Hi, guys...

Joe Campbell here. I mostly lurk and occasionally post over at the prop board, but I'm also a figure fan and collector, and I was lucky enough to literally discover the kind of thing I've actually had dreams about -

My second cousin, who I didn't know at all, passed away five years ago, and his wife was unsure what to do with all the "space crap" he had acquired over the years. My aunt suggested she talk to me (Apparently I'm the family expert on "space crap").

So I go over to the house, she lets me in the garage, and I am literally blown away. Bags of stuff. Boxes of stuff. Cases of stuff. All of it Star Wars or Star Trek. All of it mint.

To start:
42 vintage vinyl collectors Star Wars cases, each with 35 guys packed in there, completely unplayed with and covered with the original plastic bubble. (although they are off the original card, I guess since couldn't find a way to store them otherwise) I counted - There are 1400 completely mint vintage Star Wars figures, 600 of which are Stormtroopers, 400 of which are Rebel Commandos. There are a ton of Hoth troopers, biker scouts and Hoth rebels(I guess the guy liked dioramas - Although he never set anything up, according to his wife). There's a complete set of POTF coins and figures, about 50 Jawas, 10 or 12 Darth Vaders, 7 Emperors, still sealed in the "send-away" plastic bag, etc.

He died in 1996, and before his death he had begun to buy the new POTF figures. There's about 60 or 70 of these, still on the card.

There are hundreds of Micro Machines, some opened, some not - I counted 37 tie fighters alone.

There are Playmates unopened Star Trek figures, as well as lifesize phasers, disrupters, communicators, etc. Although nearly all of the figures are still on the card, the weapons are mostly unboxed, although they're mint.

There are unopened Star Wars models, about a thousand micro machine sized diecast airplanes, a zillion trading cards, 15 or 20 unbuilt, still shrinkwrapped airplane models, a 12 inch "Johnny West" figure mint and complete in the box, and a ton of other stuff I haven't had a chance to go through.

She GAVE it to me. All of it.

But I didn't accept it, although I told her I'd catalogue, inventory and sell it for her in exchange for a cut.

I haven't priced anything yet, guys, except the stormtroopers: $11.50 each, plus shipping. I'll try to get a picture up in the next hour or so, but I'm not exaggerating - These figures are complete. They're mint. They're stiff, and they even still SMELL new.

If you're interested in the stormtroopers or anything else, email me here: walks@russellwalks.com, or post.

Here's a few pictures of a very small part of this collection. Any yellowing you see is the plastic bubble covering the figure. All the figures are completely mint.

I accept paypal, money orders, or cashiers checks.

I admire you for not taking the toys free of charge. That's quite an admirable thing to do. Are any of the vinly vintage cases ROTJ cases? That's the last one I need to complete my set.

I might be interested in a carded Jawa and Tusken raider of the old style if there are any and its not too expensive. What a find for you! Good thing she asked you or it might have gone to a garage sale or something.

Is there any way you can repost the pics?
