What is the name of this Imperial Weapon?

I have two conflicting sources for this Imperial Firearm.

The Imperial Source Book from West End Games notes this as a Concussion Grenade Launcher p.38

The Star Wars - The Essential Guide to weapons and technology states that this is a Light Repeating Blaster p.12-13

Is there any confirmation to what the name of this weapon is?

Just a guess - I would think that the Essential Guide would overrule the Source Book.

Sounds good, I know one person cannot complete speak on behalf of the entire Star Wars community. However I have notice a trend that there is a some disagreements with what West End Games has published in their sourcebooks. SSD lengths, Shield Generators, etc.

I might mention, however, that that looks nothing like a repeater rifle to me. In fact, when you first posted this, I was thinking "Grenade Launcher".

But I'm hardly a "reliable source". :)

Oh, don't remind me. I dislike West End Games terribly. They're the ones who started misleading people in the first place, saying the SSD was 8km long.

When I saw it in ANH, I thught it looked like a rifle, so I'd rule out the grenade launcher
