The Jedi vs Sith

Hey I'm fairly new to this board I was just wondering what's going on at the Jedi vs Sith board? Do the Sith guys and the jedi guys just argue with each other? how does it work?

Well...We battle and argue over which side is better. We also try to turn each other to either the dark side or the light side of the force. It's really all about role playing and having fun. We have the leaders (I lead the Sith right now) and then we have padawans and apprentices that we teach. We don't fight much anymore like we used to but you can look at some of the older threads to get an idea of how it's done. Of course if you are thinking about joining in I would recomend the Sith...we are so much more together then the jedi are. :)

First off, welcome to the board, Auriga:) As Mara said, it's really all about role-playing and having a little fun. Ignore these Sith. The Jedi are better. The movies prove it and everyone knows that TV doesn't lie:) Hope you like it here:)

Ok I dig it, thanks everyone. So anyway them Jedi don't seem to have it all together so maybe by becoming a padawan I could bring balance to the force or something. So how bout it guys?

No, just choose a side. You will have to start out as Padawan( but that is not so bad) Then you can work your way up from there.

Ok then. I pick the Jedi. Am I supposed to get assigned to a Jedi Master or something. Also you work your way up through posts right?

Well, I believe it was decided that you need 100 posts before being able to join. This way, we can learn about you. You may want to talk to the leader of the Jedi, CMJ, to see what he thinks. I would be happy to take you as my Padawan though once you reach that post count or if CMJ allows it...and if it's ok with you As far as working your way up, as of now, it is determined through post count. We are working on different ideas though as we speak...or post:)

Yes, just go to the jedi vs sith, and post a new topic and ask about a master. Then someone will take you in. I think Obi offered so you may ask him.
