizerack held onto Aliya as if the ground might fall out from under him, and he needed some kind of support. He looked at her pleadingly, hoping she had another idea.

Her face and her mind were fighting against each other. Aliya was telling herself not to laugh, but it was so damn funny watching the fur ball beg. Such a showing further proving this alien's lack of upbringing.

Yes, she was enjoying this.

Placing her briefcase on the floor, Aliya peeled the claws of her person and shoved them away like they were the plague. It was bad enough that he smelled like those frogs, but not that stench was on her.

"I had no idea you didn't like space flight. You really that scared?"

It took all her willpower to not laugh right in his face as she saw the pure terror reflected in those feral eyes.

"Fine. You stay here and I will go by myself. You can tell Sanis yourself why."

Aliya closed her eyes and nodded her head forward in a good-bye, picked up her briefcase, and then went straight to the terminal.

Noo!!

Cirrsseeto redoubled his efforts, grabbing onto Aliya's arm and looking wide-eyed. One thing he feared more than space travel was the ire of his mistress. If he didn't carry out her orders, she would be furious. And she had explicitly ordered him to follow Sanis' plan to the letter, without complaints.

But...but...he HATED space flight!

Cirrsseeto's mouth opened as he blubbered and stammered, ears drooping in desperation.

jI...jI...noo....oh...

Okajy...jI wjill go. But...jyou have to hold mjy hand!

Cirrsseeto's large paw clamped over Aliya's hand, and he walked with her toward the boarding gate with great trepidation.

She snatched her hand away and glared straight into the trembling eyes of Cirrsseeto.

"Listen here. I am not going to hold your greasy hand like a child I'm babysitting. We're suppose to be here for business now act accordingly."

Aliya couldn't stop her nostrils from flaring. Never had she been so infuriated recently then coddling this foolish alien. Her hands snapped her jacket straight before she turned around and continued to the terminal.

Reluctantly, Cirrsseeto did as Aliya wished, following her through the terminal, and up the boarding ramp to the starship, trembling and muttering prayers to himself as he went. His hair seemed to stand on end somewhat in response to his extreme anxiety. He followed Aliya down an aisle and to a row of plush seats. Cowering from the window seat, Cirrsseeto deferred it to Aliya, wedging his bulky frame into the innermost seat after she had settled herself. Not wanting to look at the window, Cirrsseeto closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and dug his claws into the armrests of the seat, muttering some low-toned prayers in his native Cizerack tongue. After a few seconds, one blue eye popped open to see if they were airborne. Thankfully, they weren't yet. He hung onto the last few moments on the ground, dreading what was soon to come.

He'd been on ships before, and they were all horrible. The ground fell out from beneath your feet, and you watched your planet fall into a speck below you. Then, it seemed like the ship seemed to shrink, and the air became stale and unbreathable. Cirrsseeto would've clawed his way through the first ferry's hull, but he was too afraid of being sucked into freezing, airless space and dying there.

As the Cizerack thought of what was to come, beads of sweat grew on his forehead, as one of the several paddy frogs stuffed in his pockets fidgeted

Aliya rolled her eyes as she took the window seat and made herself comfortable. She had to give credit to Prent, at least they got a first class treatment on this trip ... which of course anything less would be beneath her.

As she stole a glance at her feline companion, the pampered treatment would be lost for a lost cause as him.

She placed the briefcase on her lap and clicked it opened. Pulling out a few datapad's, she returned it back underneath the seat in front of them. Aliya wanted to brush up on her Bothawai as well as make sure that the plan went smoothly.

A small ding was heard and the pilot spoke through the intercomm that the ferry would be departing soon and to buckle in. She took great pleasure seeing that the Cizerack continued to ack like a scared little kitten as she buckled herself in.

A stewardess walked by, and Cirrsseeto energetically snatched away a towel, wrapping it around his ears and eyes. Hunched over, the big Cizerack braced, as the star ferry lifted off smoothly and gracefully. It still felt like the world was ending. His mouth gaped open, teeth bared in terror.

RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUURRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

He settled down...barely, for the rest of the 2 hour trip.

The foolish Cizerack finally calmed down and enjoyed the food he smuggled on board to keep him ocupied for the two hour journey. During this time, Aliya finished her quick study of Bothawai and went over and over how the transfer was to be done.

Out of the corner of her eye, she glared at the alien. He better not screw this up because there are many ways that Aliya knew how to skin that hide of his. This suit wasn't completely for show.

Over the loudspeaker, the Captain informed all the passengers that they would be exiting hyperspace soon and to prepare for the immediate docking at the Space Platform.

Aliya, put away her datapad and relaxed.

"That means to put on your seat belt"

And that was just incase catboy was too scared to comprehend basic.

The Cizerack nodded and with shaky hands, clamped his safety restraint on, preparing to dock. His claws unsheathed, the two-inch talons digging deeply into the armrests as he waited for the ship to come to a stop. Growling at the window, he reached across to Aliya's side, slamming the window cover shut.

After a moment, the ferry came to a stop, and as soon as he heard the airlock door open with a hiss, the Cizerack bolted, bowling people out of his way as he sprinted for the (semi)terra firma of the space station.

She covered her face out of embarrassment. Hopefully since she was human, the passengers on this ferry would not associate it with her because Aliya was human. Taking her time, Aliya unstrapped herself and took hold of her briefcase before falling into line with the others on board.

As she set foot onto the station, Aliya looked around for the big bad Cizerack ...
