The two special events on Friday evenings and the day after on the 27th of January (which local SciFi clubs and Star Trek, Babylon 5, etc... clubs will be there on opening day)at the Va. Air and Space Center in Hampton-600 Settlers Rd.. Hampton, Va. 23669.
Star Trek: Federation Science:
January 27 - April 30, 2001
Prepare for re-entry and "boldly go where no one has gone before" when the traveling exhibit STAR TREK: Federation Science docks at the Virginia Air & Space Center. This fascinating exhibit is back by popular demand after a successful run at the Center in 1996. By exploring physics, astronomy, and physiology, guests will be authorized to launch space probes, navigate through asteroid belts, receive distress signals and transport people to alien planets. Uniforms and props used in the hit series Star Trek: The Next Generation will be available for visitors to inspect.
