Here is my collection of vintage Star Wars figures from 77-85.

My Blue Snaggletooth wasnt in my collection at the time of the photo but hes there now. All figures are complete with accessories cept for R2D2 with sabre as this figure has a luke Jedi Sabre not his baseball bat sabre.

Aw, I got all those!

Just kidding! That's one awesome collection. Nice display, too. Unfortunately most of my vintage SW stuff didn't survive my childhood. I only have a few figs and a speeder bike left. I also have a few bits and pieces of my Darth Vader's Star Destroyer, too.

I've got 46 vintage figs, although none of them have any accessories whatsoever. I've also got the vintage snowspeeder with no parts, the falcon missing every piece imaginable, the rancor, ewok village, and a harnessless tauntaun.

That display is just beautiful! I've got about 1/3 of those vintage figs ozz. I would have had my vintage stuff finished years ago but POTF2 & EP1 have taken over. I'll probably be able to finish my vintage collection when the movies are over. I just can't stop from buying the new stuff. Oh well, I still have my vintage Death Star Playset. :)

Haa

I never got into the newer POTF figures so I was lucky. I got most of mine as a kid off my folks. Im surpised they are in such good condition since I played with em so much. When POTF2 came out I was in high school/uni so I was too old to get toys as presents and too poor to buy them so I never got into it. Now im working I was able to buy the odd vintage I was missing and the new EP1 stuff.

Buts its hard in Australia with Hasbro not releasing figures here and buy the sounds of it Target and co are nothing like as good over here *sigh*

I know what you mean. High school can be a hard time to be a collector. You don't have much cash, and there are so many social activities you have to deal with. Even in college I didn't have the time or resources to collect much of anything. Once you start working everything changes.
I've heard Austrailia can be a tough place to get to collect POTF2 & EP1. You guys have it even worse than the Canadians!

BTW, what do you have in the way of vintage ships and playsets?

Vintage playsets I never really had many. Mainly I think due to the cost as a kid my folks would never buy them for me. I did have a couple of those mini rigs and also the Dagobah playset but they all got ebayed when I was trying to get the last couple of figures to complete the set

I have most of those, but the rarer ones I am missing.

I'm in highschool and I just really got into the new POTF stuff recently with the amazing sale prices.

The rest of my vintage collection includes:

3 Mini Rigs
Original Laser Cannon with all parts.
Wampa
Tauntan with Harness, no reins.
Luke's Speeder
Speeder Bike
ATAT Walker
A Ship From Droids
Dewback
Rancore
The Tool Kit with all tools and hoses.
Echo Base and Ion Canon from the Die Cast Minis
Window portion of Bespin from Die Cast Minis
Death Star Playsets from Minis
Wampa Cave from Minis
Several Pices of Hoth from the Minis, including power generator.
Die Cast Cloud Car ESB
Thats about it. I have other things, but its not a great collection, small, but I like it.

I think the biggest dilemma will be to come across that Amanaman fig at a reasonable price!

Oza Fett, is that the entire figure collection?

That's one sweet display Oza! I really need to do that one of these days (build a display case). I have almost all of the vintage line not including the POTF w/coins wave. Lost interest at that point. :) Hmm, I think I'm still missing a Hoth Leia, never could find one without a broken nose. Also have many of the playsets and vehicles. I love all that old stuff. Would be fun to complete everything, but I'm not paying "vintage" prices.

That's a nice collection Indy. Is that Death Star the big one that had 3 levels and the Trash Compactor w/Dianoga?

With the exception of a couple of variants that is the entire set. I have the Luke jedi with a Blue Sabre which is apparently rare (meant to be green) I dont have figures with the two piece lightsaber and stuff but with the Blue Snaggletooth (not pictured) that I picked up recently it is every figure. I got no idea what happened to my POTF coins though.

No, its for the Mini Diecasts. It has tree levels, an elevator and the power generator Ben powered down the tractor beam. It connects with another part I have. If I had a digital camera I would exhibit all my pieces. NOTE: My collection was about twice as large, but one day MOM cleaned the basement, and...

I forgot to mention my collection of Droids action figs. I have most of them minus bad guys, and the female character.
