It looked like he got a handful. I think there is a pic on the Internet sumwhere that shows the pic and yes, it is her left . Remember she is on the right side of the bunker and her wound is facing the outside. Han is giving her cover when she pulls out her blaster from her (drumroll) right hand. ( I Love you.... I know. BLAM!)
