I was just wondering if any of you guys here are as in love with these vehicles as I am. My boss has a collection of WWII planes on his desk, so I decided to get some Action Fleet vehicles to "compete" with his little display. They are really nice toys. The detail is great! I have 5 on my desk right now. I have the TIE, Tie Interceptor, DV's Tie, X-Wing, and Slave I. Slave I even has a little Han in carbonite! These are just too cool!

They are nice little things, but I never got into them.

Yeah, I really didn't care about them either til I saw the Tie Interceptor. Then I was hooked. I just bought all of them recently and I believe they origianlly came out in 95.

Just came back from KB where I found the Xwing and Bwing on clearance for $3.99! I have 7 vehicles on my desk now!

So now you have 2 x-wing's? Are you gonna start a fleet? That would be cool. A bunch of x-wings on your desk where you could change the paint on them a little to give them some individuality. But a fleet of TIE and other Imperial craft would be even cooler!

I dunno. I don't have a lot of space on my desk. Right now I have the 3 Imperial craft on my monitor and the 3 rebel craft on my tower. They look pretty cool as it is. I have a Tie Bomber on the way, too. Not sure where I'm gonna put it though. :)

I was really into that line when it first came out. I kind of gave up on it 2 years ago. In fact, most of them are now crammed in boxes. I couldn't part with them though, I just can't bear to sell them. They're pretty cool. The B-wing, one I never bought, is one of the better ships in that collection.

Speaking of desks, at my desk at school I have the die-cast metal collection. They're just the right size and I love the feel of them. Sandcrawler, Slave I, tie Bomber, tie fighter, A-wing, Super Star Destroyer, Falcon, Y-Wing, Snowspeeder, and X-Wing. I love my desk!

My AF Bwing and Slave I are my favs so far. I'm real disappointed with the AF Maul Sith Infiltrator , though. They made the prototype vehicle the big one and the final design of the Infiltrator the small one. I wonder why they changed that. All my other Alpha series were the other way around. Seems kinda silly to me.

I've got the Y-Wing, but I'm not sure I want to part with it yet!

Yeah, that's fine. Its just that now you got me thinking about the whole idea of having a fleet of these vehicles. So, if anyone has a few that they don't want anymore, I would be happy to take them off your hands. For a price, of course. :)

Well, for the greater good of the Star Wars community, I could be persuaded to part with my A-Wing and Y-Wing, if you're looking to build a rebel fleet. Just don't try the Jedi mind trick! :)

Heh heh. We Sith are tricky like that, you know. I actually just put a bid in for a pair of A-Wings and the Y-Wings I can still get at my local KB. Is there a complete list of the Action Fleet series anywhere? Maybe I could use it to make my AF want list.

$3.99!!! Dude you got ripped off!

No, I'm joking. But I did get a better deal then you. Toys R Us had them today for $1.97, so I got the X-Wing, which I'm going to hang from my ceiling above my Millennium Falcon Modle and my Original Empire Strikes Back Diecast Cloud Car.

They had the X-Wing and the B-Wing-both $1.97. And all the Micromachine Star Wars stuff was .97 per package.

I went to TRU this weekend. Didn't find any AF, but I did see the Micro Machines. I've been looking at the picsof the entire AF line and it looks as if I've got the good stuff already. All the vehicles that I don't have, I don't want! :)

I love the AF vehicles! I got into them too late to get all the ones I wanted though... :(
I've got the ATAT, Snowspeeder, Lambda shuttle (all alphas that I got on clearance last year :) ), x-wing, naboo fighter, and DV's TIE that I got a few months ago at TRU (flight controller thing; on clearance).

I haven't had any luck finding ones I want at TRU... actually, finding any at all other than a cloud car and x-wing.
