I have a solid, heavy, large white gold men's ring with a Star Wars rebel insignia in black carved in the top. It's a custom made ring and very high-quality and beautiful. It was appraised at about $1300.00 just as a piece of jewelry, and I was wondering how much it might be worth as a collectible. I haven't decided if I'm ready to sell it yet. Any thoughts?

If it's not officially licensed byt Lucasfilm, you'll only get what a collector is willing to give you for it. There is no real "collector" value of the ring, even though you paid alot for it. If I were you, I'd keep the ring unless I could make nearly all the money back from it. But the only reason a person would buy it from you is because they like it as well. You probably won't get $1300 for it, because anyone who sees it can most likely have the ring made themselves for the same amount and get a brand new ring. It sounds really nice though. Why would you want to get rid of it?
